581  Other / Meta / Re: [SMAS] Signature Managers against Spam (light version) on: February 14, 2018, 09:51:55 AM
Are you really trying to say that I'm still posting low quality posts?
Yes, your posts are horrible.

You keeping me on your list is BS, and I suspect it is simply down to the fact I called you out on it here.
You think that you are important enough for me to care about you? Cute.

You're the most passive aggressive member I've ever seen on this forum, the fact that you were in a position of power for so long is honestly a miracle. Now that you've been removed from the DT list, the reign of Lauda is coming to an end, and so too is your relevance on this topic. The fact that you have any degree of control over anything is honestly a tragedy, you clearly cannot be trusted to make logical decisions anymore.

You call my posts low quality, and yet they contribute meaning to the threads they were posted in. What do you expect me to do, write an essay for every single response? Post detailed technical analysis of the flaws of Blockchain? Maybe I should post a detailed psychometric analysis of your personality, I'm sure you have at least one disorder, probably narcissism.

Remove me from your list you power hungry maniac.

2) Is there any notification sent to the member after he gets his name listed here.
No.

I read that you do not plan to give them negative trust, so how will that member know about this.
It is their responsibility to check. SMAS supporting campaigns usually leave a link to the list. If you apply before checking, then you should be both denied and neg. rated for attempting to cheat.

Are you really going to deny my application for removal from your SMAS list? You are clearly setting unrealistic benchmarks for removal, hence making any addition basically permanent. I think pretty much any other signature manager would be happy with the quality of my posts, I am not an extremely technical poster, but I contribute meaningful replies to the threads I participate in.

You added me to your list for "Low quality/insubstantial/repetitive posts". Are you really trying to say that I'm still posting low quality posts? You keeping me on your list is BS, and I suspect it is simply down to the fact I called you out on it here.
583  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: My backup strategy for the Ledger Nano on: February 13, 2018, 10:40:56 AM
If you really want to be safe, don't store the recovery sheet anywhere, use a mnemonic system to memorize the seed phrase. You can also use something like the method of loci, or similar methods to permanently store the seed phrase in your memory. Alternatively, you can generate a seed phrase, and circle the words in sequence in a book that you own. If you want to go one step further, circle those words in invisible ink, then use a UV light to read it.
584  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: February 13, 2018, 10:31:39 AM
They might have missed most of the trains, but the cryptosphere is growing daily, it is likely that there will be another 10,000%+ coin within the next few months. Of course, you will need to weed through the trashcoins to find the hidden gems. Honestly, I suspect if you were to put $100 on the next 100 coins to be released, you would turn a decent profit, as one of them is likely to break 10,000% and recoup your investment.
585  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go below 4000$ on Feb 20 on: February 13, 2018, 10:27:18 AM
Your technical analysis is DEEPLY flawed. Firstly, how you can begin your trendline from December, whilst forgetting everything that came before it? Microtrends do not pan out for the long term. Secondly, you appear to be suggesting that there each dip follows the rule of n-6, where n is the previous interval, and yet you only have two data points to work from, does that seem like enough data?

If I provide the sequence 1, 2, ?, ?, ? Do you really think that is enough information to predict the next 3? It could be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 or 1, 2, 4, 7, 11 etc. Terrible logic, would not read again.
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will adopt worldwide at the end of 2018 ? on: February 13, 2018, 10:21:31 AM
The VISA credit system took decades for development and worldwide adoption, I suspect Bitcoin may follow a similar timeline, but will probably occur much faster. A small number of countries have outright banned bitcoin, so truly worldwide adoption cannot be achieved. But in the free world, bitcoin is certainly like to explode in usage, particularly once the lightning network is finalized and stores can begin accepting super low fee transactions.

I predict a 2-3 fold improvement in userbase by the end of 2018, 10 fold by 2020. Beyond that it is vague.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most cryptocurrencies to hit zero? on: February 12, 2018, 01:27:46 PM
Why do you post FUD spreading random links like this? How real is one website's opinion on the future of bitcoin?

Obviously the website is heavily biased, do you not understand that Goldman Sachs is an international investment banking firm? Can you not see how they might have an agenda in bashing Bitcoin? Why don't you use your brain before posting such mind numbing articles.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Plentix Signature Campaign on: February 12, 2018, 01:08:51 PM
I have made an application via the form provided.

Reading over the white paper now, looks like a promising project that I'd like to be a part of.
589  Economy / Services / Re: 10 people to review in icobench [20$ per review] on: February 11, 2018, 09:33:03 AM
I'm willing to do this, however I will require payment in advance.

Also, the review I write will be honest, I will look over the website, skim through the whitepaper and come to a conclusion.

This may be positive, neutral or negative.
590  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Who ready to join my Team ? on: February 09, 2018, 09:23:59 PM
Please provide some basic details on your project, your opening post is far too vague and will lead to a lot of wasted time.
591  Economy / Services / Re: Bounty manager is Here. on: February 08, 2018, 06:22:29 PM
I think your only chance to be hired is to work for free, even then I suspect you will struggle to find a campaign that will take you on.
592  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a $500 loan pegged to USD, in BTC on: February 07, 2018, 02:05:17 PM
I don't think I've ever seen a USD pegged loan actually filled on here. Why do you think 0.1% interest would be enough to tempt someone to be the first?
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I have my wallet.dat from a backup but I can't remember my passphrase on: February 06, 2018, 06:54:33 PM
I would recommend Dave's wallet recovery service, I have had a number of friends who have lost their password, and Dave has managed to crack most of them. Definitely an indispensable service. Currently the rate is 20% of the wallet contents, payable on completion of the task.

Hello Hilarious, can you confirm that I've been denied for the campaign? I looked through your recent posts, but I'm not sure if you just haven't checked over all the candidates yet.

Kind regards,

597  Other / Off-topic / Re: Solution to poverty? on: February 03, 2018, 11:53:00 AM
The obvious solution to poverty is a universal basic income (UBI), whereby the government provides a minimum living amount to all its citizens, which will be just enough to the cover the necessities including food, water, shelter and possibly internet. Providing a free education would also reduce the number of unskilled workers struggling to find jobs.

599  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Colonising Planets on: February 01, 2018, 02:23:32 PM
I think it is highly likely that humans will eventually colonise other planets, possibly starting with Mars. The colonization of Mars will probably begin around 2050 as we begin to establish a permanent presence on the planet, continuing into the 2100s as an off-world relay system is implemented. Beyond our solar system, I doubt we will establish colonies on exoplanets until well after 2100, as the distance is simply to vast for us to overcome with current technology. We would need to develop better propulsion technology, shielding, 3D printing, AI and recycling technologies before it is feasible.

If the planet needs to be terraformed, that will take hundreds to thousands of years to complete, so this is certainly a long way off.

Payment received. Tracking details provided to the buyer. Parcel should be with you in 5-7 days.

A pleasure to do business with you.

Do you have any more? Or was it just the one?

I have three more, but I doubt I'll be selling unless the offer is good as I use them.
