6061  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price manipulation on: June 15, 2018, 05:47:18 PM
This would be a good use of the government. Actually working for the people. Though of course I prefer them to stay away. But this is good.
In terms of volatility right ? We can sure say it is good since at least there is a lot to benefit from it, but for the good of the market and maturity of the market, it is not good one bit. So many times, there would be a pattern that most manipulators will purposely bring up just to make traders hop in but in reality, all they plan is to screw them over and in a way even activate stop losses in their favor which to me is not a good thing. The market does not move based on usage or real life usage, but based on how some set of people who have upper hand just want it to move, which is really not good.
6062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do? on: June 15, 2018, 05:15:30 PM
Depends on what you know and what qualities you have. If knowledge and skills aren't reliable, then it's better to hold. If you still know something, you can earn much more than just holding for long time...
Yeah, knowledge does play an important role in any decision one is making and that makes it pretty interesting if you have the knowledge of long term trading. Holding may not sound like a smart job to many traders as they do believe into active trading. But who is making more profits in a given time may decide about the real smartness.

I am a holder and at the same time a long term trader who usually take advantage of behaving more like the institutions by buying during accumulation and selling during distribution. You cannot miss it as long as you know what you are doing and you are making good use of every moment to increase your portfolio than just holding it all through.
6063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bounty helped your project? on: June 15, 2018, 12:29:21 PM
Hey

I was wondering, how bounty campaign can help your project to get bigger.

Do you have such experience?

For example, for the company I work in - a lot. It attracted more than 5000 to our telegram community. What about you?
Did it help to increase conversation from telegram member to investors? I don't sure. All bounty hunters are not interested in the project. That's why how many members in your group it means nothing for fund raise
I don't think bounty hunters are not interested in this ICO project.
Most of the time, on the contrary, my participation in this bounty thread means that I am optimistic about the ICO project.
The problem is that some people generalize things a lot and for sure there may be some bounty hunters that may not care about some project, but in the real sense, if bounty hunters can see themselves as investors, they will know better to do proper scrutiny before even going ahead to invest in any ICO which virtually most of them do not.

This is a diversion from the topic anyway, but the fact is that bounty has helped a lot of projects more than you can imagine, as it is more like a less expensive way to carry out public ad for your project without having to spend anything at all.
6064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is down, Altcoin is UP !! on: June 15, 2018, 11:43:35 AM
According to Ripple's CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, the Bitcoin dominance is expected to end soon.
He actually said : '' There is a very strong correlation between the price of XRP and that of Bitcoin. But these are essentially independent open-source technologies. »
The man is convinced that we are now witnessing the emergence of a much more rational market. As a result, the behaviour of investors will be permanently altered, which will lead to a devaluation of Bitcoin. Therefore, it will no longer serve as a reference to other crypto-currencies.
Hope he's right Smiley
For me i Believe the other way around, if bitcoin will continue to go a downhill trend so as other altcoind will follow in the long run. Yes intially i think the altcoin will rise in the fall of bitcoin because investors will seek another alternative investments but surely if the mother of all cryptocurrency will degrade i believe all the more the reason that other altcoins will follow the same lead.
Yeah, the whole dominance thing is still there and we should forget the idea where someone would come up to think we will just see less dominance in bitcoin.

Yeah it may happen, but we all do not know what can happen eventually in the future. If we get to see more altcoin/fiat trading pair, and the sentiments about seeing the altcoin market dump in cases where btc is getting dumped, then we may actually start seeing the mindset of traders changing and that is what matters anyway but for now, nothing is guaranteed.
6065  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think that the price is fully manipulated? on: June 15, 2018, 06:27:53 AM
I do not think the closing of registrations for new accounts is related to any price manipulation issues. It is mainly down to scaling problems.
I do agree that there are some who can manipulate the price of certain coins.
I am pretty sure there is no one that does not know this is already a fact and sometimes the whales are so stupid and dumb enough to keep making it obvious. Compared to the past, I must say that bitcoin price manipulations are got reduced but I am not sure what future has for us.

