61  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Rise of Crypto Gambling: What You Need to Know on: June 27, 2024, 08:47:12 PM
In fact, we see that progress in the field of gambling does not stop. Yes, we are seeing an exciting thing - how Bitcoin and web3 in general are gradually taking over the gambling industry. And this is just the beginning. Gradually, we will come to the point that few people from casinos and bookmakers will ask for CUS. While this phenomenon is not widespread, casinos can be understood because they are regulated organizations. But, as I already mentioned, progress does not stand still. I assume that anonymous coins such as Monero will gradually be introduced into the space. Over time, the CUS procedure will die out. For its death, it is enough for several truly decentralized gambling technologies to appear.
Sorry to spoil your enthusiasm but lately I experienced some blockage in some casinos that I use but it only happens whenever I use my Wi-Fi and not my mobile data. They are not the same networks. I'm only hoping that my other network won't do the same thing. BTC is the main crypto, so I wouldn't say that it is gradually taking over because it happened already long time ago. Web3's are not new either but its development is slow.

I guess this is because people prefer full centralized services nowadays. We are already used to them anyways, so I think this is not something that will still bothered us. IDK what is that CUS you mean but I might researched this later on my vacant time.

Is that specific to your locality or country? Gambling is always in the regulators eye unfortunately, it may cause all short of temporary or permanent prboblems with access.  I am sure the sites can also mover around and most of the times they will be able to figure out how to get past the regulation of some countries, but in some others it may simply be impossible - too harsh laws and punishments.

Why is it so difficult for Ruzzia to understand? They lost. It is very simple. The USSR was as big and as influential as Ruzzia ever got, and it failed - they collapsed completely.
USSR lost, not Russia. It was a strategic mistake of the United States, when they collapsed the USSR in 1991 and won the Cold War, they relaxed and began to rest on their laurels. Apparently they thought that Russia would collapse on its own.

Is it really so difficult for the West to understand? The Union republics did not strengthen the Soviet Union, but rather drew vitality from Russia. Now Russia is much stronger than the USSR in the best years of its power.

So... Ruzzia had nothing to do with the USSR, it was all the rest but Ruzzia that failed? You need to be honest at least to yourself, Ruzzia is not standing to "the West", but to a very limited and insufficient aid to Ukraine.

If the collapse of the USSR was a "mistake by the US" and not a mistake by the KGB guys that rule you how come half of it is being economically and socially successful in the EU and the NATO? You do not have a selling point, that is why you sent the tanks instead of the diplomats.
The mistake of the United States was not the collapse of the USSR, but the fact that after that they immediately relaxed and began to celebrate the victory and did not take advantage of the opportunity to immediately break Russia into several parts at the same time. Apparently they thought that the centrifugal forces in Russia, amid the shock of the collapse of the USSR, were strong enough for Russia to collapse on its own. The favorable moment was missed and now the West can only dream about the collapse of Russia.

Oh my... So your idea of a good strategy is to allow a country that has over a thousand nuclear warheads to collapse an be split into a range of different parts each one of them with in physical possession of part of a nuclear arsenal, while getting whoever gets in power in each of those be a potential suicidal maniac.

do you not see any possible problem with that course of action? Like, you know, multiplying by 20 the number of possible bilateral nuclear conflicts with potential for full human species extinction?

But do not get this wrong - Trump does want the dollar to collapse, he thinks that it is not advantageous to have a strong coin -  so all this talk about "printing too much" is just plain disinformation as his own plans are even worse in that sense.

Does he? I have followed Trump and American politics for a while and I was not nearly aware Trump had some ideas in mind about economics, specially applied to his own currency, the USD. Do you say Trump does not want the United States dollar to continue to thrive because his alledge alliance and contact with the Kremlin, or is it because other reason?
I would like to know where you got that information from, honestly. Most people are talking about the incoming public debate Trump is going to have against Joe Biden tomorrow and at this point, it would seems nobody is paying attention whether the USA dollar is losing steam as a reserve currency in the international markets or not, to me it does not look like it is. At least here in my country, handling dollars has become so common and it is part of the daily routine.

