5981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: August 22, 2016, 11:01:41 AM
lots of differant people use bitcoin everyday.
well i think not a lot of people uses bitcoin right now but i really use it a lot, i buy some digital goods with bitcoin and i sometimes buy physical stuff from ebay shop

If we are saying that we had a lot of bitcoin community who uses bitcoins,  Still there are more a lot of people are aware of bitcoins that we had now in our community of cryptocurrencies. Though many of them too they heard more about bitcoin but still ignoring the deepest advantage that bitcoin has.
the answer of your statement that i bold,i guess they're not ready yet, they just want to stay in the safe zone even it'll took higher monthly payout without bitcoin, doesn't mean they really ignoring it thought, but i can sure that they will eventually use bitcoin after they see it's quite safe
5982  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Question About Bitcoin Debit Cards. on: August 19, 2016, 06:07:02 AM
im not asking about bank fees,i ask if the bank i cashout the moneys from atm..knows whos the person who gets the moneys..
They may know from ATM cam footage if any investigation go with your card but about tax i think it will be cut instantly by banks as foreign exchange fee and transaction fee when you withdraw. 2k USD per month seem not that much to draw government or banks attention.
2k USD per month is quite high for third world country and they'll doing an investigation if the transaction was suspicious enough, for example you're withdrawing your money with anonymous debit card, they'll do an investigation whether you're receiving money from illegal activities or not
you must know that government is more sensitive than you know if it's about money
5983  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Paying and Legit Mining Sites. anyone? on: August 19, 2016, 06:02:30 AM
And the sad part is, there is no way for the authorities to stop those scammers. And i think if authorities will give a concern about btc world, mining or online gambling, it will be the end.. I will do more research about mining, but, as what i had experienced, cant helped and cant be trusted.
scammers can't be stopped, once some scammers stopped, there will be popping up another scammer, but decreasing them is possible by having law against any scamming activities, but unfortunately it's online world which almost everyone having the freedom as long they still remain anonymous,
5984  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: August 19, 2016, 02:15:27 AM
Even my company will pay me equal to my salary i do not accept in terms of bitcoin because there is a charge if i exchange it into fiat that is why i did not received my salary as whole like what i received now. i think you did no consider that that is why you want to accept bitcoin as your salary.
Oh sorry for that , because here in my country everytime we want to exchange our bitcoin into fiat theres no fee its all free if we are using our banks account or what so ever it because our bitcoin we using is partner with some banks , and now they are tyring to fix everything so that we can now use our wallet to pay , so that we can use it on stores
what country by the way?, in my country,we need to pay fee to an exchanger for every transaction so they can live from it and need to pay fee to the banks for every transaction too, except sending money in the same bank,it'll not charge us,and it's quite make me pissed off,i hope my country could be like yours but it's quite impossible, everything here need money
5985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving bitcoin a new name on: August 19, 2016, 02:11:03 AM
yeah, scams and scammers is a really big threat for the bitcoins name, i hope that in the future there will be less of such people though i doubt that it will change
scammers are everywhere,in every forum, every communities, and in real life,if there's scammers,it's definitely not the currencies mistake, currencies only getting used to trade or to pay, doesn't have a brain and can't spend itself, can't even scamming,so if bitcoin given a bad name because of scammers so does with dollar,or another damned currency
5986  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: August 19, 2016, 02:03:40 AM
I really don't see BTC as being something that will be able to overtake fiat someday.  People don't want to exchange money backed by the government for a currency that can be worth 10% less overnight.  Even if the volitility weren't there, people want security that Crypto simply can't provide without being tied to fiat.

BTC is a great way to send money, but at the end of the day most people would just use it to pay less when moving fiat.
definitely right, bitcoin only have a chance to be digital currency and to make sending money more simple and less fee, with fiat and bank we could get an insurance when something inconveniencing happening, just to make sure the money is safe and secure, and with bitcoin once you get hacked then all of money will lose, maybe in the future, bitcoin could have a solution for this problem
5987  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price hovering around 570-580. Is it a good move to buy? on: August 19, 2016, 01:40:20 AM
price is quite stable, but whether the price rising or falling no one knows,if you want to buy bitcoins now in order to get profit, this time is good, but still there's no guarantee that the price is going to rise, trading is about luckyness i do say
to be honest, didn't have plan to buy so far until i got the lowest point of the year, just gonna decrease my loses in trading and lowering risk
5988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need your Opinion on this guys! Please help. Best BTC WALLET for you. on: August 19, 2016, 01:38:17 AM
For you computer, I would choose to have Bitcoin Core as my wallet.

