1041  Other / Politics & Society / South Africa tells Putin -"If you come, you will be arrested" on: May 03, 2023, 11:07:49 AM

https://novayagazeta.eu/articles/2023/05/01/sunday-times-south-africas-government-asks-putin-not-to-come-to-brics-summit-because-of-his-icc-arrest-warrant-en-news

Some people would say that the International Court of Justice order to arrest Putin does not make any difference. However, it seems that it actually does in international terms. A large part of any diplomatic negotiation happens behind the scenes, if informal networking and talks that happen in the corridors, not over the table. Putin's out of it now and that is going to create problems - mostly for the RF.

Why we even comment here...Putin explained it all more than a year ago

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qS6J-WbTD8

Yes... one could almost feel some sympathy for the old guy when he gives his view of the events. Almost.

He speaks of strong arm tactics, imposing on others and creating a certain order. However, that is exactly what he has aimed for in the RF since he got the slightest power -  a dictatorial regime. As all dictatorial regimes, it is critical to have an outside enemy. If the economy goes badly is because of the US or the traitors or the foreign influence...

But there is something that is not said an is the base of all this discourse and "explanation" (apart for a few lies here and there). All this is based on the "safety" of Russia being above anything else. And if a few hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have to die for it, it is OK, because Russia is more important than Ukraine, Russians more important the Ukrainians and his regime more important than peace.

Why would I think of calling this guy Adolf Putin?

Now, there is only one winner to all this: the US. Putin should have been more proactive in diplomacy with Europe and things would have been quite different. War is the last resource of an incompetent leader.

Now, if you see this from the European perspective, it would have been much better not to have a war, possibly incorporating Ukraine to the European Union or having  preferential treaty (and I believe this is a key, much more than any prospective NATO invasion). Russia would be a commercial partner for Europe which would have been really beneficial to all. However we are where we are and now Europe cannot afford to have a war in Europe in which the RF takes territory by force first in 2014 and now in 2021 and gets away with it. Europe has no option but to play the game with the US.

Has the US forced Putin to war? I could say that is true, but only half true. It is his own incompetence to generate a fair and seductive regime and attract Ukraine by means of commerce, culture and diplomacy that bring the "need" for war as he states it.

As usual, half truths and one-sided arguments - the type that Branko usually likes.

I am not a physicist or engineer, so anything I say about physics or engineering (except for quantum information theory) should be taken with a grain of salt.

Landauer's principle is a version of the second law of thermodynamics. We can certainly test how well reversible computation will be at modeling and designing automobiles today since any regular computer can inefficiently emulate a reversible computer. It may work well since the second law of thermodynamics is just a reformulation of the physical reversibility of the universe. But then again, any such computation will likely just be academic research until we get energy efficient reversible computers. While we are perfectly capable of creating good reversible programming languages and software at the moment, we will not be able to make a profit off this software until we get physically reversible hardware for this software to run on. This means that at the moment, most reversible computation software development will just be an unprofitable academic exercise.

It is hard for me to predict whether future reversible computers will need heat sinks or not.

If these reversible computers are built on superconductors, these superconductors will probably need to be cooled at least to liquid nitrogen temperatures. We currently do not have any room temperature superconductors (well, someone supposedly found one, but more research is needed on that), and we certainly do not have any room temperature superconductors that exist at reasonable pressures. This means that any reversible superconducting computer will need to be cooled much more than a regular computer. And energy efficient reversible computers will probably need to be cooled anyways because even though they will be more efficient at computing, they will still generate a substantial amount of heat because they will simply perform an increasing amount of computation.

I do not know what the cars of the future will run on, but I am not a fan of electric vehicles right now nor do I see them replacing internal combustion engines in the near future. But electric vehicles are not my area of expertise, so I will leave the discussion to those who have more to say than I do.

Very interesting and very off topic. Reversible computation matters little on EV.

The current challenges are the following:
- Providing carbon neutral or carbon negative energy in an economic, sustainable and technically viable way.
- Enhancing the electrical grid. It takes very long to add significant capacity to the electric network and connecting it.
- Technical enhancements to battery duration and charging time. It simply takes too long to charge for a long travel.
- Production of EVs, as factories or old vehicles would be basically a loss in financial terms by obsolescence. Many car producers would find themselves with useless factories.
- Creating a charging points infrastructure. A slot for 6 cars takes around 1 MVA. Quite a lot.

