First thing, there is no need to quote their whole ANN when you are reporting something suspicious, link to topic and archived version is enough. Regarding that DSF project, whether they intend to spread malware I don't know, but they are obviously shilling their thread. Newbie accounts made in 2018/2019 with no prior activity suddenly appeared just when this thread has been made, and showing classic shill behavior. That is not something that any legit project would do, and is a big red flag in my eyes (not the reason to delete the thread though, but you can always report shill posts, and usually they get deleted.) So yeah, they are definitely suspicious. |

But I would appreciate some tl;dr version, if anyone can bother  What I didn't see in that article is whether families will join the players in the quarantine, or not? I know that rumor was that families will be with the players, i just don't know what was the final decision regarding that. I sure hope they gave up on that idea, for their own safety. |

Good find! Since they are doing the same thing on their ANN thread, no surprise that they are shilling YouTube videos. I guess they went for full shill package. Real question is, if Bitwing has phones and technology to mine without power consumption since April 2019, why the hell they need other peoples money? Thing is, they don't, according to them, they already have money making machines...
There are many questions about Bitwings as they promise a lot, and most of it sounds to good to be true, especially that 300% profit in 3 years part. Promising minimum value of their tokens is not any better either, considering they were selling those tokens for half the price last year. The best, absolute best gear that's on the market that could deliver 2 eth a month means one and a half Inno A10 for each contract, but the starting price for that gear would be 4500$, 4.5x times what they get on for the phone, and 2x times what they get fro the plan, and it would also imply they take the hit for the electricity.
Damn, that's crazy amount of money needed to produce 2 ETH per month, and yet they promise that for period of 3 years, for such a low price. That 18 ETH they would charge for "Enterprise" contract is cheaper than 1 of that Inno A10miners. And then you add electricity cost etc.. As I thought, their calculation doesn't make any sense. the only way to guarantee a set rate would be to take in millions from investors and pay it back out in increments - always ensuring you bring in more than you pay out - of course.
Therefore making it a classic ponzi, that will go on as long there is influx of new investors that will pay for earlier investors. Looks like they have most of their funds from Wire transfer (over 74%) if we trust what they say.
That is over 387k USD in total they collected so far.
Might be that sale is not going as good as they planned, even though it started back in January 2019 so that's why they keep going on with new IEO rounds.

This table says it all... If this table is placed on their website, they're trying to scam. A phone with those specs having a hashrate ~3 times higher than a rig with 13 GPU's.... Not even taking into account the ridiculously low power draw...
It is on their website indeed, and in few other publications. It sounds much better to potential buyers that phone can mine 2 ETH than "buy our phone that is connected to cloud mining pool". Especially since they claim that there will even be a free option, so if you paid phone 600 USD back in mid 2019, you will get 0.2 ETH per month for 3 years. Sounds like a good deal to those that have no idea how mining works, so no wonder that people started preordering them. |

Yeah, cooltoadfrommoon is part of that bumping group. 3 other accounts that are doing the same thing in their ANN are tex173, prettiestgirl and NITER2018. They are active on Bitwings ANN for quite some time, and recently they started working on another, Coindragon, that is some kind of online casino. I doubt that it is an coincidence, same 4 accounts doing the same thing on 2 completely unrelated threads. As for their phone, is probably a clone of a clone, the best match being an umidigi z2 pro, a 300$ phone
Yep, type of the phone that you can easily order in China and just put your name on it, as many other are doing. They have been promising to deliver that phone to people since mid 2019, and people are still waiting for those, while some of them paid for the phone in February/March 2019. Back then 1 BWN=0.1 USD, so price of the phone was 600 USD.   Now, assuming they have the "software" capable of doing so, why would you sell that thing and not mine by themselves?

Official explanation would be cloud mining I guess, but they advertise it a phone itself would mine that ETH, even comparing it to the mining rig.  But even with cloud mining, profit they promise is way too high and I don't see how can that be sustainable, without them constantly loosing money. Renting 1000 MH/s for 3 years is very expensive, and yet they will charge those that buy the phone only fraction of the real price.

