541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tricky situation for Altcoin investment on: November 06, 2023, 02:37:37 PM
they need to consider total supply of Altcoin and calculate it with the price they expect it to reach and think if it's even possible. I would suggest sticking to top Altcoin and Bitcoin.

Please share your opinions on common mistake newbie makes when market trends upward.

Yeah, Total supply is the most important part to consider valuation of the altcoin. Trader needs to check this carefully since most of the ATH always occur when the circulating supply of the altcoins is low. Assuming that the altcoin will reach the same ATH on bullrun while there’s big difference already on total supply is a big mistake.

There’s an exception to this when the project show a promising feature that makes investors value it more than the typical price to supply ratio. Doge is the best example on this case since it has unlimited supply yet it’s price is same with other altcoins that has lower supply.
542  Economy / Economics / Re: New business idea. on: November 06, 2023, 02:17:46 PM

this information shows how the demands of the graundnut oil is in my country today is.
You can also watch a little on how to manufacture the graundnut oil, I can even invest more if I have this business and start making more money, so what are your takes in this idea?

Kudos on sharing this information globally since this new to me because palm oil is the most popular oil production here in my country. There’s no demand for this kind of oil since this is new and I’m not aware that peanut can be use as an alternative oil.

I believe it will be helpful if you can provide details in the post about the advantage of this oil compared to other oil industry especially on country that already have mass production of different oil such as palm oil.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice for new comers on: November 06, 2023, 01:23:40 PM
What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling? Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?

Simply deposit only what you can afford to lose. Bet only small percentage of your bankroll and never increase your bet to an insane percentage whenever you are experiencing lose streak because you can still recover if you will just play the same and stay focus since the game has only minimal house edge.

Just make sure you are still enjoying while playing or else just stop gambling because the purpose of gambling to make you entertained by the time you play. Profit will just follow if you are consistent on your game and doesn’t subject to any abnormal increase of bet when tilted.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: November 06, 2023, 01:00:37 PM
There are a lot of people looking to gamble because they don't have enough money. Everyone thinks that gambling is the fastest way to make money. I was no exception. When you first start gambling. I want to earn enough money to spend on family activities. But I was wrong. I lost quite a bit of my savings thinking there would be rewards in this game. Now, I realize that gambling should only be for entertainment and not a place for us to earn income.
It's normal for people to think that gambling is the fastest way to make money. But after people try it, they see that what they want cannot come true.
Instead, they experience loss after loss and spend all their money on gambling. And if that's the case, they won't be able to make any money and will even lose all their money.
And gambling is just entertainment for those who want to enjoy gambling games using a little money. After all, we are not required to use a lot of money to enjoy the fun of gambling.
We can gamble with enough money so that we won't lose a lot.

This is why every casino responsible gambling terms always mention that play only what you can afford to lose. Playing gambling just because you don’t have enough money is really a bad idea since all gambling games is designed to make casino in profit in the end.

Casino industry will not boom and continuously on profit side if their games doesn’t have any house edge advantage. It’s true that you can enjoy gambling using small amount of money. I think you can achieve this playing only games that you really enjoy and not solely for the profit purposes. In my case, I always play live game show whenever I’m bored since this game offer a variety of bonus game that is really entertaining even though my bet amount is just small.
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s your strategy on high volatility slot game? on: November 06, 2023, 12:45:20 PM
Not all the games in casinos are for everyone to play. Do not understand me wrong, I just mean you should just choose the ones that you think that is best for you. As for me, I prefer to go for games that I believe will give me higher return with higher chances of winning. But it is casino, know that no games is not also risky, but if I see the risk not to go with the odd, I stop playing such game.

Very true. High volatility games are for those player that can endure initial losses until they hit the high multiplier to have a profit and recover part of their losses.

I’m not a hardcore slot player so I usually skip this kind of game and play only the games I’m comfortable with. Aiming higher multiplier means you are risking a lot since the percentage on hitting is very low. It’s high risk high reward game.

In an event that you hit early huge multiplier, do you still play using same game or you immediately switch different game?

