601  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Alert - Ponzi Scheme offering 156% return just in 30 days - Definwallet on: September 05, 2020, 06:04:22 PM
Scammers offer to Deposit cryptocurrency to get a bonus of $10.
Basically they are trying to make everyone believe that like other crypto wallets they have similar bonus for their users. Even they are offering return packages in a different way which have already detected by "The Pharmacist"

Quote
The more deposit you add, the more your earning rate increases.
Most probably they have money printing machine and they will increase its printing speed based on deposits. Only scammers can bring this type of packages otherwise its just a dream for them who wants to make FDR on their local banks.

604  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Yearn Protocol Fake Team CEO on: September 04, 2020, 06:01:19 AM
Flag supported.

I think you forgot to put the flag link on main thread.

Instead of creating a separate thread, I'm just going to post this here so you can add it on your post, OP!

They have plagiarized and poorly paraphrased their whitepaper from Orionprotocol (https://www.orionprotocol.io/hubfs/whitepaper.pdf)
Fake team + Plagiarized whitepaper = Complete garbage. Huh,,,,If anyone have minimum knowledge about fake team and plagiarism detection then they will not gonna waste their time after this project.
605  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bittrex disabled my account on: September 01, 2020, 08:30:47 PM
Check their official thread and see how many complaints are in there especially the last pages; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=463202
I don't think he is gonna get any solution by adding another complain there. Bittrex authority have no headache about these accusations.
Just found another ANN of them and the thread poster Bittrex-Bill haven't been active after August 04, 2017.

Here is another ANN of Bittrex: [ANN] Bittrex.com (US-based, exchange) now open to the public
606  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Loses to invest in Bitcoin, back to Bitcointalk on: September 01, 2020, 08:18:55 PM
Someone said that this account could make money by promoting a project bounty. But the minimum rank is a member.
I don't who have suggested you to use bitcointalk for the purpose of earning only but there is lot more things which you can get from here. You are a newbie and you have limited knowledge about this forum. I will suggest you to learn this forum's rules before running after bounty campaigns. You have mentioned on your post that you made investment on bitcoin but most of the time failed to make profits. If you spend your time on bitcointalk by reading different posts to gather knowledge about bitcoin and its different field of investment then i think you will be able to make profits from your next investment.

So, what do you think ?

Isn't it better to learn before staring to earn.

608  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bittrex disabled my account on: September 01, 2020, 07:32:30 PM
I have read in this forum about this, also on other forums. In those stories I always find the beginning of the case but not the final solution.
You can take a look here, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5270691.

Someone has an experience of a disabled account and then re-enabled? How long did they take to complete the process?
If i am not wrong then you have submitted your documents for KYC verification on their exchange and they disabled your account. Right? I will suggest you to provide necessary information's like support chat history, email screenshots etc.
609  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] DEFI.TRADE - Fake reviews | stock photo on: September 01, 2020, 07:17:32 PM
Another DEFI related obvious scam project who are trying to make investors fool. You did a good job by detecting their fake team at an very early stage. You can fix the ANN link on your topic and make it clickable.

I have already posted a reply on their official ANN topic and provided this thread link to check their scam faces before running after them.

611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 01, 2020, 07:00:31 PM
Barcelona also needs to change their long term strategy,  have to focus more on young players in the future.
They need new people in the management, new president etc
Their management was quite good for last couple of years. Specially their selection board did their best to keep Lionel Messi's magic alive by gathering all best players on their midfield but if i am not wrong then relationship between Barcelona management and Messi start to melt after FC Bayern Munich vs Barcelona match. Although i don't think its the only reason.

They should forget about Messi
Its not gonna be easy to forget him and his contribution soon. Yeah its true that football is not a single man game but when team Barcelona is looking for someone to take Messi's place then its pretty much easy to predict that they will have to suffer in some of their matches.
612  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: After growing an account, what next? on: September 01, 2020, 06:32:33 PM
As much as I understand the forum, it's more about teaching, learning and getting rewards. It centers it's core on information sharing. The system/forum grooms you to be it's future or next generation. As the future of a thing, you are saddled with the responsibility of it's protection and continuity. Protection in the sense that, you aid to ensure a conducive cryptosphere by keeping scammers and menace in the system out and
Continuity in the sense that, you get to groom the next generation.
Before the implementation of merit system it was quite easy to achieve new ranks but now the complete scenario has been changed. No only they will be able to get the taste of achieving high ranks who are so passionate to get them to the next level and don't hesitate to spend their time for sharing and learning from this forum. Personally i wanna give thanks to you for creating this topic and you are not the one who is bearing this question on your mind.

