62  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy? on: February 04, 2016, 07:33:16 AM
This question is really uninformed, it isnt a question anymore, it has been prooven multiple times that she lies and deceives, she is proven unthrusthworthy...

I have a question also  Grin
Will the DOGED address still start with D ? Or will it now start with V?
Also I have some coins in cold storage I can still import the private key in the new wallet yeah?
This really is going to be awesome VERGE is the future.

I think this has been solved in the past, they just add a new option, the old addresses stay in the blockchain and intact Smiley

Dont worry Wink
64  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drugs fuck you up, man on: February 02, 2016, 06:30:28 AM
Drugs should be made legal , probably then goverment will gain taxes instead of losing money fighting against it Smiley

I guess you are saying this by comparing drugs with alcohol consumption. Drugs is completely different from it. It's addiction will definitely ruin one's life. So, Governments will never legalize it.

The addiction rate of "legal" drugs are much higher, so is the mortality rate of any illigal drugs COMBINED, compared to the legal drug deaths in the usa. You're propagizing a false and intented false argument wielded by the state, the addiction rate of alcohol is MUCH higher than all other drugs combined. It's now prooven in other countries who let go of their false and unjust drugwar, that crime, addiciton goes down by 50 to 80%, just by not criminalizing addicts. Please do some research before bloating like a sheep....

Also, did you ever question why the usa has so many meth and black tar addicts, those people get this from their ILLIGAL dealer, even if they are just looking for weed, dealers push this shit, because it will get them customers for life.In countries that seperate soft and hard drugs, have MUCH MUCH lower crime and addiction rates... Believe it or not, the war on drugs CREATES addictions, not help abolish it...

67  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dark marketplaces? on: February 01, 2016, 03:27:42 PM
They obviously play some part... the most traded thing on the dark markets is apparently cannabis, which could be worth tens of billion dollars a year on the global market.
Lets face it, its much less harmful than alcohol and will eventually be legalised, but for now its a big driver for bitcoin.

But the cannabis is legalized in the US now, why would anybody buy from the darknet?

Because you still break the law federally and are prone to abuse by any police officer not having his day if you take it from the car..... Not to mention prices....
68  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Tien aanhoudingen in grootschalige bitcoinszaak on: February 01, 2016, 03:19:32 PM

70  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Proposal for solving blockchain size issue. Managing a 500GB blockchain on: February 01, 2016, 03:17:30 PM
To be honestly i dont think a 500GB Blockchain should be a problem in the near future.
SSD's will get pretty cheap.

There should be a way to compirimise the data once it has been written to the blockchain, this will be implemented in the coming years IMO

Maybe we should repair the fact that Zeit wallets need those repairs!? I was first told here I was crazy or that I did something wrong, and now I see a tutorial on how to fix it Smiley
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storjcoin X (SJCX) - A Coin for Decentralized Cloud Storage on: January 24, 2016, 01:47:12 PM
so in order to rent out disk space, you need to invest 13/14 btc, ok.... on to the next one, cuz this is ridiculous man....

Actually 0.6btc at the current price, and 0.3btc a month ago..   but who counts, right ?     goodbye

Hahahaha, slight miscalculation  Roll Eyes

Do-able, but I agree with lowering it a bit Smiley

Can anyone help me, because I'm getting properly ticked off Smiley

I love the idea of storjcoin, since I had a similar idea years ago, yet no coding skills Smiley I installed driveshare and starting renting out my diskspace. After a few weeks of no rewards, yet max usage of my diskspace, I found out that the paing address needs a balance of at least 10 storjcoins through this thread.

So I did, I now have 10.868 on the address 1DxXDNPkuNoYU1GRyBdJadY4KedcX1ZjNf TxId: f86b22ed1203a965426abaf56e093fefff9e4fa72707215f9fd294d53da3aafb. This address is also the pay out address of driveshare...

Driveshare still states that i have 0 sjcx on that same address, while this is incorrect. I refreshed and restarted alot, didnt help. What am I missing?

Also friendly note, maybe it would be nice for starting users to be warned when they start sharing space for nothing...

Is there still anything I can do to aquire some DCR, like the notion, premine not so much, but like the concept Smiley
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will go down 100%? on: January 18, 2016, 08:15:40 AM
Bitcoin going down 100% = Bitcoin going to 0

Of course won't happen, even if does, won't be in a sudden drop.

I would wait some more time before doing the next move

I think this is a flawed logic, when the day comes that bitcoin is rendered absolete, the price fall will be very sudden, I think within 24 hours, as everyone tries to sell off their bitcoin, again this is my view Smiley
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storjcoin X (SJCX) - A Coin for Decentralized Cloud Storage on: January 18, 2016, 07:17:19 AM
Have been sharing storage for over a month now, yet no reward whatsoever. Am I doing something wrong, because my disk space is getting used Smiley

You have to have at least 10K SJCX coins in the wallet you're mining to in order to get rewards.

For real!? I've read alot before starting, where could I have found this?

79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mike Hearn is wrong. Bitcoin isn't dead on: January 18, 2016, 06:01:52 AM
What really gets me going is the fact that he devoids bitcoin, yet is going to develop a blockchain with 43 banks, what a traitor you are than, even worse than the devs holding back the blocksize due to investments, Mike is now doing the same....
80  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dark marketplaces? on: January 18, 2016, 05:55:10 AM
My advise would be to stay our of those markets unless that is your market.  Obviously, you do not know much about them, so I am assuming that is not your market.  Those places give BTC a bad name and do not help with the advancement of BTC.  Again, this is only my opinion.  I personally do not support those markets in any way.

I wouldnt be so judgy, most of bitcoins value is BECAUSE of those darkmarkets, and the demand they create, not regardless....

In the old days, the bitcoin was valuable due to the dark markets. But it is totally different now. It has more legitimate use.

Dont underestimate the demand these dark markets still create. Do you think criminals would use bitcoin if there were no darkmarkets, what about all the drug users never wanting to use bitcoin, but NEED to to get good quality drugs... This STILL plays a HUGE part in the bitcoinrate...
