5821  Economy / Services / Re: VIP forex and crypto signal for $20 and 10% daily on min $100 investment on: August 06, 2020, 11:51:47 AM
if you would have known tiny about Forex you would have understood the meaning of title
its 10usd for VIP signals and 10% daily profit on the investment whoever what to!!
And Telegram is for confirmation of our work so dont share your incomplete knowledge!!
and this post is not for you so go on

If you really are such an expert with 95% accuracy and ability to make 10% daily you would work in some top investment company and make millions each year, you wouldn't bother coming here and selling your "VIP" signals for 10 USD. All this is just a quick money grab scheme that we've seen so many times here on bitcointalk and won't fool anyone.
5822  Economy / Services / Re: VIP forex and crypto signal for $20 and 10% daily on min $100 investment on: August 06, 2020, 11:30:09 AM
95% accuracy and 10% daily profit? What a bunch of bullshit. Probably no team either, just a one man show trying to lure naive and inexperienced people.

I see that you previously offered bounty management and development services too. So you want us to belive that you are somehow experts in everything. Yeah right.
5823  Economy / Economics / Re: Virgin Atlantic Goes Bankrupt, Bailouts? on: August 05, 2020, 02:54:55 PM
Should the government bailouts the airline industry? What will be the future for the airline industry post coronavirus pandemic?
No, I don't think that governments should bailout the airline industry. We have that going on here in Croatia for  many years now, government constantly pumping  money in Croatia Airlines with no effect. They just got used to "free money", they don't care whether their business model has any sense at all.
5824  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ReflectBitcoin Reviews: SCAM or LEGIT? on: August 05, 2020, 02:13:49 PM
Pros of Using ReflectBitcoin as an Automatic Arbitrage Trading Platform

None whatsoever.

Cons of Using ReflectBitcoin as an Automatic Arbitrage Trading Platform

It's straight up ponzi scheme, hiding behind trading bots. That's what ponzi schemes usually do, they find some "explanation" for unrealistically high profit.

They claim to be operating for 310 days, with thousands of investors and hundreds of thousands dollars profit

But when you check their website you can see that their domain is two months old. So they are obviously lying.

Novi mjesec, nova mjesecna analiza

Standardno, svi podaci preuzeti sa @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboarda gdje mozete naci hrpu dodatne statistike

Broj postova u periodu 1.07-31.07

5826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Stephen Wolfram" says bitcoin creator is known classified material on: August 04, 2020, 01:59:03 PM
Thanks for pointing this out! I'm guessing people couldn't be assed to verify because it's in video format lol.
Classic bitcointalk, people talking about the subject but can't be arsed to watch few minutes of the video. If they did, they would see that guy didn't see anything remotely close to what op claims.

There shouldn't be any reason for them to look into his identity considering he can't really control Bitcoin, and he was never a controversial figure anyway. He also disappeared before Bitcoin was little more than an experimental currency.
Even if governments looked into that (since governments do like to meddle into the things, especially those that they don't control directly) and tried to figure out is behind Bitcoin, I'm pretty obvious that Satoshi Nakamoto is smart enough to cover his tracks and stay anonymous, as obviously that's what he wanted right from the beginning.
5827  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitwings promises smartphone that can mine 2 ETH/month. Ponzi scheme? on: August 04, 2020, 11:20:30 AM
What most of these morons don't realize is that they're bumping the wrong topic! Anyone in their right mind will figure out that this is a ponzi scam just by reading the title.

Keep up the good work, guys! Your masters will be very pleased to see you keep this topic at the top. Grin

That was my first thought when I saw it this morning, but now I I'm not quite sure that it's a mistake. If this was limited to to 2-3 posts then yeah, might have been a mistake, but we see them constantly coming here and posting that generic nonsense.

@Jimfrod confirmed that as well, that they require from bounty hunters to post in exactly this thread in order to get their bounty tokens. Incredibly stupid move by Bitwings, they just keep digging their hole deeper.

Edit: and here is the confirmation from their special bounty group. Forum is backfiring, change of plans.

5828  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: August 04, 2020, 09:40:50 AM
What if BestChange have something like this too. Im sure everyone would be eager to post contructively as having bonus for quality post is really sweet. But of course just a mere suggestion, as BestChange already covered a lot of payments weekly. Also I think its gonna be tough to choose with 58 participants if ever.
I was in Bustadice before I joined BestChange and I got that bonus quite often often, and I admit it was a nice thing to see your name among those 4 that shared 100 USD (rule says up to 5 but in reality its always 4).
But as you said, BestChange has much bigger number of participants (58 compared to 16 in Bustadice), so it wouldn't be an easy thing to do, to choose few winners each week. It would take a lot of extra effort.
5829  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: August 04, 2020, 09:06:22 AM
I'd recommend adding a merit requirement for all new applicants from now on. This will help to reduce spam, since those that haven't obtained any merit usually don't know how to contribute valuable discussion to the forum.
If you check the application form you will see that Best Change already included merit as a factor when choosing new participants. Minimum needed is maybe not explicitly set, but it is obvious that it is something that they do check.

Regarding this new change, more wiggle room, the better. And this new rule gives a lot of wiggle room.
5830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Stephen Wolfram" says bitcoin creator is known classified material on: August 04, 2020, 08:46:50 AM

Don't easily believe on someones opinion since by watching the video it shows that he literally doesn't know on what he is talking, maybe he's using the name of bitcoin and the creator to gather fame since if he mentioned about it for sure he will be the content of the talks of the crowd. So best not to bite that kind of statement since it doesn't guarantee any reality.