Whenever you get new rank it means you are moving forward with more knowledge, responsibility and experience. Every single merit you are getting here is just for the acceptability of your provided information and contribution. So its not like that after achieving legendary rank you will have no responsibility. After joining this forum day by day you got introduced with new things and if i am not wrong then its a continuous process which will not over until our death. We are nothing but a learner here and learning new things on a regular basis. After achieving all the ranks you can use your gathered knowledge and experience on other crypto related fields like other successful members are doing.

In bitcointalk who are holding higher ranks have much stronger knowledge vault than me and i am just trying to reach their level and gathering more to enrich my own knowledge vault.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with crypto news (DEFI with Y)!! on: September 01, 2020, 05:43:13 PM
Currently, we are all concerned with an incredible escalation of (DEFI with Y) Angry the new cryptos of the future like (yearn.finance) several projects are currently in progress or in creation, But today I fear a huge scam that will happen because the prices suddenly explode so that doesn't even have an exchange or liquid just a pump going up and going down Sad
There is no way to deny that scammers are heavily using the word DEFI and through this they are planting their scam traps. Actually we can't do nothing but revealing DEFI related scams or increasing awareness among investors where most new investor run after this type of project after seeing the name only. Even they don't feel it necessary to spend little amount of time before investing their fund. Its nothing new that scammers will take the advantage of any rising circumstances but investors have to be careful from their end otherwise like past scammers will fill their pocket with easy money.

A huge FOMO are happening recently around crypto markets about the word DeFi. So any project related this name means a huge hype and people are blindly trusting them. Also these projects critically setup lower total supply so that they can beat bitcoin and all the investor follow them more than others.
With limited supply its easy to create hyip on the market but hard to keep the price stable for long time. Personally i am not interested to make their comparison with bitcoin where a limited holders will get benefited before the price crash.
614  Economy / Reputation / Re: What can I do to remove a neg tag? on: September 01, 2020, 05:11:51 PM
I have tried to reach him through bitcointalk pm and telegram but got no response at all. What can I do to get out of this tag? I know this is untrusted feedback but it doesn't look good to be honest.
If he isn't interested to discuss with you about the negative feedback then i will suggest you not to waste your time on this matter. Different people have different thinking and we can't change their decision by giving force from our end. Its better to let him consider about the feedback and maybe he can change his mind in the upcoming days. Yeah you are right that it doesn't look good to see negative trusts but we have no power to remove them either its valid or not.

"ChiNgadOr" was active yesterday and maybe he will make response here after seeing your thread.

616  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Yearn Protocol Fake Team CEO on: August 31, 2020, 05:46:44 PM
Idea of using this type of stolen images is nothing new in crypto world and if i am not wrong then most investors are enough aware about fake team and plagiarism. Anyway, thanks for spending your time after this fake project and I have already posted your thread link on their announcement.

"$crypto$" Have you checked their telegram channel? I just made a short visit there and saw that most of the replies made on be half of them and posting fake reviews about this project. Here is their telegram channel link: https://t.me/YearnProTocol

I wish our community users will keep distance from this type obvious scam project.

618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth About Bitcoin's Green New Deal. on: August 31, 2020, 05:00:57 PM
Bitcoin advocates have argued that mining could preserve surplus energy by turning it into an alternative store of value.

Projects around the world are looking to use surplus energy from hydropower, wind power and natural gas to mine Bitcoin.
Entire world is running after renewable energy and sooner or later miners will start to use renewable energy to run their rigs. I don't think anyone gonna believe that due to bitcoin mining and its electricity costs human civilization will face electricity (power) shortage or its a big obstacle for greener world. I am not seeing anything wrong here when your are getting money though running your mining farm and paying the electricity bill. If new sectors will not get the opportunity of using electricity then whats the purpose of building nuclear based power plants.

Governments are trying to save natural resources and there is no doubt that its necessary to find different sources for energy. If other industries follow the way of using renewable energy like hydro power, solar power, Wind power or anything else then bitcoin miners will definitely join the same group.

620  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] OmiseGO fake giveaway, they will steal your wallet's private key. on: August 31, 2020, 03:19:04 AM
"Scamvirus" you can notify OMG authority about this fake airdrop and i hope they will warn their community users about this site.

Basically this scammers have targeted new crypto users and specially OMG holders IMO. They are trying to get private keys through offering free tokens and no doubt that they have multiple websites like this one. Anyway, i will suggest our forum newbies to keep distance from this kinda trap and please don't run after fake airdrops without proper justification.