His advisor on this matter is a well know economist that vouches for the devaluation of the dollar. If you see what happeneds in Argentina, even if it is not  the best example because is a shitcoin, the inflation spikes when you devalue the coin and I am not sure the US will accept this, the people I mean, because they do not feel their are in such a dire situation as Argentinians.

66  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Julian Assange to plea guilty, released from UK prison on: June 26, 2024, 03:10:52 PM
It was announced today that Julian Assange to set to plea guilty to a single count of conspiring to obtain and distribute classified information and is to be sentenced to time served, which is 68 months that he has served in a UK prison (where he was awaiting extradition, that he was fighting).

Once he is sentenced, he is set to be allowed to return to Australia, which is his homeland.

On one hand, it is very common for journalists to disclose government secrets, even embarrassing secrets (see the Pentagon papers, etc.). One the other hand, he has spent over 5 years in jail, in addition to the time he was hiding in the Ecuadorean embassy in the UK, and some may argue that accepting a time-served sentence to put the ordeal behind him.

What do you think?
Congratulations to Assange on his release. In times of universal lies, telling the truth is extremism.

Why do I have the feeling that you only want some of the "truths" to be known?  It is great that Assange is freed, but I wonder how many truth tellers fly out of windows or get, for example, poisoned with novochick or get some other similar treatment in Siberian prisons. It feels like you are fine with freedom, as long as it is convenient for your own purposes.

Watching the dollar lose reserve currency status while our politicians are completely blind to how currency works has been a learning experience for me. I don’t think people will ever understand just how bad management of the pandemic was and just how irresponsible our leaders were with the printing press.

So what do you think politicians were supposed to do for them to help people to keep their lives together, if not giving stimulus checks for two thousand dollars to those who were elegible? It was a measure by Trump administration by the way, and I think I was okey enough so people would avoid to be thrown out to the street by their landlords and also one needs to keep in mind during the pandemic millions of people found themselves unable to continue working, so they did not have means to buy food or pay their bills. Sure, in general terms and when comes to the inflation that came next it is easy to say it was irresponsible, but there were not many options left.

Those stimulus programs probably allowed the United States not to get stuck into a recession at the same time the COVID pandemic was going on.

The pandemic was mostly (mis)managed by Trump. Hospital collapsing, people dying 3rd world style and meanwhile Trump sending checks to the people with a letter saying "this is thanks to me"...

And now as usual they try to re-write history and blame someone else.

But do not get this wrong - Trump does want the dollar to collapse, he thinks that it is not advantageous to have a strong coin -  so all this talk about "printing too much" is just plain disinformation as his own plans are even worse in that sense.

I think people understand it perfectly, but it is a good thing that you remember and make everyone else aware of how the pandemic was handled and how the printing press was set in motion. Let's have a look at some "pandemic management" examples and some economic management examples, from the past and from the future if I may:

70  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Rise of Crypto Gambling: What You Need to Know on: June 25, 2024, 11:44:22 PM

that is why crypto casino just grow like now over the years as we can also see there are new casinos being born at least each week
showing how tight the competition now comparing in the past years when they are just fewer.
and the thing is that there are almost the same offers from each to them leaving us to be confused where to deal our gaming  Grin

Although the competition is very big, we are people who will Always have the power to choose what we think is best and that gives us more confidence, personally, it is always better to do anything that can give us better Results , personally when I was a newbie I would go on long tours around many casinos looking for the one that would give me the best chance of winning, of course at the end of the day I always stayed at the casino that was most reliable to me, and therefore it was the most reliable for most people, however currently it is as you say, many casinos with almost the same promotions and that is something that does not make much of a difference, it is even Better to go for the most Reliable casinos.

The more gambling sites or platforms that are existing the better because we us gamblers would really be having that choice whether which one we would really be playing on.
On the moment that they are saturating the market then it would really be their own problem as business owners on which for us users or players then it would really be an advantage
since competition is high and they would really be giving out their very best on having that good offering and this is something that will really be that good for us players.

When it comes to revenue then there's no doubt that this business is really that profitable due to addicted gamblers. This is why we do really see those new platforms
that do launches every now and then. So it wouldnt be shocking that they would really be trying out to create one but of course when it comes to capital
and other needed things on which its not something simple and never been cheap.

