6041  Economy / Services / Re: FortuneJack.com NEW Campaign – Earn up to 0.2 BTC A Month!!! Weekly Payments. on: April 11, 2016, 09:41:00 AM
FortuneJack,

There are some serious accusations in your main thread which you seem to be ignoring.

Please Address them.

Users should consider that FortuneJack is refusing to address several important issues lately when deciding whether or not to promote them in their signature.

Some of them explained in THIS POST and the rest in the same thread.

Also, for some reason FJ is addressing old scam accusations which were ignored months ago as if they were made yesterday IN THIS THREAD

Users,

Just wanted to update this post for anyone considering to join this campaign.

Fortune Jack has deleted the questions I originally linked in above post, which was a self moderated thread.

I'll just post them here for now and change the link.

When I have time to put all the details together for the scam accusation I will let you all know.

Dear FortuneJack,

Please explain how your giant Video Contest concluded.

I understand nobody met the view requirements for the top 3 prizes, what about all the "Honorary victors like the fourth to the thirtieth placers will receive a total of 3 BTC each."

Here is how you advertised it, in case you forgot:

Massive amounts of Bitcoin in store for the victors

Winners will be determined based on the overall views their videos have garnered all throughout the campaign, which will be from Jan. 15 to Feb. 29, 2016.

A grand total of 10 BTC will be given to the contest’s first placer, which will be followed by a Bitcoin prize worth 7 BTC and 4 BTC for the second and third place winners. Honorary victors like the fourth to the thirtieth placers will receive a total of 3 BTC each.

On another note, the Jack’s Favorite award will be given to the entry that has been personally handpicked by the moderators of this Bitcoin casino. Of course, the titleholder for this reward will receive special and exclusive perks courtesy of FortuneJack.

In order to land on the first place spot, entries must generate over 15,000 views, the second place must generate at least 7,000 views and third place 10,000 views.

So far, the participants of the contest have been very active and submitting videos to Fortunejack. The process is very dynamic and videos look very creative and well-made. You can be even better if you make a little effort and submit your version showing your vision, your ideas about FortuneJack. Please be more active, submit your video and become the winner who will be awarded with 10 BTC!!!

Meanwhile, the video that garners over 15,000 views will be crowned as the champion of this FortuneJack promotional campaign.

A grand total of 10 BTC will be given to the contest’s first placer, which will be followed by a Bitcoin prize worth 7 BTC and 4 BTC for the second and third place winners. Honorary victors like the fourth to the thirtieth placers will receive a total of 3 BTC each.

Also, I'd like to remind you it's been almost one month since I asked you to clarify your rules.  You told me you were working on it a couple weeks later, remember?

Dear adaseb,

We have discussed this issue via mail. Hope everything is Ok now. Let us know should you be experiencing the login issue. Thank you.

Please don't ignore me FortuneJack, I'm trying to help you.  This is the third time I've asked now, do you think I'm being unreasonable?

Attempt #1 [LINK]
Attempt #2 [LINK]
Attempt #3:
Dear FortuneJack,

I don't see any rules about players having multiple accounts. Will you clarify your stance on this.

Are you aggressively taking action to prevent players from multi-accounting and punishing those who do?

If you don't prohibit multi-accounting, I suggest you mention somewhere that multi-accounting is permitted.
Simply doing/saying nothing on the issue is just going to hurt the honest players and benefit the cheaters.
Again, doing nothing will cause the most damage to you players who are the most honest.

Do you allow small cashouts to be processed by new accounts without any sort of manual review?
For the sake of game integrity, I hope not.

Do you understand why nearly every other poker site reviews cashout requests when the funds are exposed to peer2peer wagering?

You should consider players cheating other players just as seriously as you take players cheating you.

PS - I'll keep asking you these questions until you answer, so please don't ignore me the way you have in the past.

Dear user,

Thank you for the interest in the above mentioned clauses. We read your message, we are aware of that and we will provide you with the answer. You do not have to reiterate it with that frequency as the reminder. Your opinion matters, thank you for helping us improve your future visits! Have a great day.

