581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 03, 2021, 11:57:56 AM
— Knockouts legal

That's all I care about.  I couldn't care less who sanctions the fight or if this will "count" on anyone's record.  We all know if Floyd loses this then he will kiss goodbye his perfect Golden Boy record.  No amount of, "it was an exhibition" will matter.  If Logan Paul knocks out Floyd Mayweather, it won't matter if they were pillow fighting in front of an old folks home, Floyd will never live it down.  This might be a ridiculous fight with outrageous odds, but Logan is getting the chance to do something really great and Floyd could use being humbled by a YouTuber.

Seems that crypto bookies removed this exhibition match in their list. Because it was listed before and now, it is gone. Is there reason other than they are not interested anymore on this fight? Is that because of no judges and no official winner read?
For sure its the main reason and as elaborated above;

— No judges
— No official winner read

With this its understandable that bookies wont really be giving out some line for this fight since there would be no winner.
Just like notblox1 said above that this would just turn out to be that similar joke fight of Tyson vs Jones.
For sure PPV sales would go low this time after those terms and rules above mentioned.

Does this mean that a winner won't even be announced at all or just that it won't be officially declared ie they'll state a winner but it's not 'official' and won't go down on anyone's record. Kinda lame if it's the former as what's the point in that? Skybet still have odds on the fight so they must be scoring it somehow. I guess someone will have to get knocked out for it to be determined. I wonder if Floyd is getting cold feet and made them change it to this. It's not like they can't score an exhibition match as they did so on the Tyson fight recently though that ended a draw.

Each day closer to this event I can't help but try and find reasons why it won't be held.  It's almost too good to be true.  I think the PPV numbers are going to be insane.  The videos as we get closer to the fight only make me want to believe Logan has a chance, but as long as he goes in there and throws some bombers I think we'll be happy with the show.

They can say no judges and no winner read, but we'll all know.  If there's one thing I can say confidently, it's that this fight won't leave us wondering who the winner was.  *knocks on wood

What's too good about it? I'm not sure the PPV numbers will be huge either. A lot of hardcore boxing fans won't be buying it so it'll be mostly Logan's fans bankrolling it I reckon. It's $50 USD in the states and over £15 on PPV here and I can't see many paying that considering it's going to be on at 4-5am in the morning. Wouldn't surprise me if it's a relative flop. Not something I'd pay for or even stay up for but it's the first thing I'll look for in the morning.
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 02, 2021, 10:58:06 AM
Looking at some of the footage that Logan put out, he looks like he's quite lazy with his strikes, and drops his hands after firing them. Which makes me think that Logan probably isn't going to get a chance to catch Mayweather. Although, I am routing for Logan, and might just put a small bet on him for the fun of it. Honestly, I thought the odds would be more extreme, but there you go.

He'll get KOd if he does that against Mayweather. It's always the mark of someone who doesn't know what they're doing in the ring. I suspect Mayweather will do what he did against McGregor. Just take it easy, tire him out then probably take him down when Paul lets his guard down or gets too fatigued and the ref calls it off like he did for Connor. I don't care who wins really. Might have put a tenner on Paul when the odds where 11/1 just for the punchers chance but not now they've dropped to  11/2 on skybet. Weirdly they're giving the favourite to Jake on the Woodly fight at 8/13 vs 5/4 for Woodly.
583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 02, 2021, 10:45:51 AM
Jake Paul and former UFC champion Tyron Woodley have agreed to a deal in a boxing match. This is another easy cherry pick fight for Jake Paul in my opinion. Woodley is not a boxer, he's 39 years old and has lost his last 4 MMA fights.