You see... you do not need to understand muons for this.

Before hearing Dima's theories (or anyone elses' really) I'm going to posit that Ukraine had had it's rocket fuel plant running there and/or were salvaging chemicals from ICBMs which may or may not have been being decommisioned.  Deep underground (like the place where the NATO command is probably still buried.)  I'm going to guess that the same basic weapon was used to do some mining, and they hit pay-dirt.  Big time.

All talk, no sources, no confirmation. As usual, disinformation - not that I was expecting anything else.

"Chemical for ICBMs", I am sure this raises an alarm for anyone that does not understand what is an ICBM. ICBM come with their own "chemicals" included in the pack.

Lol.  You forgot to snip or edit my actual words before changing them to try to make a straw-man argument.  Even the argument you tried to make is pretty meaningless especially since I went out of my way to stipulate that these where my best-guesses.

Here's some other info/conjectures/whatever which were proposed since my post:

  https://archive.md/Dj3GA

Seems that Ukraine had the great idea to (not very speedily) decommission soviet era ICBM's in a small city.  Also in the same city, produce more rocket fuel for newer weapons.  Then transfer all manner of weapons and ammo through the city to prosecute a war with a fairly near-by adversary who can touch any part of the country at will.  Then apparently allow the transported weapons to log-jam in the city.  Gee, what could go wrong?

Thank God that there were some actual adult leaders back when the Soviet Union fell apart and most of the nuclear warheads were taken away from these apes.
...

Then, I should read all you said as "your best guess" and a "conjecture". Which pretty much means you are just inventing whatever you say. Thanks, good to know,

See, the problem is that there are no "old nuclear warheads" or "old ICMBs" anywhere in Ukraine. The case is that not "most of them were taken", but an agreement for which ALL nuclear weapons were passed to the RF.

https://www.icanw.org/did_ukraine_give_up_nuclear_weapons?locale=en#:~:text=In%201992%2C%20Ukraine%20signed%20the,and%20all%20launch%20silos%20decommissioned.

Quote
In 1992, Ukraine signed the Lisbon Protocol and it joined the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty as a non-nuclear weapon state in 1994. The transfer of all nuclear material took some time, but by 2001, all nuclear weapons had been transferred to Russia to be dismantled and all launch silos decommissioned

Next time you go high and start imagining things, please let us know again, so that we give your "best guesses" all the attention they really deserve - that is - a comment from someone who has not bothered to get even the most basic information about this war.

In general, the Russian occupiers are behaving extremely undemocratic. Instead of bringing the bright rainbow light of true LGBT values to the natives and exchanging oil and gold for fashionable glass beads, Russians, wherever they invaded around the world, immediately begin to build - hospitals, schools, houses, factories, and confuse the immature minds of the local population with social payments. They also kidnap children, take them to their sanatoriums and feed them five times a day for free, without following a vegan diet. Barbarians in one word. Grin

No, they do kidnap children, but they do not take them to sanatoriums.

Somehow the people of Russia are finding your theory unconvincing. Russia has been bleeding population for decades and the projections are even worse. I guess in a way you are right, there is not much of a fight to have a place in Russia. The invasion of Ukraine however shows that there quite of a fight to stay well away from the "sun of Russia" and its "vast territories". If you like to have plenty of room for yourself... you are in the right place.
Yep, i know.
Apart from that, most the RF territory is just too unhospitable, unless you are a deer.
All hope for global warming. Grin

After the Scottish independence referendum, the population of the UK may also decline. And if you return the occupied territories to Ireland, then even more so. But don't worry, quality is more important than quantity.

You? Meaning who?

Sorry to break this to you, but Scotland already had a referendum and decided to be part of the UK. You see, that is where people decide what they want - you probably do not understand this, look it up in Wikipedia. If they choose to have a new one, they certainly can, no problem.

Oh, BTW, quality wise, people leaving the RF are precisely the professionals that can do it - the "quality" people, with proper education, resources and ability to make other countries better.

....

It is finally time Russia starts experiencing what they have been doing against Ukraine for more than one year now.Belgorod and Sevastopol are just the start,it will go much deeper in the heart of Russia and hopefully this will start and awake the "zombies" as this is what Russians citizens are, they will go into protests as they will risk their own life. All those meetings Ukraine had with the Western powers I am sure they have gotten much longer range weapons capable of striking deep into Russia and I don't believe much in nuclear rhetoric because they know well if they use them,by international law they will be eradicated from earth soon after and I don't think Russians are stupid.

