61  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto for the development of local farmers...can.....? on: November 14, 2021, 03:06:04 PM
Until now, several cryptocurrencies related to the agricultural sector, seem to be less effective for farmers and also there is no progress. because of several projects such as those in my own country, including Hara Token (HART) and Agricoin (AGC & AGCMN).
who try to use the agribusiness sector as an asset for crypto offerings, there is no development and tends to be left behind even though 30% of the world's population is a farmer and the other 10% is related to agriculture. Can cryptocurrencies still be applied to future economic developments in the agricultural sector because it seems difficult?
I don't think so unless cryptocurrency is used just to fund the development of these agricultural lands other than that I don't see any uses of it. However, a blockchain certificate can be used to determine the authenticity of that product and its origin. Blockchain can be used to food supply chain and to boost its consumers trust.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit cards | A scam or a tool? on: November 14, 2021, 01:06:43 PM
It solves convenience so for me its not a scam. The problem is when you don't pay it in time and thats where interest goes up and up. But nonetheless, its interest are way higher than typical bank lending so it might suck up your money. Its just up to you to discipline yourself in spending and knowing your limits.

64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one can continue ignoring Bitcoin on: November 11, 2021, 12:01:55 PM
Quote

Joe Rogan, the world’s most successful podcaster and comedian, may have accepted a Bitcoin payment of $100,000. The podcast host and MMA commentator has talked about Bitcoin in the past on his show, and has even hosted conversations with notable Bitcoiners, but accepting Bitcoin as payment marks a definitive switch in stance on his part.

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/business/worlds-biggest-podcaster-joe-rogan-accepts-bitcoin-payment

When you start to understand how the protocol works, what it truly is, then you know can’t ignore it, but have to HODL some of your own personal wealth in it. These Bitcoins are NOT mere Tulips. Cool
Its good news for cryptomarket itself and no doubt that after this, many podcaster would accept bitcoin too. Another thing is that, when everyone learned about it, you cant afford it. Its better to hold something for the future where Bitcoin is very bright. After more than a decade, Bitcoin has reach highs compared to any other assets.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks will die crypto will take over in 5-10 years on: November 11, 2021, 11:51:58 AM
Banks won't go down without a fight, and sure enough governments wouldn't just let their pals sink without extending a helping hand. It'll take a lot from crypto to take down banks, and even then I don't think crypto will ultimately replace banks as a financial institution. There's so much reliance on banks from this society that I don't think people are ready for a world without them. Also, the convenience banks provide to people is something else, even if it means their money are being held hostage until they complied with the banks terms.
I think so too. They are now adopting and even offering the trading in their system. But, in the long run when everything is digitally transacted and when the mainstream cryptocurrency replace fiat, I think DeFi can replace banks. It is really happening now specially in El Salvador where Sovryn - The DeFi for bitcoin is having a collaboration with El Salvadors national bank to provide world class platform for El Salvadorians.

Read the basics. In coinmarketcap you can have one of the best cryptocurrency basic available articles. They have it for their users and to spread awareness for crypto itself. It is also free of charge having high quality texts. Youtube in the other hand have legits crypto channel like coin bureau and altcoindaily that offers high quality contents too. 67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand the market in advance on: November 10, 2021, 04:56:23 PM
Hi guys I’m new to the forum and I’m new to the crypto world.
I would like to know if there is some method on how to understand when the market is going to dip or when the market is going to pump.
Thank you in advance to all of you
We'll there's lot for you to read to have at least learn something in predicting the price actions. Aside from learning the technical analysis from charts, there are still some complexity in it. Learning about OBV is one of the simplest way to do it. Another thing is the A/D Line. However, these are just tools for you to decide if you want to jump in or not. These tools are there only to provide you the probabilities and that's not certainties. And lastly, learn to earn more.
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: forex trading vs cripto trading on: November 10, 2021, 04:40:32 PM
Everyone chooses what he likes best and what he understands more. It's quite simple and straightforward.
Yeah but in comparison with the two, I'd prefer the more advantageous market having more opportunities than other. The two have similarities specially how its price where determined. The two is driven by a supply-demand balance. The price of specific coin is determined by this where the more demand having less supply means upward projection of price and vice versa. However, the two separates in style of trading. While forex trading trades on Fiat Currencies, Cryptocurrency digital currencies backed by companies and its community.
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Continuously Loosing money in Trading!!!! on: November 10, 2021, 04:30:40 PM
Hello everyone,

I am doing Trading since last 3 to 4 years And in this journey i have seen many updowns(profit and losses), But recently from few weeks i am loosing  my money continuously with the same strategy  i have been using since last 2 years. I don't know what happened to me. So please anyone can guide me through this situation, it will be very helpful for me.

