Miracle #1

"He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth."(The Qur'an, 6:101)

Wow such proof. I'm sold. Am now Muslam.  Roll Eyes

Only fools will look at the quran or bible and believe anything it has to say, especially regarding anything scientific. Look how you take that one line and project some deeper meaning on to it when all it and the bible explains for the origin of everything is "god did it". Absolute rubbish.

63  Other / Politics & Society / Re: "I choose to be... FAT" on: March 22, 2015, 03:24:46 PM
Op, did you even watch the video? She's not even advocating being fat but just eating when you're hungry and stopping when you're full. And besides, she's not even fat. Looks quite healthy to me.

64  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: March 09, 2015, 03:49:52 PM
Some people are so greed blind they will hold forever. And that is little sad. Do not wait for price rise to some mythical values - use your bitcoin on daily basis.

bitcoin isn't created to the purpose of people using it as an investment vehicle but as a currency. It is also insane to think that people will hold until it reach a very improbable value (say $1m per bitcoin) then sell it afterwards.True, you may be a millionaire by holding those coins, but no one in the right state of mind would buy such a thing priced at $1m unless there is a 100% of profit from it. Only the rich can afford that.

Bitcoin can be used how ever one wants to and that's the great thing about it. If you want to use it as a currency go right ahead but some are seeing the opportunity as a speculative investment, but they could also be wanting to use it as a currency in the future. You also don't need to hold until it's worth millions. Even worth a thousand would do and I think that price is easily achievable and at the current value so I think it's silly to spend it right now personally.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: Greece now targets tax evaders! next step cyprus style! on: March 09, 2015, 03:45:27 PM
I don't think Greece have ever not targeted tax evaders or turned a blind eye to it just like pretty much every other nation doesn't (well, unless you've got connections. And the gov might not be able to take your coins away but they'll try and if they can't they can always lock you up in prison. You've always got to play by their rules sadly.

67  Economy / Services / Re: Selling my signature space on: February 23, 2015, 06:37:18 PM

I will sell it 1 month at a time for 0.3 btc. pm if you are interested.

0.3 a month?  Shocked Do you mean 0.03? Seniors only get 0.1 for 50 posts here so as a Full Member you will get no where near this. Nobody really buys signatures individually either so I suggest choosing one from the link pedrog provided.
Some campaigns can pay you more than 0.1 if you are full member. In example bitmixer is paying 0.14 for full members per month.

For a ridiculous amount of posts and you can only do 50 max per week. Plus it's not even open to new members.
68  Economy / Services / Re: Any signature campaigns for me? on: February 23, 2015, 06:32:51 PM
I use LuckyBit. I highly recommend them; they pay on time and the pay is great.

I don't gamble. I find it pointless.

Nor do I. I find it a great sig campaign though.

But you have to gamble to join (though the min bet is tiny and you'll essentially make it back with one or two posts I think). Luckybit does seem to be the highest paying campaign at the moment per post especially for Full Members, but if you don't want to join that one because of the bet just choose one from the signature campaign.

70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos said Give Bitcoin Two Years on: February 11, 2015, 11:32:21 AM
Would you agree or not?
Bitcoin Only Needs Two Years
Starting from when?

Mt. Gox started trading Bitcoins four years ago.

Two years from now, though I don't know why he or anyone else makes these sort of baseless predictions. If they're wrong they look pretty silly so that's why I stay out of speculating on the price or rate of adoption. We can only wait and see what the future holds.
71  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-02-11] Forbes: Feds Seize Over $7 Million in Bitcoin & Litecoin on: February 11, 2015, 11:20:37 AM
Well, if you use Bitcoin for illegal activities.... you should accept that you might get that knock on the door.  Tongue

Some people are still under the impression that Bitcoin is annonymous. Did the Silkroad bust not open their eyes, to what can be done by the feds?

Some more coins to be added to the fed kitty for auction!

Bitcoin isn't anonymous if you don't do anything to protect yourself, but it can be if you're careful. People get caught when they screw up in other ways; they don't usually get caught from using bitcoin but there's other weak links where they got sloppy.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What good have you done with Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2015, 09:36:26 AM
I haven't done anything good with it. However, I may in the future but I'm currently saving it as a long-term investment so I'd like to do good with it when I can do more with it. I definitely see the potential in bitcoin to do much good around the world.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you still believe bitcoin will free you from paying tax one day? on: January 31, 2015, 09:34:20 AM
I never thought it would ever free me from taxes.

Only 3 things for sure in life; Birth, Death, and Taxes

Wise man we have here. The truth from the start.

Not really. If you're really smart you can avoid only one  of these options. Guess which one?  Grin
74  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoincharts down! on: January 14, 2015, 12:06:10 PM
You do know there are other sites for your needs? Just google 'bitcoin charts' (I'd give you specific ones but not sure what charts you're after).
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is why bitcoin is crashing on: January 14, 2015, 12:03:51 PM
I sense you guys are still in the denial phase

I sense you are in the newb troll phase  Cheesy. Bitcoins aren't comparable to tulips because you can't send tulips around the world in seconds for little to no fee. Just because the price is low doesn't mean the denial face is operational. Give it time newb then we'll see who's right.
76  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lionel Messi Vs Cristiano Ronaldo on: January 02, 2015, 08:13:47 PM
Messi. No doubt (though I am slightly biased because I think Ronaldo is a over-hyped playboy and can't stand him).

None of them, Steven Gerrard....

Lol, Gerrard is great don't get me wrong, but hardly world class and not compared to these two.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think will be the best invesments for 2015? on: January 02, 2015, 08:10:15 PM
The best investment will be something none of us have even heard of, just like most things that get big they always start off small and the visionaries who got in early reap the rewards. Let's hope thats us with bitcoin at some point.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shrem to jail for two years!!! Holy shit! on: December 20, 2014, 03:41:12 PM
Wow, he's a very lucky kid with an obviously great legal team. His charges and sentence could have been much worse. It's too bad he couldn't have just listened to his inner voice and not done it. If you watch The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin you will see several times that he looks nervous and says something like, I need to make sure we're not breaking any laws, that we're compliant. Watch that movie with the knowledge of what he did and you will spot the fear in his behavior.

I think it's very easy to get into trouble being an exchange or money transmitter when you're dealing with bitcoins. So many regulations and hoops you've got to jump through.

Franklin Jurado got 90 months for that crime. Willie Whitehurst was sentenced to 151 months. Anthony Foster was sentenced to 121 months. Brandon Royce Taylor was sentenced to 180 months. Thamous Eugene Taylor - 60 months. Cynthia Marquez - 120 months. One after another conspirators to money laundering get long sentences. 24 months is like a walk in the park compared to what could have been a healthy chunk of his life.

And the banks get away scott free.
79  Other / Off-topic / Re: How often do you check bitcoin price? on: December 20, 2014, 03:38:38 PM
Back when I first started with bitcoin back in late 2013 I used to check the price like ten times a day. Now I only ever check it when I see a thread on here talking about why it's gone up/down.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing bitcoins illegal? on: December 08, 2014, 02:08:24 PM
It's obviously a crime as you have stolen someone elses property (even though it's digital), but whether the police would be able to do anything about it is another matter.
