Glad y'all are seeing the humour in this. I'm trying to It takes a bloody long time for the explorer to index everything in the database, and if you try to pull data right now, you'll get random gibberish. As soon as it's fully synched, it should be right on Coinmarketcap. I'm not a patient man, this is making me a little crazy But it's getting there. Managing explorers is a tough job. Bitnodes is getting rid of hosting explorers, because it gave them such a headache. Of the two backup block explorers in the main thread only one is working. Perhaps it is good to add http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?blockexplorer=GMC Multifaucet.tk always seems to be working and also gives some extra info. Adds are a bit irritating, but at least the info is there.

Coinmarketcap has gone mental. It's showing 80mil coins where there are 52mil.
I guess something to do with explorer going awry?
odd came to comment on this oddity too! Coin count is also rapidly growing to over 87 million as you can see from this API call http://gmc.cryptocloudhosting.org:3001/ext/getmoneysupplySoon we will surpass bitcoin in market cap!

It's possible. The explorer has been fixed, but is still synching. I'm hoping it will be done in a few hours. Coinmarketcap gets the amount from http://gmc.cryptocloudhosting.org:3001/ you can see that when you click the total amount of coins. Currently on that site the coin amount is still at zero, so I suppose it will automatically update if it is not 0 anymore (assuming they don't accept that result).

Have you tried deleting the chain and resyncing from the beginning? rough price estimate for in 6-12 months? Between 1 DOGE sat and 100.000.000 bitcoin sat

Hey ladies and gentlemen, Had a good meeting with Robert last week, where we discussed plans and also worked on the future budget. One main thing we noticed is that we need more people to pull this wagon to ensure we have sufficient fallback support in case important members need somebody to take care of their tasks in the meantime. In short: So, if you believe in this project, please step forward, join our slack and think of ways you might be able to help out. We're in short supply of people to help develop important tools, take care of distribution and help out on the communication through our social media channels. NOW IS THE TIME

I spend so much time on this thread, people sometimes think I’m one of the developers. I’m not, I’m just a massive fan of this particular crypto, it’s the least shady crypto I have ever encountered. I often try to help people because I can, I do communicate with other core members of the community including Jared and other developers, so I’m sometimes in a position to be able to answer some of the questions people ask. I contribute to some community projects, it’s all completely voluntary and at my own expense, I don’t need to do any of it but I choose to. I mine DigiByte because its an important necessary feature. I keep a core wallet online practically 24/7, it’s called a full node and supports the network. My bags are not so big, that I couldn’t completely walk away from it at a moment’s notice, they are just large enough to be substantial if this project gets anywhere near its potential and it is nowhere near but if on the other hand it did completely go south, I wouldn’t feel like I had to kill myself. There is a handful of others like me and we all want the very best for this project but none of these people are actually doing it just for the money as it is certainly not guaranteed. I live in the UK, many people here have already forgotten what a community is and trying to build something better than that on BCT is an arduous and mainly thankless task. I think the banks screwed us and will continue to keep screwing us and this is one way of actively challenging that situation. I’d much prefer to sit back and read the interesting stuff you lot posted instead! You, sir, I like you Funny that you call it the "least shady coin". Perhaps they should use that as their slogan! Personally I have been following DGB for a while now and it is one of my top 5 coins. The main two reasons are the innovation of the development team and the community that has people like you on it. If you look at the bitcointalk forum levels of the people in this thread, you can see it is mostly people that have been in crypto for a long while. One thing that bothers me is the people constantly asking for a prediction of a value for this coin. As many long-term holders know, the short term will be between 20 and 500 sat. The long-term value depends fully on the way mainstream are adopting crypto and how bitcoin will fare. To new users, I can only recommend, try selling some when people are pumping the coin and buy them back at a low price. Never sell all your DGB, because you never know where it will level out.

Hi Salim! Robert is working on the payouts, indeed . I think we have an API that gives CMC the current coin amount. I'll speak to Robert this afternoon and will ask him.

What's going on with the order book on polo. Who is manipulating the price.
As a long time holder (small fish in a big pond though) this is very annoying seeing whales have fun with the price. This coin deserves more than that. It's crypto I know but damn.
That is the bane of small marketcap. No serious investor wants to sell and serious investors can't buy cheap, so it moves until percentages are hit on either side that trigger a release. Trading = agreeing on a price neither side is satisfied with.If there are some folks out there who happen to have Over 9000! spare BTC for ETH play, surely they can carve off some spare change from their +700% $100mil pump for a $500k coin that is not even on sale. That whole Ether pump was crazy. I sold all my ether when I made x3 profit at 67k, but was way too early. Still I had a lot of Expanse, so managed to get a nice return there. GMC will probably be pumped here and there, but I expect it to rise to about $0.10 in about a year. The pumps are actually an opportunity to sell a bit at the top and buy back double when it falls again. Where are you getting the .10 prediction from? Are you expecting BTC to go up a lot making all alts a lot more valuable or are you expecting GMC to get there by itself in a year? Its certainly possible imo, as GMC was already close to $.05 once before. Simply from thinking that it should be a top #20 coin at least, needing a market cap of 5mln. I think it is a realistic prediction. This does not mean it will not have peaks far higher than this, but on average I think 5mln is possible.

AnnouncementHey everybody, As you might know, Robert, the founder of FLDC, has been offline a lot lately and was also unable to make the distributions. I just had a videochat via Skype with him and he explained to me he has been experiencing some serious issues in the family and needed some time. Robert is doing better now and I will work with him next week to get things on track and work toward a monthly meeting on Sunday February 21 where we will also discuss the budget we are planning for development on the coin. Soon, likely tomorrow, Robert will continue distributions. In short, we're back!

Following because the dev chrys seems to be a stand up guy.
Same here! Usually this strategy pays off. I had the same thing with Gamecredits and Expanse and that has paid off extremely well. Also just placed som buy orders for HYPER, btw, since that is crazy underprized Glad it's been working out for you Thanks for the support. I always thought Foldingcoin was an awesome idea, maybe we could collaborate somehow. A lot of gamers have spare processing power maybe they can use for Foldingcoin? Successful cryptos is all about cooperation I'll send you a PM to discuss this.

I never really understand this attitude, because it seems like such a waste of time. I have made a lot of unsuccessful and only some successful bets on coins. The few that were successful were usually the ones that started small like this one. The profits I made on those good bets far outweighed the bad ones. Successful investors don't get scared to easily and think long-term. The chance of it becoming a success usually relies on the developers sticking to their plan and not getting distracted or unnerved. Stuff like your comments should not let the devs think they lost support. I think still quite a lot more serious people (look at their forum levels) are waiting to see where this coin ends up. @devs: I'm patient It's easier to be negative online than it is to be negative offline. Small people IRL need to feel large online. The silver lining about trolls is, they bump the thread more than anyone else in the hopes to harm something but thats simply not how life works. As a matter of fact, every attack to a group from an outside "threat" only serves to make the community stronger, more unified. Trolls are ironically good FEED THE TROLLS! Defaced, it seems we were right!

Hey guys and galls, As I already mentioned, Robert is going through some rough times. I will talk with him on Saturday to discuss how to handle things in the meantime. I will give you guys an update later on. In the meantime, keep folding

|
|
Nice! And you even made the list!

So fantoken will no longer be distrubuted on the merged folding platform? Hi Will H, I'm sorry for your experience with the merged folding. Perhaps best to plan a chat with you, me and Robert soon. I'll find out what is going on.
