601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Uncomfirmed Transaction on: November 18, 2023, 11:22:42 AM
Hi
I have similar issue with unconfirmed transaction. About 15 days ago, I sent a value to a wallet but after some days it was still unconfirmed. Until now, I increased the fee twice but after this 15 days it shows me still unconfirmed.
2 days ago I sent a small value to the same wallet but with a higher fee and until now, it still shows me unconfirmed.
I´m using Electrum  and atm the position in mempool is 26.92 MB from tip.

Never had issues before, but now it takes too long to be sent.

I appreciate any help.
Thanks

And what is the difference between: ETA, Static and Mempool and which one I should use?
Can you tell us the amount you are trying to send? I just checked and the fees are around $15-20, if the balance is worth it, you could double spend with a fee of $18, other wise use ViaBtc https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/
Each hour they accelerate 100 free transactions, just read the page and follow instructions.😉
602  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: NFTs in the Bitcoin blockchain - Ordinal Theory on: November 18, 2023, 11:07:17 AM
Because the host (BTC blockchain) offers immutability, that's why.

Good luck finding another host like that...
Alright, of course you can't find such a fat host to milk it for so long, that's the whole point of being a parasite. Now that we are talking about immutability, tell me can we see the addresses owning ordinals on blockchain explorers, worldwide? I mean how can I show off my special sats to my friends if they wanted to verify my claim?
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eloncoin will be massive. on: November 18, 2023, 10:40:37 AM
And whether Elon is interested in a parody on himself or not remains to be seen
Snip...
I have corrected the copy file to reflect on PIVX like the mention of the previous works.
Well, well, well. If this isn't the sir lightlord the second of the primes. 🤣  the donator, are you also on DT? Anyways, I'm sure the richest man on earth will someday show interest to this parody of his name. If you share some of that premined coins we will say that he "might" show some interest "someday", you know after all if we too have a cut, it'd be in our interest to say that.

Good thing you corrected the copyrights, because I wanted to say what an irony to tag people for plagiarizing other projects but doing it yourself.😉

Let me share some shilling tricks :

"WOW, guys I was just on the phone with Elon, he said to thank mycoin fans and tell them; hell mars we are coming"!
604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block 817214 on: November 18, 2023, 08:20:37 AM
This empty block shows that even if we have large blocks miners could still include a block if found before they get the full data of the previous block, since they just need the block header and the hash of the previous block.

Well if miners care about a long lasting and strong network, they'd better start signaling for a change.
605  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to construct hardened ECDSA from ECDSA? on: November 18, 2023, 07:39:20 AM
So we can't use 2 random p and n to generate a curve, right? Because just now I used a different n without changing p and G, and when I used this new n as my private key I got an error.
Code:
my new n =
0xebaaedce6af48a03bbfd25e8cd0364141
Private key =
0xebaaedce6af48a03bbfd25e8cd0364141

And then secp256k1 n also returned an error, though by changing just 1 bit of G, there was no error.
I would like to know the relation between p and n, because it seems that G is irrelevant in the curve calculations. Also this new n is not prime, it's just an odd number. But I have used other odd numbers before and I could get an error when I changed my private key to an even number, but this n works for all other than itself and it's bigger brother.(secp256k1 n)

Note, I'm one of those dumb students that asks about something several times. So if I have asked this before just ignore.😅
606  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: NFTs in the Bitcoin blockchain - Ordinal Theory on: November 18, 2023, 04:14:25 AM
I have been wondering lately, generally I do a lot of wondering.
Why don't you ordinal spammers create your own blockchain and enjoy trillions of different types of data being added to your blockchain?
I don't think parasites could understand or even be capable of finding a food source of their own, that's why they attach themselves to a host, and if the host doesn't fight back, they will destroy the host and move to the next one.

Lets have it for core developers, for their outstanding protection of the host. 👏👏👏  (sarcasm).
607  Other / Meta / Re: Greek subforum here needs moderation on: November 18, 2023, 03:31:58 AM
One thing about moderation you should know, forum would  logically hire a new mod if the work load of global mods is too much to handle the local boards, and said local boards having a lot of unhandled reports.

Otherwise the best you can do is to keep reporting accurately and let global mods handle the reports, you could also explain in 1-2 lines as to why you are reporting such posts, that way mods would have something useful since they can't understand your native language to judge the accuracy of the reports.

If you all do this constantly and if global mods feel they can't handle all these reports, they would tell admin that there is a need for a new mod. Until then I doubt anything happens.

