541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 10, 2019, 05:23:22 AM
I think the most attractive feature is not having to work for your money and watch it come in daily like all those ponzi and HYIP schemes. Seeing crypto come in daily is nice and it feels like it will always last.
The scammers hope for this and prey on it. Just because the website looks like it is working and you see daily payouts doesn't mean it is legit. They will pay out certain members and always wait for you to make a second or a third deposit before they stop your account with withdrawing. This is why people get scammed easily. They want to believe they can get constant and ever-growing amounts of money without doing anything.
542  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Earn + Post Your Site / Referral URL for FREE on +700 sites! on: October 09, 2019, 04:56:00 PM
I have been using Ad2bitcoin for quite some time now. It really is great. I use it mainly to get hits back to my site through the popunder and the banner advertising. It works very well and you get crypto traffic.
IT is great for those who would rather earn their advertising then pay. I totally forgot they had a faucet to claim from. Thanks for reminding me. The banner surf software is also pretty good and gets you 600 credits and 30 satoshi/hour it is good for boosting your traffic. I am still elarning about their new site now.
543  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: CatBTC - Free bitcoin every 15 minutes! on: October 08, 2019, 10:26:04 PM
5 Satoshi is $ 0.0004, it seems to me even students who don’t have minecraft on the computer will not do this cheap job, sorry for this.

It doesn't sound so high but with referrals it is +2 satoshi and if you have a few hundred it can make something worthwhile. The website is a much better faucet then most since there are no annoying popup ads or even worse those redirects that open new tabs or complete windows. It would be better if the claims were closer together that would make it even more worth it.
544  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Help me find Bitcoin Affiliate programs on: October 08, 2019, 10:01:15 PM
Thank you for all the helpful answers. No that is not my website it is just a list I found to just kick things off with. Are there any particular altcoins any of you support and know of an affiliate program for?
I was hoping someone who did CPA, affiliate marketing or SEO would see this topic.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CATE] Catecoin - kitties approved currency on: October 06, 2019, 10:08:34 PM
You only 16 and you made this by yourself? Wow. Clever huh?

You the guy that did luckydoge but I see you moved the domain to the one in your signature. I see you have a minecraft server too. Do you earn and mine doge in it and use doge as the game's currency?
You use to have a traffic exchange that shared the same domain as the luckydoge one, what happened to it?
546  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: BitShowdown.io - Free to play Battle Royale game - Earn Bitcoin rewards on: October 06, 2019, 09:35:58 PM
Your site appears to be down right now!

Bit of a letdown. A game would be fun right about now.

How is your site supported?
Ads, offerwalls, browser mining?

Some basic info could be helpful.
Minimum withdrawals, payment provider, etc...

Some screenshots might also help to drive in some traffic.

But first, just get the site back up so I can check it out. Wink

Not to worry. Here is a very fun top-down action rpg where you wander around a dungeon killing things while trying to stay alive and collecting items weapons and armour. It is much better then a faucet. More fun and pays out better too https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5161235

There is also the minable coin Pixel which has many games already https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5177006

Have fun!! ^^
547  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: October 06, 2019, 07:19:44 PM
The common man will think only for today and not the future. Eat well now and starve tomorrow. An investor places small amount of funds down different revenue streams and diversifies something they have looked into properly and believe in and not just something they try to flip quick profits from. Slow and steady is best to build a longterm gain.

The investor does not always see a loss as a loss but rather a way to improve and an example of what not to do next time so they do not repeat the same mistake again.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Bankers Say Cryptocurrencies Do Not Threat The Global Financial Stability on: October 06, 2019, 12:15:55 PM
What does the Indian government want anyway? What are they so afraid of? Crypto can't possibley be that big that it can cause this much drama. It juts seems like drama for the sake of drama and everyone up in arms about something or another making a huge noise. Stopping banks from operation with crypto-related businesses is a bad idea. These businesses bring external money into the country and provide jobs. How can that possibly be a bad thing? Too busy arguing about nonsense to see this great opportunity for their country.
549  Economy / Economics / Re: How negative interest rates affect Bitcoin on: October 06, 2019, 12:10:43 PM
Majority of the impact of the negative interest rate will go to precious metals like Gold or silver and not to bitcoin. because precious metals are being used as a tool to safeguard capital since ages and bitcoin just came into the picture just 10-11 years ago. People are not yet accustomed with this high-tech virtual currency. It's easier for them to invest in gold. Obviously we have few handful percentage of population who will prefer cryptos over gold, but they are super minorities!

Just see the link below and you will get an understanding that how the gold price in moving up in the international market.

https://goldprice.org/gold-price-chart.html

Bitcoin has not yet become a preferred choice of the mass!

