It's the surge dev guys, no doubt about it.

He started surge then dumped his premine, but got fuck all for it because he can't even get a simple scam right.

It's not just the images, the words are virtually identical too.

This is his second, lazy scam attempt - don't fall for it.

563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Simcoin? No rush, IPO to remain open for over two years! Yay! on: May 14, 2014, 09:37:52 PM
What I gather from reading some of the threads criticising the simcoin developer are that he spends an alarming amount of time policing any critical posts on his thread...

This is obviously a red flag.

Heres what I wrote on his thread.
It was deleted within 5 minutes.

Quote from: TheMightyX
I heard from my Chinese friend,
they said this coin is scam.
What is your opinion guys?

It's very simple. Those who spread FUD about Simcoin are investors themselves, so they don't want you or any new investors to come in and make their share smaller.

That's why there are so many topics in here, falsely accusing me of being a scammer and spreading all sorts of FUD.

When the IPO closes, you will see their position reversed. Those topics will quickly be deleted or forgotten and the very same people and their new sockpuppet accounts will start hyping Simcoin to try and get a better price to dump at by the time the exchange opens.

It's not that hard to follow their primitive logic.

---

Then there is salsacz and his sockpuppets, who doesn't like it that I openly talk about NXT flaws.

Why? Because I know what I am talking about and this undermines his attempts to generate a constant marketing hype-storm for NXT to blind everybody who has no technical expertise or haven't looked under the hood.

---

Then there are people, who are invested in other coin and feel threatened, because they are afraid that if Simcoin succeeds, their coin will die.

So that's the main reasons for all these tons of negativity thrown in my direction.

Do you think people would spout as much crap if Simcoin didn't matter? Wink

"You decide." (c) The new lamest NXT slogan.

--
P.S. I don't bash NXT, I bash certain people.

I find it quite unprofessional and alarming when someone brushes off ALL criticism as malicious and unfounded in any way. It shows a bias and lack of willingness to see things from other peoples perspectives. Mind you I haven't been following the thread closely so I don't know to which FUD you are referring. I'm not saying there are no sockpuppets. But claiming that everyone who has something bad to say about you or your project or the way you are doing business is a liar and scammer is (pardon my french) fucking ridiculous.

Making absolute statements like "everyone who says something bad about this project is already an investor and they just don't want you to invest" is a very shady thing to say. You should have known this before you even said it.

Am I a malicious investor because I pointed out you made a very shady and/or careless post?
Well I must be by your previous logic.
(for reference I'm not, but I am considering it)

I also posted several follow ups asking why my thread was deleted, which were also subsequently deleted for no reason.

Mass reprisals for perceived injustices, massive censorship, hubris, self-aggrandisement and a pre-occupation with wealth are common themes in dictatorships......... and we all know how dictatorships end up..........

EDIT:

I'm sure you know this, but just in case, you can see the whole, uncensored thread here:

must admit, I was expecting better from this coin

Yes, me too, although I didn't understand why he went for the publicity before the coin was ready - a bit of a wasted opportunity.

OK, I'm back     Roll Eyes

Now my problem is that a BTC deposit is not clearing to the exchange despite it now having 14 confirms on the blockchain.

I have raised a support ticket, but so far no reply.

I understand that this is a new project and things go wrong, and I really don't want to moan, but the price has risen by around 40% while I've been here twiddling my thumbs.

Anyone from the exchange reading this?

How do you set a manual payout or threshold payout on your site?

Go to the Pool List and click on the pool, login and then go to Control. Under Payout Control you can update your payout credentials.

Thank you. I didnt realize I had to login under the pool. I was just logged in under the site.

Yeah, the navigation is too complicated, I can never find the dashboard..... why is there two?
569  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CryptoNote Exchange on: May 13, 2014, 12:32:19 AM
Been trying to deposit MRO to the exchange, but when I copy and paste the command into the wallet I get a "Wrong Address" error.......

Any ideas?
You have not mixed up the address with BCN, haven't you?