So if you are somewhat a trustworthy member, you'd need to spend hours in your local board to do that to prove you are up to it.😉
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: November 18, 2023, 03:03:20 AM
Hello friends, I found more interesting things.
As I said before, many triangles are connected in a chain.
After a change, the shapes behaved strangely.
I did one thing, but it was done automatically for all triangles, but on the contrary, the output I expected is outside the rules of geometry and mathematics! It's as if the numbers went into the void...
One digit was separated from the private key and appeared among other numbers.
I want to say that this reaction has nothing to do with what I did. I know graphics and shapes well.
This reaction is definitely private key guide 66.
One of the dear programmers would like to write a code in Python language:
Get a text file containing numbers
Check the numbers line by line for puzzle 66 and if the key is correct, output it in a text file.
It will definitely be a few hours of brute force...
Hey, the puzzle that was solved, I'm paying attention to the programmer's reward.
So you have been trolling us all this time? I thought you were working on public keys when you talked about shapes and whatnot, now you are talking about #66 which is an unknown number and there are no known possible mathematical relations between addresses, rmd160 hashes which are the only available data we have on the unexposed puzzles.

You can't even post a single example to show us what you are talking about,  this is disappointing, I really thought someone has finally cracked the code.😐
609  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov be in DT1? on: November 18, 2023, 02:47:47 AM
@Vod, are you trolling this trust abuser nazi? I have first hand experience, if he fails to continue an argument he will immediately resort to finding something on you just to tag you, be careful.

The same could be said for most of the trust abusers, since we are talking about people on DT1, and their problem is that they are not capable of discussing or win a discussion, hence they resort to the one thing that is in their advantage, the only thing that gives them any sort of power, DT tag.  Otherwise we can see so many legit people argue over many things and sometimes they fail to prove their points, if they all wanted to get back at the other person by either bullying, attacking etc, no one could stay alive. That's why it's better to isolate such abusers from the community to prevent spreading the virus.😉
610  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: November 18, 2023, 01:38:24 AM
The Bitcoin blockchain, the bedrock of the cryptocurrency revolution, has long been considered the pinnacle of stability and security. However, its functionality has been primarily limited to monetary transactions, leaving untapped potential in the realm of digital collectibles and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The emergence of the Ordinals protocol has opened new doors, enabling the inscription of NFTs directly onto the Bitcoin blockchain, ushering in a new era of innovation and utility.

Harnessing the Security and Reliability of Bitcoin

The Ordinals protocol leverages the inherent strengths of the Bitcoin blockchain, providing a robust and secure foundation for NFTs. Unlike NFTs minted on other blockchains, Ordinals inscriptions are permanently etched onto the Bitcoin blockchain, ensuring their immutability and resistance to censorship. This inherent trustlessness aligns perfectly with the ethos of Bitcoin, guaranteeing that ownership and provenance remain indisputable.

Enhancing Liquidity and Accessibility

By seamlessly integrating NFTs into the Bitcoin ecosystem, the Ordinals protocol introduces a vast new pool of potential users. Bitcoin, with its widespread adoption and established infrastructure, provides a ready-made marketplace for NFTs, eliminating the need for users to navigate unfamiliar platforms. This increased accessibility and liquidity are expected to fuel the growth of the NFT market, attracting a broader audience and fostering wider adoption.

Expanding Creative Expression and Digital Ownership

The Ordinals protocol empowers creators to express their artistry and showcase their unique digital assets on the most secure and trusted blockchain. This opens up a world of possibilities for digital art, collectibles, and other forms of creative expression. Moreover, Ordinals inscriptions provide a clear and verifiable record of ownership, empowering creators to retain control over their work and reap the rewards of their creativity.

Empowering Developers and Fostering Innovation

The Ordinals protocol has ignited a wave of innovation, attracting a growing community of developers eager to explore the potential of this new frontier. Developers are actively building tools, marketplaces, and applications that cater to the Ordinals ecosystem, further expanding the functionality and reach of NFTs on Bitcoin. This collaborative spirit is fostering a vibrant and diverse ecosystem, driving innovation and shaping the future of NFTs on Bitcoin.

Navigating Potential Challenges and Embracing the Future

While the Ordinals protocol offers immense benefits, it is important to acknowledge and address potential challenges. The increased data volume associated with Ordinals inscriptions could impact transaction fees and block space availability. However, the Bitcoin community is actively exploring solutions to optimize block space usage and maintain the network's efficiency.

The Ordinals protocol represents a significant step forward in the evolution of Bitcoin, expanding its functionality beyond purely monetary transactions and embracing the world of digital collectibles and NFTs. By leveraging the security, reliability, and accessibility of the Bitcoin blockchain, Ordinals inscriptions have the potential to revolutionize the NFT landscape and usher in a new era of creativity, ownership, and innovation. As the Ordinals ecosystem matures and developers continue to build upon this technology, the possibilities for the future of NFTs on Bitcoin are truly limitless.

