I just talked to a economics Phd and we analyzed some stats surrounding BTC. We made some good/worst case scenarios and took the average of those scenarios. Our price prediction for 2020 = 10,750 USD  It's a really good economist if s/he can predict price in 6 years time up to 5th decimal sign. As I said, we made some assumptions for worst /best turnouts and averaged those. This practise is called educated guessing and the finance world doesn't do much more than that and 10750$ no 10$75 cents |

It is a well established coin with a solid developer team. The first POW+POS combo coin.
But it doesn't offer too much other than that, that is why I don't think it is a wise investment.
Do you know what Sunny King is undertaking on? Sidechains. I do know that, but that doesn't mean everything works out fine. It isn't even sure if the idea will be implemented into peercoin. |

Why would anyone buy NxT when they can load up a 365 day graph on coinmarketcap and see that NxT hasn't recovered to when it was $90-$110 million back in early 2014?
The NxT whales are working overtime and need to convince suckers on the internet to buy into their get quick rich scheme (8 wallets took $50 million NxT at 1.5 BTC, no taint analysis to stop socks so you just made BCnext very wealthy).
Meanwhile there are numerous alternatives to NxT now which are capitalizing on the 2.0 trend, so NxT's first mover advantage by releasing in 2013 is effectively over when we consider alternatives like Ethereum, Bitshares, Node, et cetera.
So you rather buy a coin that is currently at its peak? One reason to buy NXT now is to profit from the way to low price. Also everyone knows you are just FUDing everycoin exept NEM. I was always under the thought the faster you pay it the more weight is off your shoulders so I don't quite understand why others are disagreeing.
because people think that investing the money instead of paying it back will yield a higer return than the 4.4%. But those guys don't think about taxes and risk. |

I found a big problem in PD2 last night - the ">99.99" and "<0.01" games turn out to have had a 50.5% house edge all along, not 1% as was advertised. I saw one guy posting his results, he was playing the 0.01% game over and over, rolled in the top 0.01% of possible rolls, but was awarded a loss, not a win. It appears that you only have a 0.005% chance of winning the 0.01% game, so the payout is only half what it should be to give a 1% edge.
