Both centralized money and decentralized money have its own advantages and disadvantages. Centralized money is being controlled by some few which leads to overproduction or overprinting of fiat money. Decentralized money is good but the problem is that whenever there are problems that needs to be solved their is a need for a consensus that sometimes caused conflicts between the community and in the end will result to a split.

Well I have made a post here about bitcoin reaching as high as 50k $ by December and that was announced by ADAC head. And right now a new important figure have said that bitcoin will hit 50k$ by December. This important figures will not say such things without clear basis and also since they themselves hold a huge amount of bitcoin and is still buying right now. This is just my opinion but I guess it is possible.

I had a blood clot on my brain in late January and stroked out.By the time I got out of hospitals rehab a month later I’m seeing 85% losses, with no end in site. I can’t ride this rollercoaster any lower. I’ll be happy to escape with some profits now rather than ending up underwater. Good luck to all.
I can relate to your situation. I have been holding my bitcoins since last year and right now its value have come down and so since I will not risk the needs of my family that is relying on bitcoin I decided to sell half of my bitcoin holdings just to be sure. And I keep the other half so the moment that bitcoin will go up again at least I can also get some profit. |

Vitalik Buterin (V-God), the founder of Ethereum, said on Twitter that “Why is Bitcoin better than gold?” — I actually agree with this, Bitcoin is better than gold, both personally and socially. I used to talk about Bitcoin's damage to the environment. But gold is even worse.
Vitalik Buterin really loved bitcoin because of economic reasons. If bitcoins value will go up then Ethereums value will also go up. At this point of time the value of bitcoin dictates the value of all cryptocurrencies listed on the coinmarket.cap. Thus if bitcoin will go up in value it will be like heaven to all crypto enthusiasts since it will mean a green market and profit to both developers and investors. |

I personaly got into POKER in 2010 just after the bubble busted. Poker games were tougher and rarer from that point (regulations) And now i come to bitcoin. in junary. Maybe i have the feeling or something particular in me that drive me to come when bubbles bursts. So i think, chance are bitcoin's price will fall from here. Basicaly if i bet, it will probably fall from here   Well if you are reading right now sir, bitcoin has started to recover and its already at 7300$ after its price drop at 6200$. This time around the issues on bitcoin have been overcome by the bitcoin holders. This is a signal of bitcoins rise so it is the time to buy more bitcoin before it will goes back to 10k$. Our Government here will always question people who become rich instantly, sometimes they will relate all the wealth to drugs and smuggling so they can send us to jail for a questionable wealth and not paying taxes. they will do background checking, even if they dont find any illegal activities we did they still think that we do illegal. What if I become rich because of BTC do you think they will believe if I say that its bitcoin that making me rich? How will I explained to them?
You are questioned by the government since possibly you did not declare your assets or source of income. Before we encash our bitcoins we should declare to the banks where are our funds coming from since if you dont declare it you will be questioned by the Anti Money Laundering Commission. But if you do not want to be in trouble if you have enough money then establish a business so that they will not question you anymore. |

What with google, twitter, faceburg and whoever banning all the pump and dump coins it does appear to be having quite an impact on btc and other top crypto. I never got into all those ico as I looked at so many as scams and being the exact opposite of what btc was meant to be but this has changed things quite a bit. I'm not banging the drum saying btc is dead like I'm seeing all over the Internet lately (people have a lot of hate) but due to me not completely understanding the ico market entanglement with btc I misjudged
It is the other way around. Those bad news brought about by google, twitter, facebook and soon reddit have caused a major impact on bitcoin and thus from 9k$ bitcoin fell down to 6200$. The good news on the other hand is that bitcoin have already started recovering since the major whales have not sell their bitcoins. Thus we can expect more increase in bitcoin starting today. |

I'm a noob in crypto I need some suggestions about crypto how can I invest in crypto currencies which coin will be suitable for a newbie to check market trends.
If you are a newbie then don invest in just any other coins and select bitcoins. Bitcoins is at its lowest today and later this year it will go up. But remember that you must not sell all your resources and make a huge loan just to buy bitcoin, instead just buy what you can afford to lose. Also do not invest on altcoins if you are not sure since altcoins have a higher risk than bitcoin. |

From what I heard switzerland's government is accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment to pay taxes and other bills. This possibly is one reason aside from the cold climate. If I were to choose then it will still be bitcoin. Bitcoin is the only one that have helped me paid all of my debts and save me from financial crisis. It also provided me with additional income. Bitcoin will still be the number 1 for me and I am waiting for another dip so I can buy more bitcoins with the money I have left on my wallet allocated for this type of activity. |

I have already commented on this post before and I remembered that I commented on this topic (If I am not mistaken). On that post I wrote my dreams of getting rich and having to buy my own house and everything. Right now with bitcoin I just bought a new PC, laptop and a motorcycle. My dream of getting rich was postponed due to crash of bitcoins value. Hope bitcoin could go up soon so I can fulfill my dream.

Honestly, I've had enough of these *insert big name here* trying to foresee the price of Bitcoin. There isn't a prediction market going on around here so they can stop giving out predictions like this already. With that said, everything is possible with the price of Bitcoin. Right now we're close to 7k and could reach as high as 25k just on a bullish April run while more impositions through the G20 summit could see the prices plummet once again. It may sound bad to you sir but it is one way of uplifting the spirit of those who are into the bitcoin industry. In the face of those negative news on bitcoin that is flooding the market it is of need to also post the positive comments coming from big people. This may uplift the spirit of bitcoin holders who suffered huge losses due to the price drop. Those words of Thomas may be bullish but it can give hope to some bitcoin holders. |

Though at this point of time that bitcoin is at dip there is only a shallow hope that we can have that value but if the increase started to appear then it will be unstoppable and we will be seing another history in the price of bitcoin. There are also some predictions being made by and ADAC head personnel that bitcoin could reach up to 50k dollars this year or should I say at the end of the year. But everything seems blurry though it is possible I wonder it we could really hit that value this year. But I am hoping that we can reach it.

maybe the current price of Bitcoin is low, but I am sure, bitcoin value will increase again. so my suggestion hold your bitcoin for now. do not sell your bitcoin and then you exchange it with eth. because I believe the future of bitcoin is better than eth
You got a point sir. Bitcoin will still be the number 1 cryptocurrency the world has ever has. Also other cryptocurrencies will just fade away in the shadow as the time goes by. If we look at the chart bitcoin have started to rise up again. It fell into the dip at 6200$ and now it has climb up again to 7k$. Despite the news of closing of exchanges on Japan and India the community are having smiles on their face when they see bitcoin climbing up again. Possibly this is due to the good news being circulated around about the new development in bitcoin. All spirits are alive maybe this is the sign we are looking for.

This question was made last year and I guess the creator of this topic have already have its questions answered. But anyway I will explain what will happen to bitcoin after the bitcoin fork with bitcoin gold. Here is what have happened: let us say you have 1 btc then the fork happened then that means that you will have 1 btc (bitcoin core) and 1 btg (bitcoin gold). Its like duplication, cloning or splitting with the same equivalent amount but with different value.