I don't think it's an easy fight for him. An interesting one for sure. Woodley has knocked people out before with punches. I think Woodley should win but Jake does have youth on his side but maybe he's a better boxer than many are giving him credit for. If he does win this I'll be fairly impressed. I was kinda hoping he'd take the Fury fight. That would have been a challenge for him but one that's not impossible for him to win given Fury's only won against 5 journeymen though he's only just getting started and obviously does come from a strong boxing family. Maybe it will happen in the future. I think once Jake starts to lose though his stock will fall sharply. He needs to keep winning then go for the megabucks huge fight against a superstar like McGregor or something. If Jake is making as much money as he says he is I think Connor will take that eventually, especially if he keeps losing in MMA.

nothing to lose for Woodley as well since he is out of UFC right?
this is merely for money, it will restore Woodley's rep and probably can go back to UFC if he wins the fight. we'll see about that because this is also easy for Paul. the joker had been trained as a boxer for a long time.

Well, there's his pride. If he loses to a 'youtuber' it's not a good look. He's already stated his intentions and that it's his highest payday ever so I can't blame him:

Easiest fight of my career and biggest purse of my career all in one night. Basically, they brought me in to take out the trash. I can't wait to shut this b—— up. This is getting done for the culture, the whole MMA community and boxing community, to rid this guy of combat sports.

I sent payments to tomahawk, harkorede, fortebet, kryptqnick and hahay.

@Trofo & @BitcoinGirl.Club did you settle that sidebet of ours?
BitcoinGirl.Club lost to me and I lost to Trofo - so it's easier if BitcoinGirl.Club pays to Trofo directly.

Please let me know when it's settled.

I see that the user did not log on since May 23th but I already asked that we settle this prior to that (my first proposal was April 21st), what's the recommended behavior for this?
How long do I wait before flagging the account?

______________________________

@BitcoinGirl.Club one more reminder for this. I sent you a PM as well, this is the 5th time I'm asking about this sidebet.
I'd like to avoid all the drama so please settle the bet you lost.

Isn't BitcoinGirl.Club famLFC on the pool? He came 7th so I he has 0.01 in winnings which I can keep hold of.

Also when is the final raffle?

What raffle?

There's a raffle for all entrants to win a trip to watch one of the Sportsbet-sponsored teams. Haven't heard anything from sportsbet about it but will message them about it.

Sidebets was always a trust issue, so agree,,, trust should be used to resolve this. But if I am not mistaken, this Bitcoingirl person has had several problems in the past supposedly with the account getting stolen before and then restored, and then name changed so it does have a certain history I would say is not safe. Sorry if you do not agree Bitcoingirl:)

These small bets are ok if you trust the other person but issues can always arise and with the price of bitcoin able to double or lose half it's value within a month so it's a good idea to collect the funds in so people don't run into issue further down the line. Many people will have every intention of honouring their bet but just might not be able to if the price rises significantly or they run into some personal issues.
585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool Discussion thread on: May 31, 2021, 11:40:50 AM
City were very lacklustre and got what they deserved. Only one shot on target the entire game, but then again Chelsea only had two shots also.

About pool, big thanks to @buwaytress for sponsorship. I just hope that next seaon we will have bigger pool. More players - more fun to play.

CL pool never seems to be as big as the others but I think I started this one late as well. I'll start it with a bit more time to spare for the next one. buwatress is just going to send the sponsorship fee to harkorede so no need to send any fees in. Just keep it for the Euro pool.

Who you guys got to win the CL final?  At first I was leaning Chelsea since 4.65 at that time seemed like value.  But the more I think about it and considering that I’ve been losing in these football matches, City is def the play.  Lol.  City and over 1.5 goals combo at 2.35.  What do you guys think?

And how many corners do you think each team will make?  Both at over 3.5?

Anything can happen but I certainly wouldn't back Chelsea to win. Both teams to score and City to win is a good one for me. Maybe combine it with a lot of cards as I'm sure there will be a few. Might put my favourite bet of both teams to score in each half, 2 corners each each half and 2 cards each. Not expecting that to happen but I think 2-1 or 3-1 to City so it's worth doing and I think 4 cards each is a good bet to include. I could see a fair few goals in the match though... or it'll be boring haha.
It is CL final, you don't play nice football in those game, you win it any way you can. I agree on the cards but I don't see this game finishing with many goals. I am expecting very defensive encounter and would not even be surprised with 0:0 draw in regular time. They will not risk much going forward but both teams like to do high pressing so I am hoping for some interception close to opponents goal as a way to break the deadlock early and give us entertaining encounter.

