541  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: May 20, 2018, 11:54:22 AM
Its no longer news that an ICO in Japan has lost over $400 million to hackers. They promised to pay back investors who invested in their ICO. Thsi is a huge loss. After I read that news, I began to wonder. How safe is Bitcoin and Other altcoins? What measures should we take to avoid being hacked ?
There are so many hackers nowadays that is why it is very dangerous to give your information to an untrusted or unknown person because they may hack your account and steal all of your money in just a minute. We are not really sure if  our bitcoins and altcoinsare safe inside our wallet, we should be sure that no one would never knows about our accounts.
542  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society on: May 20, 2018, 10:19:59 AM
It is said now China is a cashless society. Use of debit and credit cards in shops/stores, online pay bills, shopping online.

Money earned from the internet is known as digital/electronic money. People who earn money from the internet, they get paid money in electronic form by payment processors such as skrill, perfectmoney, alipay, paypal, bank-wire transfers because online workers are worldwide.

Last month, I got $20 from online surveys. The money was sent to my bank account via online payment processor. Now if I buy 2 shirts using debit cards at offline or online stores, there is no cash involved but I have 2 shirts.

Bitcoin is a part of digital money. How is digital money is your country ??
Most people nowadays are more comfortable in using cashless or online payment instead using cash or real money because  it is much faster to pay your bills and buying things, that is why there are so many incoming application in our country that you could used it to buy loads and pay bills through online.
543  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Nakababahala ang KYC, Bakit? on: May 14, 2018, 06:37:48 AM

544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the governments kill cryptocurrencies on: May 13, 2018, 04:45:28 PM
Some governments are starting to embrace blockchain and cryptocurrencies and others are literally closing the doors to this technology. Do you think governments will continue to fight back against cryptocurrencies and decentralization?

In my own point of view, i think the government could really kill cryptocurrencies because they are powerful enough to do that. But for now they can't because there are countries which they made cryptocurrencies as legal and i think in the near future government will start to accept cryptocurrencies.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Secure Bitcoins? on: May 13, 2018, 03:01:37 PM

546  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as savings, emergency needs possible? on: May 13, 2018, 02:38:55 PM
So far there are many concerns regarding on bitcoin advantage. I have read a lot of it here in our forum. Thus really make sense why should we invest in bitcoin? Well i know that you can add up more when comes to the advantage of investing bitcoin from the other members as well. In fact i get a lot of idea from them from reading and reading from their post. Thus includes bitcoin as a form of savings highlights the best idea on investing bitcoin which could be later use as for emergency needs also. So how it will work? Well i have some extra money from my salary so instead of putting it to my piggy bank i will invest it here in cryptocurrency though  it is not that big yet it could be consider as savings. From time to time as other members done like holding and selling it in the right time will do also. So it will be savings plus profit and that could also be use for emergency needs and easier to get or convert it to money for emergency uses unlike lending money from banks that will cater 2-3days process before you get your money. So this is the best idea i guess. How about you?Could you consider this thoughts?
I think it is possible that you can use your bitcoin holdings as your savings for your emergency purposes or financial purposes. The only problem is if the value of bitcoin starts to decrease your savings will go down as well, but if it increase it will increase as well. I think if you want your savings to be stable just convert it into cash.
547  Economy / Economics / Re: Is banking still important in the bitcoin era? on: May 13, 2018, 02:09:41 PM
Financial technologies such as bitcoin, P2P lending and crowdfunding are just beginning to take off, and businesses involved in the industry pose little immediate threat to traditional commercial banks. Banks, after all, the country's economic lifeline, so I think the bank is still very important, do you think?
In my own personal opinion, i think banking is not important in the bitcoin era because bitcoin do not need banks to store them. I think bitcoin era will take a long time before it happens because there are still countries and governments who still do not accept bitcoin.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: May 13, 2018, 01:38:28 PM
I have a job, and I'm quite tired of working as an employee. I was thinking if I can make my btc earnings a start for a business, what do you think?
Working in bitcoin is much exciting than working as an employee because it is more easier to work on and you can earn much bigger than your job. I think you can really start your own business using your bitcoin earnings if you have started earning huge profit from your investment and in bounty campaigns. I think it is really enough for you to make your own business.

The bestest way and safest way to keep all of your bitcoins is finding a trusted bitcoin wallet that hackers could never open your account. Never give any information or passwords on your email account and bitcoin wallet to a untrusted person and do not open your accounts in public places.
550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: May 13, 2018, 12:15:25 PM
Some people think that strong feeling affect the outcome of your bet. But for me its all about luck., what do you think guys.
In my own personal opinion, i think being positive has a affect on your outcome of your bet because many people says once you stay positive good lucks will come to you. But still don't take a lot of risk in playing because maybe you might get addicted if you won a lot of times in gambling.
551  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin VS bank on: May 13, 2018, 12:02:05 PM
For more than a century, the banking system was used to fund state, endanger the stability of the economic activity, robbing private savings, eliminate one road, promote the financing dependence, even make violent reached an unprecedented scale, all because we do not have different techniques to implement monetary exchange. Now the monopoly is being broken. Bitcoin was born. The fear of the ruling class is only just beginning.