Competition tends to be good for the customer, so more sites usually mean that users will be better treated and they will have more options if they consider that they should be treated better, have better bonus or being offered more games. However, if it goes to far businesses will start being created an disappearing too fast and would cause confusion in the market. Some solid sites should always be around.

Today for anyone planning to take a vacation in Oklavanka I have a word of warning. You cannot get in or out of the city, someone has been smoking in a large weapons depot and it blasted big time, so for now cancel the vacations.

It is becoming evident that the Ruzzia air defence has more holes than a swiss cheese. It is not even news now, but Belgorod has been hit overnight. The strikes inside Ruzzia are now everyday. It is clear that the Ukrainian strategy of making sure the price tag to keep this running becomes beyond anything reasonable, even for Putin, who does not care much about price tags (paid by others).

In Kharkiv direction, Ukraine has been able not just to hold but to drive the invading forces out - so yes, front is not stable in that sense if you want to call a few hundred meters here and there "movements".

In Ocheretina, again, if you want to call it a "movement" is up to you. You would be able to take Ukraine in a few years at that pace, the obvious problem is that you won't be able to finance it.

I think Ukraine is making sure that if it ever comes to negotiating, Ruzzia understand they have lots of infrastructure to lose on a daily basis. No pressure.

[...]

Sure.  Keep escalating and kiss pretty much all satellite communications goodbye for the foreseeable future.  Wanna guess who the main beneficiary of the military advantage ends up being when that happens?  My money is on the Rooskies, and it might be one of the few possible scenarios under which Russia actually does pose a military threat to some of the NATO dink states such as the one who thought it a good idea to blockade Kaliningrad.

This is not "escalation", this is pay-back. It feels very different when they can also blast YOUR installations and infrastructure uh? Punching is always easier that taking a hit in the nose?

On regards to beneficiaries, etc.. I have posted so much on that... I won't bother again on who is "winning" really.

On the threat to NATO, Europe has a problem: US is no longer a reliable ally due to who we all know and his declarations. Germany is certainly taking it very seriously (100 billion of military investment in 3 years and newer shell production facilities in the build). Romania is also taking it seriously - thanks to Putin, there will be a new NATO air and ground base near the Ukrainian border.

For now, fronts quite stable, and that is at the cost of a huge material burn-out by Ruzzia, so it is not stable because "nobody is doing anything".
Lol, you say this right against the backdrop of a breakthrough of the static front line in the direction of Toretsk since 2014. Russia again caught the Ukrainian Armed Forces rotating brigades, just as during the breakthrough in Ocheretino. Moreover, the commander of the OGV, General Sodol, was drinking vodka at a restaurant in Odessa at that time. Grin

If this scandal flares up, and everything is heading that way, Ukraine will again have to change the entire General Staff, although I’m not sure that Zelensky has such a long bench.

No, I am saying this on the light of the failed "operation" in Kharkiv that ended with the encirclement of between 60 to 200 StromZZtupids and the three ATACAMS that hit Sevastopol today and the attack (drones) in Rostov... which I have simply stopped counting because they are now every other day. but what tells most of the tale is the type of things you have to celebrate now.

The Black Sea fleet must be looking for a place to hide, but I think there is no such a thing any longer.

[...]

I heard that the Canuks went up to evaluate the defensive work on the Belarus line.  What they found was nothing had been done and ALL of the money had been stolen. [...]

you may need to listen to different people in a different drinking hole.

News: Ukraine has destroyed (presumably) the satellite tracking facility NIP-16. This is a high as costs for Ruzzia can get on a single strike. This is the "before", I will be publishing the "after" when confirmed.

You can call him clown, but he is certainly someone who is not supposed to be under estimated in any way, shape or form, in my opinion. I do not like him either as a leader or a politician, but we cannot deny that even if he is a clown, then he is a very good and clever clown who has managed to hold onto power for a long time and seems to stay there, has much time as he is alive.
Also, Third world countries have more motivations to joining the alliance of BRICS than just being  "friends of Putin", it is also about being able to access to the Chinese market and access to the very cheap labor force and products which come from China, the Russian market is neglectable when compared to the Chinese one, and there are indeed Third world countries who would feel pretty much glad to get credits and products from china, thanks to the simple fact of belonging to the BRICS.