It'll probably be one of those games where there's either loads of goals or not many at all. There last match-ups have been 1-2, 1-0, 1-3 and 2-1 and both teams should be fired up for it hence why I could see a fair few goals unless they both cancel each other out. I'll be watching it but I'm hoping it's not going to be a boring one.

BTW Maybe I forgot something, but I think we still haven't paid sign up fee for this pool.

I was just going to get the sponsor to send the $100 they were going to put in to the winner. I don't think we ever agreed on a fee and I'm sure we'd have trouble collecting fees in from everyone so it's better just to pay out the winner from the sponsorship money.

Tyson Fury will beat mentally unstable Deontay Wilder so easy if third fight ever happen, but I personally think Wilder does not deserve anything after acting crazy like he did.
I am not interested of watching this fight again and if other people don't want to pay and watch it than nobody can force it to happen.
What I really want to see is Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua as soon as possible.

I'm sure you will watch it regardless of the outcome. I'm not sure why most people seem to be discounting Wilder. Fury didn't beat him in the first fight and he was very lucky to get up at all. Some premature refs would have probably waved it off and he might have even been counted out had he started the count earlier. Regardless of how much he acted like a sore loser after this fight he deserves it due to contractual obligations if not for the best of three. I'm sure Fury would have wanted a the rematch had he lost and you never know how a fighter is going to handle defeat. Some are humble like AJ and others cry about everything but it's not uncommon for fighters to blame ludicrous things. It would be interesting to see how Fury would handle a defeat and I certainly don't think it's going to be a walk in the park for Fury. I actually think Wilder is/will be a together opponent than AJ for him. I'd actually like to see AJ and Wilder fight at some point. Maybe/hopefully it will happen after they've got their mandatories out of the way.

^ Possible.
But if a legal case would exist on this, I think the Fury vs Joshua could really be moved. But I personally think that Fury could reconsider his decisions about this. Their match should go through, the previous case could be moved somewhere as per request. I will find it really disappointing if their match (FURY AND JOSHUA) will be affected by this issue. They just had it set and this thing popped out, is this a setup to delay the fight intentionally? Or is it a publicity stunt that would make the viewers become more interested to pursue the match?

It's not a publicly stunt. They can't do anything about the arbitration finally making their decision and we've know this was going on for quite some time, but Fury's camp should have mentioned that it was still going on and could cause issues.
589  Other / Archival / Re: The community created a petition: Elon Musk, sell your bitcoin on: May 27, 2021, 10:50:22 AM
Musk again writes about cryptocurrency in a good way. He used to say that Bitcoin is a little less shitty than fiat money, otherwise DogeCoin is a cryptocurrency that should be exchanged for money, and now he says that between fiat money and cryptocurrency, he chooses cryptocurrencies.

These constant changes in the vector of thinking are already tired of the order.   Angry

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1396049547680391168

I have expected this move by him. He's a wise guy, and a wise guy doesn't invest $1.5 billion in something and then makes it decline.

Elon didn't 'make' it decline. The idiots who hang on his every word and dump on the slightest suggestion of something that could be construed as vaguely negative. And 1.5 billion isn't that much when he's worth over 1.5 billion. I'm sure people will be singing his praises if he manages to sort this eco-mining council thing out and the price pumps because of it again. It already went up 5% after the news.

First of all, Elon Musk doesn't directly own any Bitcoin.

