541  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-e ACCOUNT Suspended and IP Banned on: February 13, 2014, 09:01:00 PM
So apparently i've been talking to btc-e.support on skype but the real one is supposed to be support.btc-e??? OR am i wrong. Someone help
BTCe has no skype support anymore. Only their ticket system, twitter, and account here on the forums. Be very careful connecting to people via skype for any Bitcoin related business.
542  Economy / Speculation / Re: silk road 2 hacked on: February 13, 2014, 08:32:47 PM
wait a second - how the hell would this vulnerability allow withdrawing unlimited amount of bitcoins?

if you withdraw coins and dupe the TX with a wrong hash you are not getting double coins in any way and why would a marketplace then refund the customer? it doesn't make any sense.

if you deposit coins and dupe the TX with a wrong hash then you may see "unconfirmed" coins under your balance that will never get any confirmations.

explain me if I misunderstand anything here
I'm guessing it happened with mutating the tx ids.

User requests withdrawal
Wallet sends funds, user mutates tx
wallet checks tx, cant find it, resends funds or credits user's account.
rinse/repeat

Just a guess, no clue how viable that really would be.

My btc hit my Kryptokit wallet since my last post and then instantly vanished.  wtf is going on?  btc-e claims my problem is fixed.  I'm freaking out!!
Possibly reversing back to your btce wallet? For what its worth, btce support replied with 'Hello. Fixed." to me an hour and a half ago as well, and i still have nothing in that wallet nor back in my btce account.
yeah, they replied "fixed" to me too, about an hour ago, and nothing yet.  Maybe that wallet address belongs to them.

Do you see any transaction to your address?
Nope. My transaction was never broadcast to the blockchain. It processed out of BTCe and vanished.

I'm sure it works.
545  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinabul owes me $ and is not responding on: February 13, 2014, 07:22:41 PM
Coinabul has also been removed from the #bitcoin-otc banner on IRC by the admins.

Nada.
548  Other / Off-topic / Re: [ActiveMining] Active Miners Anonymous Support (AA) Thread [Heavily Moderated] on: February 13, 2014, 05:38:23 PM
I appreciate that, but Theymos will do it if warranted. I'm just saying that's an option for those that were swindled. Ultimately I hope you guys band together, take action, and recover your funds. Best of luck to all involved.
549  Other / Off-topic / Re: [ActiveMining] Active Miners Anonymous Support (AA) Thread [Heavily Moderated] on: February 13, 2014, 05:25:31 PM
You guys should let your voices be heard and leave not only negative trust on his profile, but also PM Theymos requesting he receive a scammer tag. Theymos is incredibly busy, but he will respond and do the proper thing.
550  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 13, 2014, 04:56:50 PM
At what point does this farce officially qualify to be deemed a SCAM?

How do we go about getting a scammer tag on kenslaghter?
Only members with default/green trust can leave that automatic red trust. I have gone ahead and left a negative trust review on kslaughter's profile to help warn any future investors.

I know I have been callous in my attempts to help some of you see the light, but I am truly sorry for everyone that lost money to this whole thing.
551  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WORLD CLASS CHINESE GREAT WALL OF CHINA JADE CARVING - HALF A TON WEIGHT! on: February 13, 2014, 04:48:11 PM
I appreciate your useful advice.

I would just say, I can appreciate that I am a new member etc, but I would say that I do have several businesses and I have built up a reputation with my client base. I am looking to start up a cryptocurrency business in the coming months too. A viewing is recomended with this sale or a deal would be done through Skype if potential buyers would like to speak to me.

In terms of this magnificent piece, I do believe that the buyer will really appreciate the hard work that has gone into it.

I have never heard of Bitpremier.com so thank you.

If anyone knows of anyone else who may want to buy this fabulous piece, I am more than willing to come up with a healthy commission.

Many thanks
I appreciate that, but you need to know that we have a plethora of new scammers coming into our community everyday. The warnings are just obligatory to ensure people use their heads, and they don't necessarily reflect on you or your business at a personal level.
552  Other / Off-topic / Re: First bitcoin related suicide? on: February 13, 2014, 04:10:01 PM
80 btc? pffft ...if you wanna lose some serious btc try the securities section.
LMAO, so true. Those poor guys ignore all the people telling them not to do it, then blindly stick up for the company for months until it's all crumbled. It's quite sad.
553  Other / Off-topic / Re: petiton to ban koolio on: February 13, 2014, 03:50:11 PM
Fully support removing this guy's moderator priv on btc-e. He is without a doubt the single worst abuser of power i have seen there. He should take notes from people like paulgr.

555  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcrea - Professional Graphic Design Services - BEST PRICE GUARANTEE! on: February 12, 2014, 07:14:59 PM
Working on a deal with Bitcrea. When he confirms it here, going to send 50% down and I'll update this thread and his trust profile accordingly once the job is complete. So far communication has been fast and professional, and he has asked all the right questions.
556  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 12, 2014, 06:39:25 PM
It's update day, woo! Big money, big money, competitively efficient full custom 28nm chips, STOP!

557  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC-e withdrawal issues? on: February 12, 2014, 05:49:41 PM
Yup.

"Reshipment bitcoin transactions hung due to DDOS network bitcoin (10-11 February) will be produced 13.02.2014"

Fingers crossed.
558  Economy / Marketplace / Re: **Warning, Do not buy a iPhone with Flappy Birds, You can still get the app** on: February 12, 2014, 05:36:51 PM
I still struggle to understand the attraction behind Angry Birds. No clue what the hell Flappy Bird is.

Snake. Now there's a game I can get behind.
559  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WORLD CLASS CHINESE GREAT WALL OF CHINA JADE CARVING - HALF A TON WEIGHT! on: February 12, 2014, 05:17:42 PM
I used to live in Japan and have purchased a TON of jade carvings and ships from places like Phai's. This is, without a doubt, one of the best pieces i've ever seen. Beautifully done.

Perhaps consider using a platform like https://www.bitpremier.com/ or something similar?

EDIT: I must stress the use of TRUSTWORTHY escrow to anyone who decides to communicate with and buy this piece from this user. Be smart.
560  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC-e withdrawal issues? on: February 12, 2014, 05:15:43 AM
Same one i got. Makes no sense with tx prior to DDOS that it would be stuck in processing. It's been 36 hours and you can't get it on the blockchain? Ridiculous.
