581  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2018 the most crucial year for bitcoin? on: March 28, 2018, 09:33:24 AM
Bitcoin exceeded $ 10,000 in 2017. What's going to happen to Bitcoin in the coming year?

No one can really tell since bitcoins value is very volatile. We don't know what's ahead. We just hope that bitcoin will skyrocket by the end of the year or during 4th quarter. There are so many predictions about bitcoins price reaching $50k this year. We'll just hope for the best. If you believe in the technology go hodl and wait for the desired value where in you can profit from your initial investment.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: March 27, 2018, 11:53:39 AM
Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?

I used nano ledger S. Easy to use and safe as well. You just have to make sure you place your back up in a very secure location for you not to be hacked.
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin VS. GOLD on: March 26, 2018, 05:58:12 PM
Will the bitcoin replace the Gold? If there is A war coming everyone will run to the Bitcoin instead of the gold?
Some analyst  say that in 5 years BTC will be less than $100 while GOLD will be above 10K, your thoghts?
I did my risk mangment and split my investments, boght PAX coin to be on the safe side.

That won't happen cos you can't make bitcoin as a jewelry. They coexist together.

585  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What different between Token and Coin??? on: March 14, 2018, 02:02:28 PM
I'm newbie in cryptocurrency world. And I have a wonder about Token and coin which is digged. What different between them. Hope to receive your feedback

Tokens are made by start up companies as a representation of asset to investors who helped in funding the company's projects and it runs on another blockchain that aids or helps in making decentralized applications just like Etherium and Waves.

Tokens = do have value but won't be considered as money
Coin = money

586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think HODL is bad for your health? on: March 14, 2018, 01:43:08 PM
I find it kinda hard to HODL when the marketing is bearish... there is a lot of stress:p
Do you think going HODL might be bad for the health?Smiley

HODL isn't bad for your health. If you see your investment as long term accompanied with faith in bitcoin's technology then you'll be at peace and confident on your investments.
That's why it's best to invest an amount that you can afford to lose so you won't  be stressed out since bitcoin's value is very volatile and no one can predict it's value in the future. It's value depends on the acceptance of the people with the technology for it to be more valuable and become the best store of value.
587  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people buy high and sell low on: March 14, 2018, 01:33:01 PM
I've been one of those people, the people that buy at the high points of crypto and then sell low, losing my money and then later on losing out on a good amount of profits which I could've made. I'd like to know some of the reasons that people do this, besides doing it to cut their losses as that one is my reason.

Thanks guys!

If you're doing this, then I can say that you're an emotional investor or trader. If you truly believe in bitcoin and you have more knowledge with the technology you should hodl. You are one of the reasons why bitcoin's value dips. Nowadays lots of emotional investors are engaging in cryptocurrency. You should understand that bitcoin as a cryptocurrency is very volatile. You shouldn't get panic when you see bitcoin's value going into dips because this is just normal. Bitcoin has already  proven its worth few years back so don't be emotional and stay calm. Have faith in bitcoin for it will never die.

589  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Mga sir /maam question about freebitco.in on: March 13, 2018, 01:47:49 PM

590  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Panu po iactivate yung eth wallet sa coins.ph through chrome? on: March 13, 2018, 01:43:28 PM

591  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Panu po iactivate yung eth wallet sa coins.ph through chrome? on: March 13, 2018, 12:59:09 PM
I've read an article in regards the system of the coins.ph in their new features which is the Ethereum wallet. According to the article I've read the Ethereum features doesn't support the browser and the iPhones yet and they're still working on it. I tried to send an email in regards to it but i'm still waiting for the confirmation when will the Ethereum features will be available in the browser and iPhones.

Thanks a lot for replying. I appreciate it so much.

Salamat po boss! Hintayin ko nalang ang update para sa browser at iphones. Baka soon meron na..

Is it okay to share you my piece of works?

There's no harm in sharing a piece of work that can give out substantial information to everyone. This is why forums are made but if you're only doing this just to get merits and rank up for you to be able to participate in a signature campaign and earn money then your doing the wrong thing.

As much as I would like to please your creativity, unfortunately your subject kinda annoys me.You don't really introduce someone into bitcoins and point them towards this forum's signature campaigns as a medium to earn bitcoins. This is what is wrong with every other idiot who happens to the forum in 2018.

Bitcoins can be purchased from exchanges and signature campaigns aren't for everybody.
I concur.
This wrong way of spreading the word out about bitcoin is killing this forum. Good thing the new merit system was implemented to stop spammers ranking up for them to participate in signature campaigns with their shitty posts. This would really make a difference and lessen idiots in this forum.
595  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How deal with bullies at work? on: March 12, 2018, 07:14:53 PM
•How to deal with bullies? bullies at work not at school.

•Will I be mature and stay away or get another job what can I do? any suggestions?

•What will you do if your in this case?

No one will bully you if you won't let them. The very first time or scenario that a person is bullying on you at work you should've challenged him in a fist fight or at least defend yourself. When it comes to dealing with bullies you should always let them know that your capable of ripping their heads off.

Bullies will only attack those people or person that they think won't fight back. In order to stop them from bullying you, you need to make him or them feel that you are also capable of hurting them physically if they won't stop doing their thing on you.