I thought your were going to make me look silly then, but no, no mix-up....  Sad

I got to balances, click deposit, select MRO and put "5" in the box, then click generate.

I then C&P that command into simplewallet and it throws up the wrong address error.

I've checked the command letter by letter before hitting enter and it's correct - so no copy error.

Very odd..........

Try to copy the address into an editor first. Sometimes there are control caracters or so in the clipboard.

Tried that, no dice.......... thanks anyway.

Just bumping this hoping for an answer, been trying different things with no success and the price is moving rapidly..... so any help appreciated.

Have also submitted a ticket on the exchange, but no response so far.

Cheers.

OK, silly me..... was using an old client......

571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MRO] Monero - Anonymous Currency Based on Ring Signatures on: May 12, 2014, 09:01:22 PM
Out of the Cryptonote coins, I'm inclined to go with BCN, because no one cares about premine outside of miners. .

 Grin

No one cares? What if a few people own most of the worlds total wealth? We will be their puppets, so what? No one cares  Cheesy
It's inconsequential as far as adoption goes. If BCN had a top notch developer, and Monero had a mediocre one, BCN's distribution wouldn't stop it from dominating. That being said, I don't know much about the developers involved in either project.

I know nothing of BCN developers either.  I do know of advancements made by Monero devs.

There is now first Cryptonote Coin exchange.

Open source pool is working and final touches completed soon.

BCN around for long time and nothing moves forward.  Just closed source pool with 10% fee.

10%!!!!

Lol

I posted this on the FCN thread, but figured the dev here might have insight --

Is there a chance that FCN merge-mined blocks in the donor chain are breaking the MRO wallet?

I'm unable to create new transactions on my wallet after successfully mining a donor chain (MRO) block.

Tracing the error back a bit, it's getting a "Derived public key mismatch" error in construct_tx.  I haven't gotten farther than that, but hoped that an FCN or MRO dev might be able to check more quickly than someone who doesn't know the code.

block 36387 is the merge-mined one.  Or could this be something else?

(Regardless, it's a little scary - i can't send transactions out of my wallet if they include whatever "bad" entry is in there)

Thanks!

I am also having problems trying to transfer coins from my wallet to the cryptonote exchange - it keeps telling me that the address I am trying tio send to is wrong..... is this the error you get?

I have also tried merged mining - not impressed.

This has been one weird coin. Early on, there were plenty of trolls spreading fud. They would have been better off just sticking to facts, as people may have taken them seriously then. Like... simply post  Payu's facebook page back then and it would probably have scared off 99% of the people here.

Anyway, this coin is beyond trolling. It doesn't matter anymore.

I am not going to say it was a scam coin. But it was terribly planned and those running the coin really have appeared clueless almost the entire time. It was like a lesson on how NOT to make a coin. Best thing to come of the coin and this entire thread was that self-destruction artwork that someone posted here. Shame my maza can't even pay for a single shipped photo from deviant art.

Hey, we did post all sorts of stuff - I was the first to post the links for his previous scams....... needless to say I got called a shill and a troll while you threw away your bitcoins.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Simcoin? No rush, IPO to remain open for over two years! Yay! on: May 10, 2014, 10:23:11 AM
NxtCh is a social retard. It is hopeless that some people think he can make a successful coin. Better hope that he can't make it and return everyone money.

I see that the dev is now describing his investors as retards!!!

Does this guy deserve over $40,000 for a project that is nothing but words at the moment?
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Is Simcoin out of control? Good news! IPO to remain open for over two years!!! on: May 10, 2014, 10:18:14 AM
Worth reading the uncensored post for the latest thoughts from the simcoin dev - apparently he now thinks investors are retards.

Do you really want to trust this guy with your money?

People that create coins with IPO doing it for fast profit, innovation or not, this coin is already dead.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=588160.0

No, the dev is making good money on it, it's not dead in his eyes - which seem to be watching his thread 24/7 judging by how quick my posts get deleted.
