I Like this project a lot, cause what it can do is great for other coins and awesome for spread aswell.
With fullnodes beeing pulled daily this can grow huge.
But im almost certain that Georgem is not capable to achief this alone, this coin is not going anywere cause
it got a lack of control and developers, ofcourse Georgem might wanna do everything alone, but this is serieus taking
way and way to long.
No matter how good a developer might be he needs a serieus and dedicated team to achief goals and make constant progress.
Were not even at breakthrough "1" that is presentated how long ago a year ?
And when i read back the post he is all over the place "hes miners" "miner software" "Server nodes" "New wallet".
He promise updates and then never release them ? Assign some people for PR there are a lot around for ages here willing to bring
out some updates now and then it doesnt cost you any work.
But instead you wanna do it all yourself ? Or is there something we dont know come on buddy sort this things and be great after.

Main developer got back from a trip, will be talking with him about starting the Qrowdfunds here ASAP. Once these have been finished, that's when the REAL announcements will begin, and the roadmap will be structured and announced. As of right now we're just planning, working and planning.  Yea and do you think that is smart ? Asking for money without even knowing what it will be used for ? Will this crowdfunding impact the current token ? |

How is the development going? Are the decentralized blockexplorer online already ?

I just were reading more about the coin and looks like were still not at breakthrough 1 ? Georgem is there a reason why your not looking for additional developers to speed up the process, cause the biggest feature would be the bitcoin node support. That can make this coin really great and fun for many people. |

Will the testnet be still live the 30th July?
I have an important talk tomorrow so please forgive me that I was so quiet in the last days. While it is pretty tough to get everything working flawlessly until the 30th I think that we are really close to launch the testnet. I would say that it's realistic to get a testnet working by let's say 4. August which is in about a week. I will give the promised status update tomorrow after I am done with my talk. Have to get back to polishing my slides now. Your doing a great job now, at first i was a little sceptic about the coin, but its looking really good now, thx for the hard work. |

It's pretty troubling that there is no blockchain explorer.
I've noted unnatural market movements for months now. Just somebody straight up dropping 100 BTC into buy orders like they don't give 2 cents about FCT despite a rather large position and why could that be? Almost like they got it for free and it's all profit regardless. Because no investor would do this over and over because it's just stupid. So that leaves creators.
So where's that Blockchain explorer Factom? Are you dumping coins on us? How much have you sold? I'm losing patience with this obfuscated source code and non existent blockchain explorer and this non friendly wallet.
hoping we get an answer to these questions too Lol dont expect any answers here i can tell you that already, mostly Tempus is more helpfull then the whole Factom team all together. |

Because today I sold part of factoids and bought Ethereum. Big guts to buy eth now, with all those issues with ETC etc. Also if your the one who sold like 30k plus then you got less then you should for every coin, and i thank you for more cheap coins. Next time if you wanna sell a lot try pm me i might buy for a better price then you will get from selling into the market. By the way on the exchange I have not lost anything. I will make a profit on ETC and in the future will buy factoids again, but more of it than I sell now. By the way today I have sold only 80k FCT coins. I Doubt that you will buy more FCT later with the same amount of money, ETH now at 0.0205 and FCT at 0.00217 Just so we can look at it in a week |

Yup it makes no sense. But the selling pressure has been decreasing everyday. Once there was good news it went from 400K to 600K, now it's almost back to 400K again. The only thing that remains to be seen now is if the market accurately reacts and prices in the recent developments or not. Stronger hands take over, also i think that Factom is beeing manipulated a lot with 100 btc can you can force the market a dirrection. Also i think a lot of the sells last few days were from people who wanted to invest in factom and sold coins for that. |

Like i said many times, great development team, great future, but they really are in lack of social media, updates etc. Been like that for ages. Also i cant understand why they can not just update people with there progress. We dont need it will be launches at xxxxx , but they can give details like what stage they are in, plans etc. Specialy if your already months late. |

Interesting, the Factom team at the remain support ETH (Ethereum) blockchain or go to the ETC (Ethereum Classic) blockchain? Etherum classic is just another attempt by another alternative dev team to make some quick money. The market has showed what it thinks about the coin. Huge dump yesterday, 100% down price. It ll continue going down until it dies. (...) Funny, Ethereum classic is "just another attempt by another alternative dev team to make some quick money"? You seem to believe it's a clone-Coin, but it's just Ethereum! It's Ethereum without the DAO-bailout! And it's Ethereum without money backing and it's Ethereum without backing of the market. So, of course the price crashed. That was clear before and those who are behind knew that. If you want to criticize attempts of making money, my advice would be: Focus on TheDao and why it even existed in that way and on the question if there would have been a bail out if theDAO would've been just a $1 Mio Smart Contract-fail, instead of an overhyped $150 Mio too-big-too-fail-monster. And yes, most likely ETC has not much chances. But it won't die any time soon. And in the opposite it's not a high price that indicates that Ethereum is healthy. The more I think about it all and about potential intentions behind the rushed out DAO and how it was funded and why the price immediately fell below it's funding-marketcap after launch and before the hack, and if the ETH-market is backed and manipulated by big money or not - the more I believe there could be even more issues that are not seen, yet. But even if the market should be not backed, they did something that shows priorities. To do a Hard Fork to bail out an application - that's not trivial. This is a very interesting article about it: The unfinished state of Ethereum should have been made clear to its investors – and those who invested in the DAO – up front. No way is it ethical to persuade people to invest large amounts of money in a product whose key selling point is its immutability, then when it goes wrong claim that it wasn’t ready for release and needs to be changed. (...) The problem with deciding that Ethereum, and by extension the DAO, are still in development (rollbacks are part of life), is that they are in fact live as far as their users are concerned. Never mind the code, the problem is the data. Data in a live financial system should not be changed. That is true even in existing financial systems. It's something especially you could learn something out of it with your complaints about the M2-delay. Maybe it's better not to rush out releases because of a focus on short-term-priorities (money now!). That can damage everything it is about in long-term. But of course, it's all right as long as the ETH-price is high, right. ;-) If I would like to criticize attempts of making money, my first target would be Factom! Not cause it s making money but cause it aint. The price s been more less static since the last major pump and the market does not seem to respond to these tiny updates and presentations we ve been receiving during the last couple of months. So, M2 s the only thing which can move the market, one way or another. Cause when Ether team promises a fork and set it up for a particular date and block, THIS HAPPENS. With Factom, it s always around the corner. About the price, the market, via it s perception of the price, is the only real determinant of value of particular coin or token. The fact Ether is almost 10x the price of Factom, even after this DAO charade, can tell you what the market thinks about Ether vs Factom. You or I can hope and wish for things to be different. However, in the end, it all comes down to the market, right. Why do people keep comparing Factom with Ethereum ? We can also compare factom with bitcoin, but there all diffrent things. With a complete diffrent purpose. Beside that Eth is worth much more then x10, cause you better look at market cap instead of coin price otherwise the equivelant aint right to measure. Im happy were almost what it looks like in M2, but i hope soon we can get a update on how far it really is, cause it can also be ready and that they going to test it for a month. I tryed to tweet to Paul snow if he can give a update to the less technical people around. Also its nice that the Entry's starting to increase a little again. |

If they dont release it soon, we might see a correction comming, it just aint possible to break the 240 levels properly.