Sites need to be held accountable for their actions, so I'm going to open scam accusation thread if FJ doesn't address video contest and poker room policies soon (when I get around to it).  And no, "We are working on the situation" doesn't count anymore.

If someone else wants to make thread, please feel free.

Also if anyone has any info not already posted on video contest please share.  I only know whats been said recently.

I promise not to let these issues be forgotten if unresolved.

What would be worse?  If they are lying or telling the truth?
Is there a lie that is worse than Betcoin's truth?  If this isn't the actual truth, why would they make up a lie that's worst than the truth?
Maybe he's covering for Jessica?

I asked who banned me and why, does anyone else translate this response to "I banned you because I'm crazy and I do what I want"?

That's possible, but unlikely since she probably has to be on her best behavior after her recent time out.

Maybe this is her best behavior, she is management after all.  (Or perhaps she was telling the truth when she told us she was just a forum rep.  Who knows)

6043  Economy / Services / Re: ❃❃ ▶▷ BETCOIN.ag ◁◀ ❃❃#Signature Campaign-High Pay, Monthly Bonus, Special Award on: April 10, 2016, 08:59:33 PM
Theymos will just tell you the same. Have a search in Meta and you'll likely find him stating it numerous times (cba searching right now).

Thank you very much for your informations.

Have a great day.
Best regards.

Why not simply starting new, self moderated thread, with clearly stated local rules?

Why not simply explain why you are sure my accusations are false?

Is it really that difficult?

@roslinpl

I request again that you clarify your statement on why you are quite sure that my accusations are false.  It's been well over a month since you made it in THIS POST (in this thread), and it seems you are unable to back up your statement.   Were you intentionally being dishonest?  Do you believe what you said?  If you were forced to say it, I would understand.  You can respond here, pm, anywhere really.  That way I can stop asking.

I'm not a staff member, you're not a staff member, so why don't you bring up your accusations in the appropriate place instead of derailing the signature thread. Is your only gripe about how they calculate rakeback? If so, don't play with them and simply choose another online poker room.

When someone brings an issue to the official Betcoin thread, Betcoin ignores it and sig campaigners who barely even play on the site bury it.

There's a scam accusation thread 4 pages long with 4,000 views, Betcoin hasn't even bothered trying to dispute it.

I think bringing these issues up here so those who go around spending more time posting about Betcoin than they do playing on it are more aware of reality is pretty productive.

If you believe Betcoin is an honest company that behaves professionally, you must believe these statements indicating they are glad I'm making these posts:

As with any company as it grows there will be detractors, those that say negative things, however often these few people are the ones that use Betcoin.ag the most.  Also, every company that achieves some notoriety will not be able to please 100% of the people 100% of the time, though we continue to try, search Google is a Scam for example.  Each comment from a detractor only serves to bump our thread which creates more interest in Betcoin and drives more traffic to Betcoin.  Once the traffic arrives, they stay and we are thankful for that.

On another note the signature campaign is doing quite well and is very popular.  After discussing this with Staff, we do appreciate you keeping all of our threads in the top spot of each page because it helps us generate more interest in our signature campaign and bring more customers to Betcoin who end up staying.  If you had your affiliate link in there you could be earning some good coin.  Indirectly, you are our number one affiliate here at BitcoinTalk and for that we are very thankful.

PISHING EMAIL WARNING

This is from the people that got Betcoin.ag user login/email early last January the same week that they announced a mandatory PW change for every single player.

The same email described above was sent to an email address only ever used to register for Betcoin.ag today at 1:56 am EST with a phishing link leading through a russian site and landing on a similiar url as bitcasino with "bitcoindrugs" added.

A couple weeks ago, they sent this email:

It linked to a casino that looked exactly like Bitcasino, but was only a cashier with deposit address and an ad to download free vpn.

Since January Betcoin.ag has been asked probably close to 100 times by various users how someone got their users login/email info.  Their only response has been that they were not hacked.

Here are some examples of other phishing attempts made by the same people: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1379083.0

I too just got one of these.

I do not believe i had an account at BitCasino... (I just made one)

I bet you have an account at Betcoin.ag thats at least 3 months old though!

It seems like it shouldnt be that far off.
That's because you are a human with emotions.

