I’m watching the Lakers vs 76ers game and man is this De’Anthony Melton kid lighting up the scoreboard. He is 8/11 from 3 point range on his way to 30 points. I don’t think the Sixers would’ve won this game without him. A great performance for a relatively unknown player against multiple hall of famers. He’s going to be one happy guy when he gets home tonight. I’m happy for him, but would have preferred a Lakers win as they’ve been playing great lately.
I didn't get to watch that game, but I saw some highlights of that match and it was interesting. Indeed Melton played well, but Harden (28) and Embiid (38) also had a great performance in that game. So much surprises. I hope the irony from the Brazil match doesn't get to repeat itself in this Netherland 2:2 Argentina fixture. In the Brazil match, we saw Neymar score and have the whole team including the fans celebrate as though it was all over but Croatia soon cut back into the game. Here we've seen Argentina with 2 goals ahead have that same feeling of its over only for the Netherland to cut back in with some incredible goals, first was W. Weghorst with a not very easy but well executed header into the net and he once yet again got hold of some tactical delivered free kick and placed order into the goal to win his team the equalizer they sole desired and its game on in the extra time. I believe Brazil played under pressure against Croatia. In fact he was the favorite to win and many people around the world imagined that Brazil would easily beat Croatia (including me, who imagined that Brazil would win by 2x0 or 2x1) As time went by, Brazil felt totally pressured, and the Croatian team began to grow in the game. I even imagine that Croatia played this game without pressure, because maybe they didn't even imagine they could reverse the game, especially against Brazil. In the Argentina vs Netherlands game, I would never have imagined that this could happen, because I thought that Argentina would be able to win easily, and that's what happened, but as football is a box of chocolates, I never thought that the Netherlands would manage to tie the game and go to penalties. Yes, they are indeed improving in the past couple of weeks especially after Irving's return. Although they still got beaten by the heavy teams, but they are still showing some signs that they will be bouncing back on their next game and let alone Nic Claxton for being a reliable in the center so that Kevin Durant can be more free to chase points and do what he's best at. The chances of Croatia wining Brazil is very very slim. Very slim because Brazilian squad is so rich and also experienced and are also younger than Croatia squad and as such they will have more energy to run the whole time. Injury is trying to destabilise the Brazilian team but the squad is so rich that injury cannot affect it.
In theory, it may be true that Croatia seems to have a small chance to win against Brazil. But it is a football match, sometimes there is a surprise or unpredictable result. The performance Nets have been showing in the Eastern Conference has been pretty impressive so far. I know that they lost nearly the half of their games but they are still at the fourth position in the standings. Especially their recent form is impressive. Irving and Durant's staying for at least one more season has helped them as well of course.
These stars are still very important for them to be more productive in scoring points. However this performance might still cause them some trouble after the end of the regular season. They need to get as many wins as possible to keep their mental condition high which would prepare them for the playoffs better.
I realized this too... I believe day after day they are improving... It's not something very significant, but it demonstrates they are there and they could be in the playoffs soon. I also believe... Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant have a great job ahead of them. |

But the problem is they are planning to trade Westbrook and Beverly so I guess this will cause a huge trouble to them. Maybe they should stop the trading discussion since this could destroy the focus of their players and maybe they need to develop what currently they have since this is strong team already. The main problem of Lakers is they are impatient to wait for improvements as they want instant result on their campaign.
