581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shyness in gambling on: August 20, 2018, 04:48:26 AM
In a regular casino, yes I do felt shy the first time I try to gamble. But in an online casino where everyone is anonymous, I don't feel like it and also it's not hard to bet using cryptocurrency.
Why do you feel shy? I think that is common because it’s what other people said here. It’s somewhat because of the fear of humiliation or not knowing anything about what you are doing. Being online makes it better.
Well, that is right. However, I still do not see any reason why anyone should be shy when it comes to gambling. Yes, depending on the nature of some people when it comes to interacting generally, they may want to tend towards the shy side and that is most applicable to introverts mostly, but like you said, since there are lots of online gambling sites these days, it makes better sense to just make use of them rather than having to interact with anyone.

In the world of online gambling, there will be nothing like shyness. I you recall about your poor performances and get fell shy on that. Other than that, there could be zero chances for shyness while gambling online in our home and gambling anonymously in gambling world and secretly against our parents and sibling.
582  Economy / Economics / Re: Government Exchanges on: August 19, 2018, 04:43:33 PM
You spelled "banks" wrong.
Governments will not have exchanges but governments may help banks to get a legit exchange and make it as legal as possible and you can have your bank account with bitcoin, that way banks can make it really easy for you to own bitcoin or buy/sell bitcoin.

Currently you can buy foreign currencies from your bank, back in the day currency exchanges was mainly business all by itself but now banks are making it a lot easier, if banks are allowed to do that on bitcoin, they can make bitcoin known by a lot more people and it can have amazing companies (banks) behind it so the trust issues with exchanges will go away right away, it could be amazing for bitcoin and for all of us that already owns bitcoin.
583  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The price appears to be going steadiliy up, time to buy in? on: August 19, 2018, 03:21:37 PM
Would you recommend buying in now at around 5720 euro, or waiting for it to (hopefully) dip down to 5400 euro again, as it has many times in the last two weeks.?
Well, it was time to get in a month ago too when it reached $5.8k. The problem is not "when is it a good time to buy in", it is more "does people freak out when price goes down?" because there are a lot of people who sell right when price goes down even 100 dollars. I have a friend who bought at $6.4k the other day and got afraid and sold at $6.2k like a day later.

People are afraid that bitcoin will go below $5k or even below $4k. Those are the people we need to convince to get in, not us. To me I will always have some savings put aside in bitcoin because I believe in bitcoin and spend the rest for my living because I believe in the project. As long as bitcoin market is holding up above $6k levels then this must be a great buying opportunity to maximize our holding up to the level we are able to. Keep buying, bitcoin will never disappoint you.
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will destroy Ethereum! on: August 19, 2018, 11:49:40 AM
This is a good article that explains why Cardano will surpass Ethereum!

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/op-ed-evaluating-promise-cardano-has-ethereum-met-its-match/
Cardano is just taking baby steps compared to ethereum. Ethereum has seen the biggest bull of modern times and allowed new coins to be imprinted on it with trust issue gone because people who started new coins could use ethereum blockchain to offer their coins/tokens even when in December EVERYONE was interested in new ICO's and there was huge organic natural stress test on ethereums blockchain.

Just because ethereum lost some value in this bear market doesn't mean cardano can destroy ethereum. Cardano needs to get a lot bigger and needs to be selected by the new ICO's and people need to trust it enough to invest into those new ICO's and so forth to just test cardano, only after that we can even have conversation if cardano can rival ethereum at all or not.

As far as I have read in cardano website, it is another corporate coin which still not having ANN topic in this might bitcointalk forum still people are rushing into its due to the reason of its cheaper availability after huge dumps in recent days and it is being traded in few major exchanges always with top volumes. No other reasons are possible for the hype on cardano.
585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: August 19, 2018, 10:01:04 AM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?
My situation is I didn't borrow money. I lost all my money in an online casino and also that day my friend had won a jackpot, so I joke him that can he give me a bigger tip, he insisted at first and explain him that I will return if I got a jackpot too but it didn't happen, he didn't think that it's a debt.
I do not enjoy games as much as I used to, so I use gambling as a way of overcoming that and thinking its just "gaming" when gambling. I spend money on gaming like buying pc games or ps4 games and you spend money on that and sometimes you buy skins and what not. However I can just use that money on gambling, I have been gambling for years and for years I haven't really gambled over my limits so now I am just gambling with smaller amounts and when that is over I just stop, that way its more like a "game" to me than "gambling" since I do not get too thrilled and spend more than I can't afford. It was the ability to put a limit and stop when I hit it that really changed my gambling life.
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling- Believe in Strategy or Luck on: August 19, 2018, 08:10:40 AM
I haven't found yet a special specification for a strategy when playing dice, just role and see you got win or you got loses.
Not just you, most of us haven't found any effective strategy to crack the dicing. Luck is the only weapon in front of us to fight against gambling houses. I have tried few strategies in dicing but none of them helped me to come out with profits. Probably I may not good in where to finish but my conclusion is dicing is not designed to get us profits but to entertain us. Hence, looking for strategies for it, just a waste of time.

