61  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful with security! I learned my lesson. on: November 21, 2019, 02:55:29 PM
Oh well, painful mistake for you I guess. Look at the bright side. While 20k is a good amount of money, better learn a hard lesson losing the $20k rather than learning your lesson when you already have like $100k+ or more. Best of luck moving forward.

Correct! This is also my line of thinking when I was victimized by  phishing but so far, that incident has taught me to be more security conscious and be more vigilant with our assets.

Needless to say, we must employ certain security practices  like installing security products, using password managers. etc.,  that could help in strengthening the  defenses of our systems.

Most importantly, no matter what happens to us, just don't give up! Imho.
62  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best place to start learning about crypto? on: November 19, 2019, 02:32:39 PM
If you wanted to learn about alt coins trading and other related aspects  you would get the acknowledgment in you tube and google i think the most you will do practical related stuff in alt coins trading the greatest knowledge you accommodate and being able to gather useful information & you would able to get a huge benefits.

Totally agree! Also, I think that the best strategy to learn about crypto is to learn it in theory and at the same time, we have to practice what we learned! So in other words, we must do hands on activity as much as we could on our crypto endeavor!

Remember, "there is no substitute for experience!"  Smiley
63  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [INFO] Using Binance Verify / [ALERT] For Fake Binance Labs Email on: November 19, 2019, 01:56:30 PM
Aside from using Binance verify, I think its also important to mention this security feature of Binance to prevent users from getting phished and this is their Anti-Phishing Code feature which should be enabled in our account settings.

The beauty of this feature is that we can immediately tell if an email supposedly coming from Binance is legit or not because if we have activated in our account the Anti-Phishing code, then we can see it inside the legitimate email sent by Binance as illustrated below:

64  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best place to start learning about crypto? on: November 19, 2019, 12:40:45 PM
I may sound biased but THB, I learned mostly about crypto in this forum and up to this day, I  still continue to learn new things around this platform!

But of course, I have to supplement this learning process by reading crypto related articles, ebooks, videos, interacting with different social media platforms, crypto project websites and more. Just keep it in mind that learning should be fun! Smiley
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO] LIVE! MOOZICORE - World's 1st music streaming service on blockchain! on: November 19, 2019, 10:07:45 AM
Of course! Any project that don't have good development  will surely fail in the end and this has been proven on previous projects that suddenly went inactive or its has been abandoned by its developers. I hope this will not be the case for Moozicore. Smiley
but i think this project is good but unfortunately it takes a too long time in the ICO/IEO and the current application that this project has i think it's not good as the current music streaming like joox or others

Well we don't have control over that matter since I believe the team did their best to have the right timing on their IEO but in terms of product development, we have to understand that it is a tedious and repetitive process to eliminate every possible bug in order to have a solid product onced released.

I only get a little from the bounty, but as long as MZG is in the exchange with a pair of USD I think the price will still be attractive without having a pair on BTC or ETH,
I think its a good idea since some projects did tie up their token to stablecoins such as USDT and it resulted to a more stable price range.
66  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Need your help, Petition against central Bank in Pakistan for Cryptocurrency on: November 18, 2019, 12:31:26 PM
I doubt lawmakers will even bother to look into this petition as they haven't ever cared about anything regular folks found important and due for a change. I'm pretty sure that they aren't even at a point where they understand how crypto in general works, so they generally rather just hold back for a while to see how similar laws in other jurisdictions work.

That is a sad reality and we cannot deny it!. In fact, there is no standard framework for crypto adoption among Government policy makers that they either end up clueless on how best to adopt this emerging technology or become more antagonistic of any change involving crypto for fear of any unwanted side effects on status quo. Imho.
67  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Need your help, Petition against central Bank in Pakistan for Cryptocurrency on: November 18, 2019, 09:02:55 AM
Aside from referencing legal discussions from other country, I think it might be good also if you could rally the support of your local politicians or even the ones that have high Government positions to lobby and support for your cause. Imho.

Steamtyme, maybe its time to try something new, most security programs offer 30 or more days trial, so there are no costs and risks.
Any reason in particular or just because of the frustrations that I had mentioned? Those have largely passed, and my Sub is up in 7 months I believe? I just want to make sure I'm not missing something glaringly obvious as to why I should switch maybe sooner. I will likely try out a few  trials next time around, just to get a decent idea of what is out there.

Maybe this security news - McAfee antivirus software impacted by code execution vulnerability would persuade McAfee users to reconsider their security options though I think its just normal since I assume all security products has had their own share of security vulnerabilities also.

Btw, have guys tried Zonealarm Antivirus and Firewall? I find their firewall component superb too! Smiley

I don't want to give assurances about the project but so far I still have confidence in them so as the investors and those that didn't sold their token for a penny. So we will see what will happen next and hopefully it will be for good. Smiley
I think that although investors do not sell it at cheap prices, if this project does not have a good development, MZG prices will continue to decline

Of course! Any project that don't have good development  will surely fail in the end and this has been proven on previous projects that suddenly went inactive or its has been abandoned by its developers. I hope this will not be the case for Moozicore. Smiley

8 Ways Free VPN Services Are Making Money from You
Four ways that a free VPN can profit from its users

Wala nman talagang safe kahit sino pag nag online tayo. Smiley

If the project performs as what is expected, then there is a very good chance that those who have staked their MZG will get very good returns. There is no point selling my MZG on a low price - might as well stake them to get additional tokens. I'll take my chances! Smiley
Just hope the project can run smoothly so that all your dreams can be achieved, btw before I've never seen a music project like this successful, could this possibly be the first?

