Follow these instructions:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

If you need help with signing a message read here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0

Take some time, and look through the "last posts of this person" on the locked account to find a post
that has a btc/altcoin address posted. You will need it to verify your ownership. Goodluck!!!
542  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much is 1 bitcoin worth? on: January 28, 2018, 03:13:23 PM
You can find price conversions on sites like THIS . From there you can find the conversion
you are looking for, and much more information as well. The value changes by the minute. Keep in mind
that it has always done this, and is totally in the nature of Cryptocurrency to do so. Over the last week or so
the price has been averaging right around 11,000usd.

543  Other / Meta / Re: why i can't login on: January 28, 2018, 02:22:05 PM
The main problem with getting accounts unlocked is ...
can you advise me how else i can unlock my account?
acting on the scenario described here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0, I do not get any reaction, just silence.

You can try posting the signed message, and the link to the address posted before it was hacked, here in this thread.
You can resign with the current date, and I can try to VERIFY it. If it does VERIFY I will post that it does. After that, you
can change the name of your thread to something like: Attn Admin/Mod- Recovery Proof Inside.

Hopefully by doing this, you will get noticed better. Remember, I Am NOT a Mod, I'm just helping out.
544  Other / Meta / Re: why i can't login on: January 27, 2018, 08:12:01 PM
I don't get it. You are required to set an email address when you create an account here.
Isn't that enough for account recovery?
If not what else is required?

The email cannot prove you are the owner of your account. By "staking" or posting your address in a thread,
it sets a "marker" in your timeline. You can still prove you are the owner of that address after a hack or email
theft. Using that "address  marker" as your reference of ownership, and signing a message from the address
with a current date is about as Genuine as you can be.

The main problem with getting accounts unlocked is lack of support time, meaning the Mods and Admin of
this Forum are overwhelmed with the lack of Time to Verify accounts. Much-needed time is wasted on the
policing of Spammers who are here just for the sake of posting to get paid, which causes all of the distracting
clutter in most of the Boards. It is these same degenerates who prey on higher profile accounts looking to
hack or steal them. That's why it is important to secure your account by "staking" your address.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: monero mining to kraken on: January 27, 2018, 07:38:01 PM
This section is not for Altcoins. You can move this thread to the Alt mining section for quick answers.
There is an option to move it in the lower left corner of YOUR post. Goodluck!!!
546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: #Coding Tutorials, AI Tutorials, Bitcoin development Tutorials FREE!# on: January 27, 2018, 07:26:14 PM
It is very refreshing to see such a nice contribution! I will definitely take some time to check out your series.
Keep up the good work, and Goodluck!!!
547  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Was mining always this difficult to get into? on: January 27, 2018, 03:18:47 PM
I first "stumbled" across  BTC while looking for a second HD 7950 in late 2014. As I researched more, I quickly liked
the idea of having a tech hobby that could generate a self sustainable income: Mining.  As I researched what I would
need to get started, I began to see I was too late in the game with my 7950's. In fact, one mining tech advancement,
had come and gone already: FPGA. It was just moments after, I learned ASIC mining was the Standard.

As I researched ASIC mining, I started to design my home mining setup. In early 2015, I joined this forum to gather
advice from people who had already been through the Rabbit Hole. Most of the advice I got was: TURN BACK NOW!
At that time BTC was hovering right around  $200usd. I purchased  $20 on a dip at $170, to learn transactions and
securing my wallet. I was very optimistic (still) about setting up to mine, even though most people said to stop
mining at home. The big companies at the time were shifting toward "server style" miners like the Spondoolies
SP 30/ and up series.

I was not discouraged by this, Bitmain was still making miners with a much smaller footprint. With a few of them
I could set out to do what I wanted to do: Have a self sustainable hobby. I wasn't interested in the " my set up is big"
race, that would eventually become a corporate monster. I was interested in the "community" of grassroots home
mining, where customer support was research and helpful advice from people, like SOME people here.

However, as I waited with money in hand for the 2015 Q1 release of what would be my new set up, my family and I
were struck with disaster: A mid winter House Fire. My hobbies took a back seat to some seriously major priorities.
As our home was being rebuilt, I continued to keep an eye on BTC, randomly watching the price.

