561  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me show the right path regarding cryptography technology. on: December 18, 2023, 09:48:06 AM
Why the rush?

If you can operate a computer and your laptop you can do anything online.

But like I just said, why the need for rush? Do you know that it took me more than a year to fully understand many things in this crypto space? And you are new to crypto but you want all the knowledge so fast?

Relax, it takes time, you need to climb gradually, learn something new about crypto today, and focus on that for a while, later you will move into something else in crypto, grab yourself a book and a pen, start writing down your steps as you go.

Practice makes perfect like people used to say, you mentioned Bitcoin mining, have you tried it out yourself? Have you seen where miners harsh a block? I think what you want is practical not the theory.
562  Economy / Gambling / Re: Banned from RollBit for Italian users on: December 18, 2023, 09:24:39 AM
Sigh! People don't like the truth, until they get hammered by what they believe to be true, like seriously, how are you going to feel comfortable using a platform with your money if not by reading their conditions? You won't even know maybe what you are about to do is forbidden by them, and when you get punished you will start saying they are scam, why do people hate reading Terms and conditions so much? I don't get it.

Terms and condition is the most important, if you can't read just skip some part by scrolling to the part where you need to see if KYC is a must to keep using the platform or not, believe me there is always something in the Terms and condition that you must be aware of, many people are living different types of countries, and some have hard laws on gambling.

OP you are to be blame for your lack of responsibility, the Rollbit team are not the ones to do one reading for customers, it's left for people to check this Terms and condition out first, if you are not satisfied with what you see you should look elsewhere.
563  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unstable prices of cryptocurrency on: December 17, 2023, 06:38:46 PM
As a beginner, I bought Bitcoins few days ago when the price was $43,943 with the hope that since the price has been increasing rapidly, that it will continue to increase but now that the price is dipping I now found out that the Bitcoins in my wallet is also going down.

So my question is that can't it be possible for someone to buy bitcoins and hodl it at a specific price such that even if the price dips it won't affect the Bitcoins you have hodl in your wallet?
You really don't want to see your Bitcoin go down, unfortunately Bitcoin is not a stable coin like USDT, if all you want is a permanent value then sell your Bitcoin for stable coin, its like you don't know what you are doing, it shows that you haven't done good research on Bitcoin first before buying and that's a bad beginning already.

What you seek for is so unfair, you don't want to see the value go down but you want it to go up? Sorry to say but Bitcoin investment is not for someone like you, its better you find something else to do with your money, because Bitcoin can still go down.

Do not invest if you are not ready to lose money, investment is very risky, you need to so research before risking your money.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that this is aperfect analogy of how gambling addiction starts? on: December 17, 2023, 03:19:12 PM
We are all humans but we are all different, what could spike an addiction in me can be a total turn off for you, in the world of gambling anything is possible, anyone can become an addict in any possible way, some starts their addiction after the lose their money, and that's loss chasing.

The majority of gamblers get addicted when they win in their first game, this is the most popular way for anyone to become a gambling addict, someone who have no past gambling experience will probably lose his mind if he wins some few rounds when starting out in gambling.

Both loss chasing and first win are too common as the ways that gamblers get addicted to gambling, instead of accepting that you are throwing money away and make it harder for the house to win over you, people instead choose to run after how much they can make.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prove me wrong: Gambling is both more relaxing and entertaining than trading! on: December 17, 2023, 01:53:14 PM
Gambling has it all, fun, entertainment and stress free, but thats if you go with the safest gambling strategy, and this is using a very small money on the games, you can't enjoy a football match if you risk too much money on it, you will have your mind in panic mood until the game is over, its not worth it.

Gambling is a matter of choice, do you want to have some great time or you want to make money? Choose your destiny, but I can promise you can if money making is your sole purpose of gambling you will likely lose a lot of money, enjoy your time in gambling, risk what you can afford to lose and enjoy your time.

Those who have great times gambling are those who don't care about how much they want to make from gambling, they lower their risks and have great time doing it, whatever happens doesn't matter, having a great time is the best.