He owns at least a quarter of a bitcoin since 2018:

https://www.investopedia.com/news/tesla-billionaire-elon-musk-reveals-how-much-bitcoin-he-owns/

I would be surprised if he doesn't own more or hasn't added to his own personal stash since then. He's mentioned that he hasn't sold any of his personal holdings yet so I'm assuming he has more than a mere quarter.

So has the table updated properly yet? I'm guessing it has but it said that it will be finalised today and states the last update was 23 May 19:30 but I'm not sure if that included the current round as they can be slow to update the table and tomahwak still had his 15 point lead from before the round started. Maybe it was just a coincidence though.

If the top 10 winners want to PM me their address once the board has been fully confirmed I'll get the payments out sometime this week. If your username is different here than on superbru PM me from both accounts.

I'll probably start the new PL pool sign up sometime this week as well though won't be taking in payments until nearer the start.

Ten minutes to go. 14 players haven't done their picks but looks like half of them have given up already.

I agree. Ban toma, or make him get a Sheffield Wednesday penalty (let's say -50 points handicap) for next season due to him competing on a level made for football deities. No one should be THAT good;)

Toma is only 15 points in front. That's only really the difference of one great round really. As long as he has at least an average round he'll hold onto the number one spot but the top ten could be shaken up for those that get or lose a lot of points. With all the games being played at once there can be lots of leap-frogging.

Do I want to reach out to the person unmasked by hilariousetc? No, that's not how the tale plays out in my mind.

I was kinda hoping you or someone would try reach out to him and/or he would reappear to explain himself. It would have been nice he if just came clean about it all but he strikes me as the person who wouldn't be honest and would just troll further. I an surprised he hasn't reached out to you (or someone else claiming to be him) to try fish out some money from you for the last coin but maybe he's completely unaware of all this. Maybe he's best left be but I hope the law catches up with him at some point. If I can find the info out then law enforcement should be able to as well but maybe they're just not looking for him. I wonder if anyone from the Bonsai community took legal action against him.

I looked at the pictures and I actually found some clues in addresses.

593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Arbitration judge orders Fury vs Wilder 3rd fight on: May 19, 2021, 05:35:39 PM
Its the fans that lose out really. We've been waiting for it for a long time, its taken several months to actually get an agreement, despite this fight being the only logical one, and especially for British fans, its an exciting time to have two British fighters go against each other. If you consider their ages, 32 Fury, and 31 Joshua they are getting on, so there is definitely a time limit to make this fight happen in their prime. Especially, with Fury already retiring once, and not long ago he was saying he was just going to fight his last 3 fights left on his contract.

So while it might not be a big deal, and in some ways it might be beneficial. For example, less restrictions if they were to schedule it for December. However, are they going to be able to agree to that. Its taken months now, and it was the only thing that was on the cards for the two fighters. What if Fury takes a lot of damage against Wilder, which is definitely possible. What if Joshua takes damage, or what if either of them don't want to be fighting so close together for such a big fight. Which means we could be looking at next year, and depending on the Covid situation, and various other things that is not guaranteed.

Right now, we have a date August 14th. I would say, pay wilder to step aside, but give him a guarantee in the contract that he can fight the winner, and challenge for all the belts. Wilder gets paid to sit on his arse, and train for a while. The fans get what they want, Hearne, Bob, and the rest get their money. Then, the promoters can big up the next fight, where Wilder's right hand will steal all the belts of the division.

I'm sure people can wait another year or so and another year isn't going to age either of them to the point of retirement. Neither are past their prime and are arguably still in it. Assuming the Wilder trilogy goes ahead they can still get the first AJ fight in before the end of the year and it's looking like December is a strong candidate for it. Then the rematch can be done in the new year. As for Wilder stepping aside if he would for a couple of million I'm sure they would offer him that but according to Fury he wants 20 million which is ludicrous so it looks like the fight will have to happen. He was originally contracted for it anyway so it seems only fair given covid. It's still a huge fight and there's not going to be many more options for Fury and AJ once those fights are done and maybe one or both will retire after them.