They just do not get it. They just send drones to try to destroy the civilian infrastructure, such as cities electrical supply, with very limited success. However one attack like this, right to the war critical infrastructure is beyond their understanding and yet 100 times more effective.

And they think this is about a punch exchange... no no... this is about taking the war into the occupied territory that Putin thought as "safe" and even in the RF territory properly said. Much more to come.

Hey be.open, do you smoke? It seems that someone has been smoking in Sevastopol - once again near fuel tanks. Since the Ukrainian offensive is all bluff and fake, it must be someone smoking so please print this, cut it and send it over to all fuel depots around. That would help your country much more than propagandising here and throwing a few "nazis" to the soup at night.

Imagine getting yourself an Electric vehicle, you happy about it since it is your first new vehicle.
You are having a wonderful day and decide to go for groceries, when you coming back with the load of candies and other supplies, you find your new EV being completely consumed by flames because either you had a faulty battery or someone parked next did.

Reminds me a bit the scandal Samsung had to face when their phones started to explode and burn by their own, because their batteries back some years ago.

i did not know that those cars were more dangerous when set ablaze than regular gas ones, one truly learns something new each day.

For each of the fires in an EV that this Brexiter pro-Boris old plonker from probably Essex show, I can supply 10 of people burned in a conventional fuel car.

The future has to be clean and CO2 neutral, there is no way you are going to have a life as you know it unless you can achieve it. One way of doing so is decarbonising the energy generation and the using electricity is a way forward, since it is easier to de-carbonise the generation at large scale. There are many challenges to it, but certainly vehicles burning are not the main ones.

That is the only good thing left in Russia, people still love families and degeneration is not as en mass as is in the West. However this does not justify at all going to invade another country just for the sake of it and blaming it on NATO expansion, this was the first reason they started this war after all and now they have failed that objective miserably as they just added 1300 km of borders with NATO as Finland join NATO exactly because of this Russian aggression out of nowhere.

I don't think Russia is in a position to call itself lucky nor their citizens unless they agree to be at least 30-40 years back in technology advancement. The sanctions clearly prohibit Russia advanced chips and they are now looking to buy them from India and China which suck compared to Western quality.
Not the only one. I can also attribute to the advantages of Russia its vast territory. There is no need to especially fight for a place under the sun, because there is plenty of space for everyone.

Even if people in the west have gone mad, it doesn’t change the problematic situation in russia. You can not confident yourself and your position as a better one only because you think that somebody else has worse conditions, which you don’t wish for yourself. Maybe you don’t have “parent #1 and #2”, but it doesn’t mean at all that russian families are healthier or happier, considering a lot of cases of incomplete families and domestic violence, the inability to provide for their children, and so on.
...

The gender discussion is senseless.  Allowing people to decide about their lives is not "degeneration". Killing them is.

In this forum there are several casino scams that we already know about and all forum users know very well about this casino scam but the problem is you are talking about casino scam outside the forum so for resolution of casino scam outside the forum we can never do anything because they don't it's in forums and it's hard to find it if we don't try it in person.
So far, nothing has been able to stop casino fraud, especially outside your forum, so casino fraud has become a frightening specter for some gamblers, especially beginners.
The only way is always to provide understanding for those who don't really know about scam casinos outside the forums, maybe we will have more trouble because bad reviews are definitely removed by scam casinos.
The problem of casino scams has been around for a long time and I hope there are certain parties who can stop and narrow the circulation of casino scams.
That's why we don't know a casino out there that can cause us to get scammed because the casino has no threads or representatives in this forum. We have to be aware of this if we get a casino from outside this forum and we should not register immediately when we get it but look for more information about the casino. And scam casinos are sure to exist especially outside forums because many people spread their links on many sites to attract the attention of beginners or people still looking for a casino. Even though certain parties can stop and narrow the circulation of casino fraud, fraudulent casinos are still difficult to eradicate because it depends on how people can find a good casino.

A casino that is outside the forum, you always have to be very careful, there are many, I have seen lists of casinos that are quite impressive, and they have strange names, but we have to be very careful because most of them can be or turn out to be scams, and it is not nice to lose our money like this, when we are thinking about looking for new casinos, the risk is strong, I prefer to use a reliable and old casino here in the forum than a new casino that is not in the forum or has its own thread Ann, that's already too risky for me.