I’m not sure if switching games will matter since the slot games result is always random. You can hit multiple big multiplier with short gap though. I believe it depends if you still enjoy playing that game or not before you switch.
546  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit Stealing $22k and Banning my Account on: November 05, 2023, 05:35:25 PM

I have no issue adding screenshots to my post, I was just unsure on how to and what formats were accepted. I receive crypto transactions from a variety of people as I re-sell CS:GO skins, some of-which went directly to my Rollbit account. I do remember the minute I received money from someone that I was logged out of my account and was met with the "KYC" prompt the following day which I quickly filled out and verified in order to continue using the site. With me being accused of hacking peoples wallets and "SIM Swapping" into a 4-5 month long investigation, I genuinely feel disgusted that I am being accused of committing a federal crime, not to mention the amount of time it took for me to get a single answer out of anybody. Razer, you never told me where to go in order to get help, despite the amount of tickets I opened. Is there any way to help finish my own "investigation" ?   Grin

Use talkimg.com to upload the screenshots then copy the bbcode link to your post to share image link here. You are still newbie so your post can’t show image but other user can quote it to make it visible.

Probably you might have a transaction from wallet that has a previous transaction too on other account that is already ban or committed violation of ToS. Casino is pretty strict in any hint of money laundering especially if the source of your Bitcoin has some record to them.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Demo vs Real slots on: November 05, 2023, 04:42:16 PM
The RTP in each type of slot game is always different and depends on the time you play it because for slot games I have quite a lot of experience that the RTP is quite high in the morning and midnight so this time will be concern if I want to play.

You are referring the Live RTP based on the actual spin count made by all players on each slot game because slot general RTP is always the same whenever what time you are playing as described on the slot game info before you play it.

I’m not really convinced the other players game result will give an effect to the RTP of the game you are playing since you are all playing with same RTP when you press spin button and each spin is independent to each other. I really think you are referring to live RTP as the general RTP of slot game which is wrong.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best advice or should I just let him on: November 05, 2023, 04:08:05 PM
if you are certain about him getting addicted and you are concerned, then do it, but think carefully about how you do it, like you said, senior citizens are very sensitive to criticism. you can also just inform one of his children about your concerns.

He is a senior citizen and he has nothing to lose aside from his daily or monthly pension which will not devastate his life since he has family to support him financially. He is not a teenager anymore so I’m sure that he is just enjoying since he doesn’t have someone to accompany him on his daily life.

You should not interfere on other hobby/entertainment if they are not asking for an advice because it’s their life and it’s his family matter. You have nothing to gain if you will interfere while you can be at bad terms on him if he didn’t like what you said. There’s no upside here so just ignore him as best option.
the OP did say that he is concerned that his neighbour is getting addicted. the problem with gambling addiction is not just about financial loss, it can also negatively affect your relationship with the people around you(like his family).
I understand your point here if the subject is not a senior citizen. What kind of damage to the family which a senior citizen can be done while he is just gambling on his own assuming you remove financial loss here? I assume that he is living on his own since this is the typical setup of senior citizen in my country so I’m not sure what kind of damage you are pertaining.

The subject here is an old guy probably has a lot of experience than us. Interfering others life might cause you a consequence which you can avoid if you just ignore unless you are a person who really want to dip on other personal problem then go on.

Should I give him advice on how to manage his gambling activities or I just let him since he is just enjoying his senior years and doing things that he missed doing when he was still young? and what's the right approach, we all know senior citizens are sensitive to criticism.

I think I can ignore that for now unless he starts borrowing or neglecting his health he is new to gambling but a senior citizen who wants to gamble for the rest of his life is something to be concerned about, we have a saying here that old people should behave like a dignified person, maybe this will come to pass since its new to him and has nothing to do the whole day.
I get the notion that it is bad to grow old alone with money coming to you without doing anything and then suddenly find gambling very interesting to indulge in, is it possible that he will be like this until the end or until he is very old and cannot walk, maybe gambling is doing great on his mentality like he is more focus and find it energetic only time can tell.

This is the right approach bro, Just observe first because I knew a lot of senior citizen that just using gambling as source of entertainment since most of their family is busy on their own life. Just help him if you knew that he is already showing sign of extreme addiction like what you said. But according to your description, He is just having fun since he have the money and I knew a lot of oldies playing gambling most of the time since they hangout with other senior citizens in there like the weekends bingo at mall.  Cheesy

Any updates on the Sherbet Bitcoin Price prediction contest? I just checked Round 1 to 4 contests, and no one has confirmed the prize payment. It's been more than 1 month since the Round 1 winner was declared, yet the prize hasn't been confirmed.