Ordinals are good for the Bitcoin future because they can:

Increase the demand and value of satoshis, as each sat can become a unique and scarce asset.

Enhance the security and decentralization of the Bitcoin network, as more users will be incentivized to run full nodes and validate transactions.

Showcase the versatility and innovation of the Bitcoin protocol, as ordinals can enable new use cases and applications that were not possible before.

Attract more users and developers to the Bitcoin ecosystem, as ordinals can make Bitcoin more engaging and fun.

Ordinals are a new feature in the Bitcoin protocol that aims to make it more engaging and fun for users. They are not an attack on Bitcoin’s fungibility, but rather a way to celebrate its diversity and creativity. Ordinals are a testament to the power and potential of Bitcoin as a global platform for digital expression.

611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to bitcoin price if Solar superstorm 'wipe out the internet'? on: November 17, 2023, 11:08:52 PM
I wonder, since solar storms move as fast as light, how can we see them and alert earthlings in time? Because even if you are in space and near the sun, by the time you can detect the storm which would be through getting hit by it, then any signal you try to send back to earth would have the same speed as the storm itself, so your signal and the storm would arrive to earth at the same time. Or does the sun announces that it's going to release such storms before it does release them?
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Is bigger block capacity still a taboo? on: November 17, 2023, 10:55:05 PM
You are asking the wrong people here, IP format is related to telecommunication companies controlled by governments, also I see no backward compatibility issues if we were to have for example 6 or 8MB blocks, even if we had 8MB blocks, the spammers would keep spamming, that's why other than blocksize, we need to consider increasing the fees for non-monetary transactions somehow.
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Is bigger block capacity still a taboo? on: November 17, 2023, 10:22:45 PM
Anyone who is against increasing the block size is either a shill for miners or has another agenda which benefits them as it benefits mining pools. I excluded ignorant opposition.

Every online application has plans to scale when userbase increases, can you imagine what would have happened if bitcointalk never upgraded it's servers?  Or what would have happened to instagram if they had the same server capacity for more than 4 years?  I can imagine what would have happened, they'd be dead by now, why Bitcoin isn't dead yet? Because it still has support from the community, if I were a mining pool, I'd think about that before including spam into my block, loyalty has it's limit.
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: == Bitcoin challenge transaction: ~1000 BTC total bounty to solvers! ==UPDATED== on: November 17, 2023, 09:11:00 PM
unfortunately, there is a possibility of missing the desired value.

That said all no? The possibility of missing the target value with bigger keys is great.
many test was. real steps to find was different.
22-bit at this test is:
1011011110010000001111 777854
but anyway its better vs range(2**21, 2**22-1)
Lets say this is a private key, 3857991093436143 and you only know it starts with 3, that's all. Now that you have no other knowledge about the key other than what it starts with, can you give us a %100 working method to reduce the size of that key and still finding it successfully?

If you can do that, congratulations because you just partially broke elliptic curve.
615  Economy / Reputation / Re: People not reading page 1 comments discussion thread. on: November 17, 2023, 04:46:34 AM
Looks like you found a fan to help you in this fantastic journey, of course who could that be other than a weasel trust abuser. You make a perfect couple.

I just have a question though? What will happen after listing all the posts of people that reply without reading the first page?

Don't tell me, you and your nazi friend will give them neutral or even negative, right? Because who really cares if 2 nazis run around the forum and individually harass forum members with threats, trust feedbacks, am I right or am I right?

The way I see some of you weasel nazis operate, soon it will be you and your alts all alone left here with nothing to do but circle fingering each other.😅
616  Economy / Reputation / Re: People not reading page 1 comments compilation thread. on: November 16, 2023, 08:51:12 PM
We should ask in meta about the administration opinion to see whether they condone a DT member who is supposed to represent trustworthiness and respectfulness of this community to run around and interact with people in such an undignifying manner or not.

Now my honest opinion, who the F do you think you are to act as a behavioural police to tell them what they should or should not do?  Wait, for a second I felt I'm talking about myself. 🤣  anyways, it's all good OP, keep going with full strength.

