Whatever we say about a corrupt and dishonest government, taxes will have to be paid off, otherwise, if we do not do this, it will be even worse. All that will require funding from the budget, will decline. Over time, it will simply become a disaster. Therefore, in order to avoid this, we need to pay taxes, including for dealing with crypto currency. Also one might say government can print all the money they need , but that's not the case ..the more money a government prints the lower the value of their currency gets which genrally have adverse effects in many sectors.

We should pay taxes for providing us some heath services making program to help people, making school to educate people or kids to learn and secure us by upgrading our law of enforcement. All the taxes that we pay is for our generational profit.

Funny things like this makes someone thinks that the leaders are just spending the money as they seem it fit whether its impacting directly to the citizens or not. I wonder the amount of funds that would that would have been expended in the research and finding of energy in another planet that we all know we are not going whether now or in the future. For countries that have advantages in certain commercial products tend to sell abroad for huge amount of money while those with the right amount of population tend to be import dependent and generate money on that. Tax gets misused many times like funding NASA "planet mars mission". There are more meteorite hits on Mars than on Earth but they are spending tax payers multi-million dollars on Mars missions. Wasteful government expenditure of the governments must be cancelled by the taxpayers.

All countries have the same thing. Developed too. Maybe somewhat less, but they do.

I believe we should pay taxes for these things. But in reality, the government does not its job correctly and uses it for other things. You can see this in the amount of money the US government wastes on their military (which can be destroyed by China and Russia if they teamed up)

Where I live, the gov't does not use much of the taxes collected for public schools, hospitals, and other things that benefit the people, but rather use it to their benefit. That is why I am against taxes in reality, but not against it if we were to live in a utopian society.
