It is time to start getting KORE listed on other exchanges.
I'm OK with this soon as we get this update out specially seeing
many other PoSv3 coins are having similar issues with their wallets
so the Exchanges are familiar...

We will need the Community behind KORE 1000%

I haven't traded here yet, but I have an account and think that bit-z is very fast and clean ui. They have a coin voting system that might draw publicity since there is only a handful in voting right now... Every new account that verifies get's free voting coins.

Tons of volume too. We'd need a reward though.. for the voters. Maybe get some kore together and start a bounty for the voting? Twitter campaign.

Sign up I only found through the support articles.. here: https://support.bit-z.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004473554-Launch-new-currency-on-Bit-Z

Application is reviewed faster when it is submitted by a core-team member.

I think the voting has a deadline though, so we would need a big community push/bounty. I'd reckon the bounty would be cheaper than paying topia the outrageous 13 btc, or the absurd 8+ btc it takes to get on c-cex now.. Infact... the bounty could require screenshots of voting on bit-z.. then extra rewards for voting on c-cex! Not to mention joining telegram (mostly to stop people from entering multiple times) + twitter retweet.. Take a play from airdrops.

Buy a couple thousand kore and bounty it up. Much cheaper and it'd be paying for marketing too, getting the name out. (Yes, the risk of people dumping instantly will happen.. Unavoidable.. The amount of people that would stay for the tech is well worth it.)

With a proper campaign, we could expect 4k-20k submissions, consider giving everyone 0.15-0.25 kore, extra 0.1 for the c-cex vote.. extra 0.15 kore if it gets listed.. Something like that would be widely successful promotion Imo. Cheaper than buying it into the exchange as well, and instant marketing/social awareness.. triple win.

Cheers kore.

Awesome ideas.
Thanks.
We should do them all.
My only concern is the KORE Community is small.
This may not be the best time to push a voting only campaign.
The idea was once the wallet was stable and the Browser integrated.
This would grow the Community.
Then we get listed on "voting exchanges".
A pay for votes combined with Community voting could work.

I'm a little worried that I will have difficulties with launching the nodes, in Russia there is absolutely no information on Kore.

And the level of my English leaves much to be desired.

TheMatrix101 made an automated easy way to setup a Masternode.
We are still offering help with them in Linux.
You can ask him on Discord Kore Support thread for help.

First prepare yourself by following the masternode guide found on the website:

as always, invest at your own risk...do your research

Go KORE, Go BTC!!!

What a childish question.

Awesome to hear from Russia!

For whatever reason I am getting multiple errors when trying to setup my masternode with Digital Ocean. After executing ./test/sh it begins.

hash.cpp: in function 'unsigned int MurmurHash3 (unsigned int, const std::vector<unsigned char>&':
hash.cpp:50:16 warning this statement my fall through [Wimplicit-fallthrough=]  and so on and so on.

An clue what is going on? Tried Ubuntu v16 and v17 but still the same issues.

Lost at the moment...

Thanks,
Hank

You are most likely not in root, doing something wrong or not following the guide directly.
Go to the Discord KORE support thread for help for Linux from the Community
and we are offering an automated setup service soon.
https://discord.gg/VD2kytE
For windows we do not offer support due to the unreliability of security of windows.
The do it yourself Masternode Setup guide can be found on the website.

Hello everybody,

So the flaws on the Cpus that came to light are very bad and you definetly should take the time to patch it up as good as you can, here is a quick explanation of the problems found.

Meltdown, applicable to virtually every Intel chip made for many years, along with certain high-performance ARM designs, is the easier to exploit and enables any user program to read vast tracts of kernel data. The good news, such as it is, is that Meltdown also appears easier to robustly guard against. The flaw depends on the way that operating systems share memory between user programs and the kernel, and the solution—albeit a solution that carries some performance penalty—is to put an end to that sharing.

Spectre, applicable to chips from Intel, AMD, and ARM, and probably every other processor on the market that offers speculative execution, too, is more subtle. It encompasses a trick testing array bounds to read memory within a single process, which can be used to attack the integrity of virtual machines and sandboxes, and cross-process attacks using the processor's branch predictors (the hardware that guesses which side of a branch is taken and hence controls the speculative execution). Systemic fixes for some aspects of Spectre appear to have been developed, but protecting against the whole range of fixes will require modification (or at least recompilation) of at-risk programs.

Here is some good tips to better protect yourself from these cpu flaws that were found:

https://www.pcworld.com/article/3245810/security/how-to-protect-your-pc-meltdown-spectre-cpu-flaws.html

Here some good info on this problem:

https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2018/01/meltdown-and-spectre-heres-what-intel-apple-microsoft-others-are-doing-about-it/

These problems are a good example of why we need a more secure OS like AetherOS to protect our freedom and privacy.

Go Kore, Go BTC

Cheers

Thanks MXRider for the information.  Here is another link to read.

Awesome to see what could be the result of some brave whistlblowers and decent people coming forward
and possibly forcing their hand to own up to these exploits.

Hi guys,

I have been accumulating Kore for a while and have now enough for a Node!

Could anybody give me a hand setting it up?

I am at step 9 of the masternode setup guide and need to include a line at the bottom of masternode.config, however, there is no "masternode.config" in my Kore directory in Ubuntu.

Do I need to create a new file with "nano" like I did with kore.config a steps back?

Thanks!

Please go to the KORE Support thread in Discord.
When "TheMatrix101" gets in later today I'm sure he could help
but ask those in the thread. There are plenty of ones who are good.

We have the same shill posting the same unwarranted, false, twisted complaint that does not hold water.
It is their twisted view.
Sad people have to stoop to such low states.

Hey there,

I'm doing a comparison of anonymous tech, and have included KORE on recommendation.   If possible, please let me know if there are features I've missed or how I can better clarify the assessment.   Reference to verifiable facts such as websites, whitepapers, Dev comments, or the Devs themselves, is always appreciated.

Due to some incorrect information in this chart Im removing it.
We may revisit it at a later time dependent...

Happy New Year!!!

A question for MM, dev team and for the community

Would you like to see KORE in Ledger Nano S?
Would you donate whatever you can to get listed?
Would you buy a limited edition Ledger Nano S with KORE logo on it?

Absolutely.

New version of Windows!
Looks like the forced reindexing may be fixed.
Need to see if the disappearing coins is fixed too so please test it out ASAP.
They are on the GIT

a new version is on the GIT.

Where's the Github with the active dev in it? In the OP it links to this page, but it hasn't been updated in 3 months (so I must be in the wrong place)