For phone, use Mycelium. I have been using it for over a year and I haven't had any problems so far.

As an online wallet, use Coinbase. I have also used this without any difficulties. (As an extra bonus they pay your transaction fee. Smiley)

Hope this helped for your decision.

Smiley
the only disadvantage of bitcoin core is you need to download the whole blockchain to be synced and it's above 25GB,for third world countries which have really slow internet speed and limited bandwith,it's definitely not a good choice unless you really want your computer to be on for the whole 3 days
although it's really worth it for those who want to put some efforts and make their bitcoin secured
5989  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex HACKED - funds stolen ! on: August 18, 2016, 10:19:06 AM
Bitfinex "hired" a start up software company, ledgerlabs.com,  to make the financial audit. what a fraud....! another one made by Bitfinex!!!!

How can the Bitfinex's clients to allow that?

Also, ledgerlabs.com is their friend.  Grin

A financial auditor must be certified, authorized. A software company cannot ever do a financial audit.  Smiley
I do not believe that their guilt for what happened there. Their safety should not cause doubt, and always should be monitored, and they are easily hacked and stole a huge sum. And now they want to compensate for losses due to users.

Compensate for losses? You mean they will make people pay with their own money for the noobish security the exchange was having, right? That's what is happening here.
users's balance will be cut off 36% and it's really not a win-win solution, the users suffering because of bitfinex's mistake,it's such a joke of the year
i think users already paying all the fees and it's enough for them to get the security and safety, this exchanger is really bad
5990  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Freebitco.in accounts on: August 18, 2016, 10:12:57 AM
i guess you can't,they're having withdrawal limts to decrease the amount of withdrawal every day,so if they have such features, the withdrawal limit will lose its point,if you really want that bitcoin, maybe you can sell your account to anywhere else but the bitcoin that will you get is surely lower than the amount in the account
5991  Economy / Speculation / Re: Kim Dotcom Predict 2000$ per Bitcoin ??!! on: August 18, 2016, 09:00:47 AM
Lets not thought kim Dotcom of his predict, this could take place in the future who knows....been hearing conversation about this...though it might seem untrue untill we see it in taking place action...it might be true to what kim...though btc value changes, but still we can see rise...
atleast he's backed up his statement/speculation with some plan and action,he'll release bitcache so it does make sense if he's speculating, although i'm sure this service might give an affect to bitcoin, beside of it, whether it'll be success or not it's all about the time
5992  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: August 18, 2016, 08:57:12 AM
Without fiat we cannot transact easily online

but.. but.. bitcorn is designed for that.
how could fiat be easier?
well i guess he's talking about credit card or debit card which is nowaday still better for buying things online because it doesn't need confirmation or what else, but it's still lack of security, once people known his credit card data, then probably the credit card will be used for illegal activities
5993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: August 17, 2016, 10:31:04 AM
All those FUDsters that where saying year ago how Bitcoin would fail because another currency would take over get proven wrong year after year. The more time Bticoin is alive, the stronger it gets and the bigger the network effect. Sorry but there will not be a Bitcoin 2.0. Bitcoin will go to 100k+ per coin in the next 5 to 10 years, it will absorb all the value researched in the field if not directly through protocol improvements then through sidechains.

Bitcoin will remain the only solid coin. The only coin that survived for the longest time (other coins can't claim this unless they invent a time machine).
There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity. No coin will get a bigger marketcap. In the long term people holding 21+ BTC will be rewarded by history with rich-tier status for seeing the value in it before most people did. Do not let the FUDsters trick your mind or the trolls try to derrail the excellent job being done by Core devs.

Let's continue then our path towards inevitable triumph.

You are right. No altcoin can compete with bitcoin and btc will stay strong and grow.

All the other cryptocurrencies exist because of bitcoin and without btc, they won`t survive.