I don't think this nonesense with negative interest rates will even work. People will simply stop using the bank and as you say they will invest in precious metals. Not only will that take them out of negative debt but into positive. Remember that will inflation you need to be making 5-6% on your investment just to break even and retain the same value. All that will happen is new banks will open that hold gold instead of fiat which basically means we going all the way to the beginning again and where this rabbit hole ends noone knows.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is the difference between staking and mining??? on: October 06, 2019, 03:51:07 AM
Staking is similar to mining in that you get a distribution based on the age of your coins( the length you have been staking for) and the number of coins you hold. Sometimes it gets difficult to stake so you will need more coins to keep up with the rest of the stakers just like how you need to increase mining power buy buying more rigs.

I like staking because you do not have to maintain an expensive mining rig and use electricity as well. Masternodes are great to but that is a lesson for another day.
551  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ★ iwhyyy ★ Get Up To 18 Satoshi on: October 06, 2019, 01:04:58 AM
Nice faucet. Smooth and easy to use. No alloying popup ads and the payout is good. You can choose to not do the shortlink as well. Most faucets these days ask for shirtlink then do not reward appropriately.
Your faucet is fair. The shortlink service you are using is decent as well.  They do not banner farm like lesser services.
552  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: A Shortner on: October 06, 2019, 12:44:19 AM

Lol. That has got to be the longest "shortlink" I have ever seen.

Have you guys considered switching to something paid?
You'd get a lot more traffic, and people would probably take you more seriously.

On a side note, your pages have gotten 679 clicks. Is this service actually profitable enough for you to continue using it?

I think so. The clicks have doubled and it hasn't even been a very long time.

Shortner Closed for Public Registration

You can still join the public shortner here

https://dogeauto.100count.net/shrinko/

Subdomain name is not often good for link shorten website business, try to get a cheap domain name of $1 and be in control of your traffics.

What is the pay rate of your website

I agree with you and the OP should not use a subdomain for things like this. They are better for sister sites or part of sites that share a similar niche.

Yeah, Weird domain. Who knows what this domain consists of. I do not even want to click and check this service without any description. It can have malware also

That's not how malware works, besides the site is fine.
553  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ✅ ► URL Shortener Script for free on: October 06, 2019, 12:13:51 AM
The link doesn't work it counts down to 0 seconds then sits and does nothing before eventually telling me to refresh only to do it over again.
Why do you give us a broken link like this anyway?
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌎[ANN][EARTHS] Earths |🔥🔥Universal Basic Income for everybody🔥🔥 on: October 05, 2019, 11:41:47 PM
This is cool but there have been lots of projects like this. One claiming to give $100 a day. How many coins per month do you give and how are you so sure these coins will have value?
What measurements have you put in place to ensure the coin will retain value so that people getting them can use them?
555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Quantum Computer Kill Bitcoin on: October 05, 2019, 11:35:32 PM
This is an interesting question. If quantum computing becomes this powerful then how will we protect our important data? Passwords would no longer work? The computer would crack any algorithm a human can think of so does this mean we will need physical verification such as a retina or fingerprint scan? That's scary that passwords would not be safe anymore. Bitcoin wouldn't work anymore and most other things too. After all what code would be safe if this quantum computer can just crack it?
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 ways to help you not be emotionally dominated when trading cryptocurrencies on: October 05, 2019, 07:52:04 PM
It is muc hbetter to trade in crypto that is going somewhere and has a planned use that is very close to being put in practice or an already existing and working use for the crypto. These are more of a sure thing then these other random tokens with no reason for being. These are the cryptocurrencies that are longterm and will gain over time. They are the ones people should be putting their money in. Don't put your money into trading a currency that you don't feel will make it or accomplish their goals. Give the project a certain amount of time and if they do not reach it then move on perhaps.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Lollypop(LOLLY)🍭1ST DIVIDEND PAYING Smart-Contract Token🍭 | PRESALE LIVE on: October 05, 2019, 07:42:18 PM
At first, I wasn't really so sure about this token and I will admit the whole candy thing got me interested (shallow right) lol
Then reading about it further I see the reason the coin exists is to gamble with and is gain interest by sending your balance to yourself once per day which is great and the fact that casinos have a house edge will sort out the inflation problem and allow people to gamble daily with their stakes coins.

The thing is I have seen this all before, just with a different story.

However, I visited your telegram and you seem to be a dev that will stick around. I am giving you the benefit of the doubt because of the things you were talking about in the telegram group. Otherwise, I would not support.
You need to understand and you already do when you spoke about shitcoin with no real use and you sound like you want to give your coin a use. You also spoke about devs giving up.

So... Don't give up, keep communicating on telegram and then have something to show for us soon. A working casino will be ultimate proof but maybe you can finish the white paper and the mobile wallet so we can see something is happening. I want to take this project seriously so give me a reason to do so.