566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 17, 2023, 12:31:39 PM
No one likes reading through terms and conditions but we don't have a choice, its tiring to even look at the whole words on screen and start reading, but how will you know if they support your location? How will you know if KYC is compulsory? How will you know if they don't like you using VPN and proxies? I want to know.

Isn't this the reason why some people get bad experience gambling on a casino and they are ask to pass KYC by force? When you broke rules at times you may not even know what you did wrong, that's why you have to know what your casino likes and what they don't like or else you will have to pay for not reading the terms and conditions from the start.

I will say that this is a good way to avoid making stupid mistakes, before you make your first deposit on any online casino its better to read their terms and conditions first.
567  Other / Off-topic / Re: Simple advice, don't get carried away by people success stories. on: December 15, 2023, 07:26:36 AM
This is why I hate bringing people into altcoin investment, even if its a very good one, for example celestia or arbitrum, I still feel that its not safe as anything could happen, the only thing I can introduce to people is Bitcoin, I have full confidence with Bitcoin but not any altcoins no matter how strong their fundamental and utilities can be.

About the success stories, me I love reading them, if they are genuine, I always cling unto any sign of hope and believe me, success stories is far more encouraging for me in my crypto journey, you don't have to do the same thing that they do, just keep your hope and dreams alive.

Success stories are encouraging, some people are so brain dead that they believe its impossible to make in big in life, I used to have people like these around me and keep my distance to safe my own mindset, I find strength in such stories but I don't copy them, I just drain the strength from the stories and add it up in my boiling blood.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: December 14, 2023, 12:16:42 PM
The funny thing is 2.5m isn't enough for something to end their own life, I have lost more than this amount when I was new with crypto, I lost a lot of money that I don't even have in my bank account all because I wanted to earn more, but I get over it in a week and learn from it, this makes me to even want to learn more and try as much as possible to avoid stupid mistakes.

I wish he had a different thought about the loss and just move on with his life, he would have probably start to recover slowly already, I can count up to three times that I have lose it all and start from the scratch again, its not always the end when loses happens.

I hope that greedy gamblers can learn from this man's story, if you are not ready to lose any amount of money in gambling do not even think about winning a lot of money with it, stop fooling yourselves and accept that you aren't ready to lose the money.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: With gambling, it's probably easier to quit cold turkey on: December 14, 2023, 11:10:11 AM
If someone is a problem gambler and has repeatedly relapsed to problematic behavior related to gambling, I have come to the conclusion that it's best to quit cold turkey.

With other things it can sometimes be recommended that the addict slowly winds down their consumption of the addictive activity or substance, but that doesn't sound very realistic with gambling, does it?

Quitting cold turkey, contemplating on your mistakes and talking about it with a group and some experts sounds like the best path. What are your thoughts? Could a problem gambler quit slowly and expect realistic improvements?
Its easy if they noticed that they are losing their minds in gambling already, but there is always a thing line between getting addicted and no getting addicted, if you cross the line it can be too late already, that's why self awareness is very important.

If you know what to expect from gambling before starting at all you will never be lead astray like most gamblers, everything has to do with your expectations, what is gambling to you? Source of income? Or entertainment? I know its easier said than done but I live by this rule that nothing comes easily, money most importantly, this is the most difficult thing to get and why confuse your mind with gambling that you can easily make money?

This is the mind of most gamblers, for them its always about making money that can change their stories for good, using a small amount, like fair judgement, how is this fair? Gambling is the fools game only if you make it seem so, you need to think correctly and accept that you yourself is trying to win money using the almost impossible way.
570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin as payment option for clients on: December 14, 2023, 10:17:41 AM
Bitcoin as payment option for clients

I recently joined this great forum as a UI/UX designer who's interested in investing in Bitcoin. I've decided to use the Bitcoin payment option so that I can start investing in Bitcoin straight with my earnings because my interest in Bitcoin investing has increased.

1. How can the transaction process be optimized for maximum security?
2. What metrics are available for measuring transactions?
3. Which wallet is the best to safeguard my funds and ward off con artists and hackers?

1. Once you make a transaction from your bitcoin Wallet its irreversible, you need to make sure that you are sending to the right receiver, check the address very well before pushing the send tab in your wallet.

