Bitmixer.io is gone... I advice www.mixercrypto.com . Actually, is the best solution to clean btc. Be careful with this website! They look exactly like [banned mixer] Only use trusted mixers. I have good experiences with chipmixer. You can see it at the signature of preposter. They have a quick support and are responsible on their site and also directly hwre in the forum. I think, it is the best mixer on the market.

Today I deposit BTC to tradesatoshi. Now suddenly my balance is gone!! yes I have 2fa , and no I didnt got hacked. There are no withdraws or trades done. The btc shows on deposit history but thats it. No balance, no withdraw, no trades.
This Tradesatoshi is known here in the forum you could have just ask first in the beginning then you could've avoided that scam site here is the link where there are many complaints about this and similar to your problem https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2202795.0There is a hope, that you will get back your money. They have also site issues and funds seem to show later: Okay, since 5 day's of waiting for 0.008BTC i have received my payment and i lift my accusation. Apperently they have some website issues that they need to solve, because you can't wait 5 day's for an withdraw on BTC, after all we are using cryptocurrency so we can make almost Instant payments... that is the all point of it. I'm lifting my accusation but i'm still leaving a bad experience from their Buisness. Be aware from slow withdraws and i personaly make a suggestion to not use it at all, since they don't have a good support as well.
Regards.
Make screenshots and send them a support ticket. Meanwhile try also another browser.

No exchanger is safe to "store" cryptos as any third party service. You should keep your funds in your wallet, where you own private keys, if you actually don't trade. Even some exchangers don't allow in their TOS, to store funds without trading.

Thought as much, I got my home router configured as a half firewall and my PCs firewall configured configured with default deny all.. What are the odds of this having downloaded something nasty to my pc ? I am normally very vigilant for phishing sites so this is actually my first time ever clicking on one. Kind feeling uneasy now
No, I don't think, that you must be worried now, if you don't have a warning. I went to the site (of course without login) and have no warnings by my security programs. But I would recommend to delete browser data (cookies, cache etc) and run virus scan.

If I would be in your situation (and I was already), I would do both, if possible: Hodl and sell. I would keep a part of the ICO coin, as long as the project seems promisable and sell a major part to have little funds for new project, trade or other investment. Crypterium could be a promising project with its planned worlwide crypto bank. The problem on this coin is, that the price was quite high from beginning on.

Edit: As you removed your original OP and know now, how to handle merits correctly, I only have the suggestion for you, also edit the title of your thread. Then lock the thread, as already advised here. 2.Edit: Fine.

That is a very interesting idea and helpful thread. Many thanks therfore. Are the little typing errors in title and OP and missing punctuation marks in OP here already part of the english lessons?
Fat fingers Thanks for pointing that out. I confess that I have what some consider to be a creative approach to punctuation. ( and a sticky keyboard). That is also my problem on mobile device. And strange autocorrection and still learning english. But I really appreciate your helpful threads.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3081595I thought that rather than constantly criticising members who need to imrove their english skills, we might provide a thread to give a bit of advice to those who genuinely want to improve their posting. I posted it on the beginners board, if that is the wrong place, then please could a mod move it to a more suitable board. I would also like some help in theis project, and any of you guys who have english as a first language are welcome to pitch in. That is a very interesting idea and helpful thread. Many thanks therefore. Are the little typing errors in title and OP and missing punctuation marks in OP here already part of the english lessons? Anyway, I am always glad and thankful for the opportunity to improve my english.

Depending on your residence, you could try out BitPanda. It is an Austrian company and my experiences on selling cryptos there ate very good. Exchange rates are fair and transparent. Exchanges work fast. I got my money on the next working day. You can also buy there cryptocurrencies.
There are many exchanges available in online but you are using the one which has the exchange+wallet so as of now Coinbase good to have as a web wallet but no private key has been to their users so risk to have fund in large volume. I suggest to go with Livecoin, bitrex, bitfinex and etherdelta. There are many exchanges like these available will not fit for hold buddy. OP's question was targeted to fiat/cryptocurrency exchanges. I prefer to exchange on certain services and use some of your suggested exchangers (also ploniex ) only for trading/exchanging cryptocurrency pairs.

I hold both, but more doge than bytecoin. I often use Doge to transfer my funds cheap from exchanger to exchanger. The expected weakness of dogecoin because of its inflationary character is in my eyes it advantage to other coins, because transfers will be always stable and fast. Bytecoin provides high privacy and has much potential. But it needs often upgrades and is disabled on many exchangers many times, because of wallet maintance. My favor are doges, because they are decentral and have high acceptance.

I'm new to cryptocurrency. I bought PACcoins at the Yobit Exchange, but PACcoins came in 1000 times less on the wallet of Exchange. Support explained to me that is swap for 1000:1. As for the difference in the course, I lose 13 000 dollars. On other exchanges I have not met a swap. I demanded to return PAC to me or put on account 13000 dollars . But I haven't received the answer yet.Yobit Exchange did not warn me about swap. Help me understand would I can get my money back and what is the swap in this case
The swap was caused by the new developers of PAC coin to get more acceptance by exchangers. Yobit had a notification on twitter account and on their site. But the swap nevertheless wasn't profitable. How could you loose 13000$? Did you buy paccoins with BTC?

Yobit has quite many markets f.e. BTC-, Doge-, Dollar- and ETH-market. I think, that there are differences between the prices of some coins between those markets. So I look for a tool, that calculates and converts the prices of coins on the different markets quickly. Edit: I found it already, although some markets are missing: Blockfolio.
