61  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Darkness Is Gradually Disappearing and Dawn Is Coming on: May 30, 2018, 02:03:27 PM
The month of June is coming and this month is one of the month that most of the bitcoin analyst thought to be the month on which bitcoin could be recovering and will start a bullish movement. But even if there will be bullish motion we can see that bitcoin is really recovering at this point of time and we will be expecting it to increase more in value.
62  Other / Off-topic / Re: When the crypt-currency becomes a disease on: May 30, 2018, 01:30:09 PM
Would the dependency on crypto-currencies become a real disease? This is what the Castle Craig Hospital in Scotland thinks. Indeed, several patients would be dependent on the trading of virtual currencies . Doctors compare this addiction to gambling dependency. They therefore use the same methods to treat them, thus helping them to take a step back from their behaviour that is not normal.

Too much of something is a poison, this saying is applicable to all kinds of activity. Humans should have a balanced lifestyle and should not engaged only in one routinary activity. This is not just for crypto addicts but to all business minded people who left their family behind and whose life has no longer room for sprititual and human freedom. Let us remember that we are important than what we are earning. Cryptocurrency is good but let us not be too much in what we do.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3000 Bitcoins ATM worldwide !!!! on: May 30, 2018, 12:39:13 PM
Bitcoins distributors are increasing. Indeed, the symbolic bar of the 3 000 distributors in the world has just been crossed, and there are about six new installations each day. So the situation is changing very quickly.

This is a sign that bitcoin is becoming more famous and famous amidst the negative publicity against it. Bitcoin ATM will allow people to have an easy access to bitcoin, they can easily sell and buy bitcoins whenever they want since there are bitcoin atms anywhere. For me these machines can be a life saver sometimes.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Founder of Wikipedia Jimmy Wales on the main stage of Blockshow on: May 29, 2018, 01:00:36 PM
Jimmy Wales called Crypto a bubble which will pop sooner or later:
“...Right now, we are in a bubble, the cryptoworld is absolutely, definitely in a bubble. I don’t think there’s many people who would deny that.”
Check Cointelegraph article for details.

Look like Mr. Wales seriously plans to become a "whale" and buy some coins on the dips... Roll Eyes

There are two possibilities that Jimmy Wales is planning its either to destroy bitcoin since he is really serious when he talks about it and the second possibility is your idea that he wants bitcoin to go down more so he can buy the dip. If we look at the chart there is another spike in a good volume that uplifts bitcoin from 8100$ to 8400$ in an instant possibly that was Jimmy Wales.
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: will really the bitcoin and all alts go like last december..? on: May 29, 2018, 12:55:24 PM
will really the bitcoin and all alts go like last December..? as we can see 10X down every coin when compared to december-2017 price..

Two leading bitcoin analyst have said that probably bitcoin could start its bullish move this June or by October.  But mostly of the analyst have agreed that by December this year we are going to meet again with 20k$ or more. Some even said that it will go up more than 20k$ and as far as 50k$ by the end of the year.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin still a buy despite recent losses on: May 29, 2018, 12:28:06 PM
Bitcoin is still a buy since if you look at the adoption of bitcoin by big companies this year then you can tell that this year bitcoin is starting to be mainstreamed. I am confused why its value is decreasing but so far as acceptance bitcoin market is already expanding. Though experts said that bitcoin could eventually recover by June or October this year, and this promise gives hope to bitcoin holders.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most crypto-friendly and unfriendly countries on: May 29, 2018, 12:20:18 PM
According to the researches, the most crypto-friendly European countries are Switzerland, Gibraltar, Malta, United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Portugal, The Netherlands, Finland, Belarus, Estonia, Slovenia, Georgia. Speaking of all such countries in the world, we should add to this list Japan, Singapore, Mauritius, Australia. The most unfriendly for cryptocurrencies are China, Mexico, Algeria, Morocco, Bolivia. The lists can be continued.

