5901  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How would you introduce Bitcoin to your friends and family? on: May 08, 2015, 04:21:29 PM
I will just say the magic words"Want to Earn More Money" then explain the meaning of bitcoin if they are interested.

I guess that is not magic word like you easily to said but that is just a common word. If you tell them that word, they will think you are doing bad things or may be gambling or anything that might happend. We need to explain to them carefully so they will understand what you are really do
5902  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: May 08, 2015, 12:55:27 PM
Governments are already aware of the blockchain technology and they acknowledge the potential that it holds and how it is going to affect and change the existing banking and financial system. But they are not ready to use bitcoin being something they have no control over. I'm sure they already have something in plan to utilize blockchain but as i said what they want is to have something that can exist alongside their system.

Yeah, for now it's really hard for them to use that blockchain technology. Lets say if they are going to implant it to the bank, are people ready for that? Still so many countries still need to know more about bitcoins if they really want to make this blockchain technology really useful. They haven't ready for bitcoins to become one of our currency and they can't even control the movement of bitcoin due to lacking so much information. May be it will be 5-10 years more this bitcoins will be used worldwide

Agreed. It will still take a time for the society to accept the bitcoin as a currency. As many countries are not aware and there are many many countries who don't even have access to internet so accepting bitcoin as a currency it would definitely need more span of time.

Which country doesnt have a internet access? I guess all countries sure have it anyway altough the internet so slow but still it can be used to do some trading or typing in this forum. I mean the downtown they must use it to do their works so its imposibble that nowadays people not using it
5903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: May 08, 2015, 12:50:16 PM
What do you mean by selling produt of bitcoin?

If you have a product then try sell it for bitcoins. Not that difficult to understand. People sell plenty of goods on the marketplace here though there are ebay style markets like cryptothrift where you can sell your items for coins.

But not all people gonna accepted bitcoin. In my country there are still people that wont buy it using bitcoin they prefer take fiat than bitcoin. I try to explain it but still they wont listen it and insist on taking fiat so thats the problem

What are you talking about? People only accept bitcoin on this forum and on cryptothrift, the places I explicitly mentioned. There are plenty of other sites where you can list your things for bitcoin too.

Of course in this forum people will buying with bitcoin but in my country I dont think it will going easy plus I dont think people will have any attraction to my items. I just can try to persuade them to play with bitcoin so everything can be easier
5904  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: May 08, 2015, 12:42:50 PM
I guess that trial and error is for the veteran not in beginner using because that is still hard to predict even tough you already calculate well but you still have a chance to miss it again. And for the veteran i guess they already know how to calculate it well
But all of we or all of the buyers of bitcoin used a trial and error because you wont perfect it if you didn't failed. But i think veterans tooks 1-2 years to master how to calculate trends. It takes time Sad

In the cryptocoin world it is not about calculating trends. It is about waiting until some big fish decides to pump one or another coin and jumping on the bandwagon (and off) at the right moment...

Just don't get delusional

But if you just wait for the big fish to do that. You are not making any progress, how about if they do nothing? We are just sitting like that and didnt get any profit? I dont want it to be like that, if everytime we can get profit why we dont do that? Why we are just waiting for them to pump it? We can try it other way right?
5905  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: May 08, 2015, 12:39:11 PM
because its growth currently stalled

Nope the growth isn't stalled. It just raise with a low volume and that why so many people said that bitcoin is dead and it will rise again not in this decades but may be will in the next. We just need a time to adjust things
5906  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: May 08, 2015, 12:35:27 PM
No neither its dead nor dying. Bitcoin has a great future and it will grow its value in coming years Once the Government start accepting as a currency it will grow more and that would directly increase its value so i don't think its dying for next 15 to 20 years atleast.

But how are you so sure that government will acppeted our bitcoin is this world? There is so many things that they must do before they are going to aceppt it and I dont think they will do that. There is fiat that government control so I dont think its value will rise with this kind of way
5907  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: May 08, 2015, 12:32:23 PM
You can also get a second job. And by the way having a goal is crucial, because otherwise saving will be meaningless.
How do you say that having a goal is crucial and savings is meaningless. Having a goal will added to your willingness to save. This would help your patient. But it will become meaningless if theirs something happened and you need to pull out a money like emergencies.
.
yeah better the deposit on bank or insurance. i think that's option for save he money

Insurance is not an option to save your money. With insurance you just spend some of your salary to it and you can directly cashout if one day you really need that money and you can't get all of it in 1 times. The pprocedure is to much when you want to cash it out

I think bank is the better option rather then insurance as insurance will pay you at the time of maturity. So what would you do in case of any emergencies. I think Fixed Deposit would be rather a better option as you can withdraw money whenever you want and bank doesn't charge for it.
If you dont know what you are going to do to save or to having insurance? Theres a company that required having an insurance mostly common is to have a life insurance so that if you are retired you can get a money every month or PENSION. Now every month your life insurance will be deducted to your salary every month and the left you can pay the bills or other payments or the rest you can now save.