You cannot avoid bullies they are everywhere. All you have to do is ignore them if you can as long as you are not doing wrong just work and live your life. They don't know you either and you know yourself better, stand up and show them that you are not affected and don't mind what they say.

Sometimes doing nothing when someone bullies you is like an approval. Bullies don't really know that they are already hurting someone. They do bully people just for laughs or just to give them pleasure of any sort. I respect your opinion when it comes to handling bullies but I guess the best way to stop them from bullying you is to fight back and let them feel how you feel. Just teach him a lesson or give him ultimatum when it comes to his actions.

Find another work and take boxing classes

You shouldn't do this. You are empowering bullies if you make this decision. If you are really scared of the bully just stay away from him or her at work. No need to quit your job just because of a bully. It will hurt you financially cos every company there's always a bully so you lose every job you'll have cos of your weakness that's why the best thing to do is man up and fight back.
596  Economy / Economics / Re: Know your limits! on: March 12, 2018, 06:52:43 PM
I hope you are doing alright.

The economy is a very complicated thing, I kept watching multiple long videos about the economy to look what I missed.
I am just a small letter in the whole bible, so I guess it doesn't matter. People believe they are different, but usually, they are not.
Plan a strategy and more than all, be patient and do not let emotions or urges get into your actions. Investments could be very nice but sometimes risky and harmful. Cryptocurrency, for example, brought the good thing, made every single person from his bathroom to invest and become a millionaire; that's a huge great thing but if you don't follow the basic rules it can be fatal.

In conclusion, don't put yourself above other traders or investors. Don't fall into the deep water. Actions should be taken very carefully and after a long smart thinking. I wish you the best! Wink

I was also in the same shoe when I started trading crypto last year. At first I was so excited seeing bitcoin pumped up and all other alt coins. It was my first trading experience and I'm very proud of myself for doing it right at the very beginning. I tripled my investment and almost lose half of it few months back when blood bath came to almost all cryptos.

I got scared and let my emotions take over me as a trader. Ignored the possibility that market will correct itself. I was so hyped with the trend so I got buried cos of greed.
Sometimes greed can make us all lose in trading. Since most all of us traders are very optimistic, we tend to get greedy when a coin pumps up we just can't stop. The contradictions from the supposedly trend just to follow our gut feeling, emotions and greed will always make us lose.

We should be glad we have experienced this kind of scenario in the cryptoworld for it taught us to be more cautious and could help us make better decisions in the future.

Patience and humility is really the key to everything. Goodluck to all of us!

597  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Life changing video for newbies! You should watch it! on: March 12, 2018, 06:12:40 AM
Thank you for putting that together to share with others.  As a newbie, it was easy to understand and very helpful.  Again, thank you, I appreciate the time that you spent to do something like this for others, it was very kind.  Cheers

Thanks for finding my video helpful. I don't care if others will say that this is a low content video as long as I was able to help out newbies in my own simple way.

I just watched your video, very nicely put together.  Thank you making this, I'm sure many will find it helpful.

Thanks for the kind words.
598  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Life changing video for newbies! You should watch it! on: March 12, 2018, 06:04:28 AM
I made a video that could somehow help newbies that are new to bitcoin. I'm not an expert when it comes to making videos but I just wanna try to share to some newbies that this forum is not the only place where in you can acquire bitcoins.

Hi Psylock, I think it's great that you are creating content and resources to try to help beginners, good work in doing that!

I have some concerns about your video, so if you don't mind getting the feedback I'll list it below:
  • This video is about how to earn bitcoin, you should title it as such because it's not a beginner's video to understand how bitcoin, blockchain, or mining works (which is fine)
  • Your suggestions how now to earn bitcoin leave out about 1 million and one ways and therefore may confuse beginners to think that bitcoin can only be obtained through doing unique bitcoin-specific activities - this simply isn't true! Bitcoin is money, therefore it can be earned through any way it's possible to earn money - from a legit hourly job to selling your car to selling your body - you just need to ask your customers/employer to pay you in bitcoin OR use whatever currency they pay you in to buy bitcoin
  • Your video has a lot of music and images, but very little words written; This means your video is low on content that can educate anyone, I'd consider adding written or spoken words or even some more informational graphics

Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it. So much words on a video would bore audience. I wanted to be more specific with my video and it will surely change their lives if they'll do something about it. You're saying that this is not a beginners video? Since bitcoin is a cryptocurrency it would be so stupid of people to think that bitcoin is not money. Not all newbies are idiots. The fact that they reached this forum proves that they already know that bitcoin is money. I'm not saying that these are the only ways to earn bitcoin that's why I didn't title it as such.
Sometimes its much better not to spoonfeed everything to newbies. Empowering newbies will make them better than just spoonfeeding every information in just one video.

Anyways, you find my video low content because your not a newbie anymore. Most of the newbies commented that this video helped them alot. Anyways, thanks for the honest feedback. I'm trying to help newbies here not highbies like you who just want to say that my video has low content. This might be unhelpful to you since you're a high rank but to newbies this video means a lot to them and they don't see it as low content.