The Bitcointalk forum already has many trusted casinos operating for a long time and have their respective reputations, so we don't have to look for casinos from outside. And if later (I'm sure there will be many new casinos that will be launched on this forum) a new casino is launched on this forum, we can also find out more details about the casino by asking the casino representative so we can get clearer information. This will make it easier to see if the new casino is worth checking out or just leaving it. And usually, the new casinos launched here give a valid welcome bonus as they are trying to build their reputation in this forum.

The good thing about the forum is that is quite good at detecting issues and showing scams, while also ensuring that there is a fair discussion on the matter as opposed to a mere speculation, since everyone has the possibility of writing their views and showing evidence when it is available. Any respectable casino should take good note and be here promoting if they intend to become a reputable organisation.
1050  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: April 28, 2023, 06:16:14 PM
in any gambling you must to experience loss he must also experience profit so when these things one of them happened it is you will know your stand of the kind of game you are playing with and sometimes when you lose a game it will make you to understand your fault your asses so the next that you play proper time to verify the game before playing the game that is how gambling works
Even you have verify the game is using provably fair, you're still not have 100% guarantee to win. Losing in gambling doesn't make you will able to win easily on the next time, it's only limited for few games like poker. If you gamble on slots game, you're not learn anything from your win or loss. In sports, you're also not learn anything, first you bet your team will win, but the result is lose. But in the next match you bet on your rival team, but the result your team are win.

Certainly, provably fair only means that it does "what is say on the label", so that you are not being tricked into thinking that you have 40% chance of winning while you are really getting a paltry 10% or the like. It also seems to work only on pure chance games, which I do not personally favour too much. But, anyway, always better that at least is fair gaming that not having anything to show for it.
1051  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: April 28, 2023, 03:17:54 PM
Gambling can be played in a variety of ways. You see, would it class as work if you are not paid in money? Does it class as a purchase if you decide to pay exchanging something? My take is that it is as long as you put there something that has value, from your own time, reputation and even intangibles... or works of art or anything. Time is money as they say.
1052  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: April 28, 2023, 03:15:18 PM
Which are best stake alternatives
I search for good casinos with similar original games

CloudBet, Lucky Block, Bovada, BitStarz, JooCasino, LuckyTiger, LasAtlantis, Mirax Casino

Aside from Cloudbet, All these casino that you suggests is unknown here. Bovada has a region restrictions while BitStarz has a bad reputation here scamming user here last 2019. You can check Bitstarz reputation on this page https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=307265 to see their long history of scamming.

Stake is one of the biggest brand here in the forum in terms of crypto casino. Suggesting a bunch of mediocre to scammer casino to newbie is the worst idea you can think.

The scammy options is better not to even mention them. Posting contributes to search algos and that is something that should not help much future users of the system. But experiences of different people may be different, I mean, you can run a scam for a while but you probably cannot fool everyone forever and get away with it. There has to be something missing in the information.
1053  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 28, 2023, 03:12:54 PM
As op had stated submitted his KYC document and still the casino had not confirm it. He will need to wait for for more time for it to be confirmed than thinking that the casino is a scam. That is it the we can tell whether a casino is a scam or not. At least waiting for some time will be okay than thinking that they have taken all your money.
Well yes, that is very easy to say, but it is another thing to be inside with the problem, if OP needs to get the money quickly, he needs his case to be Attended to as Urgently as possible, otherwise something has to be done Urgent to be able to attend to you, I have been in those situations and the worst thing they can tell you is to wait and be patient, that kind of makes the person get Annoyed and get angry at the casino, and sometimes the Support agents are the ones who They are to blame for that, that's why the support in a casino the more humans than AI there are to serve, the better.

There has to be a reasonable response and reasonable conditions. It is difficult to tell precisely what is reasonable and what is not in the context of producing services, but there is a point in which you can clearly see that things are "unreasonable". A wait of 2 or 3 weeks in a KYC validation is not usually acceptable as a week to answer a query is not reasonable.

Russia has openly offered itself to the West since the collapse of the USSR, and with just a little more feeling for its interests,
which the West could then quite painlessly incorporate with its power its strategic interests in a broader sense - everything
could have been different.

Or you could escape your medieval mentality and understand that maybe, only maybe, the people in Ukraine may actually have something to say about the future of Ukraine and their own future and choose how they want to live and what do they choose to die for.