Another thing that sounds dodgy. They claim that value of BWN will always be at least 0.2 USD when using it to pay for phones, laptops, watches and other stuff from their online and physical stores. I have no idea how they can guarantee something like that, as we know the crypto price volatility.Let's say crypto market crashes, BWN goes down 90%, they will keep selling laptops under price? I honestly doubt that.
After launching their ICO i made a short investigation about them. Last year during ICO sale i visited their team section and found one of their team members social media details. After that i tried to contact that person through facebook to confirm the relation between wings mobile and Bitwing. Sorry to say that he didn't make any reply from his end. From my investigation i didn't find anything on his profile which relates with Bitwings.
I didn't find any FB posts made by him mentioning Bitwings, but I saw one or two cases of others mentioning it in the comments on his posts. He might be involved in Wings Mobile and Bitwings as well, but that doesn't make their claims more legit, imho. What they promise is simply too good to be true, and we all know how those projects end up. |

It looks to me that you will not be mining with the phone it self but the phone is used as a wallet and cold storage(?) from what I read in the screenshots. Thing is, that mining won't be possible without their special phone, with special software, built with "neural technology", whatever that is. Purchasing mining contract for me it means that you will be borrowing a hash power form their mining farm and the revenue can be up to 2 Eth.
When you look at the profit, somehow I doubt that ETH will come from their mining farm. For example, let's say you buy "Enterprise" package, that will give you 2.02 ETH per month, for 36 months. That will cost you 13 ETH+ 6000 BWN for phone (approximately 5 ETH), making it total price of 18 ETH. After 36 month, you should have a bit over 72 ETH, and that is 300% profit. I am not an expert in mining, but that doesn't sound right. I am not sure I can call this a ponzi, bust just a regular risky ICO project
I have issues with such a high return. From what I know about cloud mining, in most cases it is a pure ponzi scheme, especially if they promise something too good to be true. And 300% profit in 3 years sounds like that. |

Anyone with the basic knowledge of crypto mining knows that this number is simply not possible to get with smartphone. Its a clear ponzi project and you did a good job by detecting them so fast. 1% daily return is equal to 30% per month. I will suggest you to make a reply on their thread which may help thread visitors to stay away from this money stealing trap. You can definitely open a flag against them and don't forget to add the flag link on main thread.
Already asked OP of that scam in their announcement thread how they plan to sustain such profit, but we all know that he won't give any reasonable answer as such profit is not possible through simple passive staking. Waiting to support the flag from my end and already tagged them.

@OP Based on the profit calculator on your website, if someone stakes 10 BTC, he will get 17.4 BTC back (7.4 BTC of pure profit in only 100 days simply by staking crypto on your wallet. How can you promise something like that, don't you see how ludicrous that sounds, and how unsustainable it is? Yeah I am familar with that case, and it is another example how NBA deals with racism, and it doesn't tolerate it at all. So why hurt NBA then, by refusing to continue with season? Some of these players keep forgetting that many people will loose their jobs if NBA doesn't continue for a 6 month or a year. NBA is huge business, and many are dependent on that. Are they wiling to support all those people when they get fired? Another thing, if something as trivial as basketball can distract people so much from something as important, are they genuine in their protests? Even LeBron, who is usually very loud on the subject of racism, wants to continue this season without any further delay, as he realizes that there is room for both things at the same time, one doesn't exclude the other. |

My hunch the OP tested it on boards that limits the self-moderated option like Scam Accusation board as well or even here in Meta. Let's see his response on where di he really find it before he posted this topic.
In that case he wouldn't even have self-moderated option to begin with. But since he had that option available, (he even selected it) it was obviously in the board that allows that. Who knows what happen, maybe indeed was a bug or it glitched for him. As few others said, I am also selecting "self-moderated" option at the end, and after I used preview multiple times. So far had no issues. |

Since those issues are deep and complicated, and won't be solved in a few weeks or month, is Dwight Howard, and all the other players ready not to get salary for years, until all this get sorted? Somehow I doubt they would be ready to do that, to put NBA on hold for longer period if their livelihood gets endangered. I don't know, somehow I have a feeling that a lot of these NBA players simply jump onto wagon, while they were not so loud in the past in regard of these issues. The one I know was always talking about these issues is LeBron James, but now we can see even Jordan giving hundreds of million, while he didn't want to endorse Harvey Gantt when he went against Jesse Helms, who was known racist. I guess he feels stupid and ashamed now for saying "republicans buy sneakers too". Now this makes sense. Do your job, as there are bunch of other ways to support something you believe in, world doesn't have to stop. I mean I would understand if players go on strike in case there is systematic racism inside NBA organization. But in this situation, play the game, and then use money and influence to support whatever you want. |