The ratings are generated with the following criteria:
Regulation of lСОs:
Regulation of сгурtоcurrencies
Taxation regime, capital gain

How do you think these inequality and stratification will affect the further development and relations between countries? Can you influence the policy of your state regarding the crypto currency, and if so, how would you change it?

It is good to see that there already several countries that are friendly and accepts bitcoin. But even though there were many who uses and accepts bitcoin it is a big question why bitcoins value keeps on falling down. Anyway I want to add to the list of the bitcoin friendly countries the Philippines, another country in Asia where bitcoin is also blooming.

69  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do We Need To Change Bitcoin Logo ₿? on: May 29, 2018, 11:57:40 AM
Bitcoin can change our future, our way of consuming, voting, sharing, working...
But its logo is attached to symbols of the past. BTC
Why the ₿ should look like the $,€ or ¥, while Bitcoin wants to change our economic model ?

Maybe to change the system, Bitcoin have to change its Logo ?

There is no need to change the logo since the logo was designed by Nakamoto which means that bitcoin is a currency. Even if we change the logo bitcoin will not change and there will be no changes in the market value nor on its algorithms. Thus, for me it is only a waste of time to change the logo since what we must need to do is to focus on the most important areas of bitcoin such as its market value, transaction matters.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 11:50:12 AM
The bitcoin market is like a seesaw in motion. Aside from the value going up and down this seesaw principle is also applicable to the traders. People do not earn profit from nothing but there has to be someone who lost a profit before somebody earns a profit. Thus those people who bought bitcoin at 19k$ have a huge loss and some of them are still having emotional problems due to a big loss.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are joking about Bitcoin on: May 27, 2018, 01:08:14 PM
In recent times, some new ICO companies have been kidding about Bitcoin on Twitter, Facebook for their ICO promotion. I think this promotion way is very negative for Bitcoin. They showed that Bitcoin will be destroyed and their token will become number one. They have presented it in such a way that the price of Bitcoin will not rise anymore. I think this type of promotion is  very negative in the market.

This is just a kind of marketing strategy so that they can sell their coins. But if you really think deeper they will sell their coins so they can have your bitcoins. It is irony isnt it since they are discrediting bitcoin but on the back stage they are collecting it. If people are not wise enough they may just be a victim of those words.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened when btc frm Nakamoto's wallet moved to binance?? on: May 27, 2018, 12:34:14 PM
Imagine one day all the btc moved frm Satoshi Nakamoto's wallet to binance exchange Huh

By looking at your statement I can tell that you are create this topic out of your imagination but I will answer that question. If it becomes possible that Satoshi Nakamoto really did transfer his bitcoins to Binance then there are two possible things to happen. If he places a small amount of bitcoin at binance then there is no problem but if he places all his bitcoin and in a large volume then it could mean disaster and a major drop of bitcoin value.
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price manipulation ongoing? on: May 27, 2018, 12:25:42 PM
I read recently on Bloomberg that the Justice Department has opened a criminal probe into whether traders are manipulating the price of Bitcoin and other digital currencies, dramatically ratcheting up U.S. scrutiny of red-hot markets that critics say are rife with misconduct, according to four people familiar with the matter.

According to the report, investigators are specifically looking into practices like spoofing (filling the marketplace with fake orders that are later canceled to manipulate others to buy or sell a particular coin) and wash trading (trading with oneself in order to falsely imply more market demand than there actually is). There are forms of cheating that have long existed and been battled in more traditional financial markets, but cryptocurrency’s lack of serious regulation or monitoring may have given these old scams a new place to thrive.

What do you say about this guys?

Let's hope that these allegations of bitcoin price manipulation will contribute to the long-term health of the cryptocurrency market, which is really important.

There is a high possibility that the issue on the recent price manipulation is true since the market is going wild nowadays. The volatility is becoming more abnormal and compared to the previous years this one that we have this 2018 is very unpredictable and its occurence has become successive. This is no longer a joke but a possibility of market manipulation.
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price manipulation on: May 27, 2018, 07:25:49 AM
I read that they are investigating criminal price manipulations over Bitcoin. Manipulation of prices is really possible ? This happened before ?