Could one of the winners kindly confirm whether you have received the prize?

We have reported the contest results to the finance department. Just waiting for the main management decision. We have also announced the winners of the 4th round of the contest

Regards,
Jt

Waiting for decision? Does this means that there’s a chance that you will change the payment result? Your statement might cause a commotion here if the rewards is really not finalized before you start the contest.

I didn’t participate on the contest but I’m curious on what game needs to be wager the reward? Is there any specific game such as slot that wager of the money will be counted because I read on terms that you have different wagering count depending on the games played.

551  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: November 04, 2023, 02:37:42 PM
My experience is just as you have said it, my problem with casino tokens is that, they mostly lack basic utilities that is needed to get them up on price, and even as good as holding them gives the holder some special bonuses from the casino that owns the token, casino tokens are still not ideal for long term hodling, as their prices often fall to the group never to come up again, especially when they are done listing the token on as many exchanges as they have planned for and can afford the listing fees.

But then, let's wait and see what this casino have in the pipeline, probably they must have done their research on other casino tokens and how they are performing so badly in the market, and have put plans in place to make sure theirs doesn't end up like the like of owl.games token(OWL) and BFG from BetFury.

The difference of this upcoming token to the typical casino token is that this casino token is a the form of airdrop not purchased by investors during IDO. I believe casino tokens will serve as reward token only for all the players who will play like rakeback rewards.

This way of token distribution will not be subjected to a lot of demand for utility since it will be given for free to all the loyal players in the casino. I believe it’s like JET tokens of coins.game which you can just convert it to any crypto currency once you get it from their bonuses.
So what you are telling me now is that, this token won't be listed on any exchange, and that it can't be traded anywhere?

That those who will be lucky enough to get the tokens through the coming airdrop won't be able to sell it directly to other people, but can only convert it to other crypto currency inside the casino if they want?

And that people can not be able to buy the tokens from anywhere, but can only earn it for free through the casino based on their gambling activities on the casino?

Well, if the answer to all the questions I asked be yes, then it's really a good idea. But unfortunately, I don't think the answer is yes,, but let's just watch and see.

I didn’t said that, You are the only one make assumption with that feature probably due to my lack of further explanation to my comment.  Cheesy, What I just want to emphasize here that this token will be different to the typical casino token like BFG and OWL because they have different approach of distribution. Meaning the main purpose of this token will be for rewarding players not the typical feature of Staking feature by other casino token.

There’s a possibility that the token will be listed on DEX but I’m just concerned to the liquidity pool of the token since there’s no investors money to be use on the LP which typically the money from IDO.

It will be great if Shuffle will provide initial liquidity of this token on DEX from their own pocket.

552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Demo vs Real slots on: November 04, 2023, 02:30:26 PM
Demo games are meant only for new comers to test the casino and it must have beeinbmade in a way to entice them into just giving the real game a chance.

Additionally, demo mode is for those user who want to try first the slot games before they start playing the real one regardless if the user is newbie.

Sometimes when I don’t have money in my account and still want to just gamble I normally switch to demo and at the end of the game I’ll notice so many wins and even some that I have never bee in opportuned to win when I’m in the real game: so if you’re new to the site and after playing the demo you noticed a high amount of win you’d just want to give the real game a chance hoping you’ll make the same amount you did during the demo.

I do this too most of the time but not when my balance is zero but rather when I’m too pissed off on my slot games for not hitting any bonus game while I spend a lot of spin already. I always use demo mode to satisfied my cravings for hitting bonus buy instead of buying it with real money since I know that bonus buy is very volatile.

554  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Mga Dapat Iwasan At Tandaan Kung Sasali Sa Mga Airdrop on: November 04, 2023, 10:22:32 AM

555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conclusion after losing millions! that games are rigged. on: November 03, 2023, 05:54:32 PM
Here's a example what happens with me:
When I bet big suddenly on crash game on stake it every time stops and seems like the computer is thinking about results after waiting for sometimes i bust at 1x to 1.10x, I would had believed that it is random when this incident happens with me once or twice but it happened with me more than 10 times, I betted my all funds but every time on crash it waits and think to how to bust me on short time.