I don’t understand how a project with serious intentions in the long term can be called a lollipop, and what is the advantage of a smart-contract over a node that can be stored on a server and also bringing a falling income.
you have a good question in the end. why not a node but a smart contract. answer to that is if you build a node on your machine it takes computing power and pc's resources to generate new coins. when you build it on a vps you have to pay vps charges. same is the case with pos coins , to run them you have to keep your pc on 24/7. why do all that shit. Lolly is unique because you don't even need to have your pc turned on 24/7 to generate new coins, your dividends automatically come to you when you make any transaction. generally eth tokens have a fixed supply and no new coins are ever produced. but with lolly its not the case people are rewarded on there holdings and we expect more people to join us to get this sweet taste of lollypops. Masternodes are old fashioned and highly overhyped. Masternodes are only good for a few great coins like Dash and Pivix. Rest all coins are clones. running after easy money by cloning and stealing others work has made developers blind to innovating something new. With lollypop we wanted to something new and our concept is experimental and we all yet have to witness how this experiment goes. Bitcoins emission is 0.8% inflation a day still people love it , use it and trade it. Lollys inflation is 1% a day we were highly inspired by yobit's coin like LIZA which has this model of paying investors 1% a day on there holdings but there coins didn't had a blockchain and they all were virtual so there was scope for cheating , they could add new coins to the supply without anyone knowing it. We spent 20 days building this token where as you can build a eth token in just 10 minutes. There was lot of brainstorming and testing and failures involved in making this possible for a moment we thought this could not be possible and we should think of something else but our talented team made it possible thanks to them.

Ignore that user. That user is a spammer and won't be in his signature campaign for very much longer. The user is a noone. Go through their posts. They have nothing of value to add to anything.
What kind of name is lollypop? Well what kinda name is apple? Rather don't even waste your time and effort and people like this they are a scourge to this forum.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptomania: The Bitcoin Bop [Animation] on: October 05, 2019, 07:35:13 PM
Lol, that was crazy. I liked it so much and that must have taken so much effort you should be proud of it. I like how the little bitcoin man walks and the scene progresses through the ages. I love how the bank was blown up at the beginning. The animation is pretty cool and when satoshi appears it gets a bit weird what with the wizzard attacking and everything. Then very colourful and like you on a colour trip.

All the HODL signs on the way while he rides the train. It is very cute. Riding that bitcoin train for sure. Pretty much everything in the video is symbolic of something and very relevalent. It tells a story and it is progresses literally since the screen constantly moves.

Thanks so much, I appreciate your note.  I know the video gets a little crazy, but it all has meaning. If you noticed at the 01:18 mark, their is a "Hash Rate" character is smoking a pipe. He is exhaling binary, and then the famous Bitcoin Wizard Meme statue has a similar effect. I was trying to convey a hallucination. This turns the Bitcoin Wizard alive, and he then fights the banker. The trip goes bad, and then then market crashes...but the Bitcoin community keeps building. The banker is not supposed to be Satoshi, it is supposed to the banker that gets hit at the beginning - the banker loses the monopoly over the exchange of value. The meteor that hits the bank is supposed to be the gensis block.

I hope to make a video explaining all this with a voice over - but I have to see if there is any real interest in it. Please share the video if you can with any fans of crypto.

-Adama

Oh!! Ok so that was the banker. I see. You definitely going to have to explain all this to us there is just so much to see. This is one hell of a lot of effort, especially for one person. Really cool man.  I already showed my friend ^^ She does graphics design so she is interested in this video. 2d pixel art is always awesome. What software programs do you use to create such a video?
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you know about Bitcoin before becoming a bitcoiner? on: October 05, 2019, 06:11:56 PM
I first came across bitcoin when I was trying to find a way to make money online. I also discovered it because growing up I always wanted to buy things online but never could and my parents would not allow me to use the bank account. Finally, my father got paypal connected when I was in my last year of school but it was not the same. Being paid had fees and all this tape it was a pain. Being paid was a problem. Then bitcoin dolved this problem. I also wanted to start mining and I really wish I had however I am at least glad I never since the website we were planning to get the miner from was a scam. However we know about bitcoin when it was only $10
I lost interested for 3 years due to personal issues and I then returned and began working on the forum and collect and learning of new methods to make money doing all sorts of things.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes developers keeps making on: October 04, 2019, 06:35:42 PM
I think the biggest mistake is giving up. I think so many of these "devs" are honestly just losers or just run with the money which makes them even bigger losers. The devs give up just because the project didn't immediately work or that the first idea didn't work. You should only move onto a new idea of you try multiple times. If you just try once that is not a proper chance. Things need time to grow. A seed is small but in years it will be a massive oak.

More of these projects need actual backing and stop worrying about things like being listed.  I would rather follow a project that is not listed but is being used then a project that is listed but has no use.