2. Saying measuring transaction I am guessing transaction fee? Is this is correct then you can use mempool.space to check the minimum transaction fee you can use and if you want the faster speed you need to use the highest transaction fee on mempool.

3. I still believe that hardware wallet is the most secured crypto wallet, go with hardware wallets that are fully open-source and also air gapped, no internet connection means they are completely offline which is exactly what anyone should need.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: December 14, 2023, 09:03:05 AM
Less numbers of women are into gambling and that's because they mostly don't like losing, its easier for women to get rid of gambling than men, it could be different at your end but this is what I have noticed in my own surroundings, they don't like taking too much risks and they also don't like losing, if it happens gradually they find it easy to just quit.

It will be definitely more ugly if a woman gets addicted to gambling, it will be way worse and that's why you need to choose your partner very carefully, and if they just develop the habit after you get together you need to make them quit or turn them into a responsible gambler, I believe I can deal with an addicted gambler as I believe my method always work on them.

I will just make sure you gamble together, you don't have to make them feel that you hate gambling, you just have to play along and expose them to some gambling reality, if done right they will end up opening their eye to the truth behind gambling.
572  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Things to keep in mind Before Bull Run. on: December 13, 2023, 11:16:56 AM
Diversification:
Well, hehe seems like I covered some of this part in risk management hmm that’s fine.  If you are going to put your big capital on a single promising cryptocurrency, I would say that’s not good decision, for that diversification helps to reduce your investment risk. Spread your net investments across different projects to reduce the impact of any single coin's poor performance in your portfolio. Always keep in mind that BitcoinBTC should be your first priority in Bull run.
If only bitcoin is invested on, there will not be a poor performance most likely. But some altcoins are volatile and some may likely give you more profit. If you are lucky that the altcoins invested on increased in price, do not think two times to convert it to bitcoin or fiat because their dump is not going to be easy.
I have experienced two bear market in the past and I have understand that when Bitcoin reaches a new all time high and the dominance start decreasing is when altcoins will do the best in performance over Bitcoin, I believe this is the best time to start taking profits from altcoins.

I know that Bitcoin is the safest one but if you know how to play it right you can make tons of money from altcoin than Bitcoin, there are just too many good altcoins right now, and I strongly believe that will do so well in the next bull market.

The problem with most alt investors is they never get satisfied, they will be in big profit and they will still fail to take profits, thinking that the price will keep surging and surging, that's why many people get wrecked in crypto space.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Spending more or less money on Casino this Holiday season on: December 13, 2023, 10:16:19 AM
Stop wasting your time in casinos, the earlier you move out the better, don't feel comfortable, don't drink, its part of the plan, I have walked into a casino where they serve free drinks, damn, too many people just love free things, not knowing that its a way of making them sit their asses down on the chair for countless hours and go home with nothing.

I don't like using the casino, its too comfy and that's dangerous, so I prefer online gambling, I don't have to focus on how many hours I am about to spend but the money I am willing to lose at the moment, this is easier for me than anything else.

If you are still a fan of offline casino then you have to go with the timing or the exact amount you are ready to lose, don't walk into a casino thinking that you will risk only $20 dollars and you go in with $200, the chances of spending $190 on gambling is possible, give no room to things like this, be disciplined.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 13, 2023, 09:24:33 AM
Both are fun depending on how you decide to go with the betting on the game, if all you bet is as little as a dollar what could go wrong if you lose? Today many people still use 0.25 dollars to gamble and that's something that won't do any shit to them if they lose the game.

I like the idea of accepting that the money is no more yours before you even place the bet, this gives you the sense of total control on your bankroll, having this type of mind will make you believe that risking what you can afford to lose is the best way with gambling.

Its only you that have the power to make that game a fun one before the game even begin, like I love telling fellow gamblers to always have their mind on the money they are going to lose rather than thinking about how much they are about to make, you all should think more about the negative side of gambling ( losing ) than winning, because this is always likely the scenario.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logic of some gamblers against math on: December 13, 2023, 08:48:18 AM
Its very possible to win again when the heater is ongoing, but I would rather not, I have my own set of rules in gambling and its me taking my leave after I win, just a single win is a bus stop for me to exit and come back another day.