Thank you.
If its not working anymore, then you have to change it. Something's wrong with your trading strategies so its kinda good to have changes for good. Trade with charts aren't easy and needs knowledge that can't be obtain in just a year of trading. With your statements, I suppose that you sticked only on your trading stat and never tried something new. Well, time's changing and market is changing too. Adopt.
70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: At what Bitcoin price do you think altseason will start? on: November 09, 2021, 03:43:47 PM
Hi guys

Usually Bitcoin significantly pulls up the alts at some key level. What do you think will be the level this time?

Would be curious to hear opinions!

Best, Peter
Just look out at bitcoins dominance in the market. Once it stabilised, alts will surely pump up given that bitcoin goes sideways only and no fud were spread. Many moon projects will surely go to moon these days specially the Play-to-earn ones and not the meme coins. In my own analysis, it will happen mid november to early december.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weekend Trading, how do you feel about it? on: November 09, 2021, 03:39:23 PM
Hello friends happy weekend to you all.

What do you think about Saturday and Sunday trading Huh

Considering it with week days which do you see as profitable or they are just the same thing to you.

I like for us to share how we feel about these two trading times, if you make more profit more or loss more on any of week days or weekend trading.

As we know trading is just about how to make profit.
Always bad. Im always closing out positions at those days to avoid losses. I dont know exactly why but at Saturday, its always bearish and continuing up to Sunday. Bullish starts on monday giving signs of life and that whole week would be bull given that no fud spreads. So keep out of it. Just do one during weekdays.
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the king on: November 09, 2021, 03:36:25 PM
Today I took my time to go round the market, there are more than 9000 cryptos in the market, but bitcoin is still the king. Now that many other cryptocurrencies are seriously pumping can they take over from bitcoin? If they take over from bitcoin can they last in that position like bitcoin?
What is your opinion.
No one can match bitcoins dominance. No alts can even reach what bitcoin has reached already even the great Ethereum itself. It's widely spread throughout the world and institutions are into it. Even countries like El Salvador now accept Bitcoin only and not any other alts as a legal tender. It will continue as that and these 2-10 spots will surely change places as time goes by.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin adoption by banks - good or bad? on: November 09, 2021, 03:27:18 PM
Of course this is a good thing, the more bitcoin adoption it will make the bitcoin circulation more active and this will make demand high and prices rise, banks certainly have a lot of strict regulations if they accept bitcoin then this will make both of them get big profits.
Good for most people but for those maximalist, they would still prefer anonymity offered by some dex or cex compared to this. Bitcoin adoption by banks could potentially be a stepping stone to further enhancements of banking industry. The integration of cryptocurrency to a bank means having more option than the typical fiat only transaction. These days where blockchain technology is far more advance than typical fiat system, many people would surely have a transaction in blockchain. But nonetheless, this move contradicts the vision of Satoshi of having a permission less, decentralised digital currency that needed no intermediary or central bank.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Blockchain, Platform, Ecosystem will be the Most Competitive for Eth 2.0? on: November 08, 2021, 04:44:47 PM
In lets say the next Bear Market within a year or two.

- Polkadot

- Binance Chain

- Binance Smart Chain

- Algorand

- Solana

- Fantom

- Cardano

- Synthetics

- Avalanche

- Terra

- Cosmos

- Polygon

Any other Popular ones that I missed out on?

What's up with Binance Chain & Binance Smart Chain  Huh

Or will Eth 2.0 kill all above in the list? But then again Eth 2.0 is like Coca Cola Brand in the Crypto market so there's always a Pepsi like Brand competitor to Eth 2.0 right and if so which Blockchain do you think it will be?

