563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallet for Ethereum on: September 08, 2018, 02:31:27 PM
Hello

anyone know good wallet to store Ethereum ?

Thank you!

I still trust myetherwallet to be my main erc20 wallet for most of my crypto activities like trading and ICO investments. It is also the wallet that I use when joining airdrops and bounty campaigns which I still occasionally do. But to add more security, I top it up with MetaMask. For mobile devices, I use IMToken.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: September 08, 2018, 02:26:14 PM
What have you been using your ETH for?

For trading
To buy ICO
For long term investment
Other - explain

My main and primary use for ethereum is for buying and selling altcoins for trading. Half of my hodlings are reserved for it. Then I also join in ICOsand buy from exchanges of some altcoins that I plan to use for long-term investment.
565  Other / Archival / Re: How to earn altcoin every days? on: September 08, 2018, 02:20:54 PM
There are many ways people earning in altcoin in regular basis. What is your methods for earning in altcoin?

Trading?
Airdrop?
Bounty?
Others?

if you plan to earn from altcoins everyday you must get involved in day trading. that's the only way you can receive returns for your effort. You can join also airdrops and bounty campaigns and receive stakes in exchange for your effort. But they normally give after the sale of their crypto.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about Crypto currency future on: September 08, 2018, 02:17:57 PM
What do you thing, where crypto currency is going? Do you think this is end of crypto?

Despite the down crypto market trend right now, I still am confident with crypto. I think the market is just experiencing a cycle and soon it will just naturally correct and stabilize itself. We just need to trust the technology and the crypto industry.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: September 07, 2018, 03:23:23 PM
I use ICO rating sites for a short preliminary info about a new project I am interested to invest. But those site does not influence my decision to join as I still follow research personally the project before I invest to avoid getting scammed and ensure that the project has long-term potentials
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin? on: September 07, 2018, 03:16:37 PM
i wonder what makes you trust a new altcoin? what you're looking for in their company page etc...?

There are elements that I look for before I truly invest in a crypto project. First is the platform if it is truly practical and feasible. Along with this are the whitepaper and functional website that explains details about the technicalities of the project. Second is the team behind the project. Teams that are expert on the specific technology-related to the projects and would be able to drive the project long-term. Lastly is the community support of the project. The community truly is the one giving value to the coins. So it is important that the project is really accepted by the community.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: September 07, 2018, 03:09:19 PM
I think that 95% of crypto coins and tokens won't survive and the reason is that a crypto coin in order to survive and get value it has to be accepted as a way of payment for purchase goods or services.
Very few coins will manage to do it at the end of the day and of course these coins will get enormous value.
The only thing you have to do is to find out which coins will enter the market of real currencies.

I think most of these coins will eventually die as the project cannot sustain itself in the long run. Crypto projects, in order to live long, are not only about the platform but also about great community support and a persistent team that will endure the project in the ups and downs of the market. Sad to say, the majority of the coins don't have those elements.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How was your experience in joining bounty or airdrop? on: September 07, 2018, 03:05:12 PM
Hey everyone!

I am very new to joining airdrops. I just wanna know if you had experience joining into some ICOs but did not receive your expected tokens? Or what was your first tokens that you received?

My first received token was very rewarding experience, still counting other and tracking my airdrops atm.

Can you share some of your experiences about this matter?

thank you!

Joining bounties and airdrop campaigns were very rewarding for me. Getting free tokens in exchange of the tasks I did for the project. It used to be a great source for collecting a good number of tokens. But lately, the rewards are not that much anymore that I become picky about the campaign I join. It is not that attractive anymore that I have since move on to trading.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any other crypto replace bitcoin? on: September 06, 2018, 10:44:48 PM
There are many cryptocurrencies out there, the fluctuation is wide and big. There’s a need of a coin that uses a process to stabilize its value.

No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.

Do you agree???

yes. I think so. there are many altcoins out there which have great potential to be like bitcoin in terms of features and community support. as long as they can be sustained in the market by their development team, in the future they might replace bitcoin.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: September 06, 2018, 10:40:46 PM
There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?

indeed! some altcoins are very useful to their specific project as means of exchange. also, the creation of new altcoins builds and develops the industry and the blockchain technology as well
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: September 06, 2018, 10:38:29 PM
Hello everyone!

We all know that the situation with market is not that good as we want it to be. Thus it affects a lot of ICO projects. On the one hand people don't invest in coin so much money as they did last year. On the other bounty hunters sell tokens fast and the price goes very low. That is why some projects prefer list their token on Idex first. They want to see how a coin plays on market.

And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?

I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.

What is your idea?

with the price of most coins below the invested ICO value, I would not sell my crypto. I have waited for a long time hoping for the market to normalize again so I think waiting a little more wont hurt that much
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors? on: September 02, 2018, 02:12:33 PM
Icos look for bounty hunters to promote their project through the power of social media.Sometimes, some of these hunters also double as ico investors. But it looks like bounty hunters understand ICOs project and are able to determine very good projects before they invest because of their experiences in different projects.

I think it depends on the bounty hunter if he desires or has the confidence to go to investments. But the majority of them go on the ICO route once they receive their tokens and sell it. In my case, I started as a bounty hunter, traded the rewards I received and invested them in ICOs.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: September 02, 2018, 01:49:16 PM
Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?

If I have that kind of increase in my investment, I would sell my coins. I am a hodler but its hard to pass up on that kind of opportunity. I would take advantage of the situation and if the prices continues to increase I would buy and trade again to get a maximum gain on the situation.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it secure to use MyEtherWallet? on: September 01, 2018, 02:13:29 PM
I want to create new wallet using MyEtherWallet(dot)com, is it recommended wallet and easy to use?

I used MyEtherwallet and until now it is my main day-to-day transaction wallet. So far (crossfingers) it is a trustworthy wallet for my crypto holdings. I add on top of it Metamask for more added security. I think MEW is secure as long as you hold your credentials privately.

579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ERC20 tokens? on: August 31, 2018, 03:03:29 PM
Last year in early december I bought eBitcoin token which turned out to be a scam. Luckily for me I sold them before the ePRX snapshot but alot others have made losses. I really believed this token would be a succes but I've realized that alot of these ERC20 tokens have the same things in common. The devs (or better said scammers) create alot of hype and pretend their token to be the real deal while they never intended to create a working product. I've thought about investing in tokens like Credits and Elixir but I'm afraid they are all the same kind of scam.

Do you trust them?

With all the scam projects occuring here and there, erc20 security has become an issue. But i still do trust them. I just research carefully the project and token I wish to invest into so I could avoid investing in a scam project.

From various sources, MyEtherWallet (MEW) are not under development and maintenance any more. Even its founders has confirmed that they are switching to develop a new platform called mycrypto and encourage everybody to move there property to there.
But IMO, MEW or mycrypto is just a gateway to access your real wallet in the blockchain, so, both of them are still fine event MEW is not maintained anymore, right?

If this transistion is true then this would be bad news to many eth holder like me who uses MEW as our primary erc20 wallet. It is still my main wallet for hodling all my erc20 tokens. Transfering tokens is expensive so need to find a cheaper solution to transfer my tokens to other wallet
