Everyone, if you use an account in NAS that also exists in NXT, then whenever you sent a transaction in NAS, this transaction can be copied over into NXT and your NXT can be stolen!
So dont use an account in NAS if that account exists in NXT!
also, it doesnt look like all 10 billion NAS were distributed in the genesis block. only 21.8 million were distributed. What happened to the other 9+ billion?

i wouldnt call him whitehat. He was definitely grey-hat, even bordering on black hat. The community's response could have very well drove him blackhat. Its not like he was the evilknievel dude who was a complete douchenozzle when he came around with demands, w/o any proof whatsoever; this dude had an *active* exploit and people were daring him to do his worst

the recent large drop in the value of BTC is a prime example of why 1st round get more. That and the fact that 1st rounders lose access to the investment

does nxt have this issue? This happens sometimes. It is the result of a thing called 'address collision'. While some stupid bitcoiners think it can only happene once in a blue moon, it is actually not that infrequent. Computers which generate addresses don't bother to look up whether or not a so called 'new address' has already been generated and used. When you computer generates a new address, it is totally possible that the address generated was generated previously and used by another person. The bitcoin protocol doesn't include anything to prevent this. Stupid eh?
This is a non issue. Atleast with bitcoin. After creating a public key, it is also a non-issue with NXT actually, with bitcoin, wouldnt an address collision be the full key? It seems like it would be, although I cant possibly see how this is "not that infrequent" full key collision chances with either BTC or NXT should be right at about the same frequency. Though at this moment, I would say it "happens" more often with BTC due to the much higher utilization that BTC has now.

Well, show is over. Guys, don't wait for NEX coz u waste ur time. Better look at Ethereum.
Ethereum is nice... but it is going to be very expensive when it comes out. NEX isn't expensive and is similarly as innovative. Sure, Ethereum wants to spin this idea of a 'Turing Machine', it's interesting but not sure how innovative that really is. Anyway, NEX will have something completely different. Yeah right. Even nem is well ahead of you. And look at your head start. You keep saying same thing

The nxt implememtation of turing languae is called AT or automated transactions. Its not live yet though. hopefully soon!

I think I understand what is going on now.
Someone in the Nxt community is not mentally sane, sometime he transform himself into Emule. Or course, Emule got to be coming from a dual personnality insane person.
Sorry, nothing againts you Emule, but I think you should get your pills. You will probably feel a lot better in a couple days!
IMO the reason the alter ego never registered emule on any of the other 3 forums sites is because he knows the admins of those forums will be able to correlate his IP address to the IP address of the alter ego. Of course, now that I've made this point public, Ill make a prediction: the alter ego will now go research and figure out how to proxy and will now login to other forums sites using emule to try to "prove" Im wrong. So come on over emule. Yes, fall into my trap! Someone please quote this for visibility

I'm arranging to fill the cells for these seven coins:
BTC LTC Ethereum Peercoin Dogecoin Mastercoin NXT
Is that ok?
looks good, perhaps BitShares-PTS instead peercoin or doge ? (because ltc and doge sharing the same technology?) not sure, what others thinking? Counterparty XCP Edit - mastercoins and Counterparty do not have their own blockchains and have to piggyback Bitcoin for a free ride. And bitcoin is not happy about it. this is completely lulz to me - BTC doesnt like it bc they are still in inflation phase, where miers arent mining for fees. NXt loves transactions!

From watching the video, companyB would have to create an auction for their domain in order for others to bid on it. If they wanted to keep their domain they would simply not auction it and have it indefinitely...
if companyB is the owner, but the system relies on companyB to put the domain up for auction, then people can squat just like in namecoin. What? Initially nobody owns it. An auction starts. Suppose company B wins. Now the don't have to sell it to company A no matter what. They don't have to start an auction. Now suppose instead company A wins the initial auction. Too bad, company A owns it. ok i misunderstood the video then. Since the video mentioned that the mechanism forced the network to determine the true market value of a name, then I thought that your mechaism to prevent squatting was that anyone could start an auction for it at any time, and the network would then be able to determine the market value that way, with some proceeds being returned to the previous owner to reimburse for their previous purchase. That was why I thought a hostile company with loads of money would just grab a competitors name. But if the reality that if you win the initial auction then the name is yours perm, then whats to keep everyone from immediately jumping in as soon as this feature is released and just grabbing tons of names for purposes of squatting? Sure, its an auction then, but what about future companies that want the name? Wouldnt this still be squatting?

It looks very interesting. What are the advantages to Namecoin? Not sure I understand how Bitshare the DNS to resolve the problem of cybersquatting?
Because its an aucion and subjected to being auctioned off at anytime to someone willing to pay more than you did. Though when this happens you do get wht you paid for it plus a tiny bit more returned to you.