Not a computer.

If you want to prove it's rigged forget how you "feel" or it "seems", get the HHs of an adequate sample size, figure out what's going on and explain it to the rest of us.

Here's an example of how Michael Shackleford did it (successfully imo)

http://wizardofodds.com/online-gambling/casino-bar/

Otherwise people will look at you the same as guys like this:

+1 THE LIVE GAMES ARE RIGGED! GO PLAY BETONPOKER ITS JUST SO IN YOUR FACE RIGGED THAT ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY!

I noticed your local rules and am interested in whether or not they will be enforced.  I think perhaps Betcoin has convinced you that "spam" is anything that makes you look bad.  It's not.  Some examples of spam would be when someone just fills up big space with random characters, when someone is just copy/pasting the same thing over and over, or when someone is just quoting a something big and just saying two words under it to take up space on the screen LIKE THIS

If your rules are enforced, you may end up getting several members of your own campaign banned , including the sponsor!

Quote from: TwitchySeal link=topic=1236667.msg14414635#msg14414635
A perfect example is back in october, I had a serious issue involving over $1k USD worth of BTC missing.  Betcoin makes a statement, about a policy never mentioned or practiced by other sites I say something about it, and immediately hopenotelate jumps to defend Betcoin with a 100% lie.  Then just ignores any question of why he said that. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=386266.msg12699686#msg12699686
Your statement above is partially false as well:

there are pokerrooms where you dont get awarded VIP points if you join tournaments by winning satellites.
Why are you stating the false then?
Yes there are poker rooms that do not award VIP points for mtts you qualify for.  I did not say there isn't.

I'll concede that I can not prove that there are no other sites with a rewards program that rewards mtt players based on the fee they paid, unless they qualified via satellite (which they also paid a separate fee for) which awarded both the buy in + fee from the prize pool.  (Which means they raked the satellite entry twice, and only pay vip rewards once)

I still stand behind my statement and would be surprised if you were to prove me wrong.  It's possible though.

I played several ipoker skins that used (at least when I was playing there) that practice (if its that one the practice you are referring to) and incerely thought the whole ipoker network was doing the same (prove me I'm wrong on Ipoker please because I still sincerely think so).
It's possible, I suppose.

iPoker has a very unorthodox approach to rakeback.  More recently they switched to a model which awards rakeback based on how much a player has deposit and lost/won rather than how much has actually been raked from the hands they played relative to the ammount they contributed to pot.

I think more likely you didn't understand the policy then, now, or both.

I live in a gaming regulated country where player of my nationality are compelled to play on our country pokerrooms against players of my same nationality and most of them still do that practice.
I doubt that.

Not that it really matters, but I too live in a (very) regulated jurisdiction and can say for a fact that none of them have such a policy.

You are a great selective quoter: you could also quote a post of mine following by few posts the one you quoted where I adimit I was wrong when stating that stars and iPoker are the first two in poker industry for numbers of players but instead are first and fourth: so what I wrote wasnt completely false but only partially (stars is the first) and two position wrong about ipoker (fourth instead of second).
So I kept on answering your post and didnt "just ignore any question" and you stated.

Yes, it's true inTHIS POST you admited you were wrong about ipoker being the second biggest. I doubt most members of this campaign would have done that, well done.  I don't see how this was relevant enough to mention.

Why are you stating the false then?
I'm not.

Then, one or two page after, there is another post of mine where I wrote I asked a friend of mine who plays on partypoker and he told me I was wrong about the vippoints/satellites policy and at the end of my post I clearly wrote I was wrong and it was my bad.
But of course you have been careful not to quote it to make me appear an inveterate liar.
So it was the second post from me answering to the one you just quoted here.

First, lets look at Betcoins original statement and the first response:

For clarity, players receive VIP points when you use your bitcoin to buy into a satellite tournament based on the fees you pay. You do not receive VIP points on the tournament that you are entered into once you win the seat.

...and, by the way, it is what happens in every FIAT based pokerroom.

So hope noone will complain about it.