Unless you bet on a match like soccer or other games that you only bet, I guess you need a strategy to understand the team that you are betting on.
Sports betting is the only type of gambling where we need strategies as well as luck. Yes, I was good in analyzing few sports still only 6 out of 10 of my prediction alone gives me profits and when I look for the reason, I concluded analysis is only 60% and the rest are our luck factor.
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoin be as important as Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2018, 05:42:11 AM
In any ecosystem, be it in nature or business, there is always a competition. And most often than not, the best always rises to the top. And here in our crypto ecosystem, a competition do also exist. Between Bitcoin and Altcoin. We all very well known that bitcoin, being the first and most proven cryptocurrency already took the center stage in crypto market. Now that altcoins came into the picture, where does it really stands? What will be the selling point of altcoin that will eventually led the bitcoin enthusiasts to finally switch places?
Among thousands of altcoins, I think ethereum is as important as bitcoin looking at the reactions of the people. It is a perfect usage of blockchain technology, at least better than bitcoin. There are tons of coins that makes one part of blockchain technology very important.

Dash shows how crypto can turn into a "divident investment" just like stocks that increase in price or decrease in price but still gives out dividends, which dash does. Nano shows it can be free of charge and instant, you can send nano for free in a single nanosecond. Ethereum shows how it can be used on ICO type of stuff. There are tons of examples I can tell but in the end the important part is, you can see many coins shows another great part of blockchain technology.
588  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, Who really wins? on: August 19, 2018, 03:19:29 AM

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-ethereum-ripple-bitcoin-cash-eos-stellar-litecoin-cardano-monero-iota-price-analysis-august-15/amp

We all knew that Bitcoin price is going so deeper as we can check the chart .  So we also know that the newbies always get panic with all this situation. They  are selling their Bitcoin  at the lower price  with frustrations  and even loses big amount of money from their investment . At this moment ,  who really wins?  Please share your opinions.
Honestly, the small people. Normally before all of this "bitcoin is a way to make money quickly!!" type of version of bitcoin, it was "money" itself and we people who live in different countries and have smaller amounts changing our lives have always been into it because we believed bitcoin could have affects to change our life to better. Even to this day I have been using bitcoin to get paid for my work and I have been really happy with the invention of bitcoin because of that.

Nevertheless, there are people here who wants to make money from bitcoin enough to buy a house or "lambo" and there are whales who have millions of dollars who try to buy and sell and make decent return they can't make from regular stocks or what not.
589  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN DOMINANCE, HOW FAR WILL IT BE? on: August 18, 2018, 07:40:09 PM
This got me wondering, anytime there is a fall in market capitalization, we have an increasing bitcoin dominance, current sits at over 50 percent, what will happen if the ETF gets approved, are we going to have bitcoin draining the entire market, since the ETF is primarily a bitcoin thing at the moment, Is it going to be say 75 % bitcoin dominance for a market cap of 1 Trillion dollars? What do you think? Good or bad for the market?
There is literally not a single chance that bitcoin will be 75% in dominance, it is insane to think its even possible. For that to happen all the altcoins needs to drop insanely while the price of bitcoin goes high double or triple of it is right now. When bitcoin goes up really high people realize the money to be make on altcoins and they move on to smaller coins which causes the dominance to drop, hence if bitcoin goes up insanely high once again just like December than there will be coins that will follow bitcoin. Remember nano/iota/dash or so ?

cLook at their prices now. They will once again increase like crazy if bitcoin goes up, not because they are tied but because people see bitcoin increased too much and they missed out so they want to not miss this time and get in early on altcoins.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: August 18, 2018, 06:34:55 PM
I think the more important part is that demar derozan was there for life if let it be however kawhi may leave next year depending on how they do. Which in return means raptors knew that if they kept doing what they were doing they had no chance at all of winning anything, so they decided to say "win big or go home". This year either they will go to finals and get couple wins and lose (best option) or they will just lose on conference finals or before on playoffs.