Price manipulation and even manipulation was even possible in the exchanges. I remember before when bitcoin was still accepted in China the big Chinese exchanges were accused of manipulating prices as well as btc volume. This could not only be possible to China but to all other exchanges as well.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20k again? Why or why not? on: May 21, 2018, 01:43:12 PM
If you really trust bitcoin then do not hold bitcoin for a short time and hold it for a long time a few years maybe. Bitcoin will really hitback 20k$ this coming december and it will continue to go up until next year. Though it is not 100% guaranteed but there is a huge possibility that it will occur so let us keep holding and buy more bitcoins.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you know the Estimated Price of Bitcoin in 2019? You will be surprised. on: May 21, 2018, 01:21:48 PM
Analytical agency Fundstrat Global Advisors LLK published its Forecast.
Bitcoin could soar as high as $64,000 next year, investment research firm Fundstrat predicts
"We believe the current path of hash power growth supports a BTC price of about $36,000 by 2019 year end, with a $20,000-$64,000 range," Sam Doctor, head of data science research at Fundstrat, said in a report. Hash power refers to the processing power computers need to generate bitcoins.
That's roughly four times or more from bitcoin's price Thursday of near $9,300.
The economics of bitcoin mining also likely create a support level for the cryptocurrency, Doctor said.
Source for the prediction: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/10/bitcoin-could-soar-as-high-as-64000-next-year-fundstrat-predicts.html

As the difficulty for mining bitcoin increases, it will be consuming more power and will be using high end mining rigs. Thus the overall mining activity will be very costly and in this case the miners will have no choice but to hold their bitcoins until such time that they can sell it. This move will be causing a spike on bitcoins price but the moment the expected price reached a certain level and the miners will sell their coins another temporary crash will occur. But after that the prices will go up again.
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's wrong with Bitcoin now? on: May 21, 2018, 01:01:11 PM
This week, The New York Fed president says bitcoin 'doesn't pass the basic test' for a currency. So while I do think the price of bitcoin could climb slowly, I would expect it to be a very bumpy ride.

Expect blips, dips, mini-crashes, and shocking price rises along the way. All which will shock many people, and ensure you see many investors getting extremely emotional and become confused not knowing what to do next.

We also put into the scene the dumping of bitcoin by Mt Gox and the negative accusations by a business giant if we sum it up it means that the dump has occurred and followed by a short panic selling. You are correct my friend that the road ahead of bitcoin is bumpy since there are many obstacles and resistance before we can overcome and breach 10k$.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: May 21, 2018, 12:39:55 PM
This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

His Address    166BuLPWHUjqoqiYp5rGE3B5r5AmqgHpoL    Final Balance   103.20832384 BTC

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

If I do have the technology to do that then I will be the one to recover that wallet but since impossible to do it right now then I guess we will just place it on record so if we are bored we just need to watch it.  If I am that person then its really a painful thing. Losing 103 btc is just painful, I experienced losing a certain altcoin whose value is at 3 btc and I have a hard time sleeping at night how much more it it is 103 btc.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ethereum surpasses bitcoin on: May 21, 2018, 12:34:09 PM
It is true that Ethereum could rival bitcoin in the future since anything can happen in the cryptocurrency market. But before that will happen it will take decades before Ethereum can replace bitcoin or any other coin in the market. Also there is also a tendency that bitcoin will be staying at the top for how many decades and no coin will replace it.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bing planning to bring their own crypto?? on: May 21, 2018, 12:31:10 PM
Like Facebook, Bing has also banned all the ads of crypto currency. Are they planning to brings their own coin in the industry like Facebook did?

There is no connection between facebook and Bhing and there is no pattern to say that the act of one will also be done by the other one. Bhing has no plans of creating its own cryptocurrency and just like facebook and google bhing banned all crypto related ads and ICO's with the purpose of protecting its clients from many scamming investements and ICO's.
