It is funny, but "NxtVSBTC" was bought because of misunderstanding how alias register system works (see here) He'll get his money back after selling the alias I believe can you please get us english speakers the short translated version of why he wanted that alias, what it means, and how it was a misunderstanding, and why he paid so much?

I noticed one feature or bug, not sure. I registered a word starting with an upper case first letter, then registered it again, but started with a lower case. Although the second transaction went ok and got confirmed, the alias still shows starting with an upper case first letter.
the 2nd one was considered a reassignment of the target URI

I am. Im giving out 200 NXT to each of the 19 people that were in the IRC chat room with me

will there be a weight of NXT attached to each stakeholder's vote? cause 1 account = 1 vote is easy to scam
I noticed that the difference between "numberOfBlocks" and current block height is usually 1, but it may increase as time fly. it seems that the current block height is more stable. I decide to start my assigning script twice when block_height=21999 and 22000 CfB already clarified.... use the field in the clients webpage And next feature, can we have it enabled at a block that gets built during the day, and not 2:45 in the AM?
what happens with all these fees? will they all go to the guy that generates the next block?
yes this is why NXT's implementation of PoS is so cool. Instead of buying $$$ hardware that becomes obsolete and depreciates, you buy NXT and that is what "mines" (or we call it forging) for you. NXT doesnt get old and it doesnt depreciate. Much easier on mother earth
On the aliases, am I hearing this right.
100 nxt instead of 1 nxt per alias?
You can use whatever fee you'd like. If someone else tries to register the same alias at the same time, then the higher fee transaction will get the alias. and its not just that... the account that will build the next block just chooses highest fees from ALL possible candidate transactions, regardless of whether or not its a request for a NXT transfer or a request to assign an alias. So just because you are the ONLY person to request an alias name, if you set too low a fee and too low a deadline, your request may expire before it is selected to be built into a block
seems like theres all of a sudden a lot more blocks at a faster rate. my guess is some people are forcing blocks via generating transactions to other accounts that they own. I would do that to expedite this process except I wasnt an original founder that got tons of nxt, so I dont have as much forging power as lots have, and I need to keep as much NXT as I can for forging power. Small chance but Id like to rake in some alias transaction fees!
Im sure I already used my luck up though, last week I scored a 700+ fee transaction. Thats prob all the luck Ill get

What's optimal strategy to place the fee ? What's the equilibrium. 100 Nxt for anyone with an adequate solution.
It has to be big enough to encourage lots of accounts forging (staying active for the health of the network) It has to be small enough to promote usage. I say flat .1% across the board

IF cfb advises against it then fine...
CFB is just a programmer and one of lesser stakeholders. Ppl should stop thinking that I'm an official spokesperson. You are also our only connection to BCnext at this point: the next Satoshi's second. On this note, I take this opportunity to thank you for all your support here. I've been following the thread and discussions from the beginning without necessarily being active, and can only admire your patience and generosity to help. Please don't disappear after dev hell yeah dude I wanna party with CfB next year when our rocket hits the moon! Im bringing vodka

hypothetical situation regarding a SINGLE account running on 2 different hallmarked nodes, each having different IPs.
First node is hallmarked with a with a date and weight of which I have forgotten both values. Second node is hallmarked with 2013-12-22 and a weight which I believe is well over the 1st nodes weight.
I started forging on the 1st node, then later started forging on the second node. Both nodes are allowing TCP7874 inbound from the network to the host.
Question1: Does the entire network just completely ignore the 1st node since it has the older date?
Question2: Is the 2nd node forging with the entire balance of the account's coins?
1. No. 2. Each node will be forging with the entire balance. Hallmark has no connection to Forging. ah.. that old date just invalidates the hallmark on that node, not the node or the forging account on it... got it. Also host#2 sees host#1 with a blue cloud, how on earth did that happen? But your answer to #2.... does the "you can generate the next block in..." message end up having the same exact time on each host? (I dont have access to 1 of them right now) or is it possible that by doing this that I double my forging power? cause that would be FREAKING AWESOME ETA: im at host#2 right now, and I see host#1's IP in the "active peers" window but its got a red flag on it. why is that?

So we can start before 2 blocks.
possibly, but maybe not. just depends how the software is coded, and which blockheight base it uses. does it use the one reported in the getStatus API, or the one reported by the getBlock API? These APIs have results that differ by 2. The latter is the one reported in the client. Just depends which the code uses. This is a great question originally posed to us by omo on pg 243

very odd.. I get this {"lastBlock":"6350066627939183166","numberOfAliases":0,"numberOfBlocks":21788,"lastBlockchainFeeder":"88.198.134.190","totalMemory":519176192,"freeMemory":456737760,"maxMemory":1037959168,"numberOfTransactions":5993,"numberOfUsers":2,"version":"0.4.1e","numberOfOrders":0,"time":2385366,"availableProcessors":4,"numberOfAssets":0,"numberOfAccounts":2447} but in my webpage, in the block section, block 6350066627939183166 is 21786. thats a difference of 2 Come-from-Beyond, are you up? Can someone comment on the block# disparity? It appears we cannot submit alias requests until after block 22000 is built, but which 22000 does that apply to: the result of the getStatus API being 22000 or the 2200 in the client? Since a particular blockID longnumberID has a different block height depending on where you look it up at?

does AA and aa a same alias or different? and i need record my alias somewhere myself or it can be found in the net?
your questions are answered in the thread. case insensitive. At this time I dont believe there is an API request that gives a list of aliases owned by an account, but it should be easily possible for this API to be added.