It would then depend on the political views of the president of that third world country, align with the political views of China, India and Russia.

To be honest, he looked much more "smart" before what is happening in Ukraine. As of now, he seems like he has painted himself into the corner of a room.

We are assuming that everything that Putin and the Ruzzian army do is a "smart move" or at least "well calculated" or with "hidden intentions"... it simply may sometimes be really stupid - like the offensive in Kharkiv direction.

On Venezuela, my guess is that the current regime would rather be left alone since they have the US looking unkindly at them with all the Guaido thing. I guess animosity has only stopped for a while, while they short out the issues with oil related to Ruzzia and the OPEC+ getting a dollar here and there in the chaos. I am guessing the citizens at least a large part of it would welcome some type of help but that comes with lots of strings attached.

Anyone who talks about global east as being an alliance against the western world or g7 /r whatever must either be drinking kool-aid instanced of water or has smoked more pot than snoop during geography in 3rd elementary

From east to west:
Russia, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, China South Korea
What fucking global east?

Is BRICS a way for Putin to somehow gather allies?

It could be seen in that way, yes.
But it is not only about Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin, the alliance goes beyond Russia, after all. I see the organization as a collection of countries which seek for a change in the balance of economical and political power, taking much of it from the west (the United States) and focusing more in the east. The bulk of the political power of BRICS as well as their economical power lies in China and India, not in Russia.
In my opinion , It is more about China looking for new ways to expand their influence than Russia trying to get more allies. At it stands for now, It could be possible to be a member of BRICS and still not be in favor of the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. It would be more damaging for a country within the alliance to criticize Chinese politics than doing the same to Russian politics.

I do not see India playing only the Ruzzia card and certainly not the China card. BRICS as of today is an intellectual chimera in terms of having a real cohesion or a community of interests of sufficient size. Ruzzia is making noise about BRICS to cover their international isolation - they were even ridiculed when visiting a country that is the pariah of the world (North Korea).

China's Xi accused the US of trying to trick him into invading Taiwan

US has explicitly said that they will come to Taiwan's aid if they were to be invaded by China. These two countries have tensions over different kinds of geopolitical issues not only in Taiwan.

US is an ally to many countries one being the Philippines which is surprise, surprise also has issues with China. To me it seems that US might be using other countries to go against China. If China were to attack Taiwan now, it would result in huge losses for them but this doesn't reduce their motivation to bring the lands back together as their president says.

Do you think this need of US to always be involved in many conflicts will fire back?

The Phillipines has a serious and ongoing issue with China, due to China's (illegal) claims over the South China Sea, well beyond the usual territorial waters that nations are entitled to. This is reflected in the constant low-intensity violence exerted over the Philippine fishing boats.

Philippines has not been an ally of the US until recently, and this has a lot to do with China's policy. China is no victim in all this.

Latest news confirm the continued support from several European countries. It is not as bright and shiny as the US signing 60 billion on  single bill, but little by little several additional air defence systems are being transferred, to a total of 7 patriot batteries now active. My guess is that there are several reasons why the f16 are not yet in Ukraine, but one important is being able to protect these.

Meanwhile Trump again buys the full Kremlin narrative about Ukraine being "part of Ruzzia" or not "independent", etc... I wonder what kind of "negotiator" would start by fully echoing the arguments of the guy in front? This guy should not be running even a local Starbucks.

Next week the EU is passing 2 Billion from the revenue produced by Ruzzian assets, currently frozen, to Ukraine. I guess this is true brotherhood and solidarity from Ruzzia, paying Ukraine to defend itself from the enemy... that is Ruzzia.

78  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: June 21, 2024, 05:54:17 PM
We are waking up today to 3 drone strikes in three oil storage facilities, all of them deep inside Ruzzia. Ukraine works again on the strategy of making sure the war is more costly to Ruzzia than any possible benefit they may get from it. In a way, this is another card that may be present at a negotiating table... I mean, some day, in the veery distant future.

This makes sure Putin understand that there is a lot to keep loosing for very tiny ground gains and Ukraine can and will strike millions worth of infrastructure every day.

