Not as boring as any Star Wars movie. well when i saw the original star wars in the theater back in the 70s it was pretty rockin. the rest of the series, along with that reissue they did of the original with more effects did stink though. Empire was OK at the time but when I saw revenge and a bunch of teddy bears waddling with spears killing storm troopers I just about puked and it only went down hill from there. Always was a Trekkie until after the next generation, everything good gets destroyed, I cant even force myself to watch the woke drivel they put out under the franchise now. |

It still baffles me that people can afford to keep their houses with everything that's going on.. Either prices have to decline or things will go belly up very soon. People with 2.75-4% mortgages are hanging on due to relatively low monthlies, unless their tax bill skyrocketed. And they are locked in with nowhere to go, used to be you used your properties as a stepping stone but not anymore. Its funny that I keep hearing people that own and have a low rate praising the market inflating their tax rate. They no know math. |

We paid it off in 7 years. I quit smoking in 1996 so at that time 25 a week for smokes went to pay mortgage down. Homes were cheap in 1992 compared to now.
The mortgage was not too high. So 125 a month x 12 = 1500 a year extra for the mortgage. NJ lets you pay it down without penalty. Our house is over 500k now a nice jump from 144k in 1992.

I can't believe we're only a month away from a cursory preseason teaser, and only six weeks away from unofficial football. To be honest, I haven't missed it. I'm glad that this thread has been largely active all off-season, happy to see you guys are enjoying it. But I just haven't had the heart heart for it.

Why reduce the reward for miners while elitising masternode owners. A big lump of feces can be pasted in the middle of this business model and no one would tell the difference between poop and this strategy in the form it is outlined above. Miners would converge into big cartels and riot rumbustiously with aggressive demands to make their reward commensurate to the quantity of sweat they spent minting the coins.

I completely forgot that we plan to expand the main league from 10 to 12. It would have been convenient to have both leagues on the same platform, however, i'm not sure how 12 and 10 (the free best ball league on Yahoo is locked at 10) would work. There's plenty of time to figure it out i guess. Nonetheless, having two leagues isn't a must, i just thought it might be fun, draft and forget.

Sleeper app might be a good alternative for the best ball league, it's fully customizable (i was able to test it last night, we can match the settings from the main league), and besides Sleeper has the best design/UI of all fantasy platforms out there.
I checked out sleeper last year and their stats were incorrect and I messaged the devs on it and never heard back from them and checked the stats a month later and they were still wrong and haven't bothered to check again since then. I saw a couple news articles about Colin Kaepernick trying to stay relevant & wanting to get picked up this year -- at age 35 & more than 6 years out of the league. The best comment was he should have tried to play in the XFL or USFL to remind people he can still play... he didn't exactly go out with a bang in terms of performance.  Yeah, thats right! WhyTF didn't Kaepernick play either of those leagues to showcase hes not a has been? Huge missed opportunity unless he is so out of shape he just wants a 3rd string bench seat and a pay check. I also got an email from yahoo saying our league would be auto renewed but havn't read the email yet. I didnt know they had to be renewed. |

that'd interest me as well.. KuCoin and Poloniex seem to be somewhat trustworthier but they can demand KYC at any time. Poloniex has low volume though. Poloniex stole and dumped my coins at AYL and sent the funds to my states treasury when I refused to agree with their TOS after Goldman ballsacks bought them so yeah no. Have no clue about Kucoin. |

Wasn't aware it got picked up again. 2016,17,18 and 2019 all had a series released and then nothing. A sixth series was commissioned in 2022 and was released on 15 June 2023. I'm off to watch Season 6. |

Damn, I have not read this thread for some time since real life has been kind of intense lately and I even missed the whole draft for the first time in like 30 years or so, and even if the activity on the thread has been on the low side I am surprised to see NFTs could become part of our new league.
All what I can say about it is if that is the direction that we will take then I am all-in.
And about whether to have a 10 or 12 player league, @seek3r showed interest on joining the league some time ago, if they are still interested we may only need one more person to reach 12 players this season.
Same for me. Didn't show up here for months.. Thanks for tagging! I'm still interested but bear with me I will ask some questions because I am an absolute noob in building these fantasy teams  Questions get answered but remember you get what you pay for! |