As a whale, I believe you already have an upper hand in the market, but then trying to create wrong impression in the market based on some technical movement or some fundamental news is just becoming pathetic in this market and I really hope something is done about it which would really have to start with the exchanges because I am sure they know much about this.
6066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experts Reduce End of Year Forecast for Bitcoin. on: June 15, 2018, 05:44:34 AM
Look to the end of 2013 for 'expert' predictions and then blow them a raspberry. No one knows shit about shit.

Anyone with a modicum of brain could've told them that you don't have a minor breather and then kick off the bubble again when the bubble was that enormous.
Yes.. lol. In fact they are the dumbest as they are no expert and anyone who is simply trying to claim being an expert now and predicting the future of a volatile market is the dumbest I have ever seen and does not deserve to even be called an expert or of course just looking for recognition so that when it happens, they will say 'I told you so', while changing their opinion several times in a year.

Maybe they will even bring it down back to $10,000 in the next few days, who knows ? But if we notice, bitcoin raised from $10k to ~$20k in last year November month. When $10k dollars were possible within a month why not we assume $50k or even $100k in next six or six-and-half months ?
6067  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am not sharing my crypto love? <3 on: June 14, 2018, 05:29:34 PM
Well, you tried sharing the gift of crypto currency to you friends but you cannot really forced them to appreciate things especially if they are really not into it. Mostly people just ignored the hardwork you put into but once they realized on how crypto can make their life so much easier by then they would realize and appreciate your passion on cryptocurrency.
That is it. It is better to share than not to share at all and after sharing; they are left to do whatever they want with that information.
There is really no harm in sharing and it is more like trying to show love to those around you. Some will take it and use the information and some will not just like the case he is currently having but at least, one thing I know with all these is that your conscience is clear and in the future you will know you tried your best when they see you living a large life, just that by then, it may be too late for them to start catching up.
6068  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is a constant rise in the price of Bitcoin, important? on: June 14, 2018, 04:06:34 PM
It is important for me because I am bitcoin holder, I keep holding it since the time I met bitcoin, I am also optimistic that bitcoin is the answer of all my problems financially, This is my only hope to get out from poverty, Bitcoin is a good source of income. As the value will rise, It is advantageous to my part because I gain profit from it which I used to support my needs.
A lot of people are simply focused on the short term than the long term and they just seem not to get the fact that bitcoin is a market that can easily fluctuate. If anyone is looking at the longer term picture, bitcoin has been increasing over the years; at least, the end price of a year is always greater than the previous year.

Nevertheless, some feel even in FOMO, the price should just keep rising and in that case, anyone who wants to tap from that should just simply go learn how to trade and take advantage of the fluctuations in between the rise.
6069  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin becoming the sovereign currency on: June 14, 2018, 03:33:20 PM
It seems impossible if for example bitcoin into the currency of a country because now every country has its own currency and currency used by the country has been very long in use and already all people know the currency and also the currency of a country is the identity of a country .
No country will even want to jeopardize the idea of centralization and leave it all up for decentralization to rule. I am not sure how that is going to play out, but I want to believe it is something that may not play out at all.

Bitcoin is a store of value and that is what I believe it is going to keep being whereas even as a store of value it still serves as currency but let us not forget that even though it is accessible to everyone, not everyone will find it easy to access and that makes two community in the long run with one being a fiat community and the other being a crypto community.
6070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many altcoins on: June 14, 2018, 10:59:20 AM
If my own opinion I usually look at the movement of the first coin in volume, if I was sure I usually buy it direct my own preferred coin ignis because a good volume movement
Looking at volume alone will not always help but for anyone considering long term, it is always better to look out for the prospect of the project so you can at least know you are holding a coin or token that is going to be sustainable and as well have a long term support.

