You have a point there and I couldn't agree with you more because as far as i know, most people I know got involved in bitcoin because of the profit they get in bitcoin. They don't use it for the primary purpose why bitcoin was created.

When I think of currency the first that comes to mind is bitcoin and I think that the bitcoin will become the world currency in the future. It is been used for payment and services so it is a currency, though not all merchants and companies accepted it. It is started to get recognized globally.

In my opinion, bitcoin will take over the world and would become a global currency. We are now in a digital age, i think all the fiat money will be replace with a digital currency but it will take a long time, it will happen in the future.

It is just a natural reaction from people who don't believe enough with bitcoin. They are just afraid that they might lose all their investment if the value of bitcoin crushes. We should support bitcoin and help spread the good benefits of bitcoin to our lives and the economy of our country.

Bitcoin needs approval so that it will be legally use to the people in a country. It means that it is accepted and recognized as valuable, an asset and a currency that could be used as payment to products and services you acquired.

It depends on the strategy of the bitcoin owner, if he sells it and he still gain from it then why not. Perhaps he really need the money that is why he is selling it. But when he sells because he is just afraid that the bitcoin will burst and he loses everything then he just made the stupidiest decision of his life.

What is the main goal of bitcoin? For me, is to give people the monetary freedom, to enable people to transact directly to any strangers around the world without being controlled by banks or government, to be the global currency for a more unified world. I think, it is not realize yet, but we are on our way. Many countries now are accepting bitcoins and declared legal to use. That's a big sign that bitcoin are making progress.

In my point of view, cryptocurrencies are still be very well recieved and well used by people but I think five years is not enough time to get all the people in the world to convince that this is the future of money. It takes time but in the future it will happen.

I think the global regulation won't kill the bitcoin but we know that the government will do everything to make all the things under their control. Bitcoin becomes hot commodity now and it can also affects the economy. Perhaps it can affect the main purpose why bitcoin was created, that it would be decentralized and nobody should control it.

I think a lot of people around us has told us that Bitcoin is a FAD or a SCAM or a Ponzi scheme. Some of our closest relatives have told us to SELL before the BUBBLE will burst. {guess we hear that enough?} The media is telling everyone that Bitcoin is the tool of criminals and terrorists and child pornographers and paedophiles. Most of these people are not invested in Bitcoin, but it looks like they are looking for reasons to attack it. How many of you want to prove them wrong? I sometimes look at these people and I think... WTF are you on about? I seldom bring up the subject anymore, because everything coming out of their mouths are negative. The only time when they are interested, is when the price hits a all time high. Then they want advice to invest in Bitcoin and when they buy at the ATH, and the price drop with 10%, then they panic sell....lose money....blame Bitcoin. I am sooooo sick of this. I hope we can finally prove them wrong in the near future, because this is definitely getting under my skin now.  Yes, I can wait to see the shock faces of the negative people who don't believe in bitcoin, I would laugh and feel their regrets that they didn't invest in it. Those haters that attack bitcoin and say false news about it will someday eat their words and feel shame about it. They will see our success and be envy about it. |

I really wonder to some people who think bitcoin is a ponzi scheme. It has made so many people rich and doing better till now.
But I don't understand the reason behind this type of thought?
Here in my country, before bitcoin was introduced, there were lots of ponzi scheme happens and there were many victims of it. They have had enough shares of the frauds and scam specially online. And when the bitcoin was introduced, they thought that it is another ponzi scheme so they don't give time to know more about it and understand it. Some also were haters that they want to ruin the bitcoin reputation. Give it a time because bitcoin community is growing, all the negative people will surely wants to invest in bitcoin. |

Bitcoin is the first ever created cryptocurrency and was name as the father of all the emerging crypto coins. Yes, of course, it will stay dominant, most used and the most popular of all either short term or long term. There are millions of bitcoin holders around the world and nothing beats that.

We will not get tired of explaining to the newbies about how they could earn and use bitcoin in a right way, giving them the helpful information that they need to survive here. There are greedy and bad people out there riding the popularity of bitcoin and used it to scam people for their benefits. That is a very sad thing to hear, but how can we stop them? With regards to any investment, specially to bitcoin, before investing, one should equipped themselves with enough knowledge about cryptocurrency to avoid getting scam. You should research more and read more and be very careful.

Bitcoin is used as a currency and as an investment. I have read one of the post here in this forum that bitcoin can be used to buy anything even in foodchain in their country. Here in my country, Philippines, there is also a few merchants that accepts bitcoin. For now, most people used it as an investment because of the huge earning it can offer.

Why, until now, government all over the world still doesn't trust bitcoin?
Not all government don't trust bitcoin because here in the Philippines, bitcoin was declared legal. In fact, the government will give permit to 10 platform exchange companies to operate here in our country. That is a very good news to us because it will mean more job opportunities for us. |

In recent times, some new ICO companies have been kidding about Bitcoin on Twitter, Facebook for their ICO promotion. I think this promotion way is very negative for Bitcoin. They showed that Bitcoin will be destroyed and their token will become number one. They have presented it in such a way that the price of Bitcoin will not rise anymore. I think this type of promotion is very negative in the market.
This is a normal scenario, any companies will promote their product or token and will criticized the competitor to make their token appealing to the people. But a smart user should always choose the best, if they will learn more about bitcoin then they will not be allured by the sweet talks. Bitcoin is still the best, the first and proven cryptos in years. |

Hey guys, i need some suggestions and opinions about this.
I think the factors that affects the value of bitcoin is the black propaganda of some people that trying to get the bitcoin down. The spread negative news and criticize the bitcoin and some people easily carried away and believe those lies and claiming that bitcoin is just a bubble waiting to burst. There are also bad people riding the popularity of bitcoin and use it with their illegal activities to scam people like what happen in the Philippines were two couple amasses a large sum of money by scamming people using bitcoin. That is why some are resorting to panic selling that affects the value of bitcoin. |