I don`t care about the "FUDsters".
you're right, even there's so many altcoin out there that have many features or even better than bitcoin, bitcoin still remain to be the stronger cryptocurrency, because it's the first cryptocurrency and already popular everywhere, the rest coin is just only for trading
5994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin moved above $10,000 USD per coin what would you do? on: August 17, 2016, 09:30:33 AM
I am sure the majority of the people would have already sold their coins between the $1000-$2000 levels. But just for the sake of answering this question directly. I would cash out probably 25-50% of my total coin count. This is assuming I keep holding the coins that I have now till that price level.
if the price were rising fast i guess they won't,the one which makes people selling their coin massly is a price falling which will make them panic and at the end it will become panic selling, they'll keep holding until it reach the peak and the price falling little bit,it's the rightest time i guess
5995  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safe wallet for a newbie on: August 17, 2016, 06:52:44 AM
For me it only depends on the online wallet in different country, but me i am using 2 bitcoin wallet which have good services offered to the users. and i think blockchain.info is much safes wallet for the newbie but in reality there is no online wallet is safe.

I think most wallet services are provided in different countries so if X secure wallet in V state then it is safe also in W state . And blockchain.info in my opinion is a secure wallet for anyone including newbie or expert. if you think there is no online wallet safe, why do they services still exist? Because to me more inclined to the users themselves. And it's safe or not depends on the individual who uses. IMO
blockchain.info is indeed a safe option but if you're going to save so damn many amount of bitcoin, dealing with blockchain.info is such a bad thing, better run a desktop wallet or even hardware wallet, just keep in mind if you're seeking for security, online wallet is not that good
5996  Other / Off-topic / Re: I will invest! on: August 17, 2016, 06:45:56 AM
You certainly will need a good investment plan and be aware that the crypto market,
even the btc/usd market, is still very volatile and therefore risky.

Having  a good investment plan would be the most important thing to consider if you are planning to jump in into trading and you are right  crytocurrency is  too volatile  which is very risky and you cant predict the movement of price of a certain currency. Proper research  on  market information would be also helpful for you.
the ones that makes so many traders out there trying to get profit from bitcoin is its volatile characteristic, and just conclude trading is the same as investment at this point, the volatility is a disadvantage for many people who use bitcoin as a normal currency out there and an advantage for traders, that's the point,so if you seeking for profit, the volatility will be good for you
5997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Companies Who Reimburse Losses Stay Alive on: August 17, 2016, 06:39:47 AM
A recent blog post from Xapo called “What happens if Xapo gets hacked?” the company discusses the unfortunate Bitfinex heist that took place on August 2, 2016. Xapo says that if they were compromised the company would cover the losses from its own reserve. This is a glaring difference to the many exchanges that failed to reimburse their customers.

It will be interesting to see how Bitfinex fares after their losses as it was the biggest Bitcoin exchange heist since the demise of Mt Gox. It’s safe to say exchanges that don’t pay their customers back in full will discourage new users from entering the Bitcoin space.

https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-reimburse-losses-stay-alive/

Yeah, right. And what happens when Xapo reserves get hacked? Grin

Maybe Xapo customers will reimburse Xapo for their lost reserves.

Just kidding. Grin
just like their statement, they'll pay and cover the losses by their own reserves,if their reserves get hacked,i guess they have other reserves in form of fiat and not bitcoin, just say they have a backup money,it's indeed a marketing language to attract other exchanger's customer to get into xapo service but if this statement really true, atleast not bullshit,it's good
5998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: August 17, 2016, 06:36:31 AM
Bitcoin is accepted in my country i have to be honest to say visa\mastercard are widely used than bitcoin in many countries include mine .
well credit card still dominate the entire digital transaction and IRL transaction until now and bitcoin is going to chase it,because honestly, bitcoin still not good or efficient enough to be payment option due to the blockchain system which require confirmation, even bitcoin debit card makes the visa and mastercard domination even more higher
5999  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Authorize log-in attempt - someone know my password? on: August 16, 2016, 03:30:47 PM
maybe you just getting trapped into a phising website, just for information that blockchain.info have so many clone website that had been created by hacker to steal your data,so beware, better to change your password right now,or atleast change your password periodically and be sure to not forget the pasword
6000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: August 16, 2016, 03:28:37 PM
I think the same.
Altcoin to me is just a way to multiply my bitcoins, sometimes all my bitcoins are invested in a few altcoins but in the end i sell all of them for more bitcoins.

I agree to this as no Altcoins can be compared to bitcoins.  None of the Altcoin is near in terms of volume or price to bitcoins. People buy altcoin just to get the profit and then sell them again for bitcoins.
until now it's definitely true, i haven't seen real efforts by those devs to make their altcoin to be a primary cryptocurrency and trying to be used anywhere instead of just making ICO,letting it get into the exchangers and then leave, such an irony even altcoins released every month