Alas, I am asking the impossible. You live too long under someone's foot and the only thing left in your brain is trying to choose the nicest looking shoe sole to get smashed in fashion.

Lol, someone talking about nations and states accusing someone of "medieval mentality"

Russia is isolated completely and they have failed this war no matter how it ends from now.Economically speaking and with the sanctions put to them they need at least 40 years in order to keep up with Western advanced technologies which they have no access anymore as they cannot import vital technological chips for their devices, this alone for me is devastating but the results of such move will be felt with the passing of a couple of years. It will be exactly then that Russian citizens themselves will not care anymore about their government and wide protests will go on,they will see how far behind they will be.They will be poorer and they will blame Putin them but it will be too late.

Thats racist...by "completely" you mean remaining 70% world that did NOT isolated them is worthless people?

where did I speak about nations and states? Get you head of your Karl Marx writings illustrated edition for kids and read: I always speak about people, and however they choose to organise themselves. Typically it will be in states, as that's how the world is today, but affiliation is a choice in any case.

But going back to something practical... it seems that Gazprom has also recruited and sent mercenaries to fight in Bhakmut and... guess what... the Wagnerites are not allowing them to retreat when Ukraine shells the shit out of them. The RF is starting to look like a very disorganised bunch of warlords competing... who knows when they will start killing each other.

Few days ago I posted that Russians complaining that Ukrainians is already on the left bank of Dnipro river ner to Kherson. Then it looked more like fake, but seems that's something is really going on here:
https://t.me/Donbas_Operativniy/36321

Found a cool site that is documenting every known piece of equipment that is destroyed, damaged, abandoned or captured with images of everything.

Ukraine:
Tanks (490, of which destroyed: 302, damaged: 29, abandoned: 19, captured: 140)
Infantry Fighting Vehicles (523, of which destroyed: 371, damaged: 13, abandoned: 31, captured: 108)

Russia:
Tanks (1907, of which destroyed: 1161, damaged: 101, abandoned: 101, captured: 544)
Infantry Fighting Vehicles (2319, of which destroyed: 1508, damaged: 73, abandoned: 129, captured: 607)

Great resource, I follow it since first months of war. Offcourse, it's not possible to get photos of every destroyed tank or armoured machine, but you can get general impression. No emotions, just facts

Russia wanted and still wants relatively little from Ukraine - a neutral non-bloc status and stop killing ethnic Russians in the Donbas, which it has been doing for the past eight years.
Do you still believe that ''genocide'' and neutral status of Ukraine is the reason of invasion.

There seems to be Ukrainian troops East of the Dnipro. Looks more of a preparation, not a full blown assault. It looks quite strategic to drive the assault so far from the largest concentration of RF troops and also so close to the borders with non-combatant countries.

Of course it's everybody else that's bad. Finland and Sweden don't invade other countries, but they're bad, Ukraine never invaded, but it's bad, Poland doesn't invade but it's bad, France is bad, the whole world is to blame just not Russians. The more I watch this war going, the more I hope this fucked up country finally bombs itself into oblivion.
If you consider some countries to be bad, then you are an ordinary Nazi, cultivating enmity and hatred here, projecting your internal phobias into the public Internet space. Russia wanted and still wants relatively little from Ukraine ....

Throw nazi here and there and at the same time "RF wants very little from Ukraine"... such a cynicism at this stage of the war is ridiculous. That is the true Nazi in you, imposing violently on others (from a safe distance of course, you are also a "chairborne soldier") just because the RF wants this and that...

And all covered in more lies... the RF wants nothing, it is Putin's court of psychos.

I think the main purpose of this ICC warrant was an attempt to disrupt Xi's visit to Moscow, and when this failed, everyone somehow quickly forgot about the warrant, as if it did not exist at all.
-cut-
Well that's some brain gymnastics right there. Why would it disrupt Xi's visit? Xi isn't really a price winning human rights activist either as they don't even recognize Dutch extradition treaty.
It sounds like you are just undermining the legitimacy of the warrant. And yeah, warrant exist, you would know this if you just looked it up, why do you think it's forgotten? Don't tell me, because he isn't arrested?
Nah, that would be a stupid answer.

