Okay. 4:1 aspect ratio sounds pretty good for a website. Probably 400 pixels wide would be good, but that detail would depend on the page design and layout. Thanks.

Is the clear capsule sealed shut or just pressed together (and can be opened)?
I'd like to order one of these without the gift box, if that's possible. I'm tempted to order now, but I'll wait until I hear back from you on skipping the gift box.
Thanks.

I have a couple ideas for a logo. If I can find some time tonight, I might have a shot at one. What are your size requirements for the main logo?

There really needs to be a way to re-submit a transaction with a different (larger) fee, and have the previous transaction(s) ignored.
There is. It just isn't implemented in the mainline client. The protocol supports multiple versions for the same transaction. I did not know that. Thank you.

Maybe the were a bit too optimistic. People make mistakes. That's life.
Or you could say they lied and misled people. Depends on how you look at it.

Thanks for the clarification mndrix.

Another question for ineededausername:
What if I posted exactly on 2012-06-01 00:00:00 (according to the forum, basically posting before 00:00:01)? Does this qualify as "before"?
Why would that be "before?" Before is equivalent to "<" not "<=". (On that note, does English have a word for <= when it comes to time? ) up to and including <time> ??

Sounds like you have evaluated your risk. I wish you the best of luck.

Meh, on the other hand you can tone it down. You've already said your piece. Richard is an adult; he can weigh your advice and make his own decision.

Often, people will bid up an auction far beyond the actual value of the item just to prove that they are power bidders to hopefully deter people from bidding against them in the future. So which one were you? :p

In all fairness, I should note that a bitcoin has gone for more than $6 USD there, but also for less than $0.50. It's just hard to tell which one you will get.
|

So we can pay $6+ for a bitcoin? Hmmm.

What good is this? If you were working on a way that hams could transact over radio links without Internet access, I could see the value in it, even though actual hams couldn't ever use it due to the prohibition on business transactions. I still can't imagine a use case, though. But to encode a bitcoin address, URI or even an entire transaction into a modulated audio stream seems entirely useless to me.
Entirely useless? Check. Totally awesome? Check.

I have just called them again, and asked for a more specific written statement along the lines of "we authorize you to sell coupons redeemable for bitcoin using PayPal." This is now in the works. The PayPal agent claims he will get back to me within 24 hours.
You should read up on what happened to coinpal. They had permission from a Paypal customer service representative, yet Paypal shut them down anyway (and took $5k from the owner's Paypal acct.).

Let's sing:
Come they told me, pa rum pum pum pum

Well, now why didn't I think of that?
|
|
|
I think now would be the time to sell all the BTC I bought at $2.09?
|
|
|
It would be a gargantuan task to create it and get enough people on board for critical mass, but if we did it, it just might work.
