I kept an eye on this thread, although I am officially out of ckc. In the back of my mind I kept hoping Bitsend stepped up their game and began a PR offensive to counter investor despair. But reading back a couple of pages I see nothing of the sort. Although I have lost my anger I can only shake my head at the way this was handled. It's a shame how a coin of a this potential was laid to waste by incompetence.
Same goes for me and I hope to see more getting accomplished by the GeoCoin community. I looked at Geocoin as well, because for me the idea still lives. But over there it's all talk and no substance again. The same as here (and basically every other altcoin) its all vapor. I am staying out of altcoins until there is one that actually delivers something tangible and useful. The market is flooded with copies of Bitcoin with zero legitimacy.

Plan B, help them figure it out or let them figure it out. But don't cry useless tears here.
To be honest they really didn't get that much funds in the first place, and the price of Bitcoin is in the dumps.
You are right, but I feel frustrated and angry. So please excuse me for ranting like that. I'll sign off and try to calm down a bit. Tomorrow there's another day in cryptoland, regardless of the state of things.

Has anyone heard that of a complete surrender of the project or are you making that up in your minds?
As far as I know it has been pushed forward, but that could be anything to even a year. In crypto, a year is an eternity. They hinted on the fact that they don't have enough funds to carry on right now. What really pisses me off though is that they drop that bombshell in here and just fuck off like that. Nowhere to be found to answer questions or to do anything to instill investor confidence.

Not before long, people will start talking about "a community takeover" that's the signal that the show is officially over. To each his own, but people buying now will get fleeced even more.

Wow..just wow. I wasn't expecting that, I thought a lot was going on behind the scenes. That connections were made and that development was going well. That's why I could live with the radio silence. Now it dawns that almost nothing is even remotely finished. I am very disappointed. Needless to say I am out. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

Gentlemen, you had my curiosity but now you have my attention.

My estimate is a $5 million market cap once the software has fully developed. Depending on the amount of coins, that puts a price of around $0,30 per Checkcoin. It's pure speculation, but that's the game we're all playing

so many fake accounts in here to dig embarrassing threads and bullish
The only fake account here is you. Your sole purpose in this thread is trying to bring down Bitsend and Checkcoin, if you hate this coin so much why don't just stay away? The only real reason for your trolling is because you want to buy cheap. I was trading FOREX and later Crypto while you were still walking around in diapers (and you probably still are)

This is just insane ....
0 proof of what has been done with our BTC since Day 1 and the price is still closed to ICO price.
I have never seen something like that in any others coins ...
Things you see in other coins: -trading at 10 % of ICO price -stagnant markets -scams -premine -empty hype With Checkcoin it's different, I agree communications are not abundant but I feel that it's a good thing. People are working behind the scenes and there are no attempts made to hype up the price with empty promises. The Bitsend team basically says "it's done when it's done" I can live with that, but everyone should decide for themselves if they can of course. The fact that the price has remained constant (give or take a couple %) over the past 6 months should tell you something about the majority of investor's confidence. As I said before, it's a strong hands game. Unique in crypto where 90% of the coins are hyped, pumped and dumped within 3 months. I am a top 10 holder and selling now would be the stupidest move ever. We have seen nothing yet, for some there lies the problem, for me there lies opportunity. We are venture capitalists in a dog eat dog world, so I understand the apprehension about the lack of constant updates, but scared money doesn't make money, remember that. The first rule of crypto trading is: do not get emotionally attached to your invested money. I have made money on both XCurrency and BTCD, merely by buying extremely cheap and holding in times of uncertainty. I knew the fundamentals of both coins were (and still are) good and as long as they remained constant, I knew a 5 million USD market cap was realistic. I feel the same about Checkcoin, it's essentially Bitcoin done right. This is NOT an investment advice by the way, it's just my opinion. An alternative viewpoint from the bearish sentiment here as of late. Everyone should do their own research before investing in anything.

I feel there are great things being set up behind the scenes. Remember this isn't your ordinary P & D coin, it actually has real world development. Not some shady newbie account hyping his own premined coin. I agree it's a game of patience, but I am in no rush. I've been here since day 1 and haven't sold a single coin.
Totally agree. These guys are not some amateurs looking to put together a quick copy paste coin just to make a couple of Bitcoin. They're a legit company with their reputation on the line and it doesn't matter how long they take to deliver as far as I'm concerned, I've been quietly accumulating every chance I get Any other coin in a similar situation would have gone under and disappeared a loooong time ago lol. CKC has remained at a decent price the past 3 months because people know that this not your regular P&D coin. I personally don't care about updates, I prefer the team to work at their own pace and deliver when they're ready Agree. Let's not have updates until something really meaningful has happened. Hopefully the people who cannot wait for news will sell out, and increase the meagre supply.. Yes I agree. This is a game of strong hands. All things considered, the fact that the price is still around ICO levels with all the "lack of communications" should tell you there is considerable faith in this project. Checkcoin holders don't easily sell.

Hey guys, I'm closing Suprnova's DP pool due to the Lack of interest, please withdraw your funds within the next seven days and Dev, please remove the pool from the OP, thx
Could you please wait? Tomorrow we'll get added to a big exchange, that should garner some interest. It's still very early days for DP Oh of course, i was just going through my statistics Report and saw very low activity on the pool for 2 weeks which usually triggers me to delist it. I will let it open and we will see what happens, just disregard my earlier message Thank you Much appreciated!

Update - November 18 ---------------------------
New friends have joined our team.
Cemal Demir - Lead developer Tamer Saltan - Co developer Arda Ahmetgil - Graphic designer Eray Erdogan – Translation specialist
We’re keeping working on the 'subvpn' feature. Testnet has been installed.
At first, system will be tested by integrating the wallet and daemons with the 3 data transmitter servers whose proxy+vpn installations have been done.
This feature will support 3 different VPN services which do not log or any record by no means in the first place. Everytime they’re runned, wallet and daemon will establish connection by choosing a different proxy server for itself thanks to the 'srand'. Those who wants to use their own SOCKS will be able to do that with no restriction.
Proxy access informations will be removed from the source code in order to prevent any misuse.
In addition to Subvpn feature, GUI will be updated as well. It will be enriched in terms of graphic as issued before.
We’re planning to publish the update for the both features on the promised date (November 28)
Nice job guys Can you tell us something about the exchange on the 20th? Or is that still a secret ?

I have a somewhat controversial question maybe, but please understand I mean no harm by asking it.
The last day or so Changetip has gone somewhat viral, people are tipping eachother on both Reddit and Twitter like there is no tomorrow. How do you (devs and enthusiasts) feel this may or may not affect Bitmark? BTM's main purpose (as I see it) is to tip people for content you like on the web. As Changetip is linked to BTC and has in this sense first mover advantage, do you feel there still an incentive to use BTM for the same purpose?