I'm not sure if Wilder deserves it. If you look in history, generally only the best have trilogy fights, and I'm not sure if I can call Wilder one of the best. Plus, the excuses, and accusations made me respect him a lot less. That second fight where he wanted to go out on his shield, made me leave that night respecting more than I did going in, and he ruined that.

So, although Wilder definitely has a chance against Fury just from his dynamite right hand I believe he lacks a lot of skill in other departments, and I know the first fight was a draw, but I can't really get my head around how that was a draw. The knockdown he had was a good one, and maybe there is a claim for a long count, but other than that I thought he was dominated pretty much every round. So, in my eyes he only had one 10-9 / 10-8 round. The fact that Fury got up, and started to put him on the back foot right after being knocked down, I would say a 10-9 round to wilder. I just can't see how he made up all those points, he was getting schooled for much of that fight.

Wilder is a brawler, his boxing skills in terms of actually technical boxing are lacking. Probably, the most lacking top fighter I've seen. I've seen many fights, where he's definitely losing, but he has that one punch in him.

Well I don't think he got the chance to go out on his shield due the corner throwing in the towel. He probably would have lost either due to KO or points but you never know in boxing. Also, I'm not sure what qualifies someone to be the best and that's largely subjective but Wilder was unbeaten before Fury and held the WBC heavyweight title since 2015. He did nearly KO Fury as well and it was a miracle he got up. The excuses he gave were very petty and it shows what a sore loser he is but it's not uncommon for fighters to pull out every excuse in the book. Maybe Fury will have them if he every loses. The third fight at least gives both fighters the option to put it to rest though. If Fury is confident that beating him again won't be an issue then it should be only a minor inconvenience for him and he's still going to get the biggest payday of his life until the AJ fight happens.

There's no problem with this, after the Fury vs Joshua fight,  Fury can give this a chance, it's up to him, if he will not fight, that means he will break the contract and he will pay a monetary amount for that, it's up to him.

The amount of money is not mentioned in the news, but why would Fury not fight him and just pay him when he can make money and at the same time beat Wilder in the 3rd fight. If the marketing is good, they can make more money than the previous two fights, however, I believe Fury needs to win the fight against Joshua if that would happen first so the hype is still hype for him.

Fury has said it's 20 million:

Quote
Tyson Fury does not expect to face Anthony Joshua in his next fight after Deontay Wilder requested $20m to step aside and allow their bout to go ahead.

Fury, 32, agreed to face Joshua, 31, in a highly-anticipated fight in August.

But Wilder's team forced an arbitration hearing which concluded he had a contractual right to face Fury for a third time and by 15 September.

Fury said Wilder "asked for $20m (£14m) to move over", and added: "Looks like I will have to crack his skull again."

Fury posted his message on Instagram over a video of Wilder working out with trainer Malik Scott.

594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Arbitration judge orders Fury vs Wilder 3rd fight on: May 18, 2021, 01:46:59 PM
So still not yet over for Deontay Wilder as the arbitration judge rule in favor of him. They are now ordered to take a 3rd fight and Tyson Fury will have to honour the contractual clause.

So I guess the Fury vs Joshua fight will have to wait.