I know that some people can win three times in a roll, but what could come next is what I don't like, its like doing the exact thing that casino want you to do, to keep going, thinking that you can really be a winner, in every game you play.

Forget about gambling strategy, the best one is to be smart with the amount you risk on gambling and also take your leave whenever you get lucky, do not misuse your luck, when it comes once it probably isn't going to happen the second time, you don't even want to find out.
576  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me I system reset my windows 10, and now my wallet dat is corrupted on: December 12, 2023, 03:40:32 PM
There are many ways that things can go wrong running a crypto wallet on a computer, that's why I don't want to take the chances, there was a time that I had no choice but it was a painful experience, my PC kept getting different malware even when I was very careful.

The crazy part are those crypto coins that have no support on popular crypto wallet and I have to download their software and install all their blockchain data, one moment they work well and the other they have syncing problem, it was never a pleasant experience.

This is why I avoid any crypto project that's not available in other common crypto wallets like Trust wallet or Other multi-crypto wallet, trying to store keys can be much complicated, its better to get recovery seed off them and write it down somewhere instead.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one you are good at? on: December 12, 2023, 02:54:47 PM
If you are to give someone advice about gambling addiction what do you think it's the most important over all other advice? I think you can never fade managing your bank roll, this is what will put you in check and avoid going over your boundary, stay withing a amount range and don't ever gamble more than the amount.

Apart from having a source of income which also is a very important advice I believe that managing your bank roll is also very important, if you don't have a source of income you can't be able to risk money on gambling because that's risking what you can't afford to lose.

As for finding the right bet I think it's almost impossible, but it's not always easy, and games do change at times too which can also result in losses, instead of trying so hard to win, why not try to manage your bankroll instead?
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are slots hard to understand on purpose? on: December 12, 2023, 01:08:01 PM
Don't even try, I have spend a lot of time to try and understand how slots really work but nothing came up, its on the game provider to get lucky more often or never, some game providers are so bad that it can make you literally gave up on Slots in general, this is why I will advice anyone to switch game providers when they are into slots.

The best advice I can also give is to limit your spending on gambling, you can't ever outsmart the casino, all you need to do is to keep limiting your risks, you can't say when you will win so you need to keep gambling till you win, imagine how this even sounds, all the advantage you have is the numbers of time you can keep playing with smallest amount as possible.

Many gamblers hate Slots because of the lack of transparency the game has, unlike poker and dice which I think people still prefer more than Slots gambling.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: December 12, 2023, 12:34:36 PM
When you manage to win, believe me, every gambling games you won is pure luck and you manage to win, you need to take your leave, and enjoy your win, plan to come back some time later and never increase the amount you are using to gamble all because you have won some amount, it doesn't matter because winning doesn't always happen.

Most times when I win it always take a long period of time before I win again, if I have risk all that I won it would have all been taken back from me, so do not let how much you win get control over your mind, the most profitable gambling method is using small money either you keep winning or not.

Instead of using time, I think the rounds I decide to try again is more important, and also the smaller amount you use will give you more numbers of time you can try again, especially if you are playing games like Slots, but anyway, stick with what ever works for you, the ultimate goal is to be a responsible gambler, don't fade that.
580  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Staying away from scam. on: December 11, 2023, 11:53:46 AM
The truth is, they are getting extremely good at scamming, the most popular one is using greed to lure people, and we all know that greed is something that almost all humans have in them, from free offers to fake raindrop links and also fake NFT and tokens sent to your wallet address waiting for you to claim them, little do people know that it's all a big scamming plan, once you try to claim the free things your wallet is a second away from getting drained..

The best advice I can give you is to avoid every possible free stuffs in crypto space, either through mails, messages or PM, or even in your crypto wallet address, do not try to claim any free things, and if you are someone who is deeply into airdrops make sure you don't store any valuable coins or assets on such wallet, use it only for airdrops purposes only.

Your main crypto wallet is meant to stay offline for more safety assurance, you shouldn't use such wallet for any Airdrop tasks or use such wallet to claims and buy stuffs by connecting them to a platform.
