PSU is not a crap PSU as they are gold cert one. Yes. Tech reported some faulty Ants and it will be worked on Thank you!! They probably have hardware faults and need to be rebooted or powered down. Sometimes a reboot won't correct the faults. One of my ants was under-performing. I checked it and it had faults. I rebooted and the faults came back, crap. I powered down, waited, then back up and all is good(and is still good). You paid for the hosting so you should be able to contact them and have them check the fans, the temp, and have the host power them down and back up. But, considering you had issues just getting them online, I wouldn't count on good customer service. Give it a shot. Also, they are probably using a crap power supply. Voltage fluctuations could be causing the faults, if that is the actual problem. My ant's faults were caused by a split second power loss during a snowstorm where the lights dimmed. After it occurred, I checked my ants and they stayed up and were still mining. I checked my pool stats and one was under-performing. That's when I discovered the faults. If you can get the host to check your equipment and have them powered down and back up and you still have issues, request a power supply change. You paid good money for the hosting, they should comply. Else, try to get a refund on the hosting and have them shipped. Good luck. Sushi could you check this out for us? |

Sorry guys, i'm back online now. Tracking numbers... I will try to get them sooner PSU wise, this do works great! www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-75gSSB8M4cosair 750 pulls about 460w at the wall but do works! Wattage use wise, it's really depends on the PSU. GOLD Cert PSU, it works well but the cheeper PSU tends to pull more at the wall. What is the min. psu needed to power the S1? I had a 600W peak to peak, pos, bestbuy psu and it would turn off. I bought a 750w corsair and it works fine, but reading bitmain's site, it says "Power consumption: about 360 W from the wall". Just wondering what everyone else is running.

It is really depends on your PSU. You will need 2 rails +12V for the Antminer for SURE, NO SHARING with the cube... its a TX850M as posted above, so 280 for overclocked cube and max 560 for S1 = 840 hopefully will be good, if not have to hit newegg again  |

Over clocked antminer will pull about 480-560W depends on the PSU you use... It could be possible but pushing the limit is it possible to run an S1 overclocked with a erupter cube on a TX850M psu? If so I am in for an S1

1st... some customers who purchased Bitmain product else where is asking me to help their customer service and other issues. Per Bitmain's Warranty Term, the defective item must be returned before the exchange can take place and NO REFUND. (You can thank a few people who abused the advance part shipping and never returned the claimed to be defective items. That caused a STRICT EXCHANGE POLICY) There are many way to lower the hash-rate on purpose, so without receiving it at the Bitmain place, I don't think they will issue anything. You can just send the damaged PCB only, so you can continue to hash at 90 GH/s while wait for the warranty. What county are you located? I received a rma part back from sushi last week so give him some time.
My problem is a partially faulty board hashing at only 135GH/s, so it makes no economic sense to send it back. I think a better solution is to get a partial refund, which will be around 0.26BTC. |

UPS World Savor is the shipping method. Delivery problem is people having problem with the customs. (POLAND, RUSSIA, UKRAINE and some former Soviet Union Countries. CPU power connector will fit if you force it, but the PIN out on +12v and Ground are reversed between the CPU line and PCI-E line so PLEASE DO NOT DO IT!!! You will damage the Antminer. (that damage will not be covered by the warranty if the board was fried) Are you sure the 4 pin CPU connector fits into the 6 pin PCI-E?
I haven't tried, but I think they should have made it incompatible.
I have tried, and I was stunned to see it fit. Fortunately, I checked the pinout before switching on the PSU and I realised how bad things would turn. (there are 2x 4 pin for CPU, only one of them fits, the one with only D-shaped holes) |