House game on Stake can be verified the fairness. I doubt they will rigged the game while they can be caught cheating through their probably fair system.

You only feel this because you bet big. You will notice everything if you are wagering what you can’t afford to lose since you will just ignore that bust bet if you only bet a penny on that round. Your luck is just bad at the time you choose to increase your bet. Check your bet history, You will notice that experience tons of this kind of early busy multiplier but you just not paying much attention on it because the amount involved is too small.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop the self entitlement claims on others gamblers winnings. on: November 03, 2023, 05:42:15 PM
Getting to X  (twitter) some people started dragging and criticizing the gambler and calling him names, that the N100k he gave to the punters out of N15.5M he had won was too small and that he could have done better. Below in the image  is one of many tweets from the critics.

This is a norm now since freedom of speech is already popular due to social media. I’m sure you knew that people have different preferences and attitudes which means we can have different approaches on a given scenario. Social makes people entitled to say their opinion so there’s always unsatisfactory comment on any post on social media on whatever topic it is.

Freedom of speech won’t make them stop and we should just leave them since they don’t represent the general public. Giving part of the winning no matter what the amount is already a good gesture of appreciation since other people won’t give you money when you lose tho.
557  Economy / Speculation / Re: back in 2015 we had a nice pre 1/2 ing streak. on: November 03, 2023, 03:55:34 PM

If we do the 2015 pattern from sept to dec we will rock 2 more months.

35000 x 1.21 = 42350 by dec 1
42350 x 1.1375 = 48173 by jan 1.

opinons and guesses?

I’m very new here when this happened and I remember I created my forum account because I’m curious why Bitcoin is pumping hard that time until I learn what’s Bitcoin halving. I believe Bitcoin will follow same pattern considering how the potential ETF approval gives us a huge hype while halving is already in few months.

The pump during pre halving is imminent but what I’m curious more if this pump will continue until the new ATH after the halving since there’s always a huge correction after huge event like this.
558  Economy / Gambling / Re: Evolution — report for Q3 (HOW THEY EARN THAT MUCH?) on: November 03, 2023, 03:51:02 PM
Their games are fair in the sense that they officially have an advantage over players, and they are not hiding it. Their profit is only telling us about how many gamblers are using their products, I don't understand why do you think it implies they are cheating. Like other people said in this thread, they don't need to cheat because they are making big money legally. Why risk your license?
I agree with you, they certainly don't rig their games. But I'm not sure they are always as fair as they could be. For example when they offer games with multipliers like lightning Roulette, Baccarat, BJ, etc. Why they don't use real dices, a physical wheel or a provably fair scheme in order to draw the multipliers? They just appear on a screen and nobody knows how and when they've been draw. Using a physical or provably fair tool would prevent them from offering smaller multipliers when more players are playing, when players have made big winnings or when the remaining shoe is not in favor of the house for example.

Can’t argue with this. Probably they do this so that they can timing the highest multiplier to the least amount of bets which they will reward the lucky hit or else their game will be not profitable at all.

Best example is how crazy time multiplier becomes low now compared when it was initially introduced. Before, Crazy multiplier is frequently above x100 but now you can get as low as x2 even on bonus game like coinflip and pachinko which is sucks due to the probability of hitting this bonus game.

I have tons of brutal bet like this especially on Blackjack and Slot games. I list some below.

  • Double down at 11 and hit Ace.
  • When my card is 20 and the dealer open card is 6 that later on turns to 21 after too many low card.
  • Place a huge side bet while the new player sit beside me get the max win on side instead of me because I switch sit.
  • Auto spin a 1mbtc bet on a volatile slot games.

560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: November 02, 2023, 02:07:50 PM

What was the intention of the article? Who wrote the article?
The site is ltccasino, and probably they are targeting Stake streamers, so that readers could play on this casino instead of Stake (which mentioned streamers are advertising).

This article does not have a 100% intention to inform, but to steal players from another casino.

Correct, I’m confused why the article focus much on proving that streamer is doing fake game as popular while the real intention of streaming is to entertain user by watching the streamer playing the game regardless if they are using real money or not since the reaction of streamers is makes this kind of stream popular and not the money alone since anyone can use fake and stream but they can’t guarantee that there will be a viewers if the streamer doesn’t have pleasing personality.