Not necessarily. They could just arrange for the fight to happen after the AJ/Fury fight or Wilder could be paid off to delay the rematch, or maybe they could do a deal with AJ that Wilder will fight the winner of the bout if it's an issue of Wilder not being able to challenge for the belts so he will still get a shot at that. I don't know whether the terms of the arbitration deal mean it has to be a title fight with the belts on the line which could obviously be an issue if Fury loses them but the fight does have to take place before September 15th so there's not much time to fit in both fights by the end of the year. It wouldn't be big deal anyway if they delayed the fight anyway in my opinion. AJ could just fight Oleksandr Usyk in the meantime since he's probably going to have to fight him as he's the mandatory and that could end up delaying the Fury/AJ fight at some point as well so it's best to get it out of the way so it doesn't cause any problems. I actually want to see Fury and Wilder fight again as I think Wilder deserves the third match. First was a draw and the second fight the towel was thrown in without his involvement even though he was likely losing or would have lost the fight but a third fight will settle any claim for either party. Once that's out the way Fury can concentrate on the AJ fight (assuming he doesn't lose  Cheesy).
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 18, 2021, 01:31:56 PM
Logan Paul has started putting out a lot of boxing content including a recent video where he fights four of the Gronkowski brothers at the same time and manages to get the best of each one. I am hoping and I believe that Logan is going to surprise some people against Mayweather. He has clearly been putting in the work to become a better boxer and I think it is going to show. I’m still hoping for a KO by either side, but I think Logan will most likely lose by decision.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to edited clips Logan Paul puts out. He's not going to put out a video of him getting knocked out or struggling to stay upright as he runs out of juice, so he's just trying to hype up the fight and give the critics something to discuss. I'd just take it as propaganda from him but I don't think the fight is going to be the walkover people think it's going to be for Mayweather. I expect him to win but wouldn't surprise me if it goes the distance or Logan manages to make it to the later rounds but Mayweather will outbox him. The weight/size difference and age are all in Logan's favour though so Mayweather just needs to do what he does best and dodge the big shots and hope he gets tired.

Be careful what you wish for. I doubt you'd be happy if he did dump all his coins. Something tells me people don't mind when he publicly announces he's bought bitcoin and he's a hero when he does but when he sells he's the bad guy. Calling for him to dump his coins is almost as childish and puerile as he's behaving and seems like people are throwing their toys out of the pram because the value of bitcoin isn't going the way they want it to. I think the bigger issue is how fickle people are and hang on his every word. If all it takes is one ambiguous word from him to tank the price by 5%+ then it's not his fault people are sheeple and act positively or negatively on his whim. I would rather have people like Elon on our side than against us and if people piss him off with their crying and hassling him then he can do much more harm if he wanted to and that's where the real danger lies. Personally I'd rather him just change his mind and start accepting bitcoin again at some point but he's not going to do that if people are attacking him, but something tells me he was getting heat or hassle on the environmental concerns front and since Tesla is trying to sell it's cars as eco friendly it doesn't really go well for their brand.

Musk also admitted that he has Asperger's syndrome.

Billionaire Elon Musk admitted that he has Asperger's syndrome. It is an autism spectrum disorder that is known to have communication and social difficulties but is often cognitive and verbal.

There are suspicions that this is just an excuse to have something to cover up their actions. Musk constantly laughs it off and comes up with various excuses for his ridiculous actions so that the SEC does not take on him. And it would be high time already.

I doubt there's a conspiracy here. His behaviour does seem pretty autistic to me. I think he thinks he's just being funny and acting like he's "down with the kids" when he talks/memes about dogecoin etc but it all comes across as pretty cringe to me, but if people want to throw their money at dogecoin just because Elon talks about it then that's their prerogative and if they get burned then they only have themselves to blame.

Bitcoin is mentioned very briefly in the film Save Yourselves at 28:12 in the shower scene: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7873348/

They're discussing money worries and the male character is just about to boast about his money in bitcoin before the female character cuts him off and proclaims "bitcoin doesn't count". I found it kinda funny to be honest.

Leicester are the FA Champions, I would not say it's not a deserved victory, but Chelsea deserve better too, imo.

Could this be the beginning of an heartbreaking end to the season for Chelsea fans, I mean imagine losing both finals and dropping out of the top 4, what could be more wrenching?