And this is the sure note on this as others stated no one knows satoshi and provably he will be forever anonymous on this scene.
Thing is, this guy in the YouTube video (Stephen Wolfram) didn't even say such thing, that creator of Bitcoin is known. I just watched that part of the video two times just to be sure and I have no idea idea how OP managed to get that conclusion based on the things said.

I suggest you do the same, check the video and you will see that this is just a clickbait topic title.
5831  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitwings promises smartphone that can mine 2 ETH/month. Ponzi scheme? on: August 04, 2020, 06:24:39 AM
Oh, an avalanche of shills suddenly in the topic in less than 24h, probably bitwings promised a few gullible idiots some useless tokens for this
Based on their post history, looks like they are all bounty hunters, so you are probably right, they promised them tokens in exchange for these comments. They somehow think that that this support will not look legit and nothing like paid shills, and on top of that, very bad ones.

It also shows once again that a lot of bounty hunters doesn't care whether something is legit or not, as long as they get paid its all good.

The Ethereum network requires gas to execute transactions. Ether (ETH) is the fuel used for this purpose. When you send tokens, interact with a contract, send ETH, or do anything else on the blockchain, you must pay for that computation. That payment is calculated in gas, and gas is always paid in ETH.

You are paying for the computation, regardless of whether your transaction succeeds or fails. Even if it fails, the miners must validate and execute your transaction, which takes computational power. You must pay for that computation, just like you would pay for a successful transaction.

5833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone in the Bitcoin ATM business? on: August 03, 2020, 04:00:06 PM
What about the laws or license? I think a person can't just install a device in a public place, that will collect money on exchange into something

Of course you can't just install BTC ATM, fill it with money and start buying/selling . You have to register the business, pay the taxes etc. And it's probably even more complicated to open such business, as you are dealing with crypto.

And what about the security? It might sound silly, but with enough effort, ATM can be simply stolen. Of course thieves wont get bitcoins, but they will sure try to get cash.
ATMs that I'm using are either inside a mall, or they are inside some other shop, so that offers them some kind of protection as its not just in the middle of the street working 24/7.

It's a risky business, and I think it only works if you have your own space, or if you can set bunch of them across frequent spots.
5834  Other / Meta / Re: Statistics Bitcointalk.org on: August 03, 2020, 01:06:28 PM
Makes you wonder what is causing it. Covid? People loosing interest? Other places to discuss? I have my own theory as to why, but it's not popular so I'll just keep it to myself.
I've been very active on various forums for almost 20 years now, and what I noticed is that number of active users is constantly declining for years, on all of them. We now have Telegram, Discord and other means of communication, so it's not a surprise that forums albeit superior ( at least for me) are not the first choice anymore, especially for younger generations. So maybe that's simply the case here as well.

Quality>quantity anyway, better this than inflated numbers due hordes of bounty hunter alts and paid shillers.

How is going? Seems like machines continued fast growth during Covid... has it been a good year for the BATM owners?
Honestly I didn't notice any increase in popularity of BTC ATM during this period, at least at my local ATM where I usually do the business. No queues or anything.
For example, it was much busier during summer 2018, when it was normal to have at least 3-4 people waiting in a queue, and quite a few times owner had to come to bring more money, people were cashing out massively.
5837  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Linkovi na korisne teme s engleskog dijela foruma on: August 02, 2020, 05:13:48 PM

Thanks.

Da znaš da nije. Hrpu puta mi se dogodilo da nemogu naći neku zanimljivu temu koju sam ranije našao pa onda gubim vrijeme kopajuci i tražeći.

5838  Economy / Reputation / Re: Members Asking For Donations To Help Poor People on: August 02, 2020, 12:44:18 PM
How can you be sure your donation will not end up being stolen?
Well I guess you can't really be 100% sure, when you are giving to some organisation or someone that collects money for others. My principle is, when I generally trust someone, I will donate and won't think whether it will be used the right way or not. I simply donate and hope for the best.

If you really don't trust any 3rd party, then it's best to help someone in need directly. If you look around yourself you will certainly see people that could use your help. Problem solved.
I often recommend that approach to those that say they never donate because they are afraid money will be stolen or used the wrong way, but when I suggest them that, they usually ignore or find some other excuse, like they will use money for drugs&alchohol etc(not that it doesn't happen ofc).
5839  Other / Meta / Re: Ban locked threads in Alternate cryptocurrencies > Announcements (Altcoins) on: August 02, 2020, 12:21:10 PM
I was going to start a new post, but figured bringing this thread back to life might be better.
It looks like the new method is to post a copy of a legit announcement with legitimate links and then go back and edit them later.
Still using locked / self mod posts.

-Dave
Is it in the context of editing the links, then locking the thread and preventing others from warning users about it?
Yep. They make copy of already existing announcement thread and use legit links( social media, website, github etc) in order to appear legit and to avoid getting nuked immediately, and later on change legit wallet with malware infected one. That happens basically on the daily basis.

That idea about automatically placing locked topics on the bottom of the board sounds like an easy and solution, with no major drawbacks that I can see.
5840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Hacker Arrested! on: August 02, 2020, 08:25:56 AM

There is a 100% chance that they are going to make an example of this kid, I'm expecting 5-10 years in prison at the very least.
Nah I doubt they will be so harsh. 5 years in a minimum security prison, sentence lowered due good behaviour, probably no prior record and age and he is out in maybe 2-3 years Imho, with whole life ahead of him.

After release i can see him working as security consultant or something along those lines and making shit load of money.

I can't believe just a 17year old teen carried out that high profile hack. There must be more to this hack talking about bitcoin and giveway. Just a teen couldn't have done that alone for what reason? A proper investigation should be conducted to avoid leaving the bigger devil.
If they really had someone more serious helping them, they wouldn't be caught in such a stupid way. So exactly because of that I think it was just those kids and not some kind of criminal mastermind behind this.