79  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: June 21, 2024, 12:15:16 AM
Above all, I complete my KYC even before I send my first deposit and I think it is smart enough to avoid later issues.
This is the way I do it too because it sometimes sucks when there are problems when trying to make a withdrawal, I once experienced a problem that annoyed me a little with this KYC system, from the start when I played and made a deposit the site didn't ask for my KYC identity and when withdrawing money Instead they asked for it, I had to provide my KYC identity whereas at that time I only withdrew around $30, actually that was very little money for me to withdraw and risk my identity, I left my money there then left without complaining about it in this forum. I returned after some time and found that the site had gone bankrupt.

But I will try to complete my KYC identity on a site that is trusted and really has a good reputation at the start of registering to avoid problems later, so I don't need to worry about my identity either, although there is still a chance that the site will be hacked and The identity of all users will not be safe, it all comes back to the trust of each user, all gamblers must be smart and choose a casino that can be trusted to follow the rules, for example providing identity to follow the rules.

          -   As for me, if I know if the casino here is reputable for cryptocurrency such as stakes, bc.games, cryptogames, duelbits, and rollbit, it's fine for me to submit KYC because it's not really a big deal to me. I would prefer that, from the very beginning of my decision to deposit money, I myself would have taken the initiative to submit KYC to the casino platform.

Whether I win big or not, I don't have any problems to face in the end if ever the opportunity comes for me to win a big amount on their platform. But I will never give kyc to a casino that is new in this field of crypto gambling business.

unfortunately nowadays people no longer have a choice when it comes to kyc, even though people are afraid of doing kyc in a new casino, but if they want to use the new casino then I recommend that they do kyc before putting money in, and it is a fact that most new casinos are suspicious and become scams, it is a fact that the sign up bonus is no longer easy to claim because the wagering requirements are very high, it even seems that new casinos have combined, because in most casinos I have seen 40x wagering requirements in many new casinos when they give the sign-up bonus and they only give it to people who deposit amounts above $300, something that I don't think is worth it.

but there are still people who are fooled by these sign-up bonuses and keep chasing new casinos, for these people, my advice is to do kyc before depositing money in the casino and deposit small amounts of money, and pray that the casino does not fail. become a scam and don't sell or leak customer documents

KYC is sometimes a risk in itself, so not checking for reputation is absolutely a bad idea. The site will eventually have lots of personal data even if they sub-contract the checks to a thrid party or supplier and they have to keep the records for a long time. Why would you not think that these may end up in the dark web sold in bulk to some hacker group?
80  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me the best online casino on: June 21, 2024, 12:12:12 AM

just that depending into someones preference but here's my list.

1. Stake
2. Betcoin.ag

I have experience on playing up on these platforms and yes they are really that similar when it comes to game offerings but
the user experience and other aspects is really that a little bit different. So someone who would really be having plans
on tending to play up on a site and look on this one will really be just that depending on you on where you do find the most
that will be appealing for you. So it would really be that something situational or according to likes.

I can't say less, all that selection you put is very good, where I don't have much experience is in betcoin, but it is due to lack of putting I will see what it is like, I could say that when it comes to game styles or particular games that can be given the best for me was freebitco.in when it came to dice, but when it comes to slots I love bitcasino.io and stake.com, I don't know, but I feel that in those casinos I can win more easily, maybe it's my ideas, but it always works for me, maybe it's something that I have faith in or something like that, but I think it all comes down to the tastes of the games.

I think the selection is based on his favorite and I am not that surprised. There are other good casinos in the space he can also mention as alternative but I think he is already used to the ones he has listed. We all have different opinions and that would work for other if they agreed that a particular casino really worth to be mentioned. I am not here to list any token for anyone to take a look at going for the ones they find appropriate to be listed. I think we all have different opinions and we have to go for the ones that we enjoyed based on selection and the features are absolutely interested to see. Gambling can be fun and we need to go for the ones that would earn us profits.

As good as any other choice, because it is so dependent on the user and what are the parameters or the characteristics that he considers best for his own personal habits, and it may not even be conscious of many of them so potentially the sites are chosen more or less arbitrarily in terms of a honest an unbiased look at this or that special thing that may go adverted.