But the payout of that insurance is a little bit low and you must invest first in their company to get it otherwise you wont get the pension, plus the regulation is to strict I dont think you can easily get your pension like that. And the payment fee is too much for now, I dont think its worth enough to put your money on that company
5908  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 08, 2015, 10:54:54 AM
The simple practice of risk vs reward is always a must in bitcoin. Investing is the more profitable option rather storing is the safest option. You should know this! Smiley

Yes its true but if you can do both why you only do the investment? Sure both is profitble but the higher risk always investing and the storing things is the safest way to earn some money altough the result is lower than investment but it still worth

Since i bought Bitcoin, the price decreased 40%, not a really good investment, or atleast it carries alot of risk.

But the potential reward is also good. I mean i look for atleast a 1000% return, so my current -40% pending loss will be dwarfed by the potential profit.

If you just invest in bitcoin better not to use that bitcoin for anything, just stack it as many as you want but its a little bit risky right? So if you really want to get profit better do trading with some of your bitcoin that you bought may be that will cover your 40% lost altough its not too much but its worth to try rather than stack it just like that

Yes I think this is the right time to invest in Bitcoin as the prices are fallen down. So If you invest today then it could be better choice as the Financial Guru's have predicted that the future of bitcoin is safe and it will reach to a new level so its better to invest right now.
Yeah make another income or a business to cover your loss in investment. Don't just wait to your investment or dont hope that you will earn in investment, have another income so that you can earn more profit and the loss of your one asset can recover by those left assets.

Yes bitcoin is the best option at present to invest. But I feel that if you are looking for long term investment then  Gold and Stocks are also better options. Just Own it And Forget it Don't hesitate even if the prices are going down and stocks you can sell at any point of time when you think that you are earning a good profit out of it.

Yes its true but actually you really need a real job so that you can save some of your salary to invest in this bitcoin or gold or stocks. If you got no money how are you going to invest in it. Gold is for the long term investment and the price is raise just a bit altough every year it will be high but if you want a great profit still better do bitcoin
5909  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I start Investing USD? (Betterment?) on: May 07, 2015, 06:42:28 PM
Just stay away from fiats, keep it all on metal, stocks (very few) and Bitcoin. All of the fiat you need just keep it on your local fiat, thats what I would personally do.

You can't ask people to stay away from fiat. With this fiat we use it to buy bitcoin. If you didnt have any fiat how can you invest in bitcoin? How can you do things? You need some like may be 20%-30% fiat then the rest you can use for invest or whatever do you want to do
And thats why we need serious jobs being paid with BTC. We can't live off the peanuts that you get with a signature campaing, but the thing is I cant think of any other "job" that pays in BTC unless you are running your own business accepting BTC.
Unless we get serious on that area, BTC will always depend on fiat.

Yes for now its hard to get any jobs that paying with bitcoin, besides campaign and translator i guess there is nothing to get more bitcoin. If you do gambling the risk is too much. And many people will lose it just because of desire to win. I guess some people should post some job for us to do

waiting for the wave to start, then i buy or sell depend on trend
For the newbie you always should be careful with your trading. No one knows when the trend ends. You may be left at the peak and not get out quickly. Don't invest too much at the beginning.
Observe first the trends and if you see that the trends is good. now you can invest your money any value you want.

Its not that simple. If youe really know the first trend, bitcoin is too volatile and you need to play it fast if not you will lose some profit. Like for example the trend is going up and you are buying and wait it till its highest then suddenly drop instantly and you still hope it will raise again. That will make you lose a lot from it
Yeah its not simple if you are beginner in cryptocurrency buy if you are veteran and you know what will happened to the trend for sure you wouldnt loss any bitcoin. In beginner you would have a trial and error so that you can predict when the trends going up or going down.

I guess that trial and error is for the veteran not in beginner using because that is still hard to predict even tough you already calculate well but you still have a chance to miss it again. And for the veteran i guess they already know how to calculate it well

Seems like I have to trust him that he has cash and is going to show up to the meet.  But yet he doesn't have to trust me and I have to prove I have the btc.  Doesnt make sense to me.  With hearing exchanges shutting accounts for using localbitcoins I am only doing face to face transfers.

