In case I close my account at coinotron, and my LTC, TRC, PPS accounts are below the withdrawal limits - can you trigger a manual payout for me?
Sure. Just send me email with cash out request.

This pool is some type of scam. Have been mining on this site for 26 days w/ 1.5gh. Over the past 7 days my total reward has only changed from .22btc to .24btc.. Missing over a full BTC from this month. My miners are not having problems. Shares are accepted. pool sucks
1. Pool uses DGM method, not PPS 2. In last 7 days pool didn't find a block. 3. Your total reward includes only estimation of current round reward. 4. DGM is a hybrid between PPLNS and the geometric method. That geometric part is responsible for behavior you are observing. It is hard to explain more accurately without going into technical details. DGM algorithm is described here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=39497.0 5. DGM will add those "missing" coins to your balance in next few rounds.

It seems payouts for TRC are not working. I'm well over 5 TRC and no payouts.
I was defragmenting TRC hot wallet.

I've been pointing my CPU at your LTC pool for a while now, using mining_proxy and minerd. It works slow but gets shares.
I finally installed a Radeon 6570, and use cgminer. When I point it at ANY of your pools, using default settings from your Help section, I get very few shares. I have tried it on BTC and TRC, as well as on LTC (using scrypt, of course). In other BTC pools I have tried I get shares (about 80-85 Mh/s) but in your pools I get very few, if any. (I was connected to TRC pool for ten minutes leading up to the time of this point, and got two shares only.) Has your pool been rejecting connections, or should I be doing something special?
Coinotron pools send shares of higher difficulty than 1. So you submit shares less frequently but they are more valuable. Here you can find actual values: https://www.coinotron.com/coinotron/AccountServlet?action=home ( BTC stratum uses share difficulty 4)

The auto-payout still isn't working, I've moved the goal post 3 times so far with the system passing it each time with no payout. Is there a manual payout option somewhere? I do not like having coins sitting in the bank this long..
PM me your account name: coinotron@gmail.com

Is anyone else having problems with guiminer saying "bad connection" only when trying to connect to PPcoin on Coinotron? All other coins work fine, but whenever I connect to PPcoin, it will run for maybe 10-20 minutes and then start saying bad connection. I have tried port 8322 and 9322, although 9322 seems to happen less often, it will still start to say that after 30 ish minutes. It happens on the 4 different GPU's that I have connected and I know it isnt an isolated problem as my buddy was having the same thing happen to him the other day and he got so fed up he switched to Litecoin. Any help or workaround for this or other people experiencing this problem?
Please use cgminer. It better handles connection issues. So, you're saying "please dump your preferred client for one that better handles the connection issues my pool is causing?" I'm saying: "please dump your preferred client for one that better handles the connection issues" Nothing more

Just in case I disabled payouts for all users with account names from LTCMine list of hacked accounts:
Only two of those accounts have some withdrawals today, so Coinotron definitly isn't "source" of leaked accounts.

I checked out today's payouts. There were no payouts to attacker addresses. I didn't find any suspicious withdrawals or significant brute force attacks in last few days.
If those passwords were get from another pool, it certainly wasn't Coinotron.

Sunny King Please introduce getblocktemplate RPC in next release of PPC. My pool is overloaded by getwork PPC requests. I would like to start PPC stratum pool. Unfortunately merging GBT code into current version is not so straightforward as in case of LTC. Otherwise I would do it my self You might want to have a look at my git forks: https://github.com/TheSeven/ppcoinhttps://github.com/TheSeven/stratum-miningIntelftw's pool (ppcoin.d7.lt) already uses those, and Vuxil's pool (vpool.me) is being switched over to that backend right now. Please note that in the configuration file of the pool server, you have to specify a compressed pubkey in hex notation (66 digits, starting with 02) instead of an address due to the nature of how ppcoin works internally. BTW, I'm also working on writing my own pool server right now. The work generation and share tracking parts are mostly finished, the accounting, reward calculation and frontend parts still need to be done. I'd appreciate a donation to PMWM8mwVYKDypzmUWCJW45bpKmFkBZtnLi or 12nsad13V93jXDMi2Y5WejRkr7Z3xZ41DG if this solves your problem Thanks for links and information. I will look into it. Nonetheless I would prefer using "official" version of ppcoin client with GBT support. As I understand there are also changes in python code of stratum-mining?

We created workaround. It works. All FRC withdrawals have been sent. FRC payouts are enabled and working again. Thanks maaku for your help.

my withdrawal from earlier finally made it to its destination
Yes, all withdrawal finally made it. But the problem is why it takes them so long?
|
|
|
Same issue, 130 FRC didn't arrive from Coinotron yet and an automatic payment accumulated 130 FRC and counting although it is supposed to go out @ 50.
Same here.. I emailed them but no reply :/ I suspended FRC withdrawals. I think, there is a problem with FRC network. It transmits transactions with very large (hours) delays. EDIT I contacted FRC developer. I'm waiting for response from him.

By saying that you connect with the LTC Pool, you know that PPC is SHA256, not Scrypt, right?
Yes, I'm mining with GUI-Miner scrypt alpha for litecoin, and I'm trying with GUIMiner for ppcoin... Maybe I forgot to write something in the extra flags options? [/quote] PPC pool is overloaded from time to time. It might cause occasional disconnections. Please use cgminer. I think it better handles connection issues.

FYI We increased Minimum Withdrawal Threshold to 5 TRC.