I don't want to give assurances about the project but so far I still have confidence in them so as the investors and those that didn't sold their token for a penny. So we will see what will happen next and hopefully it will be for good. Smiley

Hardware wallet all the way, i don't trust ccleaner software and the rest, if you used to cc cleaner very well you should know that it sometimes deletes off some files in windows and your pc won't run without giving you notice of missing window files, safe yourself the headaches and go for hardware wallet instead

I'm a long time Ccleaner user and I agree with @Lucius's preference for it, but so far, I haven't had any experience of instability just like what you've mentioned.

But to be sure, I think its best to activate windows system restore as a contingency plan if something bad really happens unexpectedly.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO] LIVE! MOOZICORE - World's 1st music streaming service on blockchain! on: November 17, 2019, 08:41:09 AM
i think this was a great move from them because with this many bounty hunters can join the staking program
and you can read/join into this from https://twitter.com/Moozicore/status/1194935491935789056

yes you're right, by extended the registration date, bounty participants can also participate. so they still have reasons to hold MZG tokens. and hopefully this will also increase demand for the next few days.
I don't think this will add interest, just look at what we get from the staking program is MZG, it's only buying a little time before the price of MZG is getting destroyed

If the project performs as what is expected, then there is a very good chance that those who have staked their MZG will get very good returns. There is no point selling my MZG on a low price - might as well stake them to get additional tokens. I'll take my chances! Smiley
74  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Tips and Information] Privacy at Paano Manatiling Anonymous Online - Krislaw on: November 16, 2019, 11:30:16 PM
Just to let you know, there are also fake or trojanized Tor version out there, Fleecing the onion: Darknet shoppers swindled out of bitcoins via trojanized Tor Browser.

Smiley
75  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Tips and Information] Privacy and How to Stay Anonymous Online on: November 16, 2019, 10:57:24 PM
I guess that is more likely the case but at least it gives us an enhanced privacy as compared to using a normal browser without VPN.
No, it doesn't. It probably makes your privacy worse. Instead of all your traffic simply going through your ISP, you are instead routing all your traffic through Opera's server. They openly admit that they monitor it all, keep logs, pass that data to advertisers, and use it to target you with ads. You'd be better off not using it all.
Did some initial review and found out alarming things just like what you've stated, except for ads targeting since i have adblocking extensions installed.
Nevertheless, I think its time to ditch Opera for VPN browsing and would instead use again ssh tunneling for the mean time. Smiley

After all, I understand no one is 100 percent safe even with the best security setup on their systems.
Sure, but not being able to achieve 100% safety isn't a reason to expose yourself to unncessary risk. Would you drive with no seatbelt just because you can't be 100% sure you wouldn't die in a crash anyway?
Lol. I get your point. I think its time to find out better alternatives and I'm also considering subscribing to paid VPN service instead.

the reason why the value of MZG is dump because a lot of bounty hunter who sell the tokens , they got yesterday so that impact value of MZG getting down , but i think 2-3 month will be back and the market is also not broad and needs to be listed on several large exchanges so that there is a better change value .

No need to worry. As long as the team continues to be  committed on this project and together with its staking program, I think stakeholders will have vindication in holding their tokens in the long term, at least that is what we are all expecting. Hopefully! Smiley

With regards to VPN use, I would like to mention Opera Browser which offers a free and user friendly way to connect through VPN.
Opera's free VPN, like all VPNs, is a poor choice. It's not even really a VPN, just a proxy. They collect all your traffic and data, keep logs, and use it to serve you targeted ads: https://www.opera.com/privacy. Have a read of this: https://thatoneprivacysite.net/blog/operas-baked-in-vpn-is-not-a-good-solution-for-your-privacy/

There is no such thing as a truly free VPN. If it is free, then you are the product. As I said above, companies which provide free VPNs are making there money from selling your data, and this makes you less private, not more.
Thanks for sharing this info. I guess that is more likely the case but at least it gives us an enhanced privacy as compared to using a normal browser without VPN. I think its time for me to find other alternatives and reassess my security setup. Smiley

With regards to TOR use, Brave Browser has also a built in feature that would allow us to browse via TOR.
Why would you use a Tor plug-in in a browser with poor security which lies about being privacy focused, when you could just cut out the middle-man and use the Tor browser?
Its a matter of convenience for me on why I prefer a TOR enabled Brave browser as I see Brave has other features not found in a TOR browser. Afterall, I understand no one is 100 percent safe even with the best security setup on their systems. Smiley
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALERT: Phishing Brave browser [Please Read] on: November 15, 2019, 04:18:31 PM
Guys, please be aware that this phishing campaign seems very persistent that they would employ different addresses for sending email and different tricks like rephrasing the message or alter it to look it different from previous emails sent but the truth is they all lead to one phishing site.

For additional information and illustration about this phishing scheme kindly check this related thread: [Warning] Fake Brave Bounty Program Giving 1,500 BAT Tokens to each participant!

With regards to VPN use, I would like to mention Opera Browser which offers a free and user friendly way to connect through VPN. But if we want to use varied VPN servers, then Avast Secure Line VPN would do the trick but it is on a paid subscription.

With regards to TOR use, Brave Browser has also a built in feature that would allow us to browse via TOR. Smiley

now is November 14th and i think everyone already received their token because you can see the price of this token on coin bene
you will see that many of bounty hunter just dump their tokens and right now the price down to -85% from 0.0058 usdt to 0.0008 usdt

Sadly, not every bounty hunter had withdrawn and sold his tokens, some are still awaiting tokens in their ERC20 wallets. That will continue to drop price and 0.0008 usdt is not the bottom...

Lol. I'll take my chances with the project and will enroll on their staking program which could be the ideal thing to do. I was glad that they've extended their registration end date up to November 20 which could give more time to prepare for those who are interested to join.