If the best option happens than they will try to gather back regroup get kawhi again and try next year and hope warriors can't sign all of their players, if that happens they will want to get a ring. However if the worst option happens than kawhi will leave and they will tanks to get some good players because "tanking" is the new way apparently.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST Betting-Dice-Poker-Slot gambling sites- Need assistance. on: August 18, 2018, 04:39:45 PM
Well you can start with checking out my signature of course Cheesy. After that the best dice website is beyond question is primedice, no doubt at all, stunna is the man and primedice/stake is the website to go to. They have all kinds of stuff you can want.

For poker I am not sure if bitcoin is there enough, without provably fair the trust element just takes up too much from bitcoin, I think pokerstars is still the best option out there. Dice and stuff like that has seeds and that allows us to have provably fair however in poker it doesn't work like that and that causes bitcoin poker websites to be a bit "shady" looking (even tho maybe they are not).

Going with best gambling house does not impact anything big with your final results of gambling but of course it will ensure that you will not get scammed by any means. If you are still a newbie and have not given any big try, I feel it is my responsibility to warn you well in advance to keep your gambling under control. Your control will be active only when you NOT frequent to gambling. I suggest you to gamble once per week or once per month is too good. Stay positive but never expect anything from gambling similarly do not spend big to it.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Whitepaper determined credibility of an ICO on: August 18, 2018, 03:18:12 PM
What's your take on the ICO whitepaper, can the information therein be enough to determine how successful an ICO will be.
Whitepaper can never be the only thing that can determine credibility of an ICO. However, NOTHING can be the only thing that determines the credibility of an ICO. You need to take a look at the whitepaper of course, it is one of the most important parts.

You should take a look at the team because the team also plays an important role, if you see a name that has been someone that really has been around for years in crypto space and has been a trustworthy individual and plays a key role in that team that is good too. You need to check what problem that coin tries to solve, you need to check if community is excited about the solution. You need to basically check bunch of different stuff to decide if an ICO is credible or not. Not just one.
593  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get rid of emotions when trading on: August 18, 2018, 02:14:42 PM
Emotions are one of the factors in cryptocurrency trading, we can easily control our emotions if we will improve our self control. I can now avoid loss because I can easily handle my emotions.
Just consider it like you are gambling away your money on it. If you are trading with money you can worth to lose than there is no problem, worse it could happen is you would lose your money that you already didn't need, if you are trading with money you need than there is no point because you are doing something very dangerous anyway and you should know the consequences of doing something so silly.

If you can't leave the emotion out of way I purchased "gunbot" last year and it has an "emotionless" strategy which I use to this day and it doesn't really make amazing returns but at least on a bad market it is helping me out. I bought it from my friend and told him I wanted conservative results and little risk and he helped me setup the emotionless strategy, its not making me rich but considering we have been in a bear market for the past 6 months, I have been doing better than most other people.
594  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm trying to buy some bitcoin or litecoin on: August 18, 2018, 12:31:18 PM
I'd like to buy some bitcoin or litecoin (ltc because less sharp ups and downs) but i'm having trouble figuring out the best way to go about this. I'd also prefer to do so anonymously... I could use some help. I live in the middle of no where basically so I doubt anyone out here would have some to trade in person. Any help is appreciated.
Litecoin is really good and has made the coinmarketcaplist as the number seven on the list. After a long time of being rejected by investors,  everything just changed and the price got up and investors started rushing it. I believe it is really good so if you want to go for it, you can do that. Bitcoin, we already know that one is the best and highly recommended by everyone so I really don’t need to talk about it.

the cheaper one is litecoin but you will see that ltc is very slow and bitcoin will have a lot of profit if you can invest with a lot of money but still be careful before investing prepare yourself mentally and good
Price level should be the criteria for choosing one asset, I do see many people are making such mistake while comparing the different assets. This fact can be proved by analyzing how much returns you will get for same amount of investment with litecoin and bitcoin for same time frame.
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Statistics about Bitcoin Gambling? on: August 17, 2018, 03:49:53 PM
I just wish bitcoinstripes continued its statistics page, that way we could have seen how much was wagered and how much was lost or won in those websites. I really doubt it must be really that difficult to get an api info call from those websites to get those information to show on your website, you just need to be a trustworthy bitcoin casino review type website to actually get the websites to agree with you and cooperate with you.