Funny how some people talk about reaching a quota for sig campaigns, as if they never managed a campaign with certain post quotas, or some others talk like they are not in a sig campaign spamming to reach the said quota.  I'm not talking about any particular person other than OP and yahoo. At least yahoo shows some decency even though he loves to act like tough guys, but inside he is soft, on the other hand, OP needs to learn about dignity and how to respect people he meets for the first time, just imagine you see some strangers talking, and you go straight to tell one of them why the F won't you listen to the other guy who is been talking and then go running to find his employer to tell them: Lo0k He DoEsN'T LiStEn So YoU nEeD tO fIRe HiM f0r ThAt!!!
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Is bigger block capacity still a taboo? on: November 16, 2023, 05:56:50 PM
Stompix is the expert listen to him. Lol^8196.

Taboo is: not talking about miners scamming users, large pools I mean.
Taboo is: not talking about the inaction of developers.
Taboo is: staying silent and let potential long term userbase migrate to other networks.

I would say if someone comes up with a plan that doesn't involve lining up their own pockets, that has no ties to corporations, with a decent upgrade proposal that could keep everyone or the majority fairly happy and satisfied, that doesn't alter the true nature of Bitcoin, that doesn't betray Satoshi's vision the essence of true decentralized banking system where transfer of monetary values is the top priority, that doesn't want to comply with regulations and work for governments, that the code is very well written to make necessary upgrades easier than before.  PLEASE don't wake me up and let me join them. It was a good dream though.🥱
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Taproot Wizards raises $7.5M for their Ordinals Project on: November 16, 2023, 05:39:26 PM
So they had these memories of Bitcoin and thought this was the best way to celebrate or honour those memories?

Sait it before, I have no problems with people using Bitcoin for whatever they want, if the rules allow, but I guess I struggle to understand how they were inspired by Bitcoin's early experiments to result in this.

Guess that's why I'll always be a normie.
Back then people only could hack exchanges, and scam gullible and unsuspected users with lucrative garbage coins and ICOs, now indeed everything has changed, ICO scam, exchange theft is no longer profitable because community has become more vigilant, but NFT, ordinals are new with a lot of new opportunities, even miners now know how to scam, e.g, include mostly spam which costs near to nothing and bump the fees to get 5-10x total fees. Imagine a naked girl on a bed in the middle of an square, nobody would dare to touch her because law enforcements are nearby, right? Now what happens if the law enforcement officers lose control and jump on her first? Lol (rip).

But if her parents were competent and God fearing, they would never have allowed her to be used that way by teaching her how to cover her body etc.

LE officers = miners.
Pedestrians = could be any one in this community.
The naked girl = Bitcoin.
Her parents = developers.
😉
619  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Tool or method for finding public key of Bitcoin address on: November 16, 2023, 05:11:34 PM

I have designed my own version in Sagemath + Python for find public key when we only knows "hash160 ripemd".

this is another solution but is not fast. and even when you will find , you only find one of 2**96 possibilites
Well all I can see is just talking, if you have a tool efficient in finding collisions then share it so we can judge it's performance, though I wonder why would you increase your search range like that? You'd probably never find a collision but searching in 66 bit range you will definitely find the key.

ok.
brute forcing private keys of a btc ddress may take less than public keys but some codes need to work with pubkeys...
for example , keyhunt in bsgs mode, works faster than other tools in this case.
so this tool has an input file or single pubkey to work on it and find the privatekey .

Now for these puzzles (that have no output transactions) we have no pubkeys and we can not use bgsg mode of keyhunt.
is this correct ??
All the low range keys such as 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90 could be found fairly easily, e.g, if you had the public key for #66, it would take a minute considering you had a good gear using kangaroo, that's why they are all solved, now the  biggest challenge next in line is #130, which will be solved probably in a few month from now.

Also note that when you are brute forcing to find rmd160, you are performing a sha256 + an rmd160 hashing with each iteration, so you'd get much less speed, but when you have a public key you can search much faster.  But none of the existing tools are good enough, they are practically useless for high ranges.

Kangaroo and bsgs only work with public keys, both useless now.
Bitcrack vanitygen can search for address/rmd160, both useless now.
Don't waste time on addresses/rmd160, instead work on public key division.😉

I’ve never contacted anyone about you ever
You may want to check your forum PM Outbox at November 19, 2019, 06:29:27 PM (Amsterdam time).
I'm pretty sure he means not contacting anyone outside of this forum, like stalking him, harassing him in his personal life etc, What am I doing, I'm ignored by you, so someone will have to quote me so that you can see my post.🙃

BTW, where are you guys with dethroning the president? I have ordered red carpet and fine champaign for the new president. I want theymos to see us popping the bottles open on his way to *China, since Chinese were first in line to get to him, because crypto is banned there and he runs this forum which has some old boards dedicated for Chinese members. By any chance is theymos the legendary Jack Bauer from tv series 24? Because he was the only one wanted by every country.
