Man, these alts are making me feel like 2017 again. But I really don't like BSV pumping like this. We had another new ATH of the year.
How can there be an "ATH of the year"? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)

While ZEC gets commended by vitalik for nothing. You know, it aint an accident that DOGE is worth more. Its a reality that is gonna persist for decades. People buy DOGE because of its memeness. And why would anybody buy ZEC?
I'd not be so sure about that mate; I believe it's only a matter of a few days now before ZEC goes back above DOGE. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FapL2JOJ.png&t=663&c=QsBlzdxDpXfXuA) Here we go!

I hope IOHK releases some nice updates for the Shelley testnet; there seem to be a hell lot of issues right now. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) I don't think that it's related to Cardano; Charles is the owner of IOHK and has complete freedom to work on/for the projects beyond Cardano, and these PoW/IoT/Privacy projects sound like they don't belong to the Cardano ecosystem.

Hmmm... How about a tweet to @NickSzabo4? Or Hal?
I think Nick Szabo is a top Satoshi contender, along with Adam Back. So if you contact either one of them, maybe they can "pass on the message." For Hal, he won't get the message until his cyborg body is operational and they wake up his head, sometime around the year 2250. Finney’s body is now at a temperature of -196 degrees Celsius inside a three-meter Dewar filled with liquid nitrogen, and it will be stored in complete anabiosis at Alcor cryonics company.
“Here he will stay until technologies appear that will solve problems like ALS and the aging process,” says Max More, the director of Alcor and Finney’s old friend. “Then we can get Hal back alive and healthy.”
![Lips sealed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/lipsrsealed.gif) I remember reading that article before; it always sounds creepy TBH. About Nick, well, he never sounds like Satoshi when he tweets/retweets/likes, and he does this all quite often. Moreover, he's a big fan of Trump, literally retweeting/liking all of his tweets. I don't think that he's Satoshi.

^^ It happens if original post is deleted by mods.
Edit : okay it seems only your reply got deleted along with original post.
Yeah, only my post got deleted along with the OP. I'm angry at the moderators, either delete all the posts that quoted that image or restore mine! I'm so mad that I'm going to PM this whole matter to the creator of this forum... Mr. SATOSHI! ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif)

Back in the day I actually did something similar and it worked. Anyone here remember Cryptodouble? You sent them X amount of bitcoin or shitcoin, and 3 days later they sent you back double your “investment” There was even a countdown next to your listed payment showing you the hours to your 2x payout. Obvious Ponzi scam but that didn’t stop folks from piling in because for 1st 2 weeks or so it was confirmed to be actually paying. After a test with some dust, I gambled 100,000 doge and some litecoin, dark coin spare change. 3 days later right on cue, I get sent back double my investment. Of course, about 3 days later they exit scammed. Big surprise there. Those were the days.... lol. True story.
I remember investing in similar platforms back in 2010/11; they used to accept LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney mostly (no crypto of course) and used to double your USD. Mostly, they used to call themselves "Matrix" (or maybe "Forced Matrix"?) and used to work on a simple algorithm for doubling: Suppose: User A pays $10 to the platform User B pays $10 to the platform User C pays $10 to the platform User B's and User C's $10 goes to User A, totaling $20 User B is now the next one to be paid once a new User D invests This used to work well sometimes, especially when the platforms remained new and didn't have a big queue to pay. However, there's still a nice difference in such a platform and the doublers present in the replies of tweets.

I wonder if there's any BTC holder dumb enough in the world to fall for this. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) The world is full of idiots, even this very own forum proving that every single day.... More terrifying is the fact that even sometimes smart but maybe just a bit naive people even fall for the most obvious scams.... The thought of making a $ for easy is to overwhelming Money can make someone into an idiot who is being smart since birth, little common sense can save people from a lot of such obvious scams. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) BTW, now its so hard to recognize mic until I read this thread : Overview of recent username changes in BitcointalkOMG... was I really talking to Mic? I still find it hard to believe that people still fall for those "send x and receive 2x/3x" Twitter giveaway scams. Those people have really weak thinking capabilities, weaker than monkeys TBH.

The number of stakepools seems to be touching ~625 now, which is quite impressive. However, according to what I can judge by Cardano's Stakepool Telegram, people seem to be having a lot of trouble with the network after this much traffic congestion: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FdNCdIYz.png&t=663&c=M89RSFktKBUK9A) Let's see if IOHK can get this fixed soon. Some pools runs simultaneously on a few servers which are not synchronized and that causes the trouble in the network. Blacklisted pools: https://adapools.org/blI knew there existed a list of blacklisted pools somewhere but didn't know that URL - so thanks for that! It's interesting. I guess IOHK must have already removed these pools' entry of Daedalus, right? I've been trying to create a Stakepool for the last few days, and close to success. However, there's going to be one unique thing with my pool: it'll be hosted right on my android phone! ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

That's well known. Been around since well before he was 'famous'. Zooko literally used to shill referral links in here before he got rich with ZCash's Founders Reward: I withdrew a non-negligible amount of USD from TradeHill by simply filling out a form on the site and clicking submit. The resulting page said that they would put a check in the mail that same business day. Apparently they did! Because that was only last Thursday, if I recall correctly, and the check arrived today. So this is just a report for anyone who wants to know that there was no delay, confusion or extra steps. Here's my TradeHill referral code. So far I've made about $0.50 in referral bonuses, so it isn't so much that I hope to make a lot of money by passing out my referral code, but it does give you 10% off of their normal fees if you sign up with it: https://tradehill.com/?r=TH-R11149Regards, Zooko