Russia has not ratified the Rome Statute, so for Russian citizens this warrant is a legally insignificant piece of paper. It happens, the USA, Ukraine, China and many other countries have not ratified the Rome Statute either. Moreover, according to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the incumbent president cannot be held criminally liable. And also in accordance with the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes against Internationally Protected Persons (Adopted by resolution 3166 (XXVIII) of the UN General Assembly of December 14, 1973), heads of state enjoy absolute immunity. It sounds like you are just undermining the legitimacy of this Convention. Grin

There must be thousands if not tens of thousands of "Khan" living in the UK, including, guess who? ... The current major of London, Sadiq Khan. I personally know a couple of "Khan" in my own country. It is a common name from certain region of Iran.

Now, could anyone point to any indication that this could be used, particularly since it is known and judged, to blackmail and that there is any close link between these people?

Quote
Khan, which is more popular as a surname, is a Turkish boy's name meaning "prince," so get ready to give your son the royal treatment. Khan is a shorter form of Khagan, and was originally a historic title given to military chiefs and rulers.

On the "useless piece of paper"... well, your argument is plainly stupid, including a deep lack of understanding of how international law works. Of course Putin will not get arrested while in Russia, China, etc... and of course your "constitution" can give him the right to but-fuck cows in public without any consequence. You do not seem to get the real problem here: Most of the government of Putin including himself are banned from international diplomacy in many countries that do accept this sentence. Another of the great achievements of your horse loving gay hating septuagenarian idol

And again, somehow Putin invades Ukraine, orders the massive kidnapping of children, flattens cities, kills civilians and military without any distinction, but for Branko all this is about the US "not being able to de-escalate" - meaning accepting the de-facto situation and white-washing the invasion current result.
...

By analysis of all of the credible information I can piece together, Ukraine made massive use of human shields and still does.
....

That is false information, obviously without any proof attached other than your xenophobic discourse. People leave in cities. The RF is shelling cities often with no strategic objective nor other reason than to create panic.

Quote
During the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russia has forcibly transferred thousands of Ukrainian children to areas under its control, assigned them Russian citizenship, forcibly adopted them into Russian families, and created obstacles for their reunification with their parents and homeland.[3] Evidence of this has been collected during investigations conducted by several international organizations and groups, including the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, The International Criminal Court, Amnesty International and Missing Children Europe, and by journalists for media outlets such as The Observer and Al Jazeera.[4

Looks like a dystopia, something so difficult to believe, yet so real. And this calls from the ones calling "nazi" here and "nazi" there to anything that is not what they want to hear.

Is Al Jazeera a "Ziocon" organisation? Amnesty International? You are really running our of credibility, if a xenophobic discourse like yours had any ever.

Russians were smart enough to deescalate during Cuban crisis
Americans during Ukraine crisis...not so much
USA seems eager to start war between China and Taiwan too...I guess
they calculated there's no other way out of 31 trillion debt

And we could now go on your comment on the missiles crisis, in which somehow you notice how the former USSR (not Putin's RF by the way) decided to remove the missiles from CUba, but you fail to notice that it was in exchange for the US removing theirs from Turkiya.

As alwasy, one eye open, one eye close, one measure for you who you believe are your friends, one for anyone else.

Nice theory and maybe true for China and Taiwan but it seems they have calculated well the war in Ukraine too and Putin fell to this trap like a stupid fish.He made his army extremely weak after almost 1.5 years war where he is losing everything from personnel to every kind of artillery and machinery.Russian economy is down on its knees and with this move USA did put out of the way Russia as they are not worthy anymore,no one takes them seriously now, they thought to win the war in three days but even with the passing of three years I doubt they will win anything and even in the remote case that they win and get the 4 new areas,it is inevitable that Ukraine will join NATO then and Russia will be completely isolated,Russian have lost their game this time.

The US is worried of China using the opportunity to invade Taiwan, in which case there would be two fronts. All this muscle flexing is just to show that the US can support Ukraine and still defend Taiwan.

I have seen those estimates as well. These sites usually document confirmed losses, that is, with certain documentary evidence of them being destroyed. There is however a very large number of undocumented kills and what is more interesting, documented kills that are not actually kills..

https://www.economist.com/europe/2023/04/17/how-ukraine-is-using-fake-tanks-and-guns-to-confuse-the-russians

However, despite the questionable numbers, it is clear that RF cannot replenish the tanks as they are being lost. They are using up their stores or stored tanks, which many times can only be repaired using 3 vehicles to get one fully working, many times without some of the systems and many many times wihtout the most advanced sights, comms and other tech-intensive features.