Now, if you really want to see the stats you need to go over to each individual website and see if they have something like that and hope you can see the general numbers in total instead of just yours.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Daily Fantasy Sports on: August 17, 2018, 12:42:48 PM
Honestly I have never been really good at fantasy sports. I haven't played it too long, I just played 2 seasons of NBA with couple of friends from the forum and have always been the last in the league or close to last. That kinda make me get cold from fantasy sports, considering I watch an follow NBA religiously, being the last even with me taking care of the team really well and checking everyday, I felt like I would at least be alright considering there were people who joined and not checked or checked once a month at max, yet I was ranked worse than them as well.

That made me quit fantasy sports, however if I can try out once again with bitcoin, that might change soon, I could be anon and no one would mock me and I can try and even if I lose badly, no one would know it was me. There is more pride involved in fantasy sports betting than you might imagine. Unfortunately I will have to wait a lot for the new season.
597  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 22 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: August 17, 2018, 11:36:27 AM
It is still unbelievable to me that after years of being the most trustworthy and most known amazing dice website out there and now having one of the most amazing casino websites with stake primedice is still like the early days. Stunna is here and when a customer has an issue he comes up and says he can help he needs this and that and he will try his best to find the problem and fix it and so forth. Not that many owners are like that.

I would assume he would have been like really busy and eventually stop coming around here but no he is still here everyday reading everything and making sure everyone is fine. That is dedication and that is the reason why primedice is what it is currently.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Crypto Market will Recover on: August 17, 2018, 08:35:48 AM
What You Think? add your Opinions so that users can understand better how crypto market will recover.
Price might increase around December time because that’s the same as it happened last year unless this year is going to be different and not the same. But price is down to very low now so there is no other thing than to start going back up, unless they plan to let it drop down to 1 dollar lol. But I very much believer that price will go up, cause if you check what happened other years that’s how it has been.

I think , it is time to buy, sell at the latest price and wait for one or two days. Then you will see the price is under your sale time, then buy, repeat the action so you will not loose the asset. if you keep your coins and not making such action, your money will evaporate in few days. The rest of the money will be down very low. If that happens, I think you will thing negative to cryptocurrency.
What you mean by "money will evaporate" ? You mean buying and selling will multiply our coins in this down market trends ? But I believe just buying and holding for months to year alone will help us to multiply our networth. Still, we must buy and hold only those reputed coins but many people do buy any random coin only for the reason of its cheaper prices, that is a very much bad idea.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing $10,000 what are good low market cap coins?! on: August 16, 2018, 02:32:01 PM
Low market cap does not guarantee for big or quick profits all the times. A low cap market may become lower cap market when bitcoin prices bounce back. I mean lots of care needed to choose while checking with low market coins. Some people look at only high and low prices but failing to read the real world applications. I must say for $10,000 investments bitcoin must be the right choice even it is having the biggest market cap of crypto world.

Yes, even with the real world use, it is still not a guarantee that any coin would get as big as bitcoin eventually anyway. The only thing is to be certain that it would at least get to hit some pretty good value in the long run based on the demand it is going to have and that is what is actually more important. Ask a lot of newbie investors today, all they are looking for is the number of the coins they are holding so that one day, it could get as valuable as bitcoin is presently, and make them get rich overnight.

Instead of risking with some unknown and established coin, I suggest to go with bitcoins when considering the capital here we are discussing about. Also, if bitcoin is not a choice at all then I must recommend to go for more than 5 different coins as diversification may ensure the expected profits for the given time frame.
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: August 16, 2018, 01:18:28 PM
I guess kyrie is doing all of this to himself. I mean butler might had a problem with timberwolves I wouldn't blame him however kyrie is just a diva apparently. His way of leaving cavs and after that he is pulling this off with celtics ? If you look at the contract deal, he will make more money staying in celtics one more year and signing a new contract next year instead of extension. So, why would he sign now when he can sign next year and make more money ? I hope that is the case, if its not than kyrie will just spiral downwards in his career and be lost and only remembered like jason williams as a person who had handles and magician moves and nothing else. Well that and the 2016 ring because he had a big part in that too.
