aehm, any1 have the guts to arbitrage from cryptsy? After weeks, they finally just cancelled my withdraw request If you are able to predict prices 3 weeks ahead then I highly suggest cryptsy for arbitraging, unless it is for more than 20 BTCD, those are blocked This just in from Cryptsy support, where I have over 1000 BTCD stuck in withdrawals... We do apologize for the inconvenience. We are currently experiencing delays with BTCD withdrawals. Our technical team is working on this issue. I will update you soon as your withdrawal transaction has gone thru. If you would like us to cancel the transaction while we fix the issue, please let us know. Thank you and have a great day! After getting a single transfer for 15 BTCD processed within minutes yesterday, I chunked up my remaining 500 into 25 BTCD transfers and they're all stuck too, so I concur with James that 20 BTCD seems to be about their limit for blocking them, even to trusted addresses. I really have no idea why they do this, or how to get around it. Cryptsy Sucks Ass! yeah I've had similar experiences. They get you with pushing through a small withdraw, then they hang it up when it's a bigger one. I continued to hound them through tickets and eventually got out, and never looked back at them.

yes xpool is a multipool you get paid out in btcd
Ah sorry my mistake. Didnt know they had one. Yes, the multipool is www.bitcoindark.ca (btcd.xpool.ca) Current shifts run 24 hours, Monday - Friday and end at 7PM Eastern each day except Saturday & Sunday. The weekend shift ends on the Monday. Payments are then finalized and typically complete 2-3 hours after a shift ends. When a shift ends all the coins that were found and matured will have been exchanged and converted into BTCD. The amount of time it takes for the trading to complete can vary. Payouts are performed as soon as shift coins have finished trading successfully and sent back to xpool. Cheers!

Actually guys I haven't had any hashing power on the network since the end of week 2. I wanted it to be as clean as possible. I am now adding 5-6 Th/s so that we can get through this block. Some one threw rented hardware at the network and pushed the diff WAY up. Something along the lines of 200 Th/s. Anyhow after the next couple of blocks it should get back to normal.
On the bright side - The linux and Mac wallets should be out later today or tomorrow at the latest. ALSO!!! - We are almost done with updating our core!! So the new qt should be out this week!!!! Stay tuned guys!
it was just last week that you said you intentionally added hash to the network to increase the diff... I think you need to learn how to read better. Oh, can you explain how this was supposed to be read then? The rapid adjustment of the difficultly was intentional. Yes it sucks, but it was our intent to this to help stave off the pump N dumpers.
In context: 'If gold were easy to get then everyone would have it and it would be worthless.... The rapid adjustment of the difficultly was intentional. Yes it sucks, but it was our intent to this to help stave off the pump N dumpers.' He is quite clearly talking about the coin in general. I'm actually baffled why you do this. I mean are you just bored? I think it's unscrupulous of someone to create a coin and because it lacks the support & innovation, to artificially generate excessive networks hash to force the network well past the designed "10 minutes block targets" so as to protect their "gold". The hash rate is neither here nor there for me, I have enough hash at my disposal to mine the shit of it when it's ideal but the up and down effect they're causing isn't helping anyone. If they can't afford to hand out or cover blocks being generated every 10 mins, then this project need to be rm -rf'd I'm not bored but perhaps wasting my time as most in here can't see past the end of their nose.

Anyone lost sync? My has for the last few hours, it is syncing but stuck on 152 blocks to go
I woke this AM to find my client had lost synch as well. My client also lost synch but now it is ok. Maybe there are somethings change at BTCD implementation, e.g Your weight, Network weight Yes, there is a sync problem. mine is working and staking just fine as well. { "version" : "v1.0.0.0-g32a928e", "protocolversion" : 60013, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : ------, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : -------, "blocks" : 100384, "timeoffset" : -2, "moneysupply" : 1182961.71989498, "connections" : 16, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "--------", "difficulty" : { "proof-of-work" : 15432589.66327462, "proof-of-stake" : 0.00269771 }, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1405597880, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.00000000, "errors" : "" }

I was messing with my node and all hell broke loose.... Give me links to your pools so I can post in the OP to mine it I have it on www.hasher.ca the other pools I have are multipools but it's turned off again. www.xpool.ca & www.bitcoindark.ca

My take on current BTCD price action is that dev needs to spend less time answering posts and slamming trolls and more time delivering the goods.
This is not Fud. This is "tough love" from someone who has been in BTCD from the start. And sees an enormous timesuck happening lately in the wrong direction. This thread - and the coin - was best when the dev was posting code, not victories over trolls.
I think the post you are looking for is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=684090.msg8717360#msg8717360If you were in from the beginning you should appreciate more, the fact that James so eloquently protects the investments and interests of all involved. I'd rather see a delay in product over an out of control FUD campaign. Please spare me the "if" and the "should". The post your linking to simply states a rational to be always responding to every attack. My point is that that sort of blind responding becomes a giant timesuck that kills the golden goose. won't argue with that, which is why he suggested it'd probably be more useful for someone else to catalogue all his FUD busting and respond accordingly. I can't quite control/compose myself such as he can and I'm sure there aren't many people that can so this is where we're at ATM.

Polo says they are on the right chain. Make sure you send a small amount first and make sure it goes through before sending a large amount. Better safe then sorry.
If your having problems syncing only do addnode=107.170.166.51 and no others.
yes I was just about to come here and say that. had 100 or so just pop into my account. Can we continue on this chain for how long until it is swapped for v2? Thanks

Can someone be kind enough to answer my question to the best of their knowledge please? Which of the 4 is best applicable here.
If it is 3, has SEC been contacted ?
I am hearing rumors that Poliniex has been providing inside information to a select few persons too. E.g how many XMR wallets, how many BBR wallets, are opened in the exchange, largest holdings etc to give some an unfair advantage. It is going downhill and I'd rather some folks watch their backs.
I am guessing they are playing proxy for some who may have assured financial help in case of legal trouble via SEC etc.
It's likely best to take these questions to the people involved in that. This is SuperNET and it's already been declared why polo did not partake in this project.

A dev who (unlike James) hasnt hidden his identity and submitted to a full POD (highest scores on Cryptoasian and Coinsource).
He has much much more at risk then you can say of anyone else. It's nothing to hold against him. He is much more forthcoming and transparent then most any devs I've vested in.
|
|

they wern't asked to be a "part" of it. It was simply the initial funding which for legal reason's they couldn't do. I would expect they will be trading the UNITY assets once the funding is over as it will be just like any other coin then. To be a part of the SuperNET though, a coin needs to offer true innovation and pass a technical review.

lol I love how there are bagholders trying to pump their shitcoin with an addition to the supernet, this is priceless.
guess they missed that no fud post. They'll simply be added to the shitlist.