I had a lot of "tests" in the last few years,  and I was teetering on the Idea of cashing out my $20 investment, which
had now grown considerably larger. BUT.....I could not let go of the idea of being involved in a community of people
who have a shared interest, and the idea of having a self sustainable hobby that ACTUALLY has a purpose. So, I did
what some would call crazy: I CASHED OUT!

I used my $20 investment to purchase 2 miners, that are going to be the foundation of what I set out to do: Mining.
There are still scammers, ponzi schemes, and worst of all: The Naysayers! The negative flow of their opinions can
easily be washed away with the TRUE members of this community! We will always have ups and downs, but at the
end of the day, help and a pleasant conversation is just a click away. Follow YOUR ideas, and enjoy the rewards!

It's not Difficult.......
548  Other / Meta / Re: Access to old account locked on: January 27, 2018, 01:57:44 PM
I cannot read what it says in your screenshot, but if it's locked from an attempted hack or inactivity, follow
these instructions:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

If you need help with signing a message read here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0

Find your locked account in the "search members" area and on that account profile, click "last posts of this person".
You need to find an address YOU posted BEFORE the account was locked.

These requirements are the best way to prove that you are indeed the account owner, and are standard procedure
here. Goodluck!!!
549  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolinminer & Whatsminer FAQs on: January 24, 2018, 09:35:24 AM
In my last exchange of emails from Pangolinminer,  they had asked me what browser I used for my screenshot.
I explained to them I tried the website on, IE, Chrome, and Mozilla, all with the same results. (Note: I also used
3 different devices, but forgot to mention that to them.) I also expressed my concern about logging into their
site to check up on my oreder, and below is the reply I received:

Hello,

Sorry that recently we have updated our server, there's changes in hosting IP.

In this case, some 3rd party may recognize this change as "unsafe changes".

So you may experience some warning if the security level is quite high from your side.

Pls try to check your order status next week, or you can tell me your order number, we will update you here.

We apologize for your inconvenience.
550  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ducting on: January 23, 2018, 08:31:57 PM
Foam board, or any foam for that matter does not "deaden" sound. It only controls echos of higher frequency sounds
(like drum cymbals or above the 12th guitar solos). Materials like mass loaded vinyl or Rock wool based insulation
"deaden" sounds. A much cheaper option is double layered drywall/rockwall. Or venting out into a box that has
a "maze" inside it. The box needs to be big enough to allow a good flow through it ofcourse.
551  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolinminer & Whatsminer FAQs on: January 22, 2018, 09:44:15 AM
Pangolinminer miner replied to my email about their websites Antivirus problem. They requested
a screenshot, and I supplied one. I also advised them to look at this thread to see more concerns,
and screenshots.

When I looked for some info on the matter, I saw on scamadvisor dot com, that their server
(which hosts many other web sites as well) had been reported as compromised. However, it does
not say who reported it, and for what reasons, or WHAT COMPONENT  WAS COMPROMISED.
They just have a severe warning indicator about the Malware URL/ Phishing on the site.

I tried my computer at work yesterday, after seeing this problem earlier in the morning, and that
machine had no AV problem with the site. However, it is a turd running XP with Panda AV. I just
wanted to try from a different machine, but I still didn't try to log in to my account.
552  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ducting on: January 21, 2018, 10:32:46 PM
Very nice! I too am using the 6 inchers, on both sides though. I'm in the middle of building a Small room in my basement,
where I will draw in cool air from outside, and vent the heat into my HVAC system. In the warmer months, I will draw in the
cool basement air, and vent the HOT air out a window. On a 90 degree F day, the basement is about 65 degrees F.

Have you ,or do you, use any type of dust filter?
553  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolinminer & Whatsminer FAQs on: January 21, 2018, 09:13:26 AM
It's the same for me as well. I sent an email to them to see if I get an explanation. They probably
have no idea what is happening, since they are never active on weekends. I recommend not
signing into your account until it's fixed!