Krenimo samo od usporedbe Havela, predsjednika Čehoslovačke i našeg prvog predsjednika Tuđmana i njihovih politika. Treba li dalje uspoređivati?  Imas politicare kakve zasluzujes, oni su samo preslika prosjecnog glasaca. Cesi su izabrali Havela, a mi biramo ove specijalce. Pitanje je zasto se Ceski mentalitet nije pokvario pod puno zescim sistemom od ovog koji je bio kod nas? Zasto kod njih nije bilo opce pljacke i zasto oni ne biraju lopove ? Cak i jedna Rumunjska koja je prije 20 godina bila jako puno iza nas je vec tu negdje, a da ne govorimo o ovim baltickim zemljama. Rat moze objasniti dio razlike, ali od toga je proslo 20+ godina, svijet ide dalje a mi stagniramo. Prvo su nam bili krivi Turci, pa Austrijanci, Talijani, Madzari, pa onda Srbi. Sad smo napokon sami sa sobom, i vidimo rezultate, sto me dovodi do zakljucka da je u nama problem. Samo sto se kod nas odgovornost i dalje prebacuje na nekog drugog. Ali slazem se, kompleksna je to tema i nema previse smisla trosit vrijeme na takve rasprave. Ali eto bar nabijamo statistiku i odradjuje se sig kampanja. |

Are that really that many hacked & recovered accounts doing this. They are usually accounts that have been inactive for a long period of time with only a few posts.
I think most of them are farmed / abandoned.
Since I am active on this topic (few months maybe) , I can remember of 3 or 4 cases when real owners reported hacked account that was used for malware spreading. So yeah, those cases are rare. If you create a flag for them it needs 3 DT to activate it and not many doing that .
Isn't that the case only for Type 3 flag ( I am not sure about Type 2) while Type 1 that would be most appropriate here here needs only 1 DT support? |

Ajde mi reci kolika je šansa da netko osim HDZ-a i SDP-a s partnerima osvoji većinu i uspije sastaviti vlast bez njih? Ja smatram da je šansa ravna nuli i zbog toga ne želim izaći. Čak i da izlaznost bude 100%, mislim da bi bilo nemoguće sastaviti vlast bez HDZ-a ili SDP-a.
Nije tu samo stvar da se sastavi vlast bez HDZSDPa, to se uostalom nece dogoditi preko noci, nego je stvar u tome da ce se i te dvije stranke morati mjenjati i transformirati, ako na izbore krenuti izlaziti i oni koji nsu vezani za te stranke ideoloski ili iz nekih sitnih interesa. Trenutno sa ovom izlaznoscu to im uopce nije potreba, jer znaju da ce njihova sljedba izaci, a ostatak pati od akutne bolikurcine. Stvar je zapravo u slijedećem.
Mi smo zapravo ''nezrela'' demokracija a kada to kažem mislim da su nekoliko generacija naši ljudi živjeli u diktaturama, prvo kralja Aleksandra u prvoj Jugoslaviji a onda i komunističkoj diktaturi od 1945. do 1990.
Kroz to vrijeme razvio se ''poseban'' mentalitet naših ljudi, da nije dobro ''talasati'' i buniti se, ili pokušavati nešto sam jer završiš u gorem slučaju u zatvoru a u boljem ostaneš bez posla, obitelji i prijatelja.
Ljudi su navikli i prihvatili da uvijek postoji neki ''gazda'' ili veliki šef, bilo lokalni šef partije ili općine ili neki glavešina u Zagrebu koji sve odlučuje i da se nije dobro zamjeriti takvim osobama. Da smo nezrela demokracija to stoji, i da volimo diktature ( doduse nismo ni do koljenima Rusima koji su mazohisti svoje vrste po tom pitanju) ali mislim da nas problem dublji i da nije problem samo u razdoblju 1918/1945 do 1991. Ja bi se slozio da smo tamo pokupili taj nesretni pristup, da ne vidim oko sebe kako se razvijaju druge zemlje EU koje su bili gazene puno jace nego mi u Jugi. Pogledaj mapu dolje, toliko smo losi da smo izvan konkurencije. Kako mogu druge zemlje koje su bile pod sovjetskom cizmom, a mi ne? Ili smo mozda i prije bili u kurcu, a juga nam sada sluzi kao jos jedan alibi. Znas onu, dobar izgovor zlata vrijedi.  Uglavnom treba nama jos puno vremena, no to ne znaci da se ne treba boriti vec sada.
Upravo tako, nece se neki mesija samo tako pojaviti od nikuda, i rijesiti sve probleme. To ce biti proces, i to dugotrajan. |
