Is trading on Kucoin better than Hotbit? Sometimes Kucoin doesn't go well
I would definitely use Kucoin than Hotbit. I don't know why but there is something off with Hotbit.

like warren buffet likes to say - `theres always somethings wrong with any of them` ahahahah shhshshhshshshshshs Cool Cool Cool Cool https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7889220/ 🤕 https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/warren-buffett-calls-wells-fargo-account-fraud-total-disaster-settlement-2020-2-1028936995

CEX preferences depends on the geo and current regulations so what could work for you might be very likely be unreachable for EU geo and vice versa

dashman is still active, right? https://github.com/moocowmoo/dashman/pulls

Good question. Last commit that got integrated into Master branche was on 19th of april 2019.
So i'm not totally sure it is still getting updated.

But i do think people still use it, so its active in that sense.
Maybe you could shoot him a message ?

the tool is in active use thats for sure - i opened 3 prs so far, with first around a year ago, but there was zero activity on the repo  Huh

All i know is that after moocowmoo shutdown his shared masternode service, he is keeping a very low profile.
That seems to extend to his dashman tool.

i see. if theres no movement close to .16 rollout maybe core would take over since dashman is not that big. or i could keep it fresh. anyways, ill keep my fork up, lmk

65  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2FA HW security keys, Yubikey&such. on: March 31, 2020, 05:56:04 PM
I found other security keys

Yubico YubiKey 5 NFC
Yubico Yubikey 5C
Yubico YubiKey 5 Nano
CryptoTrust OnlyKey
Thetis Fido U2F Security Key
Thetis FIDO U2F Security Key with Bluetooth
Google Titan Security Keys
Kensington Verimark Fingerprint Key

but since I haven't yet had any experience with security keys it's hard for me to know which one is the best.

Am I right in understanding that the most functional and convenient to date is the Yubico YubiKey 5 NFC security key?

Yubico proved to be a leader in the field. The first three are different in form-factor/type of USB terminal/NFC presence, DYOR.

theres also new keys with fido2 https://www.yubico.com/products/security-key/

yes, yubico are currently leading here. i would recommend to test couple different models since they have different workflows (nfc/port)

thats a tricky question because both could be centralized

so that new bill will make all blockchains without backdoors illegal? 🤔:

I read up news, Trezor hardware wallet already has further expanded ability with a secure and comfortable two-factor authentication.

Trezor reserve as a hardware security U2F with backup/recovery functions (seed/mnemonic phrase)[1]

disclaimer: i don't use it, you can read manual setting up trezor as 2fa hardware[2] with your own risk

[1]. https://wiki.trezor.io/U2F
[2]. https://wiki.trezor.io/User_manual:Two-factor_Authentication_with_U2F

very cool, but how practical is this tho? trezors are huge comparing to the rest of the devices in the segment

The privacy problem of Dash that exists at the beginning still not be solved

What privacy problem ? Maybe you are confusing Dash with Monero ?

Monero :

* easily traceable first two years --> https://www.finder.com.au/researchers-say-they-can-trace-over-80-of-monero-transactions
* official Monero website got hacked (this is more recent) --> https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2019/11/official-monero-website-is-hacked-to-deliver-currency-stealing-malware/

oo thats a good one Smiley) he probably meant previous articles on tracing privatesend like https://www.reddit.com/r/dashpay/comments/bj7kh0/i_traced_a_privatesend_this_time_no_educated_guess/

10k per block is too low for an attack id say. my point is that if its mixing op - not much of a mixing going on Cool

I suspect this is a stress test. Dash currently at 700.000 transactions.

theres a rebust testnet for such runs, no? especially now, after it caught that nasty pow stuff a while ago/ you not gonna get same scope on mainnet. that would make sense if theres 10x spike on testnet, right?)

whats with that huge TX wave for last few hours? massive blocks with TX from unknown hands https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/block.dws?1238146.htm etc

Maybe mixing transactions ? Looks like someone is mixing some Dash.

Link : https://dashradar.com/charts/mixing-transactions-per-day

These denominations that are used for Dash PrivateSend mixing :

doesn't look like anything else. why would pools ignore mixing TXs tho. its not like blocks were flashed so theres plenty of space for relay. UPD so it does looks like mixing. block contrast is due relay/resource.

you guys are forgetting that cex has nothing to do with the chain itself and its state.

I see there's a testnet pool noted in discord good things to come Smiley

Yes, indeed, here is the link, people can also build testnet wallet
http://45.77.1.27:17923/static/

This is a major milestone, it will allow more dev and miners to join AXE

yes, we just restarted the testnet, no binaries yet so you have to build from development branch for now https://github.com/AXErunners/axe/tree/development
It's very nice that testnet has been started and there is no binaries.

check Releases...

78  Local / Новички / Re: RaspiBlitz - хиповый Lightning нод на базе RPi (BTC/LTC) on: March 03, 2020, 06:39:32 AM

Shocked
это ln "оболочка" в коробке?  Huh