Keep in mind, what you said was completely false.  (No other poker major room has this policy, probably no other room period)

Why would I bother to mention that in THIS POSTyou said you asked a friend and found out that ONE site does not have the same policy.  Thats still implying the policy is normal and makes sense, which is against my entire argument.

Why again you stating the false saying I completely ignored you?

Because you did.  You still haven't explained why you made THIS POST  It's ok though, you aren't running a poker site, so I stopped asking.

Who is the liar?

You are a liar.  There are many though and most of them have much worse intentions than you.  I think you just took something I said too personally.

6048  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-Big Tourneys-BONUS-Freerolls, Ring Games, Real Poker on: April 10, 2016, 01:17:27 AM

Seems like a pretty unsafe system if people can get randomly banned and nobody knows why.  Perhaps even more of their infrastructure has been compromised?

What would be worse?  If they are lying or telling the truth?
6049  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-Big Tourneys-BONUS-Freerolls, Ring Games, Real Poker on: April 10, 2016, 12:34:10 AM
So yesterday affternoon I was in Betcoin chat explaining how the other skins of WPN worked:

2:49pmOHYEAH: yeah on 5dimes you can request 27% flat rb
2:49pmOHYEAH: you get rb or the vip program
2:49pmOHYEAH: not both
2:51pmOHYEAH: try betdsi or moneybookers
2:51pmOHYEAH: etc
2:51pmOHYEAH: sharktank is WPN cash, spin n gos mtts
2:51pmOHYEAH: same thing, same payment processors

Then Boom, ban #9 for me I believe.

A minute later I see Andrew in the chat so i fill out the 3 fields required to make new account "twiitchyseal" and ask him why he banned me.   Get banned again.

So I pull up live support and we get off to a rocky start but I was able to have a decent conversation with George (customer service) which was something I never thought would happen.  He says he doesnt know why I was banned but would try and find out, and I believe he will try mostly because he's customer support, not management (I think)  But I don't believe he will find out, or if he does, he will not tell me.

So I open a ticket:

Quote
Earlier today my account was disabled.

I believe andrew disabled it it as he was in chat immediately after when I created another account to finish my conversation.

I think anytime a player is banned an explanation should be given on exactly why they are banned and how long they will be banned for. This would reduce the need to create multiple accounts simply to communicate.

Here's the rest of the ticket...

Why am I posting all this?  Because it's a good example of Betcoin treating a player like shit.  Obviously they hate me for trying to prevent them from getting away with so much BS and insist on playing this game where the things they say are the complete opposite of their actions.  This time it's me, so it's easy to post, but they do it to lots of players.  They do it because they think they can get away with it by throwing money broke players they see begging for money on their site or signature campaign grinders for saying good things about them and bad things about anyone who says otherwise.

Whoever is behind Betcoin calling the shots in the end, if you're reading this, this is why your site has done nothing but tread water for 2 years.  You could be averaging 300-800 players easily on a weeknight if you just owned your mistakes and didn't have a reputation of trying to buy a reputation.

Update:

Betcoin decided to use same strategy to explain my ban that they used to explain scammers suddenly having our email/login info, rake increasing and collecting for jackpot which didn't exist.  Passive aggressive arrogance also maintained.

What does that has to do with anything? You trying to discredit me - But instead you should at least go play the damn games and see for yourself. Its not hard to do - logon go to betonpoker place some large bets on high percentage hands and see how the dealer will pull out the impossible to win. Its clear as day they are rigging the dog gone games.

I'm not here to prove the game is or isn't rigged, you are.

I'm just telling you that when someone goes on rant about how they are so sure a game is rigged and they were cheated but can't articulate what actually happened other than "Images can be manipulate thru the feed. Its rigged I tell ya" , it's pretty safe to assume the reason they can't explain the issue is because it only exists in their own brain.

Their BETGAMES.TV live games are rigged. Especially LIVE Baccarat and BET ON POKER. All one has to do is make several bets of 20 mbtc or greater and they will see the dealer do the impossible. The live games are NOT legit and honest. Images can be manipulate thru the feed.