Which blockchain is the Fastest, Cheapest, Most Secure  Cool? Usually this determines the winner right?
I'd say Solana. Aside from being No. 4 in world top Market Capitalisation, it has lots of offerings that is very similar to Eth and even much higher. BNB centralisation is a problem and could destroy your investment in no time. Solana in the other hand is one of the fastest blockchain out there having more transaction per second than any other top competitor. Its scalability is quite good too so there's no doubt that soon this gem would surpass BNB and can compete ETH dominance in the market.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the hype on: November 08, 2021, 04:40:30 PM
We have had several hyped coins and token lately and many have been a victim of hyped projects that ended up crashing in not long after attaining a very little profit margin. Been extremely careful with how we go about our analysis will help save a lot. Just wondering why developers would come up with nice projects only to crash after a short while keeping investors in losses.
Yeah and its getting out of hand recently specially the moon called projects and meme ones. Some are even using hyped movie names for their advantage like the squid coin. It is very important to know the basic fundamentals of the project. The team behind it and their track record. Don't go to investing blindly without even taking these steps. Lots of whales are also playing specially this meme ones like Shiba inu and Doge coin. Most probably, those trapped people are the new ones. Spread awareness and teach.
76  Economy / Economics / Re: There are many online jobs out there. Crypto Opportunity. on: November 08, 2021, 04:36:08 PM
So there are jobs everywhere.
Where?

I mean, I'm 56 years old. I'm fairly knowledgeable when it comes to computers, but far from an expert. Lost my job because of the pandemic, and I'm now having a really hard time, and jobs don't seem to abound.
Specifically talking about cryptocurrencies, I took an online course, but I'm not an expert by any means. In fact, joining this forum has shown me (and keeps showing me, every day) the extent of my ignorance in the matter.
Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks to all.  Smiley
There are lots of course you could take online for programming sir where you can land a work to. Just like this one https://www.coursera.org. They offer free course for programming that you can apply a job to at Freelancer.com or even here at this forum at Services section. Or learn about developing a website. It is in demand these days specially that lots of projects are emerging that needs this. Also lots of projects that is related to crypto is available at crypto.jobs
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Preparing for the future. on: November 08, 2021, 04:17:14 PM
Unfortunately with the current projection of things, the pay from that job that you have spent most years in school preparing for and trying to get may soon not be able to sustain you economically in the near future.
I disagree with this. I graduated in College and living a life that I always dreamed of. I don't think that by not studying specially that these days competition is really hard where companies are hiring the top students having good credentials than those whos at the back of the classroom. I am in a construction field and this is one of the most in demand job out there specially that in my country, we are still developing. Lots of projects are out there are waiting with high income return. However, in the near future where less infrastructure are built upon, and digitalisation is already a global standard, I still don't think that those computer based work are much supreme than being a supervisor in a mall nor selling products.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the best advice? on: November 07, 2021, 05:05:08 PM
With the way crypto world is going now and everything is techy futuristic what advice would you give your children when growing up?

Gaming as we know it can now give you monthly payments and as a parent would you allow your kids to get into this just for the money making? To be honest kids are more good at gaming
Adopt and learn new things specially tech that would probably be the future. Aside from giving them the chance to pursue what they want in life, it is still a must that we care for their financial status. Investing in things that for them would be a thing in the future would be a great start. Another thing is teach them the trading discipline. Teach them how to trade and spot gems.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: 6 billion to solve world hunger? on: November 07, 2021, 04:58:03 PM
Have you read the latest news?
"Elon Musk is ready to sell his Tesla shares to donate $6 billion".(source).
Quote
This comes in response to a tweet made by David Beasley, director of the UN’s World Food Programme (WFP).

In his tweet, Beasley had mentioned the $36 billion increase in Musk’s net worth after Hertz ordered 100,000 Teslas. He added that one-sixth of this increase, which is $6 billion, could help save 42 million people who are suffering from famine.

If interpreted based on google data, that number is only about 2% of the total value of Musk's wealth.

What do you think,
Does it really only take 2% of musk's wealth to solve world hunger?
How do we assess this phenomenon based on its purpose, from a humanity or economic perspective?

Nope. I think 6B$ cannot sustain a year long feeding for these hungry people. These people are there because most of them don't want to work. Some are just unlucky enough. Some have disabilities. Even if UN give them a job, some of them wont do it out of laziness. So yeah, 6B$ wont even fund it til mid 2022. However, countries like africa really needs help. This amount will do a lot for them but again cant sustain a year long fund.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is best and safest STABLE coin? on: November 07, 2021, 04:41:23 PM
A stable coin that is backed by BTC is one of the best for me. Dollars on Chain or DoC is a 100% bitcoin collateralised stable coin that offers all the bitcoin features but with no volatility. It is built on rsk network that is a side chain for bitcoin and is 60% merge mined by bitcoin miners. One of the most highly secured network and never been hacked before.