Do you think bitcoin will replace Banks in the future?
Cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin do not need banks, so i think bitcoin can only replace banks if the world will be a cashless society because banks will lose its purpose and cash will never be existed. Until there are still physical money, banks will still exist and cannot be replace by bitcoin.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: May 13, 2018, 11:56:37 AM
Are you picky with ICOs?
Yes i am picky in ICO's nowadays because most of it are scams and has a low value. You really need to be picky nowadays because ICO's are very risky, so before you join ICO's you need to make sure if it is good project and not a scam. Reading the white paper will also help for you to know if it is legit.
553  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: May 13, 2018, 09:28:07 AM
I think whatever happens I will not stop at ICO, you should not have such thoughts. In the world of crypto we need is patience and trust.
In my own opinion, most ICO's do really loses their value and scams that is why it is now very risky if you would like to invest in ICO's, but it doesn't mean it will end here. We really need to have patience and trust that they will have a good value someday, so you should not have thoughts that you are quitting ICO's.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: May 13, 2018, 08:56:01 AM
Hi, i have backupped my pvkeys on an usb stick. I wrote it also down on a piece of paper. My computer broke. I put a metal pin through the harddrives. I will not buy a new pc soon. So i wont check in on myetherwallet for some time. I cant click on phishing links. My question is : are my funds safe? Can myetherwallet get hacked? Can my funds dissapear even when i have no computer, hid my keys? Im to stupid to work with a ledger or trezor. Can something happen to it like with the parity/kill?
In my own personal opinion, even your computer got broke you can still open your wallet using other devices. Your funds will be safe and you will never be hacked, but just be sure that you still have your private key safe. You should not give your private key to untrusted people for you not to get hacked.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your favorite gambling games? on: May 06, 2018, 08:53:45 PM
I love playing card games but the my most favorite card game is poker because it gives more thrill than other card games and it has its own strategy to win like bluffing other players to fold their cards. Another reason why i love poker is because i always feel lucky when i play it.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can government destroy Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2018, 08:23:42 PM
In my own personal opinion, it is possible that the government will destroy bitcoin because they have the power to do it if all the our country start to banned bitcoin. But it can't happen because there are many countries that was legalize by the government, so it can't be destroy by the government.
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Shut Up Bitcoin Haters on: May 06, 2018, 06:08:26 PM
it is very difficult.I just don't mind them but if they want to understand about bitcoin I would love to extend my help to discuss to them the possible ideas that to be easily for them to analyze the real goodness of bitcoin. If they stick to their opinions I can't do anything for them. So I would never be thinking or stress if they don't listen but they can see how I am improving mentally, physically and financially.

Just ignore those people who hates bitcoin because we are just wasting our time explaining to them about the goodness of bitcoin and it won't effect on our earnings. They just give fake news and useless opinion about bitcoin, so other people wouldn't invest on it.
558  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: May 06, 2018, 05:54:50 PM
In my own personal opinion, it is very impossible that bitcoin will be outdated by another currency because bitcoin is the first and most powerful cryptocurrency. Bitcoin has more potential to be legalize by the government than any other cryptocurrencies because of its value.
559  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: May 06, 2018, 05:49:28 PM
Over 900 Million  pesos worth of bitcoins been scammed.

Filipino couple amasses at least P900M in alleged Bitcoin scam.
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Police have nabbed a couple promising easy wealth through popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa announced on Tuesday, April 10.
Arnel and Leonady Ordonio were nabbed by PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) operatives – the police division in charge of high-stakes and high-profile crimes – in Vigan City last April 4 through an entrapment operation.

The scam, Obusan said, is structured like a pyramid scheme but with electronic money.

The Ordonios apparently had middlemen who lured people to invest. They promised to pay victims with their earnings every 15 days.

Fueled by the worldwide Bitcoin hype, more and more people were baited by the Ordonio couple's promises.

The complaints started piling in when investors lost contact with the Ordonios.
Whats happened  next?
Around 50 angry victims stormed to Camp Crame on Tuesday, asking the couple if they could still get back the money they had hoped would grow.

Will bitcoin be banned because of that?
No. Bitcoin will not be banned in the Philippines even a lot of people experienced scammed because it helps a lot of pilipino's to earn money, so they could feed and provide the needs of their family. The government in the Philippines also sees that bitcoin is really a good help in the economy, so there are less chances that it will be banned.
