Yes one of the purposes is to remove middleman because that area is where usually a lot of fees pops up and increase our electricity bill. With blockchain and smart contracts we believe those fees will be much lower. Of course there will still be a system but we want to lower costs of this as much as possible. Also it is worth noting that renewable energy is becoming cheaper with its development. So we think that with our focus on that energy source our products will become even more competitive against mainstream offerings. |

Thats true i were looking on the last days to get a solar energy panel, but the price of it is very big, even if i do sell some energy to my currently provider its an investment i will recover into 6-10 years, and i dont know if i will still the same place where i do live. I really hope this project can grow and reach all countries, being able to purchase equipement with bitcoin would be amazing as well.
We are on the same boat my friend. Solar panel is still expensive to my country and if this project will become successful in the future, globally, we can all benefit from it specially if it is available to the masses. That is right, we are not the only one who will be having a benefit from these project, but our environment also. We are having a good source of electricity, and we are also maintaining the beauty of our Mother Earth. I just hope that these project will be successful like other projects that Sir Yahoo handled. Even when this campaign becomes successful, we definitely did not do anything to "preserve" the Earth's resources. Why? Because regardless if this campaign existed or not, there will still be people doing dynamite fishing, deforestation, illegal logging, or simply just polluting the whole country because of the huge factories that they have made. SunContract was just made so we can buy energy online using the blockchain technology. What's up with all these solar panel thing? Obviously they are not going to ship you solar panels, and they surely are not going to make their own electricity grid all over the world. This project will probably just have partnerships on electric companies as mentioned in the OP. So all your "save mother Earth" and "Solar panels are expensive" dramas are invalid. You will be paying the same amount of money, to the same people, but just with a different currency online. SunContract's focus will be on providing local communities with energy from local producers of electricity. If electricity is produced locally then transport on long distances is not necessary. We will try to support local producers that have solar plants or other ways to create energy from sustainable resources. We know that one one project cannot change whole world. But we thing that we have to start somewhere. So SunContract is not only a project "to sell/buy energy" online on blockchain but is a step towards fairer, cleaner and more sustainable environment. |

the energy market is very demanding. Decentralised Energy Market is a great idea, but do you think that can be a trouble that is in many countries energy market under government control and very limited for new providers. Whether you researched how many countries can support this project?
We are aware that every government is somewhat unique as far as the energy sector is concerned, that is why we'll first focus on countries, where we are most knowledgeable of energy policy framework. We plan to be present in several EU countries, for instance in Slovenia, Austria, Germany and also in some Middle Eastern countries like UAE (Dubai), Jordan and Turkey. Some jurisdictions could be covered without changing their existing regulatory framework for project implementation at the moment, and we will prepare to enter any other markets in the future. |

I hope this SunContract will have a facebook campaign. By performing a facebook campaign you can have many investors. There are now many users of facebook. By promoting this project in the facebook I know it will be a good way to make progress. We’d like to first focus on countries, where we are most knowledgeable of energy policy framework. This certainly are some EU jurisdictions and Dubai in UAE. Our business model is structured to work in the existing regulatory framework, especially where net metering scheme is in place. |

correct, trusting 1 user with large amount of money isn't a good idea, I'm not saying that one escrow will run with the money but choosing 3 people to act as escrow is way much better and safer for all of us You have a good point. There is a saying that "never trust anybody". I like to invest only my small amount of btc but I have also a hope that this project will become successful. Being an escrow is a very important function. There is a lot of responsibility in this role to the community as well as the team. That is why we have appointed one trustworthy escrow for now, and are making arrangements for some other escrow members to be potentially added. |

We have a team of people, who worked in energy business for a long time, have IT and blockchain knowledge and are very aware of security issues in energy, finance and crypto sectors. The key of success is to know how energy sector is working now and where it can be improved, changed or disrupt. Blockchain supported solutions in energy sector have wide range of useful applications, but mostly they are not supported by regulations to be able to prevail. SunContract project is oriented to the fields, where P2P energy market can be put into operation without prior regulatory changes. Yes, transmission girds within Europe are interconnected, but Europe and US grids are not. SunContract project is not meant to solve market coupling issues. |