It is a big market and we just have to find a way to always filter our choices so we can at least limit them to the good ones, but also to take note that even at that, you cannot always catch all the good ones, so you should be contended with as much as you can lay your hands on.
6071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bountyplatform on: June 14, 2018, 06:47:09 AM
I would like to hear all the pros and cons of bountyplatform.io. I myself use this platform almost from the very beginning of its work. One drawback is that there are not enough exclusive companies. Payments were for two companies, and this was done in the allotted time. Even if there are any inaccuracies, you can always solve them with platform managers. Of those platforms that I met, this is the best. If this is not true, please advise the top 1 Grin
So far, I have only seen pros and no cons at all. This is one platform that comes with 100% smooth operation when it comes to transparency, quick update on your stakes and quick payment, which is something a lot of platforms have not been able to beat at all so far. I do not know how they have done this, but the guys behind this platform are good to the core. The only minus may just be the number of projects as I wish there could be more, but for the little ones they have been running, they are quite some number of solid projects.
6072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Being aware of SCAMS on: June 14, 2018, 05:23:34 AM
Scam projects or ICO's is quite difficult to determine because some of the scammers are trying to hide everything whn they make a scam project. They do everything to make realistic project tha you didn't expect to be faked because of all the things that a project created is looks like real. So it is better to understand what is the real/legit projects or bounty campaign or even ICO's for us to avoid scam and prevent scammers.
Not difficult if you really want to. The problem is that a lot of people are just too lazy to read and as long as that is applicable, they will never find solution. Reading through this thread, I have seen a lot of information given out to help those who would want to at least identify scam ICOs.

Still, you get to see people posting this after the whole information given, probably because they are just increasing post count or because they are not just ready to know anything at all. Scams are the easiest to identify if you are willing to dig up the right criteria and can scrutinize the project well.
6073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest me good ICOs please on: June 13, 2018, 03:35:59 PM
It is your money mate and not someone else's and you should know better how risky the ICO space is, so trying to get suggestions to know what to invest in is actually one thing you should not be doing unless you want to just use it as a guideline to do your own research but do not ever use it as a basis of investing straight up. On that note, I would say you should try out Qurrex, not because I am putting on the signature, but for the fact that is one you do not want to miss. I won't say more than that!
Agreed. The thing with investment is that you cannot always rely on what others tell you but what you really know.
So many times, a lot of people just accept what others tell them and if things do not work in the way they imagined, they blame others but not themselves.

We all have our opinion and what we see in choosing a project but the thing is that it differs from each other's opinion. However, I am happy to see someone coming up with the Qurrex ICO as this is one no single soul in the community should miss as I see this exchange growing pretty fast. We thought binance had a speedy growth? Wait for this one!
6074  Economy / Speculation / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin "again" ??? on: June 12, 2018, 01:40:23 PM
Is there first if bitcoin Will incur rise? After a few weeks of downtrend, is this a good time to add investment to bitcoin?

It's right on the dip, or still There will be a second, third or even worse dip?

Give your opinion on this.
Thanks

I am not for sure at the moment. Someone has transfer 8000 BTC into Huobi exchange. According to CCN, here https://www.ccn.com/mysterious-asian-whale-begins-funneling-funds-back-to-huobi/
Everyone should be careful that would lead to a pump on Altcoins or a dump on BTC market
It looks like this is gradually becoming the talk of the community now with the 8000 btc transfer and any slight movement of such always tend to generate some MtGox fever among the traders which I have noticed to always cause some quick reaction towards some sell out.

Well, if we are to keep looking at all those, no one will end up buying the market but one thing I know for sure is that the value could start going up or could still go down lower, and the best thing to do is to at least buy small no matter how little, so that on its guaranteed way up or down, you can still buy more based on the trend.