Edit: My AV says Pangolinminer was reported as a Phishing site.
554  Other / Meta / Re: Recover my hero account on: January 19, 2018, 09:27:14 PM
Message Verifies!

Hopefully, a Mod might be able to help, depending on the situation of course. It will take awhile to get the Admins to get
to your PM. I would suggest "bumping" this thread once a day to keep it fresh in their minds. Hope you get it back!!!
Goodluck!!!
555  Other / Meta / Re: account is locked because it sat inactive for years after the password hashes we on: January 19, 2018, 09:20:14 PM
It says you were last active in December 2017, so someone logged in. You might want to see if you can sign a message
from one of the addresses in the following posts that you made with the account:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=450381.msg5786314#msg5786314

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=454186.msg5370061#msg5370061

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=450053.msg5231306#msg5231306

This will help you understand how to sign a message, but you'll have to use one of your ALT coin wallets to do it:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0

Goodluck!!!
556  Other / Meta / Re: My original account locked on: January 19, 2018, 09:09:48 AM
The directions in that thread apply to any crypto address you can sign a message from,
if it had been posted before the account was hacked/locked.

Quote
Bitcoin wallet: 1L7CqfBakR2xmrPNsHCiXxZnMmSdAKjnz
It is possible that it was specified in the profile.

Quote
There is no point in writing there... To be only supporting bitcoin signed messages. I do not have this message.
Bitcoin I almost do not use. I'm using Ethereum

If you don't use it, why bother posting an address at all?
557  Other / Meta / Re: My original account locked on: January 18, 2018, 08:36:05 PM
You will need to follow the directions here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

You will also need to sign a message with one of you addresses. If you need help with that read here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0

Take note: Your request to have it unlocked will take awhile. It is very clear that you use the account only for one
purpose: Making Money. You may want to consider the way you post on this forum, and actually contribute.
There are some people here who do not like posts that do not Help, or contribute. For this reason, your request
MAY be overlooked. Goodluck!!!

P.S.

Get a Job.
558  Other / Meta / Re: my account got hacked by anyone, n email has changed on: January 17, 2018, 08:34:34 PM
Did you still has access to your old address? If yes then try to sign message and send to admin.
If you dont know how to do it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

Tutor for signing address in case if you dont know how to sign address https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0
no, i can't access my old account
i have sent message to cyrus n theymos, but still no response

I think what he means by "access your account" is can you find it on here by searching for it in the members section. You need to go
through the "last posts of this person" to find a post where you posted your address before it was hacked. They need this post to verify
that YOU are the original owner of the account.

Also, if you do not provide a signed message to theymos or cyrus, your PM will probably be ignored. You will need to provide ALL of this
information to have your account retrieved.

559  Other / Meta / Re: Hacked account recovery on: January 16, 2018, 09:49:50 PM
theta1's signed message is good. I verified it before, but I do not see the other thread it was in.
Probably removed because of this thread. Hopefully someone can look into this soon, and the many other accounts like
this. It would be nice if the forum would allow a "team" of volunteers to work on this issue. I'd sign up for it, and try
to clear some space on this board.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining rig frame on: January 15, 2018, 09:32:21 PM
Grin hello all
i have purchased everything for my mining rig and all thats left is the frame.
i`ve checked how to make one but im not very good when it comes to DIY, i was wondering what is the best way to make a frame out of something else? instead of from scratch.
i saw some ppl transformed wooden tables flipped upside down and just added one or two more wooden sticks in.

i could always buy one prebuilt, but i`ve sunk all my funds into my hardware already! im broke right now and i really dont want to waste 1 month waiting for my next payday Sad

any tips or advice would be much appreciated, and i hope this is in the right forum section

"Back in the day", some people would use milk crates, or other similar shaped containers with openings around the outsides. You can pretty much
use anything that you can stabilize the GPU's to. I'd go to the nearest "lumber yard" and grab some 1"x2" stock. Find a frame blueprint on google
and slap it together with some cheap screws. It really isn't a lot of work, and it's about $20usd in cost.

Move this over to the ALT mining section and get some quick answers. There is an option to move it in the bottom left corner of YOUR post.

Goodluck!!!
