Dear PotCoin Devs,
I have PM'd you but I haven't gotten any response from any of you.
Can you please post some kind of evidence showing that you have indeed received $100,000 in seed funding?
I have been involved in the stock market for over 20 years and I have NEVER seen secret seed funding rounds so I hope this isn't another ZETscam where the devs say they signed NDAs, and drag people around for months with lies after lies. I would not buy such a story and neither should anyone else.
Because real proof of such a large seed round [for an alt coin] would be a huge boon for POT and it would turn people like me into hardcore POTcoin investors.
Thank you!
Regards,
Vlad
Contact smokemon514 on /r/potcoinOr actually call the number: 1-844-POT-COIN. Devs are more active on reddit This is a major communication thread, they should be checking it regularly. And I also wrote them on twitter. I will try reddit as well, but this is not very encouraging. I agree, someone should be watching over this thread. And really... can't they update the title of this thread? The coin is launched already.

Someone know witch algo the multipool will use ?
SHA , scrypt , skein , groestl , X11 ?
Mine will be using both scrypt and sha256 once it's done development. For now, it's a straight PROP pool, where you can simply mine with your AC address and get your payments sent directly. I don't hold balances on the pool. The pool is: http://www.hasher.caTo mine: Username: your AsiaCoin wallet address Password: anything URL (vardiff): stratum+tcp://stratum.hasher.ca:3534 Cheers and Happy Hashing!

I am going to start making frequentish purchases of lower cost mining gear starting this weekend. Anyone have recommendations or know of some amazing deals?
(oh, and, um, is anyone going to fix Ben? I am fucking lost.)
Nope, noone is going to fix it, since there is not any discussion yet, what is expected result of the fix. I suggested to make it POW+POS coin, which will help to keep currently mined BEN rare and new BEN mined coins wouldl be just POS. There was no interest in any discussion about it. And since developer is not responding, community is not talking BEN is dying faster and faster. I already sold what I had and I will not buy any coin until there is any sign of trying to make this coin functional again. I'd like to see something done with it too. Perhaps we should submit BEn to here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=576714.0Looks like they resurrect coins...

Great, thanks. Make sure you've updated your stratum URL to:
stratum+tcp://stratum.hasher.ca:3394
Username = <your BEN address> Password = <anything>
I don't see any miners on the new pool yet, so just making sure.
Cheers, and Happy Hashing!
http://multi.hasher.ca:81/ does not load on my VPN machine, but yes, I do see myself there (on another non VPN machine). QUESTION: What happens to my coins in the old ben.hasher wallet? Will they cycle to my address? Hehe, not that value in USD is a problem now since the shorts are cratering Benjamins, hehe. I will be mining Benjamins on into the eons, since I am called by a 1776 ghost. Soooo, what can you tell me about this multi pool, other than the awesomeness of getting payouts right to my wallet address (great), what benefits and potential drawbacks on this crackfoo? Hehe, I mean, Benjmains is basically a hobby blockchain and that's fine, so hopefully you can just post how you see things going during this transition, for those of us mining? I will keep the other pool online until all the blocks have been confirmed. First will will shut down the stratum server for it, so no new blocks get in the queue. The new pool is faster, can handle more miners. I'll be added more features like, auto profit switching stratum ports for each algo that's hosted. So user's can choose to only mine the most profitable coins. Eventually it may even be possible to add auto trading as well, but I'm not sure about that yet. It's just a simpler interface for both user's and me

We just wanted to let you all know that we'd really like you all to start mining on our new system. It has been tested and is working very well. This new system doesn't require any account, you can simply mine using your own Benjamins address and any password. We will soon be turning off the MPOS pool and re-directing all web traffic to the new site: http://multi.hasher.caCheck it out now for connection details and start mining. Payments are sent directly to your BEN payment address. Cheers and Happy Hashing! Okay I am now on multi ...Thanks for sticking with the original 1776 blockchain hasher.ca you guys are the best and hopefully there will be more miners and pools who crave liberty and open code and noble ghosts of the past. Canada is a 1776 player as well, there is much to love about Canada. Great, thanks. Make sure you've updated your stratum URL to: stratum+tcp://stratum.hasher.ca:3394 Username = <your BEN address> Password = <anything> I don't see any miners on the new pool yet, so just making sure. Cheers, and Happy Hashing!

We've migrated this coin to our new servers (Updated stratum URL: http://stratum.sty.hasher.ca with the same port). Now with DDoS protection and faster all around! Earn some STY mining at the Hasher pool: http://sty.hasher.caPPLNS Mobile Friendly VARDIFF Support Worker/Block/Payout Notifications DDoS Protection Happy Hashing! We've now added STY to our new multipool site. Simple mining, no accounts. Just mine with your STY address: http://multi.hasher.caCheck it out! Happy Hashing! Rewards are halved again, now 93.75 per block. If you've been mining on http://sty.hasher.ca, please move over to the new pool. It's much simpler and pays direct to your wallet on each block. You can simply mine using your STY address as your worker name and anything for your password: stratum+tcp://stratum.hasher.ca:3424 The pool stats can be found here: http://multi.hasher.caCheers and Happy Hashing!

All major pools listed on mooncoin.info are down Sure makes cheap Mooncoins at Cryptsy. I shut my pool down as the mooncoind randomly starts chewing up all my bandwidth as well as CPU... the other pools probably got annoyed with that too. You should simply upgrade your server, if it can't cope with alternating loads. If you followed the average hashrate of the MOON-mining-network, it went from 300 Mh/s up to 1 Gh/s and back over the last days several times. That is not easy for some pools running on a feeble server. whatever. It could handle it, it was just a waste. I have coins that have had more than 1Gh's, in the 30gh's range and they do no such ridiculous resource consumption or bandwidth consumption. using 10-15mb bandwidth and 150-175% cpu for 18-20 hours isn't reasonable.

150 hours 29 minutes 36 seconds since last Block on http://ben.hasher.ca Pool That is just Ridiculous, any change in Difficulty/Block time will make these coins worthless even more than they already are ! I'm a BEN holder but it's the Truth Even the Heartbleed Fix hasn't been Adhered to, it's still running on the old OpenSSL... Solution is easy, make a donation fund for BEN, than offer those BEN to developer who will change BEN to POS coin, than there will not be any additional mining, just POS rewards, like Black Coin. No more BEN mining, no more problems with dificulty, just cool coin. Interesting idea. How do transactions get processed in this POS setup?