6076  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy going up and up everyday on: June 06, 2018, 06:18:20 PM
You are very right mate! Things are not looking pretty good economically, and it is already showing some signals we are about hitting a new stage of possible global economic meltdown. Nevertheless, for some of us who already understand that this space means more than anything already as this would obviously make most enthusiasts and those who always use this period to move into gold, see cryptocurrency as another avenue to store up value pending when everything will calm down.
6077  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 06, 2018, 04:23:46 PM
Even we dont want to pay taxes we cant do anything even we say tax is a theft what we can do.here in our country they aldreafy deduct tax in our salary so before we receive our salary irs already deducted

Paying your taxes is considered a civic duty, although doing so is also a requirement of the law. If you do not pay your taxes, the government agency that oversees taxes the Internal Revenue Service or IRS will require you to pay your taxes or else face penalties, such as fines or going to jail. We must obey the regulations in our government to prevent penalties.
I honestly feel what a whole lot of people have said here and from the look of things, I see taxation as a theft most especially when it is not being used for what it is meant for or the right reasons.

I know for most government workers in my country anyway, tax is being deducted from their pay anytime, which makes them automatically subjected, however, for business people, tax law is there and you are to stick by it, but the law is not strict and the targets are usually the big companies who evade tax anyway.

Nevertheless, if I am even seeing the usefulness of the tax they have been collecting, I would have at least been a good citizen being an entrepreneur, but I do not care. They are just some bunch of thieves, why give them the little that I have left ?
6078  Economy / Economics / Re: New investor and prices on: June 05, 2018, 05:52:25 PM
If we have less new investors, so the prices tend to fluctuate less? How much dependent of new investors the prices are ?
Do not concern yourself with such questions we have no control about the number of investors in the market, so I think it is pointless to think about it, bitcoin is becoming more popular as time passes and this means that the number of investors over the long term is going up and not down so we will never know the answer to your question but if were to guess I think the market will fluctuate in the same way.
New investors or not, the prices will still keep fluctuating but how it is fluctuating is what matters which is downwards or upwards. In the absence of new investors, it is either we keep seeing real believers holding at some point after a downtrend, or we keep seeing supply increasing and then more of a downtrend.

I have never seen a point, where there really would not be a case where there would always be a new investor in a market with a lot of potentials and like you said, things like this are stuffs we should really not be concerning ourselves about.
6079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why the facebook, google are banning cryptocurrency? on: June 05, 2018, 05:09:08 PM
Bitcoin continues to be pounded by negative news. Unconfirmed reports about Twitter following the footsteps of Facebook and Google in banning cryptocurrency ads pushed Bitcoin’s price below $8,000 on March 18.

These prohibitions are single. Some ICO are advertising, some are blocked on facebook ads and google adwords. Everywhere are double standarts
That tells simply that it is not like adverts are banned totally, but as long as you have an ICO, you can tender documents to show its legitimacy, then you are good to go and this is the reason why you see some adverts of cryptocurrency still displaying. The good thing is that, at least, if you see an advert now, you sure would still be relaxed that it is verified and you can at least be compelled to want to dig further on the project if it is worth investing or not which for me, is a good thing.
6080  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling items online for Bitcoin or crypto on: June 05, 2018, 04:19:17 PM
It is a good idea if bitcoin or cyptocurrency will be allowed to use items on selling online, but theres another options we can use bitcoin for selling items online.

That idea is already been implemented and there were now lots of online merchants and business that partners with bitcoin and other cryptos like ripple , eth , bch , etc to be used on online transactions such as buying and selling .

i think this idea is already a success because there are many users of cryptocurrencies around the globe that do online shopping and other online activities every single day.
Yeah, it could have been implemented which is not false anyway as I have seen a lot of them, but even though it is not a new idea, having a lot of this springing up is not a bad thing at all. The e-commerce sector is extremely big and as far as I am concerned, we are not even close to penetrating it, but gradually as we keep seeing more people popping up, and accepting cryptocurrencies, it would really make a lot of sense for real life usage and adoption.