I'd be surprised if Chelsea beat City in the CL final. I know they won their last two games against them but I think City will be taking this a lot more seriously. Either way I couldn't be less excited about that match. I would have been had City won the FA Cup but a domestic CL final is never great.

hilariousetc, congrats on huge wins!
It's exciting that the season and the competition is almost over, and I feel like predicting the outcomes became way harder because underdogs are now fighting hard to finish decently. The last round was terrible for me, and there were many outcomes which had less than 25% expectancy rate in this competition. This round has clearly been more in accordance with expectations of participants so far, and I also got lucky with the Brighton - West Ham draw prediction.
How about you? Do you think we'll see significant changes in the top-10 by the end of the season?

It gets trickier when there's nothing to play for for most teams and a lot of them will start fielding weaker teams to give players a game. City have already won the PL and Fulham West Brom and Sheffield are all relegated so they won't really care what results will happen. The teams from 3rd to 9th are still contending for the Euro spots so they're the only teams that will probably be fighting for points. As for the pool table it's still quite close at the top from second down to tenth+ and the people outside of that are all fighting for a spot and a bad vs good week can shift the table a lot. tomahawk9 would probably have to have two very bad rounds for someone to catch him but that buffer he has will come in useful even if he does.

^  HOLY...  Nice!  If was in your shoes I’d be betting 10 - 30 bucks on those or try to get at least 1k.

Anyway what about this Leeds squads eh..  I think a couple more transfer windows they could get a Europa League spot and a couple more after that they could go on to compete for top 4 in the league.  If Bielsa stays that is.  And if they spend some cash.

Edit:  hilarious, did you wait for the line ups before making those bets?

Well that would be a good way to lose my bankroll pretty quickly haha. If I win big on another one I might step them up a bit on games where I think there might be a goal frenzy. Sometimes I put my free £5 bet on them but I haven't won with any more than a quid on them I think. They're great odds but they're also hard to come in. It's often the corners that screw you but both teams scoring in each half is also a big ask. You'd think a team would have at least 2 corners a half but many times they don't and it nearly didn't happen with City in the second yesterday. I usually put them on with the both teams to score and one to win with the 4 total corners and 2 cards each as well just to cover myself a bit and that one came in as well as shown above so you can double up on winning bets.

And yeah, Leeds have been impressive though inconsistent. I thought that they'd be fighting to survive this season but they've done very well. If they can keep their squad together they could easily be fighting for Euro spots within a season or two. They're going to have a hard time keeping Raphinha though and Kalvin Philips is destined for bigger things and I think it's only a matter of time before he moves on. I think the only thing keeping him there is he's a Leeds lad. I could see him at a squad like Man City within a few years. Meslier is great as well. I think he could be France's number one eventually. I'd be surprised if he doesn't go as well. They need a new striker and another strong defender. Bamford is so inconsistent. Sometimes he's great and other times he barely does anything or gets a look in. He's impressed me overall but they need someone stronger to play alongside him.

Some tough games to pick today and most look like draws or should be pretty close.

Newcastle - City was fun game to watch, despite that City were without main players. 7 goals, Newcastle leading twice, hattrick of Ferran Torres. Also, today Ederson was replaced by 35 year old Scott Carson - it was his first game in EPL since 2011. Not bad Smiley.

I didn't watch it but wish I did now. I cashed out this bet for £281 with 10 minutes to go but I only needed one more City corner to get me £450 which they actually got in the second minute of injury time. Didn't want to take the risk though as I was £80 down this season and I would have been very antsy and probably panicked and cashed it out for very little at 90 mins:

They're worth putting on if you think there's going to be a lot of goals. Won a handful of them now. They're not normally that high odds though. Usually 100-250/1 etc.

hilariousetc, maybe I missed something, but are you going to make prediction pool for EURO 2020? I see it's already available on Superbru. There is a bit less than month left, so, if we want to get enough participants, it would be good to start it soon. If we will start it week before Euro or something similar, it will be diffcult to get many participants. This season he had very few participants in Champions league pool and it wasn't very fun. It would be good to get at least 20 participants for EURO.

Yeah, I will do, but the CL and International comps never seem to do as well as the others in terms of sign-ups. The lower prize pool is probably a turn off as well.
