I'm trying to compile the latest git pull and I find this error:
CXXLD zetacoind /usr/bin/ld: ../src/leveldb/libleveldb.a(db_impl.o): relocation R_X86_64_32S against `_ZTVN7leveldb2DBE' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC ../src/leveldb/libleveldb.a: could not read symbols: Bad value collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
not sure what to do with "recompile with -fPIC", where do I set that? make -fPIC and ./configure -fPIC didn't work...

im guessing this coin is dead. no wallet connections, no exchanges, no working block explorer, and no real net hashrate?
yep nice. devs bail on this one too? long ago.

I am just fed up with the two multipools. one should have sent me 0.43 btcd but sent me 0.32 (0.00430264 BTC at 0.01 is 0.43 btcd) and the other one sent me 0.143 Tomorrow I will be mining by myself and converting by myself.
it depends when coins were exchanged, but you can always do it yourself +1 Mine exchanges mined coins into BTCD throughout the day, so some days it works in our favour and some not, in the end, it should all equal the ~ the same. not to mention Cryptsy had an effect over the past 3 shifts. I've sent them a spreadsheet of missing transactions (75 tx's over 8 coins) and they've not processed withdraws. I've paid the BTCD that was already echanged out of my pocket, but I could only guestimate on the value of all the missing coins. The past few days I've filled in the gaps with ~89 BTCD of my own which... I may or may not ever see again. I've stopped using Cryptsy so should be more consistent again.

The weekend BitcoinDark shift payments are done on btcd.xpool.ca. 156+ BTCD sent out to miners on all 3 algos! SHA miners are making their way back to the pool but some X11 have left. Think this must be due to specific coin's rising and falling on each algo. Either way good mining support coninues
Cheers

great thanks. I've been bugging them about that and more so since Cryptsy is holding BTCD withdraws hostage. Omg no kidding. they emailed me and just asked if i wanted to cancel my btcd withdraw cause it had been 5 days. I am still waiting for one of my four withdraws, almost 20 days now Does anyone know what is actually going on at Cryptsy? I have been waiting for a sizable BTCD withdrawal for over 4 days now. They keep telling me the same song and dance about wallet maintenance. Personally I think they are staking. Thier priority was high volume wallets... So btcd should be one of them. Not sure if it's possible to tell how many btcd they have but I'm sure the trade off of angry customers out weighs the free btcd they get from staking then investing in IPO.

Just did getinfo:
{ "version" : 70005, "protocolversion" : 60001, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 2117824, "connections" : 19, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 0.27405137, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1394537861, "keypoolsize" : 103, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.00010000, "errors" : "EXCEPTION: 11DbException \nDb::get: Cannot allocate memory \nkrugercoin in ProcessMessages() \n" }
debug.log also has multiple instances of "Db::put: Cannot allocate memory"
Never seen these errors before, with any coin. Maybe a sign of things to come...
this coin was a huge hog on resources, CPU and memory. I likley used up all of your memory.

as i know so far, the dev claimed he would never be working on it any more since the coin had been launched, that' his very style.
Yeah looks like everything he touches ends up with little to no further progress.

Wow, We are at a record weight stake of 360000 !!! Lots of people HODLing !!
Must have went up cause Cryptsy isn't processing BTCD withdraws. Perhaps staking and keeping the extra 5%'s for themselves.

BTW - Someone here asked about the ATM situation and as it stands, the government is making it somewhat complicated to import these and combined with the fact that the manufacturers are not very willing to adapt the system for new coins, makes this complicated. Adding to that the exceedingly high cost of these units, makes it a very difficult prospect for widespread use.
We are now talking to business partners of ours in China who developed their own ATM, which is supposed to be lower cost and who visited with us in Israel recently and are willing to adapt their system to support Isracoin.
So, to sum this up, the ATM approach is still on the horizon, but not as close as we first hoped. This is also why we have been working on the other approach for making Isracoin more accessible, as detailed in the previous post.
You should look into the Skyhook Opensource ATM. Affordable and you can customize the source for any coin.

This is outstanding James. I'm setting aside BTCD for this IPO.
Thanks for your continued developments of BTCD and the innovations that go along with it.
Cheers!

I'm talking about the timeframe for arbitrush to be working? I've read a some of this thread but don't have a clear answer. How is this different from a centalized mixer?
Sorry about that I misunderstood! It works now. It's been since we released. As far as it being different from a centralized mixer, I guess in the concept itself of having coins sent to another server, transactions broken up, and re-sent out to the desired recipient at random times it isn't. It just works well and it's there for use within the wallet easily. Let me know if you try it and what you think. Best regards, syntaks can you add www.hasher.ca (sha) to the pool list? Thanks Sure I did it earlier on the site - www.neoscoin.com =) Regards, syntaks ohhh I see. I was looking at the list on the OP...
