i have just watched jojo rabbit last night and it is a good movie but i dont think they are getting any awards on those main category .
Jojo Rabbit is a good movie, (like all others from Taika Waititi, i suggest everyone to check his older movies, especially What We Do In The Shadows) but for me it is not Oscar material, in any category. i teared twice in 1917 movie,the first is when his Buddy died because of saving enemy's ass from the plane crash
and last is when he done Heroic job just trying to save the whole garrison from being salvaged and continuously when he met His Buddy's Brother and handed the dog tag and the ring.
For me few scenes stand out in 1917: -Scene where Blake and Schofield watch dogfight, and then plane goes down -Night scene with ruined French town -Soldier singing "Wayfaring Stranger" in the woods before attack. Very touching scene, probably best one in the film for me. Perfect film to watch in cinema if possible, it would be shame to watch that home on TV. For personal reasons I would like it if Parasite was the winner for BEST PICTURE 4.33
Parasite is for me top 5 last year, and even though it isn't best film of the year for me, I wouldn't mind if it wins Oscar, as i love pretty much everything what Bong Joon Ho makes. And it would also set precedent, as foreign film never won Oscar for best picture (Roma should have been first one last year). |

Damn thanks for that, for some weird reason i thought i saw him coming back on January 29th. Woke up hour and half early before works to see that game live. It was worth it, Zion showed why he was 1st pick ! Hype is real Yep, he had bad start, first 3 quarters only 5 points and then in last quarter 17 points , 4/4 for 3 pts in that period. If he wasn't on restricted minutes he would score way more. I might be wrong, but it seems to me like he lost a bit of weight. That would definitely be a good thing for him, to reduce chance for injuries. I am really excited to see Oladipo back. I actually missed him a lot. Pacers is 28-16 without him. They are doing great, what more when he is around. The chemistry might get a little whack in the start but I am betting they will still remember how they do it when he was there. Pacers were doing great without him, but just imagine how stronger and more dangerous will they be if Dipo can plat at previous level. I think most important thing is how will him and Brogdon work together, but I think it won't be an issue as Brogdon is a team player. |

Hm, this article got me confused, how could Jazz give Derrick Favors and Dante Exum for Kevin Love since those 2 guys already left Jazz ( Favors to Pelicans for two second-round picks in order to give Jazz more cap space and Exum for Jordan Clarkson)? Anyone else interested to see how will Victor Oladipo look after big break due injury? He is supposed to come back soon, on January 29th ( supposedly the same day as Zion Williamson). Pacers looked really good both last season and this season, and with getting their best player back they might be very dangerous on the East. I predict them deep playoff run if Oladipo can play as he did before the injury (or at least close to that). I always preferred those smaller teams, so i will certainly try to watch more of their games. |

It will be an intense match just as a match for the final, believe me
I don't know about Spain, but i think that we will go for win and i expect all our best players to play. Maybe some of them won't play full minutes, but i don't expect anyone to rest completely.. I would certainly like to avoid Norway if possible, but it kinda hard to go for that as they are playing their game against Slovenia day later. Even though they already qualified for semi-final i think that they will also go for win against Slovenia (who is underdog in this match, but has the quality needed to beat Norway)to secure 1st place in order to avoid Spain ( who I believe would be tougher for Norway to beat than us). Anyway, school example of game that should be avoided betting, imho. |