Live games can be rigged with several ways but faking the stream can never be done because there is always interaction of player to the dealer. Most of the times, dealers are trained to do some stuff that most people cant see, like faking cards or slipping it through their hands without letting players see it
OP might need to answer this and prove their credibility since bitcasino already established their name, this allegation needed to answer directly and provide proofs that the issue is incorrect as of now i enjoyed playing their slots and Im not aware or affected of this live casino.

I tell you what you do. Go play BET ON POKER for 20 mBTC and bet on mutiple outcomes and see if the dealer doesn't pullout the impossible wins. Its rigged I tell you.

So there's a guy with a username of a different bitcoin casino, link in the signature as well, discrediting a competitor? Seems legit!

Not another casino, even worse.  It's scummy affiliate site owner proving he A)doesn't mind advertising sites he thinks are scams and B)Is unaware that when you run around crying rigged in a forum without any rational explanation or proof - you will only make a fool of yourself.

From his own site:

PISHING EMAIL WARNING

This is from the people that got Betcoin.ag user login/email early last January the same week that they announced a mandatory PW change for every single player.

The same email described above was sent to an email address only ever used to register for Betcoin.ag today at 1:56 am EST with a phishing link leading through a russian site and landing on a similiar url as bitcasino with "bitcoindrugs" added.

A couple weeks ago, they sent this email:

Since January Betcoin.ag has been asked probably close to 100 times by various users how someone got their users login/email info.  Their only response has been that they were not hacked.

Here are some examples of other phishing attempts made by the same people: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1379083.0

Finally got a response about the user data being compromised in early Janurary from Betcoin staff.

Obviously the second and third paragraphs are Betcoins standard passive aggressive BS we've all heard.

Pretty sure the claim that only 20% of players got the email is 100% bullshit and they will just ignore questions about it, but I try anyway....

And a classic statement from Jessica. (Keep in mind this was the first they have responded to the issue in 84 days.

still no resolution to my problem and no contact whatsoever

(TWO MONTHS LATER)

Dear user,

We have sent you the email and contacted you as soon as you wrote.  Now,  investigating the game takes time in order to provide you with quality answer. To our understanding, when a user has the issue they do not have to be aggressive and should adhere to ethics of mail communication.  As soon as we investigated your case we gave you this response on Feb 15:

We have checked on your game in our system and ID 4407961462  of your played game in BJ has the open status dated  05/02/2016 14:38:10. The  "open" status is due to disconnection of the you from the game. The reason for that could be either you  left the game on purpose, or were disconnected due to network difficulties on your end. As for the supposed WN ... you can log back into the game and finish the hand any time, afterward the status of the hand will change to close.

Please, prior to posting wrong accusations read the mail we sent and please try to post a rational assessment of this case.

Thank you and have a good day.

I'd be curious to see how much time the signature campaign members defending FJ in this thread actually spend playing on fortune jack (other than in the poker  freerolls)

They probably didn't even realize FJ just bumped a thread that died 2 months ago.  FJ probably didn't either.

Posts like these are wrong on many levels.

Well I thought they should deal with my problem in a timely manner

You are not the only customer that play on the site for sure and they got hundreds of customer that might send them other support email as well so they are taking some time to fix the other issue since yours isnt really important. I could split whatever card I got in the blackjack so Im not really sure why you cant do that

still havent offered me nothing apart from air.

I can totally tell that you are just making this a big fuss because you want something or atleast compensation because you lost the game. From the way you write this all up, this is just too dramatic and most people can here vouch that it would not take 8-9 working days for the fortunejack support to reply an email from player

Also dooglus pulled one of the biggest scams in btc history with the justdice fiasco.  So LOL at being a "top trusted member"

What's that meant to mean?

I don't think anyone ever accused me of pulling a scam with just-dice before.

I was entrusted with 60 million dollars worth of BTC while running just-dice and ended up returning it all to its owners.

I was pretty trusted before running just-dice, but demonstrating that I could be trusted with 60 million dollars worth of BTC certainly didn't damage my reputation.

Remember that one time that money was "scammed" and cashed out from your hot wallet without review and then you stole it from your investors? Maybe that's the scam I'm talking about. If I remember right it was 6 figures of btc. I was an investor and I did not get a dime back. But good fairy tale story therr dooglus...