Thats why you can use escrow to proof it to them and ask him to send it to the escrow too, after you guys deal and escrow proof it that is right escrow can start to do the trade. Let escrow do the rest, it will be easier. With using escrow everything will be alright but make sure you guys deal first on having escrow

No, what are you even saying? Read the damn post properly. It's a face to face trade. What are you saying about "ask him to send it to the escrow too"?
The buyer is just needlessly preoccupied. By simply signing a message no escrow is needed.

Im asking him to use escrow because its easier and smooth rather than face to face and need to confirm so many things. Paying escrow for a little bit but things went smooth whats wrong with that?

Correct.  I fail to see why I need to use escrow in a face to face trade.  Only response I got from buyer was that he didn't think I had the funds and wouldn't show up to the meet.  Which to me makes no sense at all.  Maybe he was just trolling me and wasting my time.  Purpose of this thread was just to see if this could be a scam of some sort.

Why should I wasting your time here? I just suggest you something good and thats all

Again, read the message. I insist on you doing so because otherwise your reply is completely meaningless.
He is talking about the buyer, not you.

Ok Im sorry, after I read it these is my bad. Sorry for the escrow things here. I thought he want to use escrow for himself

Hi! Cheesy

I recently created a thread asking for the best methods of gaining free Bitcoin.

Most popular results:
  • Signature Campaign (High Paying)
  • Faucets (Low Paying)
  • Trading (Variable)

Now, I'm asking a different question.
What are your best methods of growing Bitcoin.

Only refer to safe investments!

Thanks

Sell a product for Bitcoin.

Sell a service for Bitcoin.

Buy Bitcoin.

Mine Bitcoin.

What do you mean by selling produt of bitcoin? And for mining bitcoin is that worth enough since there are so many scam site outside and our hardword will be in a waste if getting scammed by that scam site
5916  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is freebitco.in trust worthy? on: May 07, 2015, 03:30:50 PM
I made a freebitco.in account 2-3 years back and managed to get some good amount of referrals.
Now I have forgot my account details and password and haven't logged in since more than 1 year over there but still I get 0.0001+ BTC every week for free Grin
Add referrals guys Wink

Yes its true that every faucet need to add refferals to get more but is this not kind of wasting your time? Because there are a lot of things you can do and earn more rather than sitting here clicking captcha
5917  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: local bitcoin question on: May 07, 2015, 03:23:19 PM
I only sell face to face.  But I've had messages from people that say they won't meet me unless I put the btc in escrow first to prove I have them.  They say they don't think I'll show up to the meet unless I prove I have the funds.  Could this be a scam of some sort?  I like to just get the money then transfer using my phone at the same time.  To me it doesn't make sense to go through all the trouble of making g a ad for the sole purpose of wasting 5 minutes of somebody's time.  Is there a way to scam somebody out of escrowed coins?

I think he wants the proof that you got that money with it, anyway that is not a bad thing to use escrow and plus he just want to double check. If you are using escrow make sure you got a reputable one so your coin can't be scammed. Anyway you just need to screenshot your bitcoin to escrow for the proof if escrow said ok he must understand this thing too
5918  Economy / Economics / Re: 2014 Poll: How many bitcoins do you own? on: May 07, 2015, 02:55:19 PM
I don't have much btc at all but I own other currencies that I can exchange easily into BTC which would probably amount to around 15 btc worth at the current time, not a lot really.

And why dont you invest your other currencies that you won to bitcoin? And start to earn with bitcoin? Its a promising invesment for this time and I think you can earn a lot when you convert in it because its like when you got profit it will be 15 times more than you play 1 btc

Right now I have 0.02012314 BTC

Is this enough?  Grin

It depends on what you want to do with that? But mostly its not enough for any investment
5919  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: May 07, 2015, 12:40:17 PM
May be one day that bitcoin become rare so the price will skyrocketing or may be more than $1000 but still its hard to become rare nowadays because people still dont know about it and for bitcoin, it need to become mainstream to every one first, so it will have a chance the price will go high
5920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NSA is attempting to crack Bitcoin? on: May 07, 2015, 12:29:55 PM
If they can crack mine, they deserve the 20 bucks I have in my wallet

Why they need your 20 bucks? Your 20 bucks is not worth for them, they aim bigger. If they can crack bitcoin then your buck means nothing to them and they have the power to control all of bitcoin in this world
hahaha dont estimate 20 bucks theres many thing you can buy in 20 bucks its still money. but you are correct they hunting the bigger bitcoin. So that they only snob you because if they stole 20 bucks and they caught the punishment for them is equal to the punishment to the man who steal a million or a billion, so they hunt the bigger one.

Of course, but if they crack him it will be to easy for them and the price is just too low. If they cracked bitcoin its harder and the price is worth to get so dont judge from the punishment, they will try to get it and delete their track from bitcoin so no one will know it
